Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 10, 2017

Before the show, it is announced that Apollo Crews has been moved from SmackDown Live to Raw.

Before the show, it is announced that former tag team champions will be moved from SmackDown Live to Raw tonight.

The Miz and Maryse, parodying John Cena and Nikki Bella yet again, make a surprise appearance on Raw to start the show. The last time they were in the ring, they were heading to Hollywood, but Hollywood didn't want them as they are not good actors, hence why they are on Raw right now. Suddenly, they are joined by Dean Ambrose, who brings the WWE Intercontinental Championship from SmackDown Live with him, and he pretends Miz and Maryse are Cena and Nikki, respectively and congratulates them for coming back to Raw and beating Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania. Miz and Maryse has to tell Dean they are Miz and Maryse, then Dean hits Miz with Dirty Deeds.

General Manager Kurt Angle meets with Sami Zayn backstage, and tells him that SmackDown Live has shown a lot of interest in him. Meanwhile, The Miz and Maryse show up, complaining that Raw is no better than SmackDown Live, and Miz tells Sami Zayn to shut up. Sami Zayn dares Miz to show up, and Kurt Angle turns this into a match between the two for later tonight.

The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) show up without Kofi Kingston and have a Kofi blow-up doll in their place. Xavier Woods says that The New Day is holding a job fair, and tells everyone in the back to "come get this work." Xavier then calls out The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) for injuring Kofi.

The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) beat The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) after breaking up The Midnight Hour and putting Xavier Woods in the Shatter Machine after he jumps off the top rope. During the match, it is announced that Kofi Kingston has suffered an ankle injury and will need surgery, and that Kofi will be out for a couple of weeks.

Charly Caruso interviews Neville backstage. Neville proclaims he has proven Austin Aries isn't on his level. Suddenly, TJ Perkins tells Neville to be careful as someone will make him eat those words. Neville admits to Perkins that he may be right, but he may not get another chance at the title as his career has become a joke and that he is the only person with an iota for him. Austin Aries confronts him for his words, but Neville leaves after telling Perkins to believe what he wants to believe, but that only one man can give him a championship opportunity. When Aries asks Perkins if he even believes a word Neville said, a disappointed Perkins says nothing and leaves.

Curt Hawkins is in the ring. As soon as he proclaims he is back on Raw and asks for the welcoming committee, Big Show shows up. It isn't long before Big Show knocks him out.

Neville guests on commentary for the next match.

TJ Perkins beats Austin Aries with a roll-up after he is distracted by Neville outside of the ring. Before the match, it is announced that Austin Aries will take on Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Payback. After the match, Perkins attacks Aries from behind.

Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins says it is great to be back with the fans again, as he never knew if he would be on his own two feet talking to them again. He admits he was hurting after his match against Triple H at WrestleMania, but at the same time, he was at peace. He says that he and the WWE Universe, not just himself, "slayed the King of Kings," and thanks the fans for giving him a second chance. He says WrestleMania is just the beginning, as he has a score to settle with Samoa Joe and wants the WWE Universal Championsip. He may not get those opportunities, however, due to being indirectly responsible for Commissioner Stephanie McMahon going through a table at WrestleMania, and that she will be reminded of that when she sees him. He could go to SmackDown Live and get opportunities there, but he refuses to take the easy way out and says he won't leave Raw without a fight, as Stephanie will need an entire army to move him to Tuesday nights. Enter General Manager Kurt Angle, who gets in the ring and tells him that Stephanie does want him gone, and that he would be gone if they had this conversation two weeks ago. However, Angle saw something in Seth at WrestleMania when he was "the one-legged man who won an ass-kicking contest." He says that Stephanie is entitled to her own opinion, but as long as he is General Manager, Seth will always have a home on Raw. As Angle leaves, Seth is attacked from behind by Samoa Joe, and Angle rushes into the ring to try to stop Joe. He is able to stop him just long enough for Seth Rollins to fight back and superkick Samoa Joe out of the ring.

Charly Caruso interviews Kevin Owens, who says that no matter who gets shifted to Raw, he's ready for it. He also says that Jericho should be glad that he's probably being moved to SmackDown Live, away from him. He also says that as long as Dean Ambrose knows his place and knows that he is the premiere champion on Raw, he won't have a problem with him. He tells Balor to watch himself, because he will be watching.

The Albano family are in the front row due to the Johnsonville Sausage Seat Upgrade.

Nia Jax beats Charlotte. During the match, "The Drifter" Elias Samson is seen walking around in the crowd with his guitar, and Nia Jax kicks out of the Natural Selection.

We see a video package of Finn Balor. He returns to Raw next.

Finn Balor beats Jinder Mahal.

Bray Wyatt is on the TitanTron. He says that Raw is his home now, and that he will beat Randy Orton in their House of Horrors match.

It is announced that Apollo Crews, Kalisto and the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno are all coming to Raw.

Sami Zayn beats The Miz by reversing the Skull Crushing Finale into a roll-up after Maryse tries to grab him by the leg and fails.

It is announced that Dean Ambrose will face Kevin Owens in a Champion vs. Champion Match tonight.

Michael Cole interviews Roman Reigns, who says he has a mix of emotions following his victory against The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He says he has to do what he has to do, and that it is what it is. The interview quickly stops when Roman is attacked by Braun Strowman, who tosses Roman through a table, throws him into a garage door repeatedly and hits him with a running power slam into a metal supply box as officials try to stop Braun in vain. Braun then pushes another metal box into Roman as he is down on the floor against a wall, then Braun finally leaves and a medical team brings a stretcher to the scene of the attack. Even after that, Braun still isn't done, as he pushes the stretcher with Roman on it off a ledge, sending Roman several feet down. Just when the medical team gets Roman into the ambulance, Braun Strowman comes back, punches Roman in the head a few times, then closes the door at the side of the ambulance and topples it over with his bare hands.

After the commercial break, Roman is taken out of the toppled ambulance and moved into another one. The ambulance is able to make it out of the arena.

Sheamus, Cesaro and The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico). Before the match, "The Drifter" Elias Samson is seen near the commentary table. After the match, it is announced that The Hardys will defend the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Sheamus and Cesaro at Payback.

Dana Brooke is reading a book with "How To Be Your Own Protege" when Emma shows up and acts like Dana never stopped being her protege. Dana Brooke makes it clear to Emma that she's no longer her protege and is standing on her own two feet from now on, especially when the Women's Division has gotten better in the past year.

Sasha Banks shows up. She says she is here to take care of some unfinished business, then introduces Bayley as "just Bayley" to the crowd. Bayley thanks the crowd for all their support since day one, as without them, she would not have had her WrestleMania moment. Sasha congratulates Bayley, but tells her her moment is over. Before she can challenge her for the Raw Women's title, they are both suddenly joined by Alexa Bliss. As Alexa calls what's going on in the ring "nauseating" and says she wants to be a champion on Raw, Mickie James shows up, makes it clear she wants to rule the roost on the red brand and tells Alexa Bliss her misfortunes with her aren't over yet. All of a sudden, Mickie is attacked from behind by Nia Jax, who proceeds to plow through everyone else in the ring and take out Bayley. Nia Jax then stares down with Alexa Bliss, who is the only other person left standing, then leaves.

Tomorrow night on 205 Live: TJ Perkins vs. "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher!

It is reported that Roman Reigns has suffered cracked ribs and a separated shoulder after the attack from earlier tonight, and that Braun Strowman has been removed from the arena.

Dean Ambrose beats Kevin Owens in a Champion vs. Champion match. After the match, Chris Jericho shows up and hits Owens with a Codebreaker when he gets in the ring.

After the show, it is announced that Byron Saxton is being moved over to SmackDown Live, while David Otunga will be moved over to Raw.
