Final Impact - GFW Impact Wrestling recap for October 12, 2017

Global Force Wrestling arrives in Japan with Pro Wrestling Noah.

The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz, Diamante) show up. Konnan announces that LAX is exercising their rematch clause for the tag team titles at Bound For Glory. Santana wants whatever kind of match it takes to get oVe (Jake and Dave Crist) to accept their challenge. oVe shows up, and tells them to name the match and they've got it. Konnan proposes a 5150 Street Fight. oVe tells them they've got it. Konnan asks if they know what that even means, but they do not care. Konnan says LAX will send them back to the Ohio trailer park that they came from, and Diamante tells them that "5150" means they're fighting all of LAX, not just Santana and Ortiz. She slaps one of the Crist brothers, starting a brawl where oVe is taken out.

Eddie Edwards and Naofumi Marufuji sign a contract for a match for the GHC Heavyweight Championship, and other members of GFW speak as part of a press conference for Pro Wrestling Noah.

We see a recap of what has been going on with Lashley and Moose as of late.

Johnny Mundo and Garza Jr. talk about what happened between them last week as well as their match tonight.

Rosemary beats Hannah Harper by hitting Red Wedding...and only Red Wedding. After the match, Rosemary says nothing excites her like finding an opponent worthy of her brand of violence and destruction. She asks Taya Valkyrie to join her in the ring and accept a dance with the demon. Taya Valkyrie shows up, stands with Rosemary for a few seconds, then spits red mist into her face before Rosemary can do the same to her. She then hits Rosemary with Road To Valhalla.

We see a video recap of Moose on the hunt for Lashley. We then see Moose on the phone, telling someone he will see him at America's Top Team's facility.

Taryn Terrell shows up. Now that she has a title shot at Bound For Glory, she decides to focus on Gail Kim. She does not even know why people are fans of her or why people cheer for her, or why her husband Robert is even married to her. She then says that everyone will see how pathetic Gail Kim is to the point that Robert and Gail Kim will be on Divorce Court. Gail Kim shows up, and says she is only here to talk to Taryn. She says her mind games and "psychological babble BS" does not work on her, and she also belives in karma and that karma will slap her in the face before she does. She then slaps her anyway before beating the crap out of her.

Sienna tells Mackenzie Mitchell she is here to prove she is the greatest Knockouts champ of all time, and how better to prove that than by beating up Allie. Texano Jr. says that AAA is the most important company in the world, and that "The Cowboy" James Storm that he is the only cowboy around here. Caleb Konley says he is taking over for Trevor Lee in his match, and that he is going to show what North Carolina is all about.

Bakstage, Taya Valkyrie says she isn't the only one who is unpredictable and that she has secrets of her own when asked where she got her red mist.

Jim Cornette announces that next week, Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie will go one-on-one in the ring.

Grado walks his way to the arena, while Joseph Park shows up in an expensive sports car with beautiful women. Joseph Park says the women are "interns," and one of them calls Grado a "meal ticket."

We see the stars of Global Force Wrestling talk about Bound For Glory.

Global Wrestling Network is now available, with a $7.99 premium membership giving you additional ad-free access.

Allie, Dezmond Xavier and "The Cowboy" James Storm beat Sienna, Caleb Konley and Texano Jr. after Caleb Konley laughs at Dezmond Xavier only to turn around and eat a Last Call Superkick. After the match, Storm and Texano Jr. have a brief staredown.

Eli Drake tells us about his time in Japan, saying the GFW Global Championship is not going anywhere tonight. He also says that he will be walking out of Bound For Glory as GFW Global Champion.

Eddie Edwards talks about when he won the GHC Heavyweight Championship, as well as the time he has spent in Japan.

Garza Jr. talks about what it feels like to be in Japan, and says he will represent Crash!, Impact Wrestling, Mexican lucha libre and his people. In Japan, everyone knows his uncle, Hector Garza, and says that his uncle would be proud of him. He also says that the Japanese crowd loves what they see.

We see Episode 5 of "Global Forged."

At the clubhouse, the Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz, Diamante) are playing dominoes and brag about the beating they gave oVe (Jake and Dave Crist). Konnan says that oVe are in over their heads and that Homicide will be returning at Bound For Glory.

We see Moose on the phone, telling someone he will see him at America's Top Team's facility. This time, it is at night. Moose returns to America's Top Team's facilities, and this time, he has an ally in "The American Psycho" Stephan Bonnar. Both men carry metal pipes to the facility.

Johnny Impact beats Garza Jr. to become #1 contender for the GFW Global Championship and face Eli Drake for the title after a series of reversals into roll-ups. Eli Drake is seen watching the match from Japan. Garza Jr. raises Johnny Impact's hand in the air after the match, then both men show respect. Jim Cornette then interviews Johnny Mundo, but before he can say much, Chris Adonis sneaks up on Johnny Mundo and hits him with a wooden board.

At the America's Top Team facilities, Moose and "The American Psycho" Stephan Bonnar show up. After meeting the secretary, Moose and Bonnar go right to work and destroy a display case with championship belts and trophies in it. They then trash the merchandise section before leaving with the championship belts.

Here's this week's edition of After Impact!

Don't forget: Alberto El Patron is returning at Bound For Glory!
