Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for April 21, 2016

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. When The Miz asks if AJ Styles commanded Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to attack Roman Reigns, he says no. Miz says that the "no" answer gave Gallows and Anderson permission to beat up Roman, but Styles says he doesn't need help to beat Roman Reigns at Payback. Miz still keeps insisting that Styles ordered an attack on Roman somehow and that his "no" answer is still an admission of guilt, and Maryse eggs him on to the point that the two of them make out. When Miz turns around, AJ hits him in the face with a forearm to end the segment.

Ryback beats Kalisto.

Baron Corbin attacks Dolph Ziggler from behind before their match can even begin...because he can.

AJ Styles beats The Miz after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson keep Miz from retreating to the back.

Dean Ambrose makes it clear that he doesn't like Chris Jericho very much. After some kidding around with Sami Zayn, his tag team partner for tonight, they get ready for the main event.

When asked if they have aligned with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson say that they're just here to make an impact. They then announce that they will have their debut match in the WWE against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) next week on Raw.

Paige and Natalya beat Naomi and Tamina with a simultaneous Sharpshooter and PTO.

R-Truth beats Fandango in a very comedic match with Goldust as special guest referee. Goldust and R-Truth dance together after the match.

The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) and the team of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady have a war of words. Aiden English says he's sick and tired of hearing words come out of Enzo's mouth, and says that Enzo and Cass have no poise. Both teams plan to continue to the finals of the #1 Contenders' Tag Team Tournament and face The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens beat Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
