A man in a white and black mask is seen watching from a luxury box. That man is identified by Tony Schiavone as none other than Sting. (Sting's face paint, now black and white and harlequin-like in nature, is now dramatically different from what he is known for wearing.) The nWo contingent is then seen carrying signs in the crowd, and Syxx speaks from the crowd to welcome everyone to "nWo Nitro." Juventud Guerrera and Lord Steven Regal are incensed by this turn of events as Syxx says the nWo has the World title, the US title (albeit unofficially), and when he's finished, the Cruiserweight title. (Ironically, he fails to mention the tag titles, which Kevin Nash and Scott Hall won last night.) He tells Sting to make the right choice and don't listen to anybody else before saying "nWo 4 Life." (It should also be noted that future WWE announcer Justin Roberts is seen standing directly in front of Syxx while wearing a backwards white baseball cap.)
"Lord" Steven Regal retains the WCW World Television Championship by submission against Juventud Guerrera. Tony Schiavone almost interviews Regal after the match but cannot due to the commercial break, and Sting leaves as Schiavone is talking.
The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) advertise the white WCW Monday Nitro T-shirt: just $19.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Mike Enos. During the match, The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) are seen in the crowd holding up the WCW World Tag Team Championships that they won last night.
A.C. Green of the Phoenix Suns is seen in the crowd. To the commentary team's dismay, he is wearing a New World Order shirt.
Dean Malenko beats Jim Powers after referee Nick Patrick's neck hurts as Powers pins Malenko, causing Theodore Long to argue with Nick Patrick. Patrick accuses Long of not being in his corner when Long argues with him this time. During the match, Psychosis is seen watching the match from the top of the entrance ramp, having come back from an injury he suffered at the hands of Konnan.
In the November issue of WCW Magazine: Find out where The Giant's loyalty really lies in an exclusive interview! An interview with Konnan! Exclusive photos from Clash of the Champions!
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) vs The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian)! Chris Jericho vs. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit! Jimmy Graffiti! Big Bubba! The Taskmaster!
Jeff Jarrett beats Ricky Morton with the Figure Four Leg Lock. The Giant is seen in the crowd after the match, and he says he could huff and puff and blow Nitro down, but he's not going to. He tells Jarrett that The Four Horsemen passed him a wet match instead of a torch, and that he had him in the choke slam until "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair saved him. He calls The Horsemen pathetic for banding together like a pack of rats, and says that they are afraid and that they fight scared, walk scared and are scared. He tells Jarrett his day is coming, and that someday, somewhere, his hand will go around Jarrett throat and he will choke slam him. He also threatens to take out The Horsemen systematically if they get in his way again. He tells everyone to check their bed and closet and say their prayers when they go to bed as there is a monster behind their back. Tony Schiavone interviews Jarrett after the match, and if The Giant wants to get it over with, he can do it right now and they can finish it. He said he had Halloween Havoc to style and profile, and that The Giant wouldn't be able to choke slam him...and he didn't. He tells the nWo they will come down and their walls will crumble, but for that to happen, WCW had to unite. He did not know there would be a bunch of groups and cliques going at each others' throats, and tells Sting that if he doesn't want to be the leader, he'll be more than happy to be the leader. Jarrett goes on to say he's a third-generation wrestler and more to lose than anybody, and promises that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan will fall. He says WCW has been around since 1905 and will continue to be around for a long, long time.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour. It is then announced that "Macho Man" Randy Savage is not in the building tonight after the attack he received at Halloween Havoc.
High Voltage (Ronnie Rage and Kenny Khaos) vs. The Amazing French Canadians (Jacques Rougeau and Carl Ouellet) comes to an end after The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) attack both teams. Sags calls their potential nWo membership "a big Hollywood Hogan lie." He says that The Nasty Boys don't need to belong anywhere, and say the same of both Sting and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Knobbs says they may not be liked or even wanted, but they are nasty and were nasty before The New World Order and even World Championship Wrestling were a thought, and goes on to say they were born nasty. Knobbs tells "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan it feels good with the knife sticking out of his back, and says Kevin Nash and Scott Hall fogged up his brain a little. He then says The Nasty Boys are ready to rumble.
Rey Mysterio, Jr. beats Jimmy Graffiti. It is announced that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has asked WCW for and received five minutes to send a message to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, and that we will see that message later tonight.
The New World Order is now available for only $15!
Lee Marhsal calls from Grand Rapids, Michigan - where next week's Nitro - will take place as part of the 1-800-COLLECT Road Report.
A.C. Green of the Phoenix Suns is seen in the front row again, and this time he has a war of wards with referee Nick Patrick. (He is also seen giving Booker T and Sister Sherri a hard time during the main event.)
Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Debra McMichael show up during the next match, and Mongo says he's here to ensure that "there are no more slip-ups around here." We then see pre-recorded comments from Jimmy Hart and The Taskmaster, who say that Taskmaster sent him and The Faces of Fear to destroy what was left of The Four Horsemen and that The Dungeon of Doom has succeeded at that and is alive and well. The Taskmaster tells "The Crippler" Chris Benoit learned that "woman was the ultimate destruction of us all." He tells Benoit that he owns something that will stay his because he is "the man."
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Eddie Guerrero in a match where both men are not at 100% after the events of Halloween Havoc after Steve "Mongo" McMichael hits Guerrero with the Halliburton briefcase as Woman distracts referee Nick Patrick. Tony Schiavone interviews referee Nick Patrick, who is joined by his attorney Allen Sharp. Sharp wants all questions directed towards him "before you, Mr. Schiavone, can distort the truth." Sharp says that Patrick has been an honest, hard-working official and referee and has given his all to the professionalism of this great sport. He says that all the controversy of "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan didn't have to have to happen, all because of one person: Chris Jericho, who allegedly brutally and viciously attacked Nick Patrick. Jericho shows up in street clothes and says there is nothing wrong with Patrick's neck, and everyone knows he is a paid employee of The New World Order. Sharp asks Jericho if he has anger problems, but Jericho tells Sharp to stay out of it, and tells Patrick he will not forget how he screwed him out of a victory against Syxx. Sharp asks Jericho if he ever had problems playing with other children when he was young, and tells him professional counseling will be in order. Theodore Long shows up and tells Sharp where he comes from, they call people like him "scam artists" and that if Sharp didn't have a degree, he'd be standing on a corner with a squeegee in his hand begging for quarters to wash windows. He tells Sharp that Nick Patrick is sandbagging and that Jericho is a young star in the making that Patrick is holding back. Sharp says he is surprised that Theodore Long has the gall and audacity to question him in front of millions of people all over the world, and says this is called "slander." Sharp threatens to bury him so deep in legal paperwork that he won't be able to get out of it.
We see pre-recorded comments from Col. Robert Parker, who says that there is no problems between himself and Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray), and if it was his fault that The Outsiders became WCW World Tag Team Champions, he'd take care of the problem in a snap.
As Lex Luger is facing Booker T, Lex Luger sees Sting in the stands. It is clear that Sting is not a happy man, and Lex Luger jumps into the stands to find Sting. Sting leaves as Luger finds him. Booker T beats Lex Luger by count-out.
We see a repeat of the conversation between "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper from when Halloween Havoc came to an end. Ted DiBiase, The Giant, Vince and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up to respond to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Eric Bischoff says that is footage from after Halloween Havoc, and that he will try to bring it to the home audience. Hogan says he came through for the nWo at Halloween Havoc, and that there is no doubt that the nWo is the only body that is the superior body in the professional wrestling business. He says the nWo has conquered and won. He tells "Macho Man" Randy Savage that he has nothing but the utmost respect for him, as the cross to bear of the whole WCW was put on his back last night, and with all the powers in Savage's Slim Jim, he couldn't get the job done. He also tells Savage he'll take really good care of Miss Elizabeth for him. He says that Piper admitted that he looked up to him and admitted he couldn't lace up his boots. He saw the fear in his eyes, and calls Piper turning tail "the best decision of his life." Ted DiBiase then announces that with the foundation of the nWo firmly established, tonight is the night for Hogan to entertain for the nWo loyals. Hogan then poses for the crowd to end the show.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 28, 1996
Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 28, 1996
We see pictures of "Double J" Jesse James serving the United States military in Operation Desert Storm before the opening bout. It is announced that Brian Pillman will have to undergo another ankle reconstruction at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio as the result of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin injuring his ankle on last weekend's Superstars.
"Double J" Jesse James beats Salvatore Sincere.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin interrupts Dok Hendrix as he talks about the WWF Hall of Fame Ceremony on November 16th. The Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match-up for this year is announced: Team Helmsley (Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Crush, Goldust, Jerry "The King" Lawler) vs. Team Mero ("Wildman" Marc Mero, The Stalker, Mark Henry and "the WWF rookie" Rocky Maivia). "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is finally taking on Bret "The Hit Man" Hart that night, and Austin interrupts once again to express disapproval of Hart being live from his home in Calgary as well as to tell Hart that he will whip his ass.
Crush beats "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya. During the match, Vince McMahon interviews "Wildman" Marc Mero via telephone, and Mero is irritated with what happened last week and wants to get his hands on Mr. Perfect. He tells Hunter Hearst Helmsley that he is the hunted and that he has a team and that Hunter has a team. He says that the crowd will feel sorry for Helmsley at Survivor Series. He tells Jerry "The King" Lawler to watch it, or else he'll find out how many Whoppers will fit in his fat head. He then says that Mr. Perfect and Hunter Hearst Helmsley's days in the WWF are numbered. Jim Ross also joins in on commentary during this match, and announces that Faarooq Asaad has considered a lawsuit against Ahmed Johnson, and that Faarooq has retained Clarence Mason as both his lawyer and his new manager. It is announced that Faarooq - and Clarence Mason - will be on Livewire this weekend. After the match, Crush takes offense to the "Jailbird" signs in the crowd and grabs a security guard out of the crowd before beating him up. Officials rush in to keep Crush off the guy and Clarence Mason has to hold him back.
We see Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Mr. Perfect celebrate in the back after last week's show prior to Mr. Perfect being suspended from in-ring action indefinitely.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin - live from WWF Studios - tells Vince McMahon to stop jerking him around and takes offense to being cut off in favor of the commercial break.
Mr. Perfect beats Phineas I. Godwinn in the first round of the Karate Fighters tournament with the tried-and-true distraction technique.
Next week: Brian Pillman will be live from his home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once again, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin takes offense to this as well, saying they should be going to his house in Victoria, Texas as well. He says if Pillman will be in Cincinnati next week, so will he. As we look back on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being interviewed by Brian Pillman and the resulting attack, Steve Austin defends his actions by saying Pillman was turning his interview time into Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's interview time. He also says that they should have taken Pillman to the cemetary, as that is where will Pillman will go if he comes back. He says he has to do what he's got to do after being jerked around, and says Brian Pillman forgot DTA - "don't trust anybody" - and now he's still a crippled man. He says it's his time, not Pillman's, and that WWF President Gorilla Monsoon as well as Vince McMahon - whom he calls "The Boss" - know that he and Hart will have the biggest match of the decade and that Vince doesn't want to miss out. He knows he'll make a lot of money from this much, but he'd just as well kick his ass for free.
The interview between Bret "The Hit Man" Hart - live from his home in Calgary, Alberta, Calgary - and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - live from WWF Studios - is postponed as Sunny guests on commentary before the next match.
Bart Gunn shows up during Billy Gunn vs. Freddie Joe Floyd, daring him to get in the ring with him. Bart Gunn is escorted to the back by officials.
Billy Gunn beats Freddie Joe Floyd.
The interview between Bret "The Hit Man" Hart - live from his home in Calgary, Alberta, Calgary - and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - live from WWF Studios - finally happens. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart says he's grown up around wrestling his entire life, and he's taken 12 years without much of a break and it has taken its toll. He states that Austin is a great wrestler, and that Austin has nothing to do with his stepping back from wrestling. Austin isn't convinced, and Hart tells Austin he should think twice about kicking his ass as he's better now than he's ever been. He says he may have a little ring rust, but he wants to accomplish a lot of things in the WWF right now and start by taking on Austin, saying he's the best in the WWF right now until he returns at Survivor Series. Hart says he is willing to accept whatever happens in his match with Austin, and if he loses, he'll dust himself off and keep going. Austin tells him it won't be over win, lose or draw, and that Hart will have to kill him to end it. When the interview ends, Austin throws a production assistant into a ladder and destroys a monitor.
Owen Hart guests on commentary for the next match as Austin gives a security guard in the studio a very hard time.
It is announced that Raw airs one hour earlier next week, as Brian Pillman is interviewed live in his home in Cincinnati, Ohio and "Wildman" Marc Mero takes on "Razor Ramon."
During the main event, it is announced that the police have been called to WWF Studios by the recently accosted security guard as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin continues to raise hell over there.
WWF Full Metal: The Album is available at K-Mart and record stores everywhere as we see "Classy" Freddy Blassie and a kid imitating WWF Superstars in a recording studio.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. The British Bulldog ends when Owen Hart interferes by grabbing Shawn's leg as he readies Sweet Chin Music. Sycho Sid shows up and takes Owen Hart out of the occasion, but accidentally elbows Michaels in the back. When Michaels confronts Sid, both men go at it. Owen Hart tells Sid and Shawn that if they can't take themselves away from each other, he and The British Bulldog can challenge them and put the tag team titles on the line if they have the guts to fight them. Shawn and Sid love the idea, and the challenge is immediately accepted. The show ends with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being surrounded by police officers as he leaves WWF Studios.
"Double J" Jesse James beats Salvatore Sincere.

Halloween Havoc 1996 - The Results
Dean Malenko beats Rey Mysterio Jr. - who gets his mask back from Malenko during the match - to become the WCW Cruiserweight Champion for a second time!
Lee Marshal interviews Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett says he could go on all night about himself and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, but he tells The New World Order that they do not impress him and that he hasn't seen them do much of anything inside the ring. He tells The Giant he won't be able to choke slam him. Flair shows up, saying he's here to support Jarrett and "orchestrate the meet and greet," as a line of women a mile long want to kiss him and Jarrett after The Giant loses. Flair tells "Macho Man" Randy Savage that he and WCW will walk the aisle, style and profile before he takes "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan down tonight.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Eddie Guerrero to retain the Battlebowl ring.
Mike Tenay and "Macho Man" Randy Savage announce the grand prize winner of the Slim Jim Sweepstakes and the monster truck: Joan Michalek of Romulus, Michigan.
It is announced that an audio simulcast of Halloween Havoc can be heard on WCWwrestling.com. Meanwhile, Chris Jericho chats with fans on Compuserve. Fans can join in by typing "go convention."
Mike Tenay interviews Dean Malenko. A month ago, he told everyone that he would be more focused than ever at Las Vegas and that he would not leave without the Cruiserweight Championship. If anyone wants a shot, they can take a ticket, wait in line and then have at it. He says he will take on all comers and that the Cruiserweight Championship will stay around his waist.
Ted DiBiase and The Giant are in the crowd. DiBiase says "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair made a big mistake for not joining The New World Order. DiBiase says Flair is not smart and calls him "a total flair." DiBiase tells Jeff Jarrett is a total fool for taking on The Giant for the "nWo United States Championship," which is the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship as well as the title that The Giant holds in his hands. Giant says he will stick Jarrett to the wall, the floor and the ceiling before choke slamming him in the middle of the ring. He says that there will be no Jarrett and no Horsemen before this is all said and done, and that everyone will be heading to the glue factory. The Giant then heads to the ring.
The Giant beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair hits The Giant with a low blow in full view of referee Nick Patrick. The rest of The Four Horsemen ("The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) rush into the ring and stand tall in the ring with Flair and Jarrett.
Ted DiBiase is in the crowd again, this time with Vincent and Syxx. He says The Giant got one win for The New World Order and that they'll take wins any way they can get them. He says that Chris Jericho is next, and while Jericho is a great athlete, he's at the right place at the wrong time and he's going to get better by facing the best and that he will be doing that when he gets in the ring with Syxx. Syxx tells Jericho he is a fine athlete, but tonight, he will be crucified for the sins of WCW. He says that the Cruiserweight title will be in the hands of the nWo, and that the nWo is "4 life." DiBiase says that if the New World Order says it, you can take it to the bank. Syxx then heads to the ring.
Konnan, Big Bubba and The Taskmaster are seen in the front row.
Syxx beats Chris Jericho when it becomes readily apparent to commentary that referee Nick Patrick is counting faster for nWo wrestlers than for WCW wrestlers and is using his neck break as a front. Apparently this becomes apparent to Jericho, who chases Patrick out of the ring. Patrick then helps Syxx to the back, and Syxx puts his shoulder around Patrick's neck.
Mike Tenay interviews Lex Luger. He says it didn't have to come to this, but since "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson wants to point fingers at him for costing WCW War Games, throw down the gauntlet and question everything he stands for, he is coming unglued and ready to make a stand for WCW, and Anderson will see a side of him that Anderson doesn't want to see. He promises to not just beat Anderson, but put him in the Torture Rack as well.
Lex Luger beats "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson after using a steel chair that Anderson pulls out against him and putting him in the Torture Rack. It becomes apparent after the match that Anderson is legitimately hurt. Jeff Jarrett and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair show up after the match to check on Anderson, and Anderson has to pushed out on a gurney.
Lee Marshal says that to find out what's going on with Sting, call the WCW Hotline at 1-900-909-9900. He then interviews Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray), Sister Sherri and Col. Robert Parker. He says that Harlem Heat is ready, and that he has never seen anyone like The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash), who he says needs a stern reprimanding tonight. Sherri says this will be Harlem Heat's day, as the tag team titles are what they eat, sleep and breathe for, and that The Outsiders will find out what Harlem Heat is made of. Booker T calls The Outsiders "a couple of wanna-be thugs" who are going to be whupped Harlem style, and Stevie Ray says that if they want some, they'll be waiting in the ring.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Steve "Mongo" McMichael beat The Faces of Feat (Meng and The Barbarian) after Mongo hits Meng with the Halliburton briefcase. After the match, a brawl starts between The Horsemen and The Dungeon of Doom as Konnan grabs Woman and The Taskmaster and Big Bubba also get involved. The Dungeon comes out on top as The Taskmaster hits Mongo with his own briefcase and Benoit falls victim to the numbers game. Jimmy Hart tells Woman "If you had called him out like you were supposed to, this wouldn't be taking place" and The Taskmaster tells Woman "I'm still the man" as he kicks Benoit in the gut as he is down.
Ted DiBiase is in the crowd again, this time with Vincent. He says that The New World Order has won two matches, and there are two to go. He says the WCW World Tag Team Championships will be the nWo World Tag Team Championships, and tells Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) that there is nothing they can do about what The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash), and says that The New World Order has always gotten it done the first time and that they will continue to do so. The Outsiders then head to the ring through the "nWo entrance" in the stands.
The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) to become the WCW World Tag Team Champions after Kevin Nash forces Col. Robert Parker to give him his cane so he can smack it repeatedly into the back of Stevie Ray and allow Hall to cover Stevie Ray.
World War 3 is coming live to pay-per-view Sunday, November 24th!
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan is in the crowd with Ted DiBiase and The Giant with his Duke Dragon haircut from the new 3 Ninjas, and announces that his new movie "Santa With Muscles" will open in theatres on November 8th. He says he's gotten tired of body slamming Hollywood this week, so he's come back to body slam "a long-lost lovesick puppy named the Macho Man." He then heads to the ring. It is announced that The Outsiders have been escorted out of the building due to a confrontation backstage with Doug Dillinger and WCW personnel.
The "Macho Man" monster truck shows up before the main event as "Macho Man" Randy Savage makes his way to the ring for the main event. Savage then tells "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan to get The Giant and Ted DiBiase out of the ring so he can kick his ass. It is noted that Miss Elizabeth is missing and has not been seen at the beginning of the match.
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against "Macho Man" Randy Savage. During the match, we find out that Hogan's shorter spiked haircut is fake and his real hair is hidden underneath when Savage rips it off. Also, Miss Elizabeth shows up and watches from a neutral corner, and referee Randy Anderson is knocked out and Nick Patrick takes his place, which proves disastrous as he nearly costs Savage the match due to his neck pains. When Nick Patrick is taken down by Savage, Savage takes a foreign object that is initially handed to Miss Elizabeth to use against Savage (which backfired) and uses it against Hogan. The Giant comes back and takes advantage of the situation by choke slamming Savage outside of the ring and placing Hogan on top of Savage for the win. After the match, The Giant comes back with a bowl full of ice water and wakes up Hogan with it, and Savage is helped to the back. Hogan then asks the crowd if there is any question who the real king of Hollywood is. He says he is tired of Ted Turner and is taking over WCW, and anyone who gets in the ring with him is going down. He tells "the nWo-ites" that they definitely caught the right train, as they're heading out of town. Suddenly, bagpipe music plays, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper shows up out of nowhere. Hogan and The Giant can't believe it as Piper gets in the ring. Piper pulls a microphone out of his jacket, and tells Hogan "Don't even think about it." He tells Hogan he's here to break his monotony, and then tells The Giant to go straight to the back. Hogan tells Piper that when he said he made, own and control wrestling, he remembers that he ran neck and neck with Piper. Piper says he's not here to represent any groups, though he can be an SOB when he wants to be. Piper tells Hogan that he is here to give him a reality check, as he is just a big an icon in professional wrestling and as big a Hollywood star as Hogan himself. He talks about how he started fighting when he was 15, has 6,000 professional wrestling matches and has gotten shot three times. He asks Hogan where he was when he was 15 years old and taking all comers in a garage. Hogan says he will call a spade a spade, and say that they both ran together and that he has no problem with him. He asks Hogan that if he hadn't knocked out Mr. T, took on the New York Police Department, chased Dick Clark back, had his way with Liberace and got hated so much, would the people cheer for him? He tells Hogan that he has been the one guy he has never been able to beat, and he will admit that he was as big an icon as him, and that he should have the guts to at least shake his hand and admits it wasn't just him that brought all these people here as all these people here made him. Hogan says to Piper that they have had wars to settle the score that didn't get settled, and that he thought Piper went back to his family. Now that Hogan sees Piper, he admits Piper is just as big a star as he is. Hogan and Piper shake hands, and Piper tells Hogan to straighten up. As Piper leaves, Hogan tells him that on the way out, he's "supposed to squat in that one" when he goes to the bathroom. Piper gets back in the ring, and Hogan tells Piper that he's messing with him and the nWo, and when he steps back into his world, he still has the make-up on his face and now that he looks in his eyes, he thinks that they need to have the war that didn't settle the score. Piper tells Hogan he's the reason he has no hair. Hogan tells Piper his day is coming. Hogan and The Giant are about to leave when Piper says he's not finished and he puts his hands on the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He hands the title back to Hogan as he continues to speak to Hogan, and as he does, the show ends.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 21, 1996
Syxx and "Sting" of The New World Order are seen in the crowd before the first match, and Syxx is carrying a handheld camcorder for some scouting work for the nWo.
Chris Jericho beats Bobby Eaton. Eaton raises Jericho's hand in victory after the match. Tony Schiavone then interviews Jericho, who says it is a coincidence that Syxx is watching because Halloween Havoc is in six days and that he's going to give The New World Order their first loss when Jericho beats Syxx on Sunday night.
We see a video package of Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Dean Malenko beats the debuting Jimmy Graffiti with the Texas Cloverleaf. (Jimmy Graffiti is better known as Jimmy Del Rey of the 1990s incarnation of The Heavenly Bodies from Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation.)
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Dean Malenko! Jeff Jarrett! Big Ron Studd! "The Crippler" Chris Benoit! The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian)! Eddie Guerrero! Another segment from The New World Order featuring The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash)!
Diamond Dallas Page beats Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman after Theodore Long accidentally distracts referee Nick Patrick as Pittman has the Code Red locked on Page. Patrick tells Long he's the reason Pittman lost the match. When Tony Schiavone interviews Patrick, he says that he would have been better able to pay attention if Long wasn't on the rope and insists that Randy Anderson is the man behind the mask as The New World Order's referee.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair makes his way to the ring in street clothes, and Randy Anderson helps Flair into the ring. Flair asks Jarrett to do the strut, and he does. Flair has Randy take his jacket off, then Flair does a strut of his own. Jarrett does his strut again, then Flair does his again. Both men stare down, then Anderson stares down Jarrett before shaking his hand and leaving.
Jeff Jarrett beats Big Ron Studd with the Figure Four Leg Lock after putting the seven-foot-tall Studd in a vertical suplex. Tony Schiavone interviews Jarrett after the match, and Jarrett says it's time to put up or shut up and that it's time for WCW to start playing some offense and start being the hunters instead of the hunted. He tells The Giant he's got a big bullseye right on his leg, and says that while The Giant has choke slammed them all, he hasn't choke slammed Jarrett. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair tells The New World Order that he sat at home last night and talk good about him, and in this business, men don't cry or ask for forgiveness and just keep on keepin' on. He also says that the best wrestlers get so good at what they do in life that they take everything for granted, and tips his hat off to The New World Order for outsmarting the Four Horsemen and played the game dirtier. He tells the nWo they've won for now, but on Sunday, he will be in Jarrett's corner and that he can't wait for the day to share the ring with Jarrett and kick the nWo's ass. As Flair speaks, The Giant is seen in the crowd.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Lex Luger beats Road Block with the Torture Rack after three attempts. During the match, we see some pre-recorded comments from "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, who tells Lex Luger that time is running out on him and that Luger will tell him "I quit" at Halloween Havoc.
Lee Marshal calls from Phoenix, Arizona, where next week's Nitro will take place as part of the 1-800-COLLECT Road Report.
Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) barely beats The American Males (Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs) after Booker T hits a Harlem Side Kick on Riggs after Riggs punches Col. Robert Parker. Bagwell tries to break up the pinfall, but he is too late. During the match, Eric Bischoff apologizes to "Macho Man" Randy Savage and his family for showing Savage the video of Miss Elizabeth as he did last week, telling Savage that his intentions were good and that he did not mean to hurt him. Also, The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) are spotted in the crowd, recording the match with a handheld camcorder while wearing Breathe-Right strips to mock Harlem Heat. After the match, it is announced that "Sting" has been spotted in the building.
The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) beat The Fantastics (Tommy Rodgers and Bobby Fulton). During the match, Eric Bischoff claims to have video footage of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan that shows what kind of manipulative person he is, and if "Macho Man" Randy Savage wants to see it, he'll show it to him. It is also announced that "Sting" is indeed in the building and that The New World Order have bought some airtime, but Bischoff says that the New World Order is going to get a surprise.
The New World Order - minus "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan - shows up and jumps the guardrail before the beginning of the next match.
"Sting" almost beats Mr. J.L. with the Scorpion Death Lock...but the real sting shows up in all black clothes and an all-white mask with black lines running down the center of his eyes. Sting puts the faker in a reverse DDT before hitting several elbow drops and a Stinger Splash to the back before putting the faker in a Scorpion Death Lock. The New World Order get in the ring, but Sting sees them coming and the real Sting takes the fake Sting out of the Scorpion Death Lock. The New World Order welcome him to their ranks, saying they could use a man like him and that if he joins them, he will be like family to them. Scott Hall asks Sting what he has to show for carrying the WCW banner for nine years, and tell him that if WCW wants him to "stick it," and that with him, there is no stopping the nWo. Sting takes the microphone, mocks the fake Sting, then tells them that he may or may not be in their price range and that the only sure thing about Sting is that nothing's for sure. He then leaves, putting his future further into question. Before the commercial break, Eric Bischoff finds out that "Macho Man" Randy Savage is in the building and immediately starts looking for him.
"Macho Man" Randy shows up for his match against "The Crippler" Chris Benoit in all-black street clothes. Eric Bischoff shows up and immediately apologizes for showing him the video of Miss Elizabeth last week, and shows him the footage of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan that he claims to have. We see Hogan on the set of the new 3 Ninjas movie, where The New World Order takes over the set with The Giant as director. We see Hulk Hogan try to get Miss Elizabeth to get Savage to believe that she still loves him. Elizabeth is taken to Hogan's trailer, and Hulk tells Elizabeth she has one more chance to do as he wants. We all find out that The New World Order have a plan to destroy the Macho Man. Savage is stone-faced, and he almost heads back to the back but walks back to Bischoff and says it just occurred to him how fragile friendships and relationship can be, and that he and Bischoff both know how fragile business can be. He says that even marriage is fragile, then he tells Hogan life is also fragile. He walks to the back, and the show is over.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 21, 1996
On Option 6 of the WWF Superstar Line: Jim Ross explains why Sycho Sid will become the next WWF Champion.
Sycho Sid beats Owen Hart by disqualification after The British Bulldog interferes. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels rushes into the ring and helps Sid clean house. Sid shakes Shawn's hand, and Shawn tells him he would do the same thing for him.
We see a recap of the Buried Alive match between Mankind and The Undertaker from last night. The man in black that attacked The Undertaker from last night is identified as "The Executioner."
Jim Ross joins in on commentary for the next match.
The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) beat The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn).
Pat Patterson, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and Vincent J. McMahon are announced as inductees of the 1996 Class of the WWF Hall of Fame.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley attacks Mr. Perfect backstage by wheeling an equipment crate into the back of Perfect's leg.
The WWF's Big Bang Boom Tour is heading to Cincinnati, Ohio; Evansville, Indiana; Springfield, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; St Louis, Missouri; Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Richmond, Virginia!
Jim Ross interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in Hart's first appearance on WWF programming in six months. He says that for the past couple of weeks or more, he's had to deal with a lot of things such as a rival wrestling organization making him a great offer to jump ship. Hart says he's not greedy for money, he's greedy for respect, and after a lot of soul searching, he owes everything he's done and everything he ever will do to the WWF fans. WWF Superstars (one of whom is Rocky Maivia, interestingly enough, who isn't debuting for another five weeks) watch from the back as Hart says that he will be with the WWF forever. As for why he left in the first place, he says that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beat him for the WWF Championship and he has no excuses, and he considers Shawn his opponent, not his enemy. He does say that there is something about Shawn that bugs him, and says that while Shawn may be a little younger, a little more popular and maybe even cuter than he is and that he has done a great job as WWF Champion, he says Shawn will never be as tough and as smart as him. He accepts the challenge of the best wrestler in the WWF today, and at Survivor Series, he will face "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. (This causes Brian Pillman to visibly celebrate, which causes "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to look back and give Pillman the thousand-yard stare as if Pillman is acting a fool.) Bret says he may be a little rusty, but maybe he isn't, but he says that Madison Square Garden isn't a church, but it's holy ground, and they'll see who kicks whose ass that night. Since he's been off, he's thought about a lot of things, and knows he has some of the best fans in the world and it is something he takes quite seriously as a role model. He says the one thing missing from the WWF the last five or six months is him, and that he's coming back because it wouldn't be fun not to take advantage of the opportunity not to. Bret talks about how he went to the bedside of a very sick child and how he came out of his illness when he told him that he would come out of retirement if he could turn the corner. The child got better, but unfortunately he passed away not long after. That child was his nephew. From that day on, he decided to come back and give people someone to look up to, and while he can't dance or pose very well for "girly mags," he's the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Jerry "The King" Lawler and Todd Pettengill host the first annual Karate Fighters Holiday Tournament. Lawler is disqualified from the tournament after the "taped foot" incident from last year. The first round consists of Bob Backlund vs. Sunny; Dok Hendrix vs. Sable; Sycho Sid vs. Marlena and Mr. Perfect vs. Henry O. Godwinn. Pettengill and Lawler have a Karate Fighters match, which Lawler wins clean.
Mr. Perfect comes to the ring for his match against Hunter Hearst Helmsley with "Wildman" Marc Mero, Sable and WWF President Gorilla Monsoon. Perfect calls out Hunter Hearst Helmsley for injuring him to the point that he can't wrestle tonight. Helmsley calls Perfect a chicken, and Perfect says that Mero is a stand-up guy and has offered to wrestle Helmsley in his place. Helmsley says he is not under contract and not obligated to face Mero, and says the only way he'll face him is if the WWF Intercontinental Championship is on the line. After Mero agrees to defend the belt to return the favor to Perfect for helping him and Helmsley agrees to the match, Gorilla says that the match is on. Mr. Perfect guests on commentary for the next match.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats "Wildman" Marc Mero after Hunter Hearst Helmsley grabs a chair after pushing the referee into Marc Mero and knocking the referee down. Sable grabs the chair, but Mr. Perfect grabs the chair from Helmsley. Just when it is believed that Perfect will hit Helmsley with the chair while the ref is down, he hits Mero with it as he gets back up. After the match, it is revealed that it was all a hoax and that Perfect was in cahoots with Helmsley, and that he did all this to help Helmsley get the Intercontinental title. During the match, it is announced that Ahmed Johnson has been temporarily suspended from the World Wrestling Federation, and that more info will be available this weekend on Livewire.
