Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 6, 2022

Juice Robinson beats Raj Singh in the BTI match after David Finaly stops Rohit Raju from interfering in the match.

Tasha Steelz, Lady Frost and Chelsea Green beat Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering and Rosemary in a six-woman tag match.

We see a video package for W. Morrissey vs. Matt Cardona vs. Moose for the Impact World Championship at Hard To Kill.

We hear from Moose, who says that he has pissed off his opponents and made them more dangerous and that he has done some horrible things to get to where he is, he will do horrible things in order to keep the World Championship. He says he has heard about how his opponents must win the title, but he looks forward to beating them, as he will prove that he is the greatest World Champion.

We see a trailer for the upcoming movie The Free Fall, which is the sponsor for Hard To Kill.

Jonah beats Jake Something. After the match, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander runs into the ring and brawls with Jonah. When Alexander goes for the ankle lock, security tries top break up the brawl, but Jonah lays them out and lays out Alexander before pulling a table out from underneath the ring. Jonah rams Alexander into the corner multiple times with the table when Alexander grabs hold of it, then sets the table up, places Alexander on it, goes up to the top rope and splashes Alexander through the table.

We see a video package for Deonna Purrazzo vs. Mickie James in a Texas Death Match for the Impact World Knockouts Championship at Hard To Kill.

Masha Slamovich quickly beats Sandra Moone in her official Impact Wrestling debut.

We hear from Steve Maclin backstage. He says Trey Miguel has yet to beat him and Scott D'Amore said no to him, but he took things into his hand and Gail Kim made the mistake of making the match happen. Gail Kim shows up and adds a caveat: if Maclin loses at Hard To Kill, he cannot challenge for the X Division Championship as long as Trey is champion.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green says she is fine and that this is not the first time she has been hit hard, but she is worried what happened in the contract signing will affect Matt Cardona at Hard To Kill, and does not want it to hang over his head. She also says that Moose engineered what happened and got what he wanted. Cardona says he agrees and says Moose wants to get into his head and do anything to stay World Champion, but he will do anything to win the World Championship. Chelsea says that Moose knows Cardona might become the next World Champion, and while the critics do not bother Cardona, they bother her, and if the critics knew what she knew, they would not call him an underdog. Chelsea says that Matt Cardona will become the next Impact World Champion.

Mickie James guests on commentary for the next match.

Deonna Purrazzo beats Mercedes Martinez with the Venus de Milo. After the match, Mickie James gets in the ring and has a staredown with Deonna Purrazzo.

It's time for the debut episode of "All About II" with The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee) and Jai Vidal. As The IInspiration talk about their debut and their favorite quote, The Influence storm in and confront them for ripping their segment off. As The IInspiration, Tennille Dashwood and Madison Rayne play tug of war with Cassie's hair and the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, Jai Vidal and Kaleb with a K has a pose-off on the couch until The IInspiration run off.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander is tended to in the trainer's room.

"Inevitable" Ace Austin and Madman Fulton beat Johnny Swinger and Hernandez. After the match, Austin and Fulton continue to attack Hernandez, and Johnny Swinger runs away as soon as chairs are involved. After a chair is wrapped around Hernandez's arm, Austin hits that chair with another chair, injuring that arm.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews W. Morrissey. Morrissey says that when he arrived last year, he was alone and did not have a single fan, friend or supporter. He says that everyone wants to be on your side when you are on top, but when he hit rock bottom, he was alone. He says that when he showed up, he needed no one, not even Moose, and the second he destroyed his alliance with Moose, he has a World title shot, yet people want to cheer for him. Morrissey reiterates that he needs no one and that at Hard To Kill, he will be alone, and when he is the only one left, he will be the Impact World Champion and alone just as he likes it.

"Machine Gun" Karl Anderson beats Heath to earn a one-man advantage for his team in Hardcore War at Hard To Kill. During the match, the other members of both teams argue with each other, but mulitple referees show up and eject them from ringside for the remainder of the match. After the match, Anderson and Doc Gallows gang up on and beat up Heath. This leads to members of both teams in Hardcore War slowly making their way into the ring with weapons and turning the situation into a multi-man brawl to end the show.
