Triple H runs into the ring and hits Billy Gunn with the Pedigree before placing Chyna on top of Billy Gunn and dragging Korderas back into the ring to make the count.
Big Show shows up. He says that he has frequently heard about "tough love" from The Undertaker as of late, and tells him that if he ever leaves him high and dry again, that will be the last thing he ever does, as he is tired of his rules and his games. He then calls The Undertaker out to the ring. Paul Bearer shows up instead, and says he and The Undertaker could not leave him alone and now they no longer have the tag team championships. He tells Big Show to remember he made him and that he can break him. Big Show immediately kicks Bearer in the face and tells him he wants the man, not the messenger. The Undertaker shows up, grabs Big Show and whispers something into his ear. Big Show is confused by what The Undertaker has told him, then 'Taker speaks into the microphone. The Undertaker tells Big Show he did a pretty good number on Paul Bearer, then grabs Big Show by the throat and tells him that if he ever disrespects him like that again, he will rip his throat out and choke him to death with his own tongue.
A black limousine is seen pulling up to the arena.
Mankind shows up. He says that when he was fourteen, there used to be this game called electronic football and he used to play the heck out of it. One time, he was lying on his bed and playing a game of Coleco electronic football, and while he did, he happened to be naked and his mother walked in. Even though he was not technically doing anything wrong, it still stands out in his mind as the most embarrassing moment of the last twenty years...until he lost to WWF co-owner Shane McMahon, that is. Now that Shane has embarrassed him, he is making a wager that one way or another, he will get even somehow, someway, someday. He did not come out here to talk about his mom, his nudity or electronic football, but to talk about The Rock. He was sitting in the back when The Rock challenged both Big Show and The Undertaker to a handicap match, and he got goosebumps as he knew The Rock had not only the ability but the testicular fortitude to defeat both men, and if there is one thing he admirs about The Rock, it is the fact that The Rock's testicles are full of fortitude. He then knew that the people wanted him as "The People's Partner," and that he himself wanted to be The People's Partner. He then brings out The Rock, who shows up. The Rock says Mankind talks about him like they are friends and like he is going to invite him to Miami for Christmas dinner, then states that they are not friends and probably never will be. He does recognize that Mankind is, without a doubt, the crazies son-of-a-bitch he has ever seen. He also tells Mankind to never talk about his testicles again. Suddenly, Shane shows up with Triple H and Chyna. He congratulates The Rock and Mankind on becoming WWF Tag Team Champions, but says they are focused on the WWF Championship and not the tag team titles. Last Monday night, they were both unable to receive title shots, but there must still be a #1 contender to take on the WWF Champion at Unforgiven, and puts both of them in a match against each other to determine a #1 contender. Shane then says he wants the Mankind and The Rock of old to go at it, and not "powderpuff." If he gets "powderpuff," both of them will be suspended for six months starting tomorrow night. Shane also announces that Triple H will be defending the WWF Championship against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, much to the chagrin of Triple H, who is both surprised and irritated at the news. Shane, Chyna and Triple H leave. Mankind then tells The Rock that the last time the both of them left Worcester, Massachusetts, he took the WWF Championship from The Rock, and asks that The Rock return the favor and make him look good in the match. The Rock asks if Mankind is asking him to lay down and let him beat him. Mankind says yes, saying "That sounds cool to Mankind." The Rock says that it would be cooler to take Mankind's half of the tag team titles, shine it up real nice, turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass. Mankind looks at his title belt and says he doesn't think it is going to fit. The Rock says it will fit, and then he will also stick his belt up Mankind's ass.
We see the black limousine parked outside of the arena again.
Ring announcer Howard Finkel shows up and chews out fellow ring announcer Tony Chimel for humiliating him last week, and says that this week, he has a proposal for him that the won't refuse: a tuxedo match. He says WWF co-owner Shane McMahon has put him in the unenviable position of facing a tag team partner who is more like a brother, but the rewards are sweet on the other end. He hopes The Rock understands that he respects him, but the last time they were in Worcester, Massachusetts, he walked away WWF Champion. Now they are qualifiying for a shot at the WWF Championship, and he hopes that The Rock doesn't shove a tag team title up his ass.

Kane runs in and boots Big Show to save X-Pac from a choke slam, despite being asked by X-Pac to stay in the back. The Undertaker tells Big Show that Kane will have his day, and tells Kane that he is pathetic. He says the weaker X-Pac becomes, the weaker Kane becomes, and the weaker Kane becomes, the more vulnerable he becomes.

He then brings out "Stone Cold" Steve Austin so he can prove that he is the kind of WWF Champion he says he is. However, instead of bringing out "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, he brings out Gillberg, who is still wearing the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Triple H, Chyna and Shane all have a laugh, then Shane guests on commentary.
Despite three Spears, Triple H retains the WWF Championship against Gillberg. After the match, Triple H brings a steel chair to the ring, knocks out the referee and works on the knee of Gillberg with the chair.
We see the black limousine parked outside of the arena for a fourth time.
We see footage from earlier today where Al Snow meets The Big Boss Man in his hotel room. Boss Man makes Snow a meal, and Snow eats it. Snow says it does not taste bad. He says that Uncle Harry's Restaurant across the street cooked it, and tells him not to get one of the paws in his teeth, as the dish is "100% Grade A Pepper." A distraught Al Snow gets up, and Boss Man dumps the food off the tray before hitting him with it. He says that Pepper will eat every bite of Pepper, and hits him with his nightstick, telling him that he made sure that Pepper stayed with Snow forever and that if he bit him again, he would send him straight to Hell. He then tells Snow he is hardcore, Pepper is "a little bitch" and that Snow is a "dumb son of a bitch." He then has a bite of Pepper, and says it "tastes like chicken."

During the match, The Rock inadvertently pushes referee Jimmy Korderas to the mat as he falls victim to the Mandible Claw, and Shane plays referee until both men are down. Triple H and Chyna show up and attack Mankind and The Rock, and Shane pretends not to see anything before calling for the bell. The Rock and Mankind get back up and fight back, and Shane declares the match to have ended in a double disqualification "due to outside interference and himself as special guest referee," screwing The Rock and Mankind out of the WWF Championship again.

Shamrock takes Blackman down with a judo throw and knocks him down with the nunchaku, then Chris Jericho shows up. Jericho says that since Shamrock has decided to be destroyed by Y2J, he dares him to follow him into the parking room so he can teach him a lesson he will never, ever forget. Venis and Blackman get back up, and Blackman hits Venis with the nunchaku. Meanwhile, Shamrock finds who he really thinks is Jericho, but is really ring announcer Howard Finkel in disguse. The Fink blasts mace into Shamrock's eyes, then Jericho hits Shamrock with a shovel before putting him in the Lion Tamer. Finkel takes pictures as Jericho has Shamrock in the hold, then Finkel grabs Jericho's bags and they both get out of there after Jericho makes an "Oh, my God! I killed Kenny!" reference from South Park. Finkel is palced in the trunk while Jericho gets in the driver's seat
Triple H, Chyna and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon show up again. Suddenly, a woman comes out of the back seat of the black limousine parked outside of the arena. Shane says there is still no #1 contender for the WWF Championship; therefore, he demands that Mankind and The Rock come back to the ring to determine a challenger. To ensure that there is no outside interference from Triple H and Chyna, he will be special guest referee. He then gives The Rock five seconds to come down to the ring that end up being more like three. Suddenly, a voice can be heard telling Shane "Shane-o...I think that idea sucks." All of a sudden, Test shows up, and introduces the other two owners of the World Wrestling Federation: Linda and Stephanie McMahon. Linda tells Shane that in the event that he needs to be reminded that with his father Vince not being here tonight, she and Stephanie hold controlling interest. Therefore, Mankind and The Rock will not face each other again tonight; instead, they will team up and face Triple H and Shane McMahon. Shane says she can't do that, but she says she can and that it will be for the WWF Tag Team Championship. She then wishes Shane luck, because she thinks he's going to need it.

Buh Buh Ray, now speaking with a speech impediment that causes him to stutter once again, says Lilian is right when she says they wanted to enter the WWF with an impact, as they are The Dudley Boyz and they are the best tag team in the world. They are here in the WWF to prove just that, and that there are three things the people need to know. D-Von says those three things are "thou shalt not steal," "thou shalt not kill," and "thou shalt not mess with the Dudleys." ("Mess" replaces the word "fuck" here, as this is obviously not Extreme Championship Wrestling.)
Triple H and Shane McMahon attack Mankind before the next match begins.
Mankind and The Rock retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against Triple H and Shane McMahon. During the match, Mankind baseball slides Shane into the commentary table.
