Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 30, 2015

Bobby Roode shows up with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in his hands. It doesn't belong to him, but at the same time, it means so much. He mentions how he lost the title earlier in the year, and tells Eric Young he's going to spill his blood. As for the World title, Roode has something that belongs to Lashley and Lashley has something that belongs to him, and Roode calls Lashley out. Lashley shows up, and Roode tells him he has no ill will against him, and respects him for fighting off the Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki). He tells Lashley he's owed a rematch, and he wants it tonight. Lashley gives it to him without hesitation, then Roode asks why they should wait, and asks for a ref. Instead, Austin Aries shows up with his World title shot briefcase. He ponders whether to take the winner of Roode vs. Lashley, or cash in and make it a three-way dance. MVP shows up and insults all of them, saying the World title belongs to the Beat Down Clan. Lashley then decides to make it a four-way dance between him, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries and MVP.

Kurt Angle plans to take on The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Samoa Joe, Low Ki, Kenny King) in a Lethal  with his own Team Angle at Lockdown next week.

Taryn Terrell retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Gail Kim and Madison Rayne in a three-way match.

Magnus has a camera crew follow him to a bar. He plans to work stuff out with Bram.

Tommy Dreamer is here...

Kurt Angle gets Gunner to join his team by slapping him to "awaken the warrior within."

Rockstar Spud and Mark Andrews (now known as "Mandrews") are in New York City, and they plan to challenge Ethan Carter III and Tyrus to a tag team match.

Tommy Dreamer shows up. He calls out Eric Young, who shows up. He tells Eric he's making a mistake throwing his friendship with Bobby Roode away and burning bridges with Roode and the fans. He calls Dreamer "a fat loser from this dump," and says he wants to not just burn a bridge, he wants to blow it up. He then hits a piledriver on Dreamer, then attacks the timekeeper and throws a steel chair into the ring. Before he can use it, Bobby Roode rushes in to save Tommy Dreamer. Eric Young attacks the timekeeper again as he retreats.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) take on "The Cowboy" James Storm and Abyss for the TNA World Tag Team Championships in a steel cage! But tonight, Jeff Hardy has to dance with Abyss in a Monster's Ball match, and he's brought plenty of weapons...

Magnus is able to reason with Bram concerning the Feast or Fired match from last week and get him back on his side. When Bram asks him to take an alternate exit out of the bar because it's quicker, Magnus soon figures out something is up. It's a set-up: Bram attacks Magnus and knocks him out with a billiards ball.

Jeff Hardy beats Abyss in a Monster's Ball match with help from Matt Hardy and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards), who help Jeff Hardy fight off The Revolution ("The Cowboy" James Storm, Manik, The Great Sanada).

The Hardys are prepared for next week...

Austin Aries says Lashley may have made a mistake putting him in the World title match tonight.

Rockstar Spud and Mandrews' challenge to Ethan Carter III and Tyrus is denied by EC3, but he does sic The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godders) on them.

Rockstar Spud and Mandrews beat The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godders) in what is Mandrews' TNA debut. After the match, Tyrus jumps Spud and Mandrews, before EC3 beats up Spud. EC3 then puts Spud and Mandrews in a handicap match against Tyrus next week...and it'll be in a steel cage.

Mandrews is distraught as an enraged Rockstar Spud tells Ethan Carter III through the camera that he isn't a loser.

Lashley retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Roode, MVP and Austin Aries. During the match, Eric Young screws After the match, The Beat Down Clan (Samoa Joe, Kenny King, Low Ki) and Eric Young attack all of MVP's opponents, but they are forced to retreat when Kurt Angle and Gunner charge the ring.

After the match, Bobby Roode challenges Eric Young to a Six Sides of Steel match. Austin Aries asks to join Team Angle, and Lashely chooses to stand alone when Angle wants him to join his team. Kurt Angle is still one man short for his team.
