Generation NXT - NXT recap for April 6, 2016

Cathy Kelley recaps NXT TakeOver: Dallas.

After NXT TakeOver: Dallas, America Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) said that winning the NXT tag titles took a lot of digging deep, as they did not want to fall short one more time. Gable said the crowd in Dallas is the type of crowd you want to win a title in front of, and that it was a long time coming for Jason Jordan given how long he's been in NXT.

After her loss at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Bayley congratulated Asuka, who she admitted had a counter for everything she could throw at her. Bayley felt she let her family and friends down, and planned to come back and rise to the occasion again.

After NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Austin Aries says he's the most polarizing man in professional wrestling, but in the end it doesn't matter to him. He said he made Baron Corbin respect him after that night.

Finn Balor admitted that Samoa Joe is a monster after his successful title defense, and that NXT TakeOver: Dallas was a war. He didn't know how much more he could give to keep Samoa Joe from coming forward. Balor said he didn't win, he just temporarily held him back. Samoa Joe, on the other hand, isn't as talkative.

"The Drifter" Elias Samson introduces himself and is about to sing a song about the crowd when the crowd chants "We want wrestling!" Apollo Crews shows up before Samson can get going, however.

After his loss to "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn called the match one of the best of his career and that he had nothing but respect for him. He also said that the show of respect from the fans also meant a lot. As for Nakamura, we hear from him in his native Japanese before he says in English that "Strong Style" has arrived.
