Santos Escobar beats Xyon Quinn and leaves with Elektra Lopez after Elektra Lopez kicks Quinn in the groin.
We hear from Tony D'Angelo, who says there are sixteen different ways to use a crowbar and that he will only need three tonight. He says that tonight, Pete Dunne is finished, and he will learn that "Tony D" is in charge.

We hear from Mandy Rose as she celebrates with a bikini photoshoot. She says that she arrived last week and left with her title and that she was untouchable, then says people tune in every week because NXT is all about her. She tells everyone to keep watching and staring, because she knows they will.
Cameron Grimes beats Damon Kemp. During the match, Malcolm Bivens watches from the ramp.
We hear from Joe Gacy and Harland. Gacy says they express there sincerest gratitude for letting them earn their way into the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Championship, and says they will not squander this opportunity. He plans to use this platform to show that no matter who one is, anyone can win the Dusty Cup, and says that when Malik Blade and Edris Enofe step into the ring with them, they are in a safe space, and while they may be rivals in the ring, they are not rivals in life.
It is announced that Von Wagner has been fined and suspended for his actions from last week.
Malik Blade and Edris Enofe beat Joe Gacy and Harland by disqualification to qualify for the men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic when Harland does not get Malik Blade out of the corner before the five count. After the match, Harland nearly turns on the referee, but Joe Gacy calms him down.
We see a vignette for Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel).

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Grayson Waller, who says that the main event is where he deserves to be and that he will stay there when he wins tonight. He talks about his last week, then says he plans on creating his own moments starting with beating "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles.
We see Mandy Rose in another bikini photoshoot photoshoot. She says that Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Jacy Jayne, Gigi Dolin) is three sexy, successful, self-confident women who have the gold to prove it. Dolin and Jayne say that men want them and women want to be them, and that nobody can touch them. Mandy Rose says to follow the crowd, as Toxic Attraction is the center of attention in NXT.
Indi Hartwell, Persia Pirotta and Wendy Choo beat Amari Miller, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter in a six-person tag team match. (Wendy Choo is originally former independent wrestler Karen Q, who has previously wrestled in NXT as Mei Ying of Tian Sha along with Xia Li and Boa.)
Backstage, MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) see the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy. Nash Carter says the comeback is greater than the setback and Wes Lee says history will repeat itself this year when Dakota Kai shows up and is reminded of winning the Dusty Cup. She says that nothing defines friendship more than success, but Nash Carter and Wes Lee tell her "not to bring that evil upon [them]."
Backstage, Kay Lee Ray shows up at the end of a Mandy Rose photoshoot. Kay Lee Ray says that Mandy Rose can show up for photoshoots, but not title defenses, then trashes the photoshoot set-up, including the camera, with a baseball bat.
Backstage, Solo Sikoa says he does not care which version of Boa he gets, because he is ready for a fight.
Solo Sikoa vs. Boa ends in a double count-out and a brawl that heads backstage.
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. He says that he loves NXT for the passion the Superstars have, and says it is infectious to everyone except Grayson Waller. He says Waller has nervous confidence and that he will have to step up to the plate. He says that "the Grayson Waller effect" ends tonight and that 2022 is the year that he main events WrestleMania, but everything starts tonight by beating Grayson Waller.
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams show up to the arena, and Carmelo hands his car keys to the security guard at the door.
Backstage, Boa and Solo Sikoa continue to brawl as referees tell them to stop. As Solo Sikoa gets the upper hand, he is suddenly blinded by a fireball as he looks over a road crate, and it becomes apparent that Boa has transformed into his dark side.
It is announced that Von Wagner's suspension has been lifted and his fine paid.
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams head to the ring. Trick Williams says he is happy for Carmelo, because when Carmelo has gold, they have gold, and that they go together like peanut butter and jelly or Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant. Carmelo says that he had one of the toughest matches of his career with one of his toughest opponents in Roderick Strong last week, then has a moment of silence for Roderick Strong's Cruiserweight Championship reign. Carmelo then says he has more accomplishments than months in NXT, then says that when he takes a shot, he does not miss, and that he is "the walking cheat code" and the most scintillating champion in NXT. He then says that when the North American Championship is around his waist, it is the championship in NXT.
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams find out that Cameron Grimes has the keys to Carmelo's car. When they meet Grimes, Grimes makes it clear he wants the North American title.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Grayson Waller. After the match, AJ Styles tells Grayson Waller that he is good, but he is not phenomenal. He then says it is not over yet, as he introduces him to one of his friends: LA Knight. Knight chases Grayson into the ring and proceeds to beat him up in and out of the ring, and throws him over the announce table before clotheslining him out of the ring. Styles then pulls Knight aside and shakes his hand.
