Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 22, 2021

Backstage, Vince McMahon is still near the glass case that used to house Cleopatra's Egg, and WWE officials Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce are sitting in front of him. Mr. McMahon is disappointed that there are no clues and that somebody stole something from him. McMahon says that if he does not have the egg by the end of the night, Deville and Pearce will be fired. Deville says there is some security footage, and McMahon says that whoever can give him information or the culprit will get a match with Big E tonight.



Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Randy Orton. Much like Kevin, Randy has no idea where Matt Riddle and says it is not like him to miss a match. Suddenly, Riddle shows up looking much like Randy Orton and taking Orton's advice to be more like him literally. Orton tells him not to get in his head, but Riddle says it's too late and says to hit Orton's music.

Matt Riddle beats Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Randy Orton stops Bobby Roode from attacking Riddle, then gives Riddle his mustache back and hits Roode with the Bro Derek.



Numerous Superstars brawl with each other and tear up a room trying to find Cleopatra's Egg. R-Truth confused a football with the egg and accidentally enters the women's locker room.



Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky talks about how she has had some of the biggest moments of her career in Brooklyn, New York, such as when she slapped Charlotte Flair in the face, and says that last night was the culmination of the last ten years. She says she wanted to hurt, embarrass and main Charlotte and that Charlotte wanted to do the same, and that the fans enjoyed it regardless of how it would end, but in the end, she won and she is over and done with Charlotte. She says it is time to move on to something fresh and new because it is what the fans love, and asks who the fans want to be on top before saying she used to put stock in the fans' opinion until she realized they were full of crap. Becky says she saw ten women break their backs only for the fans to do their chants and songs, but in the end, she agrees with the fans, because none of them have what it takes to beat her, especially Liv Morgan. She says the fans only love Liv Morgan because she is the underdog and has "won one match in four years," then says they will hate her when she loses because not every underdog has their day. She then says nobody will take the Raw Women's title from her.



Before the next match, Bianca Belair says she came all the way back from being in a 4-on-1 situation because the fans cheered her on and she was able to prove she was the best and become the sole survivor. She hopes that Doudrop will stop being so salty and find something better to do like looking for Cleopatra's Egg than coming for her, then says it is time to show Tamina that nobody can whup her because she is the "EST" of WWE.

Bianca Belair beats Tamina. After the match, Natalya attacks Bianca from behind, then Doudrop attacks Bianca from behind after Natalya slides out of the ring after teasing a Sharpshooter. Doudrop then leaves with Natalya and Tamina.



Before the next match, Seth Rollins says he did what he was born to do last night and took Raw, put it over his shoulder and lead his team to victory. Seth then says that the best part of it is that he did it all by himself, as the rest of his team was eliminated. He says Kevin Owens proved he was a liar, a snake and a coward when he walked out. He also says that Bobby Lashley got himself counted and that Austin Theory tried so hard but just wasn't good enough, then says Finn Balor got Brogue Kicked by Sheamus and pinned and was no help. Rollins says that he will show Finn Balor what it means to be the best. Finn Balor then shows up for the next match before Rollins gets done speaking. Seth Rollins then attacks Finn Balor from behind before the bell rings. This leads to a brawl between Rollins and Finn Balor on the outside, which leads to Seth Rollins hitting Finn Balor with the ring steps. Rollins then hits Finn Balor with the stomp back in the ring, ending their match before it can start. Rollins heads towards the back at first, but he gets back in the ring and hits Finn Balor with The Stomp again. When Rollins heads to the back for real, he is suddenly attacked by a fan. (The fan is identified as Elisah Spencer, 24, and is charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs (for disrupting a live sporting event). Rollins receives a swolen lip during the attack, but refuses medical attention.)



Various Superstars are seen looking for Cleopatra's Egg in a backstage hallway.

Backstage, Sami Zayn tells Vince McMahon that he is pretty sure who took his egg, then says that they are not here yet and that he will bring them to him.

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) show up with a bag before the next match.

Backstage, Kevin Owens looks for Cleopatra's Egg. He is soon interviewed by Sarah Schreiber, and says he was not listening to "that delusional idiot" Seth Rollins and that he was looking for the egg. He says that if he is not fortunate enough to bring the egg back, he cannot wait to see who does, as he has great interest in who walks out WWE Champion.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) after Dawkins pulls a fire extinguisher out of the bag and sprays it at Omos. After the match, Dawkins sprays Styles as he goes for the Phenomenal Forearm.



Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Carmella and Queen Zelina. Carmella says they are not worried about Nikki A.S.H., even though she is fun and has her moments. Zelina says that Rhea Ripley has carried her team and that they will overpower Rhea Ripley with their royal beauty, leaving Nikki A.S.H. alone and both Nikki and Rhea without their championships. Carmella says they will win with smarts, strategy and strength, and Zelina says they will stay on top when they become Women's Tag Team Champions.

We see another vignette for Veer Mahaan.

Backstage, Sonya Deville tells Vince McMahon that the culprit who stole Cleopatra's Egg is here and that Adam Pearce is bringing him in right now. After the commercial break, Sami Zayn, Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce bring Austin Theory into the office. Austin says he tried to take a selfie with the egg and got scared, and shows the selfie. Vince drops the charges and gives Austin Theory the WWE Championship match, much to Sami Zayn's chagrin, and Austin Theory takes a selfie with Vince. When Sami protests, Vince tells him to shut up, saying "No one likes a snitch."



Cedric Alexander beats Reggie to become the WWE 24/7 Champion! After the match, Cedric Alexander tries to run away from a slew of Superstars, but he is hit with a top rope blockbuster by Dana Brooke, who becomes the WWE 24/7 Champion. The other Superstars let her celebrate.



Backstage, Dominik Mysterio tells Rey Mysterio that he just stood there and should have done something when Rey was in the full nelson, and apologizes. Rey says Bobby Lashley is not his first monster, and he held his chin high, ready to fight, every time. He says he does not need Dominik to fight his battles for him, but tonight, he fights by his side in the name of family. He hopes to leave Lashley shaking in his boots as they give him a family ass-whupping.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Dana Brooke, who says that she created an opportunity and captured the 24/7 Championship. She knows she has a target on her back, but this is her moment to show who she is.

Before the next match, MVP tells Rey Mysterio he has a lot of respect for him by becoming a icon and a giant in the industry. He then says he leaves a lot to be desired as a family, and asks if he has taught Dominik that monsters are real and says he has never met a monster like Lashley. He also asks Rey what will happen if Dominik is in the Hurt Lock and Rey is powerless to help him. MVP then says that Rey is a disgrace of a father, and that after his wife Angie is disgusted with him for getting Dominik injured, he should give Angie his number so she can call him.

Bobby Lashley beats Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a two-on-one handicap match with the Hurt Lock to Dominik.



Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Big E, who says that he let a lot of people down last night and that he has nobody but himself to blame. Tonight, he has his hands full, and while Austin Theory is young and brash, he is talented. He assures that he will be feeling "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good" when he leaves with the WWE Championship tonight.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Liv Morgan. Liv is not able to say much when Becky Lynch shows up and says that Liv underdelivered last night, saying it reminded her of Money In The Bank when Liv fell just short of winning the Money In The Bank Briefcase. She says that Liv has embarrassed everyone, and Liv eventually snaps and hits Becky when Becky makes fun of her for looking like she is going to cry.



Damian Priest heads to the ring. Not long afterwards, Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez show up, and Azeez introduces Crews before Crews says that Priest is ashamed of who he is while he has embraced his Nigerian heritage and found his true self. He says that this is why he will decimate him for the United States Championship, because he is a Nigerian warrior and more powerful than ever while Damian Priest is not fit to hold the United States Championship. Crews declines to fight, saying it would not be fair, but Sami Zayn shows up. Sami says he was right all along and that the conspiracy against him runs all the way up to Vince McMahon himself after he was denied a shot at the WWE Championship. He says that when one door closes, another one opens, and if Crews and Azeez do not want the match, he will happily accept, because he is not leaving tonight empty-handed and he will become the WWE United States Champion.

Damian Priest retains the WWE United States Championship against Sami Zayn when Sami Zayn causes him to snap.



Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Austin Theory, who shows off his selfie with Vince McMahon before saying that the only thing cooler is that he will become the WWE Champion in history. He says that while Big E has done a lot, he helped Raw win the men's Survivor Series Match while Big E is "a big loser," and that he is future and the future is now. He says Vince McMahon knows this, and that Big E will learn when he takes a selfie as the new WWE Champion.

We see WWE Superstars go bowling with local Special Olympics athletes.

Seth Rollins shows up to watch the next match from ringside.

Big E retains the WWE Championship against Austin Theory. Shortly after the match begins, Kevin Owens shows up and confronts Seth Rollins on his way to watch the match from up close. near the end of the match, Seth Rollins trips Big E, then Owens has a verbal confrontation with Rollins. This distracts Austin Theory and allows Big E to hit the Big Ending to retain. After the match, Rollins and Owens argue, and Big E attacks both of them. Owens retreats, but Rollins ends up the recipient of a Big Ending.
