Ethan Carter III shows up. He has a message for the new regime in Impact Wrestling: he has carried the company on his back for three years, and demands respect. He says he took Bruce Prichard's advice, looked in the mirror, and saw a demigod who ran roughshod in the company and was undefeated for the better part of two years. He tells everyone in the locker room that he will destroy them and send them to the glory hole from which they came. As for the fans, anyone who said they liked him better as a heel can kiss his "privileged, perfectly round, ass." He tells Lashley that he will take the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship from him, and then tells "The Cowboy" James Storm that he is "an overrated piece of crap" who harkens back to a past that he destroyed. Storm shows up, and EC3 rolls out of the ring. Storm says he doesn't blame him at all for what he did last week, as EC3 is just jealous. Storm admits he was out of the World title picture for a long time, simply because he wanted upstart punks to make a name for themselves at Impact and says he can beat EC3's ass anytime he wants. He also says cowboys don't dance, they just boogie. He says he's not drunk right now, and EC3's not pretty. Storm considers him "fugly," and says that if he wants to dance, to get in the ring, because his family won't protect him anymore. EC3 says this isn't happening, and as EC3 leaves, Storm says "How about instead of calling it 'EC3,' we call it 'E-C-Bitch.'" This starts a brawl which ends with a One Percenter to Storm after EC3 uses a producer as a human shield. After the brawl, EC3 says "Sorry, Cowboy...but I'm a Carter. And this company...needs me."
