Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for April 12, 2017

Maryse and Eva Marie are backstage. Maryse hasn't seen Mike as much lately due to Mike still working on a movie, and wants to do a photo shoot with Eva Marie for fun. Also, Eva Marie asks a few people working backstage what they would like if they had not seen their significant other in some time.

Brie Bella is backstage, on the road with Bryan at Bryan's request. Meanwhile, Trinity brings an idea to Mark Carrano: a glow-in-the-dark entrance. Carrano is on board, but it's not quite time for it yet. He tells Trinity he will keep in touch.

Brie meets up with Bryan backstage. Brie watches Bryan jump rope near the ring as it is being set up.

Renee and Dean are at a vacation home, something that Renee has been wanting to do for three years. Renee is in the moon for romance, but Dean would rather go wakeboarding.

Maryse and Eva Marie go shopping. Eva notices that she is getting along great with Maryse and that she enjoys her company as they try on swimsuits for their photo shoot. Eva Marie comes up with a theme for their photo shoot, and quote Pretty Woman when they see the clothing store that is in that movie.

Nattie, Trinity and Jon Uso talk about Trinity's idea for a glow-in-the-dark entrance. Trinity says creative is willing to give her idea a go, but Nattie says they don't turn the lights out in the arena for just anyone and tells her that she really has to nail the entrance rehearsal if she wants it to become reality.

Maryse and Eva Marie talk about Maryse's juice cleanse on their way to a body wrap. During the massage part, it is described as feeling like having a cactus all over your body, which becomes painfully hilarious for Eva Marie.

Renee cals Nikki at the vacation home. When she is about to spend some romantic time with Dean, she finds out that he has bought a pizza even though she planned to cook dinner. Also, the toppings fall off when he offers her a slice.

Trinity and Jon Uso rehearse the glow-in-the-dark entrance at home, but Trinity feels the wardrobe for it needs work.

While Bryan is reading a book, Brie is trying to get some work of her own done in the hotel room and has to head downstairs for Wi-Fi. Meanwhile, Nikki takes a conference call with a business partner, but Brie is unable to make it and the call has to be rescheduled. Nikki finally gets a call from Brie, who says the hotel she is at has zero Wi-Fi. Nikki gets cross with Brie for not putting as much energy into their projects as she said she was as well as being on the road with Bryan despite being retired from in-ring competition.

At Maryse and Mike's house, Maryse and Eva Marie bring down the supplies for their photo shoot. Maryse goes so far as to bring wooden make-up booths into the SUV they are driving to the site of the shoot.

Renee and Dean go shopping for a button-down shirt and a tie for Dean, since Renee wants to go to a nice restaurant during their vacation.

Maryse and Eva Marie make it to the beach for their photo shoot. The theme for the photo shoot is Baywatch, and as the photo shoot goes on, Eva Maryse notices that Maryse is bossy towards everyone involved in the shoot and is sucking all of the energy out of the shoot on her. Eva almost walks out on the shoot, but Maryse convinces her to stay as she admits she doesn't have the shoot as straightened out as she thought she did, especially since she is hungry and drained of energy from the juice cleanse. Eva and Maryse go get some food before continuing the shoot.

Dean Ambrose finds out dressing up for a nice restaurant isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Maryse has a huge burger and fries at a restaurant. Eva Marie is relieved. They go back to the shoot and finally have fun doing it.

Dean and Renee go to a nice restaurant. Renee realizes that Dean isn't exactly up for what they are doing, and Dean says he is doing this to make Renee happy.

Trinity finally gets to show off her entrance to creative, and wants this to work so she can prove she can make it on her own and without being part of a group.

Nikki and Brie have a chat about Brie's current situation with trying to have a child with Bryan and focusing on their business projects. Nikki feels bad, as Brie is in a holding pattern after having not yet had a child. Even Brie admits that she has put herself in a shaky situation,

Renee and Dean head to a dive bar so the two of them can relax. Renee admits that the idea of going to a fancy restaurant wasn't as romantic as she thought, and it turns out that that place wasn't exactly for them. They realize they can have a romantic place in a place like a dive bar.

Trinity is nervous about her glow-in-the-dark entrance. Nattie tells her that if she can nail it, she can prove that she can be taken seriously.

Trinity tests her glow-in-the dark entrance for creative. As she goes through the steps for it, she gets not one, but two more chances to do the entrance again. Trinity realizes her chances for the entrance to succeed are good.

Brie does a photo shoot with Nikki. She realizes she has to balance work and family or else she's going to lose her mind.

The first live SmackDown takes place. Trinity finally gets to perform her glow-in-the-dark entrance on live television, and the crowd loves it.
