Generation NXT - NXT recap for April 12, 2017

Aleister Black beats Corey Hollis with a single Black Mass in seconds.

Kayla Braxton interviews "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger, who is happy to be on SmackDown Live. However, he has unfinished business in the form of SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wulfe, Killian Dane, Nikki Cross), and after a talk with NXT General Manager William Regal, he takes on Eric Young next week in a steel cage.

#DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) beat Dylan Miley and Michael Blaze. After the match, Dylan Miley lays out Michael Blaze for costing him the match.

After the events of NXT TakeOver: Orlando, Ember Moon looks out at where the ring was. She says that this was to be her moment to go down in history as the one to snap Asuka's undefeated streak, but Asuka proved she would do anything to keep the NXT Women's Championship. She knows that she will be the one to snap the streak and take the title.

Ruby Riot beats Kimberly Frankele. During the match, Nikki Cross distracts Ruby Riot by banging a section of guardrail up and down, but the distraction does not last long.

In footage from earlier today in the WWE Performance Center, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce mock Liv Morgan and Aliyah, but Liv Morgan sends Billie Kay into a nearby tub of water, humiliating Billie.

Drew McIntyre beats Oney Lorcan in his first WWE match in almost five years. McIntyre says he is where he wants to be, and after working hard and building a reputation for the last year, he has the raw talent to make it anywhere, but he doesn't want to be anywhere else but NXT.

"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura shows up. One year ago, he came to NXT, with plenty of experience and tastes of gold in Japan, to face the best in the world. A year later, he has called it home and has learned a lot from the NXT superstars, staff and fans. He says NXT is its own brand with its own energy and life, and has created something new and different, and says the NXT Universe is crazy with their chants and singing, and that NXT is the fans' style with their chants and singing. Nakamura says he will always be NXT, as everyone here is NXT. The NXT locker room comes to the stage and gives Nakamura a standing ovation, while the NXT Universe sings Nakamura's entrance theme for what will be the last time. Finn Balor makes a surprise appearance, congratulating Nakamura before the show fades to black.
