Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya, Charlotte, Tamina and James Ellsworth are all in the ring. Before tonight's six-woman tag match, Shane reveals the briefcase for the match, which is white. Shane describes how risky their Money In The Bank Ladder Match will be, and as always, the briefcase guarantees whoever wins it a shot at the SmackDown Women's Championship any time and any place that they want, and that most people who win the briefcase cash in successfully. After everyone in the match says they will be the one who will win the briefcase, Naomi shows up and says she is ready for whoever wins. Suddenly, Lana finally makes her return to SmackDown Live after being off television for some time. Shane says this is the land of opportunity, but that this is not the time; nevertheless, Lana wants in the match. Nobody takes Lana seriously, and Naomi questions if Lana thinks she can hang with the others in the match before asking who in the ring she has beaten. Lana counters with "I can beat you," and Shane has to keep Lana and Naomi apart before telling Lana that she has to earn her way into the match. Lana, at a loss for words, storms off. Shane then asks that tonight's six-woman tag match immediately commence.
Natalya, Tamina and Carmella beat Naomi, Becky Lynch and Charlotte after Lana shows up, distracts Naomi for a few seconds and then trips her on the apron.
Commissioner Shane McMahon meets Mojo Rawley in the back. Mojo says he is clamoring for an opportunity, saying he has beaten Jinder Mahal since Jinder showed up on the blue brand and hopes that there is a reason he was left out of the Money In The Bank other than that he was forgotten, as he has not been on television in two months. Shane gives him an opportunity to enter the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. All Mojo Rawley has to do is beat Jinder Mahal again, and he is in.
AJ Styles beats Dolph Ziggler.
It's time for Fashion Files. Fandango says that Primo and Epico may not be behind what happened last week. All of a sudden, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) need Breezango's (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) help. They offer them male rompers, but they are not interested until Tyler Breeze wears one. The New Day asks for some information on The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), and are handed boxes of stuff on the Usos from the evidence room.
John Cena returns to SmackDown Live on July 4th!
The Singh Brothers (Sunil and Samir Singh) introduce Jinder Mahal before the next match.
Jinder Mahal beats Mojo Rawley. After the match, Jinder Mahal says he has dismantled Mojo just like he will Randy Orton at Money In The Bank.. He says anyone who supports Orton is "sick," and that he is the antidote and the medicine. After Money In The Bank, the WWE Universe will accept him as their modern day maharaja.
Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. Orton says he is letting Jinder Mahal run his mouth as actions speak louder than words, as he doesn't need to say a word and Jinder will hear him just fine at Money In The Bank.
The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) beat Primo and Epico. After the match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up and say they will retain the SmackDown tag team titles at Money In The Bank while they make fun of The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods).
Dasha Fuentes interviews Sami Zayn, who has watched plenty of footage to prepare for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. He says Nakamura has plenty of charisma and is unpredictable because of it as he announces he will do commentary of Nakamura's match. Baron Corbin shows up and lays Sami out, and says a spot on commentary has opened up.
As Commissioner Shane McMahon says he will deal with Baron Corbin after what has just happened, Naomi shows up, wanting a match against Lana at Money In The Bank with the SmackDown Women's Championship on the line. Despite not being obligated to face Lana, Naomi wants the match. Shane McMahon tells her she's got her match.
TJP says he gets his opportunity at the Cruiserweight title from "the backstabbing Neville" tonight on 205 Live.
Baron Corbin guests on commentary for the next match.
"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura beats Kevin Owens. After the match, Baron Corbin hits Nakamura with End of Days.
On Talking Smack, it is debated on whether or not Lana is deserving of a shot at the SmackDown Women's Championship.
Before the next match, Noam Dar says Cedric Alexander called him "a snake" and Alicia Fox "a black widow," and chalks it up to jealousy. After mentioning Alicia and Cedric's past history, he announces that Alicia Fox is at home recovering home from a neck injury, but she wants Cedric to move on.
Cedric Alexander beats Noam Dar. After the match, Cedric tells Noam that he is done with this and has moved on, and if Noam is smart, he will, too.
We see a video package of TJP from the Cruiserweight Classic to now.
Dasha Fuentes interviews TJP. After saying that this show - and the Cruiserweight division - was created to showcase his talents, he says Neville made a mistake backstabbing him, and Neville has now gone from having an Austin Aries problem to having a TJP problem.
Mustafa Ali beats Louie Valle by reversing a roll-up after the distraction by Drew Gulak. Strangely, this gets Drew Gulak's praise, and Gulak tells him if he stays on the ground and stops listening to the fans, he will find success. Not surprisingly, Ali hits Gulak with a high-flying maneuver before breaking his "No High Flying!" sign.
We see a video package of Rich Swann.
Akira Tozawa and Rich Swann are talking when Titus O'Neil shows up and tries to get Tozawa on the Titus Brand, saying Apollo Crews recommended him. Tozawa doesn't seem to be enthralled by the idea.
Dasha Fuentes interviews Neville. He says TJP is not a problem, but a tool and a means to an end. Neville says TJP has outlived his usefulness, and that it is time to dispose of him now that he has served his purpose, saying he is not on his level.
Neville retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against TJP with the Rings of Saturn.
Bray Wyatt shows up to start tonight's show. He says that last night was the beginning of the end. He had a chance to slay "The Beast" and save everyone, but "they" took his weapon and "stabbed" him. However, he is still alive and very much the god he has always been. He passes judgment deems his Fatal 5-Way opponents from last night "guilty," and says they will all be punished one by one, starting tonight with Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns shows up before Bray can say much more, and takes the microphone. A referee shows up, and after some hesitation, Roman punches Bray after telling him the crowd is proof that this is his yard and asking him if he knows what happens when he runs his mouth in it. This starts a match.
Roman Reigns beats Bray Wyatt.
Charly Caruso interviews Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Enzo plans to get his hands on who attacked him, and Cass says they don't know who did it before saying it was not him who attacked Enzo. To make sure Enzo does not get attacked again, Cass will have Enzo's back in his matches.
It is announced that Bayley is at home recuperating from last night's match.
Alexa Bliss meets up with General Manager Kurt Angle backstage, and tells Angle she is done with Bayley. She wants to celebrate not just her title win, but her entire life, but Angle nixes the idea, saying that the "This Is Your Life" segment was the worst-rated segment on Raw last week. He also reminds her that she promised Nia Jax a shot at the Raw Women's title, and holds her to that promise tonight.
Elias Sampson (no longer being called "The Drifter") plays guitar and sings for the crowd, once again bashing the city, the people in it and also Dean Ambrose. Ambrose shows up, smacks the microphone into Samson and beats him up before demanding The Miz and an Intercontinental title rematch. Miz appears on the TitanTron, saying there will be no rematch tonight and that he will be celebrating the beginning of the comeback tour. Samson then attacks Ambrose from behind.
Backstage, Dean Ambrose runs into General Manager Kurt Angle as he looks for The Miz. Angle tells Ambrose to leave the building and take the night off.
Samoa Joe shows up. Ge pans to make this very simple: what stands in front of the fans is a man who does not fear Brock Lesnar, and incapable of fearing him because he envies everything he has. Joe wants to enter, beat people up and leave just like Lesnar, and wants the ability to instill fear in other men at his own behest. He then Paul Heyman to advocate for him, negotiate his contract and run his errands. He also wants the Universal Championship, and a tGreat Balls of Fire, he will get in the ring, stare him in the eye, take him down and take the Universal title from him. Heyman shows up and puts Samoa Joe on a pedestal, understands Joe does not fear Lesnar, and says that Lesnar does not fear Joe, either. What surprises Heyman is that Joe likes the fact that Lesnar does not fear him and is looking for that. He says that Finn Balor vs. Brock Lesnar was the best possible scenario, because there was a story to tell and guaranteed money, then says Joe vs. Lesnar is the "worst case scenario" as Joe wants to take the fight to Lesnar and Lesnar won't leave the same way he came in at Great Balls of Fire, but tells Joe that Lesnar will be his "worst case scenario." If Joe wants Lesnar, he has him. Joe and Heyman shake hands, then Joe gets Heyman's attention, takes him to the side, and tells him something very bad will happen to him: he will wrap his hand around him and put him in the Coaquina Clutch, and that he will pass out, and asks Heyman to describe the experience to Lesnar so he can explain to him what will happen to him at Great balls of Fire in excruciating detail as only he can. He then applies the Coaquina Clutch to Heyman until referees rush in and restore order, then Joe leaves.
Backstage, General Manager Kurt Angle confronts Samoa Joe, who says he will take out anyone who gets in the way of himself and Brock Lesnar, and asks Angle if he is in his way. Rollins has to step up, and says he is. He tells Joe he beat Finn Balor and not him, and that he is not Finn Balor, Bray Bray Wyatt or Roman Reigns. Seth tells Joe he has beaten him before and he will beat him again. Angle makes this an official match for later tonight.
Sheamus and Cesaro quickly beat Heath Slater and Rhyno. After the match, Sheamus says this is how a talented tells pulls it off, and brags about beating The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) last night, saying they picked the match that they thought would give them the advantage, and ened up not having the advantage. They then say they don't just set the bar, they are the bar.
TJP runs into Neville backstage, congratulates him on the win last night, then asks about his title shot. Neville says he is a man of his word, and tells him that if he handles his business tonight and beats Mustafa Ali, he will speak with General Manager Kurt Angle.
TJP quickly beats Mustafa Ali. After the match, Neville shows up and tells TJP that he has spoken to General Manager Kurt Angle and that he is not a miracle worker. As TJP demands they speak to Angle together and heads to the back, Neville attacks him from behind and tells him he has his title shot tomorrow night on 205 Live.
We see another video from Goldust, where Goldust says that R-Truth cannot possibly sit in his director's chair, and that this is a game to R-Truth. He, however, sees the bigger picture, and soon, the biggest names in Hollywood and the brightest stars in the sky will be glittering gold, as the Golden Age is back.
Sasha Banks is talking with Mickie James and Dana Brooke when Alexa Bliss shows up. Sasha Banks leaves, but Mickie and Dana do not. Alexa then tries to turn them against Nia Jax, saying there is a "Nia Jax problem" but it does not work, as Dana tells Alexa "We don't have a Nia Jax problem...you do." Mickie then says they will be at ringside to see what happens to Alexa.
Before the next match, General Manager Kurt Angle pulls Corey Graves to the side concerning another text. Corey does not explain anything about their conversation to Michael Cole and Booker T.
Mike Rome tries to ask General Manager Kurt Angle what his discussion with Corey Graves was about. Angle says it is a private matter and leaves the building. Before the door closes, Dean Ambrose makes his way back into the building.
Kalisto grabs the tights to beat Titus O'Neil after reversing an inside cradle where Titus grabbed Kalisto's tights.
The Miz and Maryse notice that Big Cass is down. Enzo Amore rushes in to check on Cass along with a ref, and the only clue Enzo gets is a chain.
Enzo Amore tells Big Cass that whoever attacked Cass also has a chain when he was attacked. Enzo then reveals he has a match, and finds out he will have to get a new tag team partner as Cass is being checked out.
The ring is set up for The Miz and Maryse's Intercontinental Championship celebration. Miz says he deserves the title, and tonight, he kicks off the Intercontinental Championship comeback tour. Miz talks about how he restored the Intercontinental Championship to the heights that it once knew, and raises a glass to himself and Maryse. He also compliments the man in the bear costume, saying it is a great idea for the tour. Maryse says it is not her idea, and Miz says the bear suit man is not his idea, either. The man in the bear suit gets a Skull Crushing Finale, but upon the realization that it is not Dean, Miz tosses him out of the ring anyway. A present is brought out, and Miz attacks it, thinking it is Dean, and Maryse tries to stop him. It turns out there is a grandfather clock inside, and Miz broke it. Maryse slaps Miz and leaves, then Miz demands Dean Ambrose show himself. It becomes apparent that Dean is a disguised as a cameraman, and Ambrose hits Miz with Dirty Deeds when Miz turns around. Dean swigs some champagne, then leaves.
Eddie, Anthony and Enzo Shirtz are the Little Caesars Pizza Seat Upgrade recipients for this week.
Enzo Amore reveals that his substitute tag team partner for tonight is none other than Big Show...who loosens up and plays the role of Big Cass before the match.
Big Show and Enzo Amore beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).
We see a Superstar profile of Alexa Bliss, brought to you by the U.S. Navy.
Backstage, Big Show and Enzo Amore catch up with Big Cass, who finds it strange that Big Show has shown up for the first time in weeks just to be Enzo's partner, and thinks Big Show is jumping them. Big Show says if he was attacking them, they would see him coming. Enzo then considers celebrating tonight's victory, and Show tells him to go ahead and celebrate with Cass
R-Truth cuts another Goldust-style promo, telling Goldust he is coming for him.
Mike Rowe interviews Alexa Bliss. Alexa says the only thing she regrets is being on the red brand, as she deserves better than what the rest of the Women's Division is getting.
Alexa Bliss retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship by disqualification after Dana Brooke and Mickie James - who show up at ringside to watch the match as promised - attack Alexa Bliss after she shoves them. After the match, Nia Jax chases Alexa Bliss to the back, then takes her anger out on Dana and Mickie.
Paul Heyman is being tended to in the trainer's room when his smartphone suddenly rings. "BROCK" is seen on the screen. Heyman picks up the phone, and tells Brock Lesnar that it is time to instill fear of Brock Lesnar into Samoa Joe, and that next week, Brock Lesnar is not only showing up on Raw, but that the beast will be unleashed.
Samoa Joe beats Seth Rollins with the Coaquina Clutch after Bray Wyatt's intro plays only for Bray Wyatt to never show up.
Charly Caruso interviews The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in the Social Media Lounge. Matt says the timing for them to come back to the WWE was right, as they started there and want to finish there. Jeff said he would be back in 2009, and here he is. Matt says they chose the Steel Cage Match because Sheamus and Cesaro are experts at "not going away," and want to beat them in a Steel Cage Match so they can move on. They have a message for Sheamus and Cesaro: this is your last chance and if it doesn't happen for you, it will not happen. They will end this.
Kalisto beats Apollo Crews with a Salida Del Sol off of Titus after Apollo and Titus waste too much time formulating a strategy.
The Miz beats Dean Ambrose to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the seventh time after pushing Dean Ambrose into referee John Cone when Maryse slapping Miz does not work and gets Maryse ejected. As John Cone is about to call for a disqualification win for The Miz, Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on a distracted Ambrose for the win. (Had Dean Ambrose been disqualified, the Intercontinental title would have changed hands.)
Money In The Bank comes to pay-per-view and the WWE Network in two weeks!
Charly Caruso interviews Bayley. She says Alexa Bliss thinks a lot of things, but she is no Mankind or The Rock. Alexa does not know her or how much the Raw Women's title means to her, and has watched a little bit of The Sandman, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and even the new Wonder Woman movie. She's not here to hurt, but she is willing to do what it takes to get back at Alexa and take back the Raw Women's title.
Sasha Banks and Rich Swann beat Alicia Fox and Noam Dar after Sasha hits Noam Dar with the double knees to the outside.
"The Drifter" Elias Samson plays guitar and sings for the crowd, where he proceeds to mock the town of Baltimore, Maryland and everyone in the arena before singing about tonight's show.
Alexa Bliss retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Bayley in a Kendo Stick On A Pole Match.
Sheamus and Cesaro beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in a Steel Cage Match to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships, climbing up the steel cage and landing on the outside just before Jeff Hardy can drag Matt Hardy out through the steel cage door.
Neville retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Austin Aries in a Submission Match. Aries gets the Last Chancery in, and makes Neville tap, but it does not count as it happened outside of the ring. Neville wins it with a Red Arrow to the back of Aries followed by the Rings of Saturn.
Great Balls of Fire will be on pay-per-view and the WWE Network on July 9th!
Samoa Joe beats Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor to become #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship and face Brock Lesnar for the title at Great Balls of Fire, after Joe gets the Coaquina Clutch on Finn and puts him out after Finn hits Roman Reigns with a Coup De Grace following a Sling Blade to counter a Spear attempt.
On Raw Talk, Samoa Joe makes it known that he is prepared for his match with Brock Lesnar.
War Machine (Hanson and Rowe) beat Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara. After the match, Rowe says it is no secret that Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a very important town, both for them and for wrestling. The first time they became a team was right here, and a year-and-a-half ago, they became the ROH World Tag Team Champions here. They say that something is missing, and they are done waiting for it. They tell The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) to go home, kiss their children, say their prayers and kill their YouTube channel, because they are next.
"The Almighty" Christopher Daniels tells "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes he's got what he wanted in a one-on-one match with him. At Best in the World, he continues his dream by ending "The Nightmare."
Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL, BUSHI, Sanada, Tetsuya Naito) beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe), Bully Ray and Dalton Castle after BUSHI spits blinding mist into Jay Briscoe's eyes and Naito rolls Jay up as Jay Briscoe and Dalton Castle argue over who pulls out a table. Dalton Castle is blamed for the loss when The Boys push Dalton out of the way, and The Boys hide under the ring.
Hangman Page say they are lined up outside of the arena for Adam Cole, so they can see his swan song and say goodbye. Tonight, he kicks Adam Cole out of Ring of Honor just like "The Villain" Marty Scurll kicked Cole out of Bullet Club.
We see a video package of Punishment Martinez.
Jay Lethal says his story with "The Last Real Man" Silas Young is far from over. He and Bobby Fish - who was not hard to find and is really pissed off - are in a tag team title match with Silas and The Beer City Bruiser. He respects Silas as a wrestler, but tells Bobby Fish to stay away from Silas...because Silas belongs to him.
We hear from Roppongi Vice (Trent Barretta and Rocky Romero) are not happy with The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) attacking them, and challenge them and Kenny Omega to a match. Trent Barretta tells Rocky they have a third guy, but when they are about to reveal who that third man is, they are super kicked by the Bucks, who are accompanied by Hangman Page.
Hangman Page beats Adam Cole in a fierce battle after two Rites of Passage. After the match, Adam Cole thanks the fans when he is attacked from behind by Page, who has shoved Todd Sinclair to the mat and removed his belt. He then proceeds to whip Cole with the belt from behind. "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian then goes after Page, and forces him to retreat. He then takes the belt and runs to the back after Page.
Ethan Carter III shows up to start the show, and it is noticed that there is a barbershop quintet in the ring. The quartet sings EC3's theme song while a woman plays violin to celebrate EC3 being #1 contender for the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. At Slammiversary, he takes on Lashley for the Impact World title, and he has something special for him: fight music, which is sung by the quintet. Suddenly, Alberto El Patron, Bruce Prichard, Karen Jarrett, Tyrus and Bruce Prichard show up. Prichard makes a match between El Patron and EC3 with both the GFW Global Championship and EC3's Impact World title shot on the line...in Six Sides of Steel.
Moose retains the Impact Grand Championship against Eli Drake by judge's decision.
In footage from earlier today, Allie questions why Rosemary would help her. Rosemary shows up and says Allie needs protecting due to all the danger that she is in.
It is announced that Impact Wrestling is going back on the road starting August 5th at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in Staten Island in New York City, New York.
We hear from Matt Sydal, who says tonight's match between Andrew Everett and Low Ki will set the tone for the X Division going forward.
Allie beats Amber Nova. Swoggle is seen in the crowd before the match.
Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park are seen in a golf cart on their way to the arena.
The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) beat The Veterans of War (Mayweather and Wilcox) in a no-disqualification match to win the Global Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships and the GFW tag team title tournament after Konnan hits Mayweather in the back of his hurt leg with a baseball bat before hitting Wilcox in the back with one of the TNA tag title belts.
McKenzie Mitchell interviews Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park backstage. JB does not want to get in the ring against Scott Steiner, but Joseph Park tells JB he has to be competent, saying he has faced adversity all his life by bucking up, and says that between now and Slammiversary, they will learn everything there is to learn about tag team wrestling. Jeremy Borash reacts by simply asking Park "Have you lost your damn mind?"
Sonjay Dutt guests on commentary for the next match.
Low Ki retains the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship against Andrew Everett.
Lashley plans to make Impact great by keeping up with the people who want to rise with him, so that they can all raise the bar together.
Rockstar Spud finally gets his revenge on Swoggle and hits his ankle with a hammer. As Spud gives Swoggle a beating, security have to tell him to leave after Spud scares off the Impact referees who try to stop him initially.
Alberto El Patron retains the Global Force Wrestling Global Championship against Ethan Carter III in a Six Sides of Steel Match to go on to Slammiversary to face Lashley for the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.
