Super Crazy beats Rhino with a hurricanrana pin. After the match, Rhino yells at Steve Corino, then calls Super Crazy to the ring and extends his hand. Super Crazy put his hand out only to be hit with a clothesline followed by a Rhino Bomb.
It is announced that Anarchy Rules is on Sunday, September 19th, and that Taz will be defending the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Masato Tanaka. We then see archival footage of a match between Tanaka and Mike Awesome from Heatwave 1998.
Masato Tanaka beats Mike Awesome with a Tornado DDT off the top rope into two chairs after Awesome kicks out of the Roaring Elbow.
Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television Championship ends after RVD and Lynn are piledriven by The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm). Storm says RVD and Lynn thought they would have some impact and that they were closing this show. Storm says they are closing the shows, since they are the impact players in ECW. We then see The Impact Players attacking Shane Douglas, Sid Vicious, Jerry Lynn, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer (whom they injured), The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) and Sabu (whom they got banned from the United States).
It is announced that Paul E. Heyman made a vow that ECW on TNN would be better than the Monday night shows, and that Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television Championship is on next week, and that there will be a definitive winner. It is also announced that Raven will speak next week for the first time since walking out on World Championship Wrestling, returning to ECW and winning the ECW World Tag Team Championships with "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer.
