205:Alive - 205 Live recap for August 7, 2018

Buddy Murphy and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese beat The Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Lince Dorado) after Murphy grabs at Kalisto's legs from outside the ring, allowing Nese to get the win with a schoolboy pin while grabbing the tights.

In the locker room, Mustafa Ali tells General Manager Drake Maverick he is clear despite a trip to the hospital last week from "overdoing it," and tells him he has Hideo Itami taken care of tonight. Maverick is still concerned about Mustafa Ali's well-being, but Mustafa Ali says he is fine and that he should be concerned about Hideo Itami. We then hear from Hideo Itami, who speaks in Japanese before saying that Mustafa Ali should have given him respect.

We see a video package for the returning Noam Dar.

Noam Dar beats Sean Maluta. TJP is seen watching the match - and being disinterested with it - backstage during the match.

We hear from Cedric Alexander, who is not surprised that Drew Gulak had "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher on standby when The Brian Kendrick couldn't win. He says that Drew Gulak can't beat him one-on-one, and he will remind Gallagher of that if he's up to the challenge next week. We hear from Gulak, who says that Cedric's challenge is accepted and that 205 Live needs a champion who is more like him to create a better 205 Live. He also says he needs nobody to do his dirty work, for when Cedric steps to him at SummerSlam, he will tag out.

Hideo Itami beats Mustafa Ali after Mustafa Ali nearly passes out on the top rope and loses his balance, allowing Hideo Itami to hit three drop kicks in the corner for the win. After the match, Mustafa Ali nearly passes out and falls to the mat, and General Manager Drake Maverick runs out to check on him before calling for medical help.
