Generation NXT 2.0 - NXT 2.0 recap for November 2, 2021

Mandy Rose heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Mandy says she told the crowd she was on another level and that she would become champion, and now, she has done it by beating Raquel Gonzalez. She also says that she is "still the baddest bitch in the whole goddamn company" and that the NXT Women's Championship looks better on her than anyone else, and that everyone is following every move that Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) makes. Suddenly, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin are seen attacking Zoey Stark's ankle, and Mandy Rose says that Toxic Attraction runs NXT and that nobody can stop them. As she dares anyone who thinks differently to take her on, Io Shirai shows up. Io Shirai says she saw what happened and that while she does not like Zoey Stark, she does not like Mandy even less, and wants Mandy right here and now. Mandy tells Io that she is in her world right now and that nobody is scared of her anymore, then hits Io with a cheap shot after calling for a referee and eventually lays her out. Mandy then tells Io that this is a new NXT and that she will never look like her, but this fires Io up and causes her to fight back. After a release German suplex, Io gores for the top rope moonsault only to be ganged up on by Dolin and Jayne. The numbers game eventually takes over, but Jayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro show up and help Io Shirai even the odds.

Backstage, Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) suddenly meet Dakota Kai, who says she only attacked Raquel Gonzalez to end her before heading to the ring.

At Duke's Poker Room, Cameron Grimes joins the table. Duke Hudson is eager to take all of Cameron's money.

Dakota Kai beats Cora Jade. After the match, Dakota Kai pulls Cora Jade out of the ring and drags her by the hair before slamming her head into the floor and pulling a table out from underneath the ring. She lays it on Cora's head, then changes her mind, looks at Jade, then takes Cora's skateboard. She places the skateboard on Cora, then leaves.

We see a Twitter video from Robert Stone where Robert challenges Xyon Quinn to a match.

MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) are out and about in Orlando regrouping after losing the NXT Tag Team Championships. Nash Carter says he is getting them some help from the man who is responsible for creating the legend behind "MSK." The bus shows up, and the story behind the "MSK" moniker again remains a secret. Nash and Wes Lee suddenly remembered that was their bus, and they decide to walk to where they meant to go.

Before the next match, Robert Stone tells Xyon Quinn that he called him out because he embarrassed him, and that everyone is jealous of him because he can do anything, then says he will outsing him and stomp him before pinning him for the win. Robert Stone then sings Franky Monet's theme after dedicating the performance to Franky, then asks what is so funny before askign Quinn if he can do a better job. Quinn says that was "pretty interesting," but he is here to kick Stone's ass. Stone calls Quinn a chicken, then Quinn performs "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' theme and outsings Robert Stone. Stone is eventually able to slap Quinn, and this earns Stone a beating when the match begins. Xyon Quinn quickly beats Robert Stone.

We hear from Joe Gacy, who says that world should be a happy place, but is instead a cesspool full of self-centered individuals. He mentions the absolutely negativity of social media and instant judgment, then says Harlan has been alienated without being given a chance. He then says that he and Harlan will change the world together.

Backstage, Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza, Elektra Lopez) run into Xyon Quinn, and Elektra is impressed with what Quinn did, saying she had no idea there was that kind of side to him. Quinn says there are many sides to him, and Lopez says that is something she can work with.

Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) beat Von Wagner and Kyle O'Reilly.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Carmelo says it is back to business tonight, then Andre Chase - who is amazingly still alive - tells Carmelo and Trick he has their backs. When McKenzie Mitchell mentions to Andre Chase that people thought he looked like a coward in the haunted house, Andre Chase says he is heading to the ring to give someone an ass-whupping.

Back in Duke's Poker Room, Duke Hudson is amazed at Cameron Grimes' longevity, attributing it to "beginner's luck." Grimes gets irritated with how Hudson talks to people, while Hudson is irritated with his inability to instantly clean Grimes out.

Andre Chase heads to the ring. He throws the microphone when it doesn't work, then gets another microphone and addresses rumors that he looked like a coward in last week's haunted house, then decides to make this a teachable moment. He says that he will prove that he fears nothing and that he is the one person in NXT to fear, and calls out anyone who wants a Ph.D. in getting their ass kicked. The challenge is answered by Bron Breakker.

Bron Breakker beats Andre Chase. After the match, Bron Breakker said he had the biggest match of his life last week and failed, as he fell for Tommaso Ciampa's traps and Ciampa took advantage of his inexperience, admitting that Ciampa is the man in NXT. He then says there is nothing that pisses him off more than losing, as he will get another shot at the NXT Championship and he will either beat Ciampa for the title or die trying.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel). Marcel Barthel says it took years to become NXT Tag Team Championships again, and Fabian Aichner says that they did not lower themselves to American ideals. When Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne show up to congratulate Imperium and asks them to watch their six-woman tag match next week, Barthel says that while the mat is sacred, America has its benefits.

It's time for Lashing Out With Lash Legend. Tonight's guest is Tony D'Angelo. Lash Legend confronts Tony D'Angelo for the disappearance of her producer Mark, who then comes out. It soon becomes apparent that D'Angelo knows about his home, wife and family, and demands that he says hello to his family and tell Lash everything is fine. Mark does, then D'Angelo tells him to take a hike before saying the aim of his game is to hurt people and make as much money as possible, then hands Lash Legend some money before leaving.

It is announced that Zoey Stark has been taken to a hospital and that there will be updates on her condition later in the week.

Solo Sikoa beats Jeet Rama.

Boa heads to the ring alone at the behest of Mei Ying, and LA Knight guests on commentary for the next match.

We hear from Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, who simultaneously tell their stories while having a beer and grilling a steak while playing horseshoes (in Briggs' case) or cornhole (in Jensen's case).

Boa beats Grayson Waller following the distraction by LA Knight.

Back in Duke's Poker Room, Duke Hudson loses to Cameron Grimes with a pair of twos (compared to Hudson's pair of aces) when both men have a full house. Hudson becomes livid and a sore loser when everyone else at the table celebrates with Grimes.

We hear from Kay Lee Ray, who says that the atmosphere in NXT is always changing and that she did not come here to make up the numbers. She says that next week, she starts to rage.

Boa finds out that Mei Ying has left her chair. He kneels at the chair, then turns around to reveal he is wearing face paint. Boa then blows smoke at the camera.

Tommaso Ciampa heads to the ring. Ciampa says that Halloween Havoc was a changing of the guard in NXT, then says Bron Breakker isn't the NXT Champion because nobody told him he was supposed to. He says that while Breakker earned his respect, he is still "the god of NXT." As Ciampa says that the NXT title brings responsibility and a target on one's back, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams show up. Carmelo Hayes says he should be the one to put Ciampa in check, as it is not about "y'all" anymore and that there is a new school on the rise and he is the leader. He says that as long as he is North American Champion, Ciampa will take a back seat to him. Carmelo Hayes says he is "the A Champion," but Ciampa says that Carmelo does not believe a word he is saying and tells him to jump if he is feeling froggy. Trick says he and Carmelo are the main event only for Ciampa to punch him out. As Ciampa leaves, Johnny Gargano shows up and the two of them have a brief staredown.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams beat Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis after Trick Williams hits Dexter Lumis with one of his own boots as Lumis has Carmelo Hayes in Silence.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
