Chris Sabin beats Jason Hotch when Hotch inadvertently takes out John Skyler with a tope suicida meant for Chris Sabin following a John Skyler cheap shot.
We hear from Mustafa Ali, who says that the future of the X Division hinges up on choice. He says Chris Sabin is the most persistent image in the X Division, and while he is ten-time champion, he has lost the title nine times to get there and has buckled under the pressure of being champion. Mustafa Ali then sees himself as a visionary who is up to the task and ready and eager to revitalize and renew the X Division as TNA forges a brave new future.
We hear from The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). Eddie Edwards says KUSHIDA's team is in trouble, because The System works. Moose tells Alex Shelley that he will get the beating of a lifetime in their no-disqualification match when Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and bars The System as well as anyone on Shelley's side from ringside for that match.
Backstage, we hear from Chris Sabin. He admits that he was excited to see Mustafa Ali coming to TNA, but now that has run its course after seeing how he really is. He says Mustafa will soon find out why he is who he is.
"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander guests on commentary for the next match.
Simon Gotch beats Jack Price with a bulldog choke, and refuses to let go until "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander confronts him. Both men have a staredown before Gotch steps backwards out of the ring.
We hear from The Grizzled Young Vets (Zack Gibson and James Drake). Zack Gibson says they are here to beat the best and become tag team champs, and while ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) are among the best in the world, their story will only end one way as he has seen the pain etched in them and they will drag them even deeper. James Drake says that if they have to rip Ace's Austin shoulder off or rip the head off Chris Bey, they will do it, then warns the rest of the tag team division to grit their teeth when they see them coming.
We see a video package chronicling the destruction of The Design (Deaner and Kon) and the feud between PCO and Kon.
Steve Maclin beats Trent Seven following the attempted interference by The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) and despite the help from "Speedball" Mike Bailey.
Backstage, we hear from "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw, who admits to being distracted for the past two weeks before getting rid of those distractions, and she plans to turn her big red X into gold. Gail Kim shows up and says Gisele did what she said she wanted her to do, but should have handled it with a lot more grace. Gisele says she will become champion without anyone's help or advice.
Backstage, "Speedball" Mike Bailey helps Seven to the back, then says he and The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) have some fundamental disagreements regarding professional wrestling, as Bailey sees it about bettering one's self. Seven says that tomorrow, they invite The Rascalz to meet them at the peak of Speedball Mountain to see who comes down the other side as the better team and who gets knocked down in an avalanche of failure.
Before the next match, Frankie Kazarian shows up with a chair and asks Eric Young if he wants a verbal debate or a fight before he decides on his time when they fight and declares he is not in the mood. He says it is only natural for one to have ghosts in one's past when in the business for as long as he has, then introduces Eric Young to one of his ghosts: Big Damo, formerly known as Killian Dain in NXT.
Eric Young beats Big Damo. After the match, Eric Young says he does not fully understand what is going on and what is going through Kazarian's mind, but he can ensure that he is very sure what is going through his and that it will not end well for Kazarian. He tells him to get a scarf and some matching shoes and challenge him to a match at No Surrender.
Backstage, we hear from Tasha Steelz, who says that Xia Brookside cannot let things go and wants a rubber match, and now, she has to make an example out of her like she has done to others in the past next week.
Backstage, Jody Threat meets with Dani Luna regarding No Surrender, and Dani says that whoever wins the Knockouts tag titles has them waiting for them. Jody says that isn't just a promise; that's a threat.
George Iceman introduces Ash By Elegance for her debut match.

The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) beat KUSHIDA, Kevin Knight and Alex Shelley after Kevin Knight has to stop himself from knocking Alisha Edwards off the ring apron. After the match, both teams brawl, and Shelley puts Moose in the Border City Stretch. Myers and Eddie have to pull Moose out of the ring to break the hold.
