Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for April 5, 2016

Rosa talks with Jojo, Mandy and Renee Young about what kind of food she should have for her baby shower. Rosa gets Paige's attention, but Paige isn't exactly in the mood for baby talk. Rosa has noticed that Paige seems kinda withdrawn, and Paige just says she's tired. Alicia tells her to "get up."

Brie shows Nikki her dream home on her phone. She and Bryan are heading to Washington State to hunt for a new house.

Paige and Alicia have drinks at a bar. Alicia plans to fly her mom and sister to Jacksonville to discuss some family issues that haven't been mentioned yet. One of her mom's friends, Pritchy, whom Alicia considers a father figure, has recently had a spot found on his lungs and it makes her feel sad. Paige thinks bringing this up to her mom and sister could bring the family back together. Because of this, Alicia won't be able to make it to Rosa's baby shower. Paige tells Alicia she's got her back.

Brie, Bryan, JJ and Nikki head to Port Townsend in Washington State. Nikki's high-maintenance lifestyle makes her partial to the Washington State lifestyle.

Alicia mentions to Rosa that she has to take care of family issues and can't make it to the baby shower. Rosa becomes distraught before Alicia can even mention what's going on.

Brie, Bryan, JJ and Nikki check out the site of the new house, which is in the middle of the forest. Nikki finds out this is just the site and that Brie and Bryan want to build their own house, and that they not only want to live for a summer home, but to live here full-time. Brie makes a $50 that she can camp outside in Washington State. Bryan says she's on.

Alicia's sister is finally in town...but mom is not. Alicia's mom was supposed to meet up with her in Houston, but she ultimately decided not to go, and Alicia feels like she blew her off. Alicia's sister thinks that mom doesn't really know how to cope.

Brie, Nikki, Bryan and JJ head to a cabin on a potential property. Nikki figures out that Brie and Bryan have planned this out, and that Bryan has a lot more energy whenever he's in Washington State.

Alicia and her sister finally pick mom up.

Eva Marie won't be able to come to Rosa's baby shower since she's booked on NXT. As for Mandy, she and Rosa haven't known each other that long. As for Paige, she has a secret that she has to get off her chest to Rosa concerning the baby shower, but it's getting to her.

Paige talks with Big Show backstage. As she talks to Big Show, we learn that she had a baby when she was young, but she lost the baby due to a miscarriage. She had surgery for a dolomite cyst, and was told that she might never have another chance to have a child.

Alicia, her sister, her mom and Manny - Alicia's brother-in-law - head to a lemon bar. They all get a surprise meeting from Pritchy...and Alicia finds out that mom knew about this before anyone else.

Bryan and Nikki go with the bet from earlier. Brie can't understand why Nikki is going through with this, but she decides to let them go through with it. Everything goes fine, until Brie has to use the bathroom. She ultimately concedes.

Paige rides with Rosa in Los Angeles. Paige has been approached with an offer to guest on MTV's Ridiculousness, and she has decided to do it, and can't come to Rosa's baby shower. Rosa fells like she's going to be the only one at the shower.

Nikki tries some more country living things like cutting wood...and Brie is wondering what kind of space alien has taken control of her sister.

Alicia tells her mom that she knew about what was going on with Pritchy. Her mom apologizes for not meeting her at Houston, but Alicia feels like she's not a priority.

Nikki and JJ go fly fishing, while Brie and Bryan laugh at the fact that "Nikki thinks she has to be some sort of wilderness woman" as they go shopping. Nikki has a good experience with this. She mentions that this is the year of growing up in everyone's life and that everyone's ready to move on to the next chapter, yet she's not there yet.

Alicia and her mom talk outside. Alicia said that she had plans, but mom said she didn't know that she did. They end up having an argument in the car, and her mom ends up crying after Alicia comes at her from a place of anger.

Rosa puts on a happy face for her baby shower, but can't understand why Paige would choose a TV show appearance over her shower, especially after she saw the fight between her and Alicia over the shower. Lillian Garcia shows up for the shower.

Paige is at the shooting for Ridiculousness. She feels guilty and feels that she's betraying Rosa for not letting her know her secret.

Paige makes it to Rosa's baby shower just in time after getting her appearance on Ridiculousness done. Paige and Rosa have a word out back, and Paige mentions her secret. Rosa understands what's going on, and the two of them hug it out.

Brie, Bryan, Nikki and JJ have dinner and wine out. It becomes apparent that the whole "wilderness woman" thing is due to Nikki thinking that Brie and Bryan don't want her around since she always happens to gravitate towards them when John Cena is away from home. Brie and Bryan tell her that's not the case, and that they like having her around.
