Money In The Bank 2020 - The LIVE Results



Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). Big E says that he and Kofi are not scared of tonight's match, and Kofi says that they do not run from a challenge, as they always come out on top.

Jeff Hardy beats Cesaro on the kick-off show.



The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik), the team of The Miz and John Morrison and The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match shortly after Jaxson Ryker gets ejected for pulling the top rope down and causing Big E to fall out of the ring despite the match being no-disqualification.



In footage from earlier today, Lacey Evans says this may be here first Money In The Bank Ladder Match, she is United-States built for this match and has planned and prepared for the last two weeks for both her opponents and the layout of WWE headquarters. She says that she is ready to make her way to the top and grab the contract, and tells Bayley that her Woman's Right is ready for her any time she wants.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that Seth Rollins is one of the most talented and decorated in-ring performers of all time, but he has heart, passion and desire and he will not lose the WWE Championship tonight. He also says that Rollins cannot stop running his mouth, and he will close it by introducing him to "Claymore Country" and breaking his jaw.

It is announced that Backlash will be live on WWE Network on June 14th.

Before the next match, R-Truth tries to teach MVP how to do the "ballin'" maneuver when Bobby Lashley shows up. Lashley takes the microphone, tells MVP he has the match and that he can take the night off. MVP says "That's what's up," and leaves. The match is officially between R-Truth and Lashley.

Bobby Lashley quickly beats R-Truth.



In footage from earlier today, King Corbin says it feels good to be king after getting rid of Elias and beating Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan on last week's SmackDown. He then says he will earn his second Money In The Bank victory and win the contract, and the only thing he knows that the risk will be worth the reward of everyone referring to him as "King Money In The Bank."

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley, and says she does not blame Sasha Banks for last Friday's loss before saying she will retain against Tamina.

Bayley retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Tamina with a crucifix pin after Tamina chases Sasha Banks around the ring. After the match, Tamina gets Bayley up for another Samoan Drop, but Sasha hits Tamina with a chop block to save Bayley.



In footage from earlier today, Seth Rollins says Drew McIntyre knows who he is and what he is capable of, and knows in his heart that he understands it is his destiny to beat him and become WWE Champion. He then says that McIntyre is still willing to step into the fire with him despite all he knows and understands, and says he will do McIntyre the favor of unburdening him, for the duty to lead is not McIntyre's cross to bear. He says it will not be just for McIntyre's good, but the greater good, and that the fans need him to be WWE Champion and he needs to be the Monday Night Messiah.

Braun Strowman retains the WWE Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt. During the match, Braun Strowman downs the black sheep mask, and Bray Wyatt gets on his knees to welcome him back. After Ramblin' Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch and Huskus the Pig Boy show up behind the barricade to congratulate Bray, Strowman takes off the mask and stomps on it before hitting Bray with the running powerslam to retain. As the camera focuses on Bray, we see a few brief images of The Fiend.



We hear from the hacker, who says he is everywhere, sees everyone and hears everything, for he is the truth and no one is safe.

Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship against Seth Rollins. After the match, McIntyre offers Rollins his hand and thanks him, saying that is what he needed and that Rollins is the man, but not on this night. As McIntyre asks Rollins to show he is a leader and shake his hand, Rollins shakes his hand, then McIntyre leaves.





Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews R-Truth, who thinks that he beat MVP, then says he has nobody to celebrate with before revealing he was looking at a picture of himself with the WWE 24/7 Championship. He then says if he doesn't want to be lonely, he should take back the 24/7 Championship and sack Tom Brady - even though he means Rob Gronkowski - to do it.

Asuka and Otis win the women and men's simultaneous Money In The Bank Ladder Match which sees special appearances by Brother Love, Doink, Stephanie McMahon, Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon. Otis wins the briefcase after Elias shows up out of nowhere and blasts King Corbin in the back with a guitar. AJ Styles grabs the briefcase, but drops it, and Otis catches the briefcase to win the match.
