Bull Dempsey tells CJ Parker that he wants him to maim Baron Corbin tonight "for the greater good."

In the biggest upset this year - which is odd, considering this is January 1st - Blue Pants beats Carmella after Enzo Amore tries to give Carmella advice only for Carmella to shove him off, unintentionally being distracted as she does so. Carmella chases after Enzo for being directly responsible for her first ever loss, and Colin Cassady has to keep them apart.
Baron Corbin beats CJ Parker in 34 seconds. After the match, Baron Corbin grabs the microphone and asks Bull Dempsey - who is in the audience again - if he's either going to stand there all day like he's scared of if he's going to fight. Corbin then pulls Bull out of the audience and the two of them brawl until officials break it up.
Devin Taylor interviewed William Regal earlier today. Regal tells us that Sami Zayn will be returning. Curtis Axel barges in and wants a match. Regal gives him one, all right - next week, Curtis Axel takes on Hideo Itami.
Devin Taylor interviews Charlotte in the ring. Charlotte considers Sasha Banks the toughest Diva she's faced, even though she's beaten her twice. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch show up to give her a beating, but they're forced to retreat when Charlotte's NXT: TakeOver rival Natalya stands alongside her.
Sami Zayn tells us he'll be back soon...and you can bet he's coming for Kevin Owens.
Renee Young interviewed Kevin Owens three weeks ago, but it ends up being both cut short and unrevealing about Owens' recent behavior.
Hideo Itami and Finn Balor beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).
