Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 19, 2015

WWE remembers Martin Luther King, Jr.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman start the show, and Lesnar immediately calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins has ten seconds, and he doesn't show up...but Triple H does. He wants Brock Lesnar to calm down and also wants to put the whole thing with last week's contract signing behind them. Lesnar asks Triple H if he's here to fix this or if he's here to fight. Stephanie McMahon, Kane and Big Show try to de-escalate this, but Seth Rollins appears on the TitanTron and tells Lesnar to wait for his shot at him at Royal Rumble. Heyman tells Rollins to "let the adults speak" and says Lesnar will still be champ after Sunday night. John Cena shows up and says the plot to get rid of him as well as the recent guilt-tripping concerning the firings of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan won't work, then calls HHH and Stephanie "the world's biggest ash-holes." Stephanie tries to guilt-trip Cena again, saying he's not the Cena he used to be, and Seth Rollins says that nobody wants to see Cena win. Cena says we'll see about that, and that if he wins the title on Sunday, then Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan get their jobs back. Triple H decides to make a match tonight, and if he wins it, they're re-hired. If he loses, they're still fired and he's no longer in the title match at Royal Rumble. Triple H then decides to hold a WWE App vote to see if people want him to risk his title opportunity this Sunday to get them re-hired.

Bray Wyatt beats Daniel Bryan after Kane interferes behind the referee's back. After the match, Kane attacks Daniel Bryan.

Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and X-Pac are all in the same room. Damien Mizdow does his best X-Pac impression, but The Miz isn't pleased with this.

We see the Royal Rumble Legends Panel: Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Hulk and HBK say Cena should risk his title opportunity, Flair says he should not. They all come to agreement on one thing, though: the Royal Rumble match is a dangerous, unpredictable match that should not be taken lightly. HBK thinks Bray Wyatt will win the Rumble, while Hulk Hogan picks Daniel Bryan and Ric Flair picks Dean Ambrose. Suddenly, Big Show comes out and says he doesn't see legends in the ring, but "washed-up has beens." Show says they didn't pick him to win the Royal Rumble match because "they're jealous of him," when Show clearly knows he's beaten them all at various points in his career. Show says he's going to win the Rumble, since there's nobody in the back who can toss him over the top rope, and tells the Legends to leave the ring and "go back to the old folks' home." Instead, Flair fights him off only to get knocked out...then Roman Reigns shows up ready to do the same to Big Show. Show tells him to get out of the ring before he gets knocked out. Roman Reigns fights Show and sends him over the top rope, forcing Show to retreat.

Renee Young interviews John Cena. The WWE App vote has concluded, and the WWE Universe has voted by a landslide to see him fight. Cena's ready to do just that.

Dean Ambrose beats Bad News Barrett after reversing Wasteland.

The Royal Rumble match, by the numbers.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beat Cesaro and Tyson Kidd.

This Thursday's match between Daniel Bryan vs. Kane on SmackDown is now a no-disqualification match!

Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and X-Pac show up for the New World Order reunion. Without them, there would be no Monday Night War. As they speak, The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) suddenly show up and proclaim they're better than everyone. Suddenly, JBL takes off the commentary headset and proclaims he's had enough. He takes off the shirt to reveal an Acolytes Protection Agency T-shirt underneath, Ron Simmons show up, and before they can fight The Ascension, The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) make a surprise appearance. They say that the ring contains racehorses and thoroughbreds, but calls The Ascension "jackasses" before fighting them. The Outlaws completely destroy The Ascension, then JBL hits the Clothesline From Hell on Viktor.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announce John Cena's opponent: Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane. All the while, they use a drum roll guy that they constantly give crap, and a guy with a horn plays "Taps" afterwards.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) guest on commentary for the next match.

Paige and Natalya beat Alicia Fox and Summer Rae with the PTO.

The Royal Rumble kick-off match will be The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E) vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose.

Rusev beats R-Truth with the Accolade.

Seth Rollins runs into Brock Lesnar backstage again. Lesnar expresses his hope that Rollins takes down John Cena tonight, so he can focus on taking down Rollins himself on Sunday.

Jey Uso beats The Miz.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) will take on The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) at Royal Rumble.

John Cena beats Seth Rollins, Kane and Big Show in a 3-on-1 handicap match after a surprise appearance by Sting, his first since Survivor Series, leading to Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback getting their jobs back. After the match, Triple H wants Sting, whom he says doesn't belong here. Not long after, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up, and Lesnar lays waste to Rollins, Kane and Show.

Here's the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
