Double or Nothing 2020 - The Results

Tony Schiavone interviews Jake "The Snake" Roberts as Lance Archer pounds on a sledgehammer with a tire in an abandoned building. When Roberts is asked if Archer is ready for tonight, Archer smashes a toilet.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) beat Private Party (Marc Quen and Isiah Kassidy) during the Buy-In to become #1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, who says that toilets don't hit back and that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes does, and says that Mike Tyson could beat him and/or Jake "The Snake" Roberts out. He also says that Cody is the clear favorite to win the TNT Championship due to his inner qualities, and that Cody will start his own legacy when he wins the big one tonight.

AEW thanks all first responders for giving the power to persevere during the current world situation regarding COVID-19. Also, "Shad Gaspard 1981 - 2020" appears in front of a picture of the ocean on the shore of a beach.

We hear from some of the competitors in tonight's Casino Ladder Match. Joey Janela says that he is suddenly in the Casino Ladder Match due to Fenix suffering an injury on last week's Dynamite.

The Casino Ladder Match is won by Brian Cage, who makes his AEW debut in this match. Cage takes the poker chip off the hook above the ring after putting Darby Allin on top of a ladder and tossing both the ladder and Allin out of the ring at the behest of Taz, who accompanies him to the ring and acts as Cage's manager.

MJF beats Jungle Boy after raking Jungle Boy's eyes prior to a modified European clutch pin.

Before the next match, "Iron" Mike Tyson presents the AEW TNT Championship, and Lance Archer choke slams a random person in the ring. (The TNT Championship does not have gold plating, as the belt is not complete due to COVID-19.)

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Lance Archer to become the inaugural AEW TNT Champion! "Iron" Mike Tyson presents Cody with the championship. During the match, both Arn Anderson and Jake "The Snake" Roberts are ejected from ringside simultaneously, but after Roberts tries to come back with a snake in a bag, he is forced to retreat by "Iron" Mike Tyson, who threatens to beat Roberts up if he tries to interfere in the match.

It is announced that Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. has been injured as of last week's Dynamite. Dr. Michael Samson mentions that Baker has a few tears in her leg, but thankfully, the injuries are not serious.

Kris Statlander beats Penelope Ford. (Penelope Ford replaces Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. in this match.) Before the match, "Superbad" Kip Sabian has tape wrapped around himself and is on crutches following what happened to him in the Casino Ladder Match.

Before the next match, Shawn Spears says that all mediocre careers must come to an end, and as he says that "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes is "sitting at home, washing his tights" (an obvious reference to the 1989 Batman movie), Dustin Rhodes' music plays. Shawn pretends to be afraid, then slowly turns to the camera and smiles, saying he had everybody fooled before telling referee Aubrey Edwards to ring the bell and count Rhodes out. Edwards reluctantly starts the count, but Rhodes' entrance theme music plays again, and this time, Brandi Rhodes shows up. As Brandi distracts Spears from the middle of the ramp, Rhodes shows up from behind Spears and attacks him, starting the match.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes beats Shawn Spears. During the match, Spears' clothes are ripped off and he is down to his underwear, which has Tully Blanchard's face on the crotch.

All Out is live September 5th!

AEW pays tribute to Hana Kimura (1997 - 2020), who passed away last night at the age of 22. AEW asks that people be nicer to each other on social media.

Hikaru Shida beats "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose in a no-disqualification, no count-out match with a Kendo stick shot to the head followed by a running knee strike to become AEW Women's World Champion!

Jon Moxley retains the AEW World Championship - and gets it back - against Brodie Lee following a Paradigm Shift through the ramp, two more in the ring and a rear naked choke.

The AEW Unrivaled Collection of action figures is coming August 2020 from Jazwares!

The Elite (Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, Kenny Omega, "Hangman" Adam Page, "Broken" Matt Hardy) beat The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara) in a Stadium Stampede Match. "Hangman" Adam Page shows up shortly after the beginning of the match on a horse and chases Guevara to the back of the stadium. When he cannot find him, Page heads to the bar. Hager ends up finding Page at the bar. After a drink, both men fight each other in the bar. Later on in the match, Santana and Ortiz throw Matt Hardy into a nearby pool, where - thanks to the water, which is apparently from the Lake of Reincarnation - Hardy transforms into Matt Hardy V1 (complete with a Matt Fact), Matt Hardy V2 and then back into "Broken" Matt Hardy. Also, Jacksonville Jaguars mascot Jackson De Ville gets a Judas Effect from Jericho, Jericho and referee Aubrey Edwards make a reference to instant replay in the NFL, Rick Knox gets superkicked after calling a foul for excessive celebration and un-sportsmanlike conduct for Alex Wright-style dancing, and Neo-1 - the successor to Vanguard-1 - shows up to spoil the fun for Sammy Guevara before Kenny Omega plants Guevara through a platform with One Winged Angel for the win. After the match, Omega gets the celebratory Gatorade bath.
