Before the next match - which is sponsored by Mustafa Ali - John Skyler says that he and Jason Hotch are embracing the change in TNA, but the change they are looking forward to the most is Chris Sabin losing the X Division Championship and that he will give him a preview of that when he beats him.
Chris Sabin beats John Skyler.
Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Alex Shelley. Shelley says he has mentored a lot of future superstars and has teamed up with a lot of people, so he knows tag team dynamics. He says The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers) has no dynamics and wants The System to feel it when he contorts Eddie Edwards, because when one component breaks, the whole thing crashes.
Tasha Steelz beats Xia Brookside after grabbing the tights on a roll-up.
We hear from ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey), who give Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and Jame Drake) credit where credit is due before stating that they lost on their world title shot and had to become sore losers to weasel their way into another title opportunity. He says it will be two-out-of-three falls, and while the Veterans took them to their limits, ABC won out. He then says the Veterans had to take a shortcut after that. Chris Bey says there is no love for the Grizzled Young Veterans, who soon attack them from behind and crush Ace Austin's arm with the lid of a road crate before security rushes out to restore order.
Backstage, Frankie Kazarian is confronted for his recent actions by Jake Something, who says he used to look up to him. Kazarian says if he does not want to look up to him, then he should not look at him. Jake says that he tried to talk, but there are other ways of doing things.
Zachary Wentz beats "Speedball" Mike Bailey following the cheap shot from Trey Miguel after Wentz grabs at the referee's leg following a Tornado Kick from Bailey. After the match, Trey and Wentz beat up Bailey, then Trent Seven shows up and fights them off. Steve Maclin soon shows up and attacks Trent before pounding on Bailey, then "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth shows up and fights Maclin. Wentz gets a superkick, as does Maclin, causing Maclin and The Rascalz (Trey and Wentz) to retreat.
We hear from Kon, who says that he is the biggest man in TNA and that he proved it last week. He says he will prove it again by breaking two men with his bare hands.
We hear from Rhino. He says digital media means nothing to him, but championship gold does, and he will take the Digital Media title when he tears Crazzy Steve in half and makes him feel so much of the pain that he enjoys he will not know what to do with it.
Trinity and Jordynne Grace beat The Shawtourage ("The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans) with the Starstruck to Savannah Evans.
Backstage, we hear from Deaner, who says that he is a man at a crossroads with a big decision to make and a string of bad luck. AJ Francis introduces himself and proposes that they team up, but when Deaner and Francis bring up Joe Hendry, Hendry shows up. Hendry tells Francis that nobody in the locker room likes him and that nobody on social media likes him, either. Francis chuckles and reminds Hendry of how he slammed him so hard he nearly killed him, and says that since that did not get through to him, he will be taking a different approach. After Francis leaves, Deaner tells Hendry not to speak for him ever again.
Kon beats Richard Adonis and Ori Gold in a two-on-one handicap match in seconds. After the match, he snaps Richard Adonis' neck, then does the same to Ori Gold. Before Kon can do the same to Ori Gold, however, PCO shows up and brawls with Kon. Security rushes in to restore order, and even with two dozen security guards, the two of them are no match for PCO and Kon, who keep on brawling. As both men grab each others' throats, security jumps at them again, and PCO fends them all off while Kon choke slams one security guard into a few more on the outside. PCO then clotheslines Kon out of the ring before diving into him and numerous security guards.
"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander beats Alan Angels with an ankle lock. After the match, Alexander is attacked from the front row by a fan, who then removes his mask and reveals himself to be Simon Gotch.
Alex Shelley beats Eddie Edwards after avoiding the Boston Knee Party and pinning Eddie after he misses. After the match, Brian Myers attacks Alex Shelley. Myers goes for the Roster Cut from the corner, but KUSHIDA shows up and fights both Eddie and Myers. Kevin Knight also shows up to even the numbers game, and he dives at Eddie and Myers from the top rope with a springboard dive.
Here are the must-see moments from tonight's show!
