Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for April 4, 2017

Randy Orton starts tonight's show. He says that Bray Wyatt does not have power over him, and that he won't forget his name. Bray appears on the TitanTron, saying he has power over nothing and that his rematch is coming. He wants a fight, but in a different kind of match that will push Orton's body and mind and push him to a different level of insanity. He makes it clear he wants to torture him as he takes the WWE Championship back, and that one of them will be sentenced to eternal damnation when it's over. He calls this match a "House of Horrors" Match. Orton accepts this challenge without hesitation, and tells Orton to come to the ring so he can kick his ass. The lights go out, then come back on. Wyatt is behind him, but Orton is on top of his game until a man in a twisted, beige sheep mask with what looks like oxygen tubes on it attacks Orton. It is Erick Rowan, who is back for the first time in months. Luke Harper shows up and brawls with both Rowan and Wyatt until they retreat.

Renee Young interviews The Miz and Maryse. They say John Cena's marriage proposal to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania was the result of them pushing Cena into a corner. They then call out Cena and Nikki, and say that this will be the last time we see them on the blue brand for a very long time.

Naomi retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss with the Slay-O-Mission.

Before the next match, Curt Hawkins talks about "Superstar Shake-up," as he says he should be hearing more about himself rather than said shake-up. He issues an open challenge to anyone in the locker room, and as soon as he says he is giving the count of ten, it is answered on cue by "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger beats Curt Hawkins.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Mojo Rawley, who calls his Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal win a dream come true, and says he and Rob Gronkowski partied hard afterwards. He says winning the battle royal was the best moment of his life and his WrestleMania moment, but he's just getting started. He says this is just the beginning and that its time to "throw some weight on."

The Miz and Maryse show up, dressed like John Cena and Nikki Bella, respectively. The Miz does his imitation of Cena again, as does Maryse with Nikki Bella. They make fun of Cena's marriage proposal to Nikki at WrestleMania, and say they only love themselves. Miz then says he and Maryse are leaving WWE...for Hollywood, and they will be gone for a very long time and the audience won't be able to see them. After Miz says goodbye, a violinist shows up and starts playing. We then see two-time NXT champion, "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura, make his appearance on the main roster.

Baron Corbin beats Dean Ambrose in a Street Fight.

Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up. He talks about the "Superstar Shake-Up" that Vince McMahon mentioned last night, and says that the Raw roster should be praying to be on SmackDown Live as the blue brand is the land of opportunity. Suddenly, AJ Styles shows up, and says he doesn't know what's going, but knows he doesn't want to leave SmackDown Live, calling it "the house that AJ Styles built" and says he'll be damned if anyone takes that from him. He then says he's really here because he owes Shane something. He extends his hand, and Shane immediately shakes it. Styles then threatens to beat Shane up for a second, then leaves on a good note.

Tonight on 205 Live: Austin Aries is in a Fatal 4-Way match to decide a #1 contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship!

Randy Orton and Luke Harper beat Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan when they seemingly see Wyatt and Rowan's mind tricks coming.

On Talking Smack, "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger talks about his debut.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
