Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker are at ringside. As Baron is about to start their Dusty Cup celebration, Bron Breakker asks ring announcer Alicia Taylor to announce them as the winner of the Dusty Cup. She also names them "The Wolfdogs," much to the annoyance of Corbin, who says that Vengeance Day was off the charts and that they dominated, and that there is nobody in the company who can stop them. After Corbin jokes with Bron Breakker running into the top rope, Breakker says things go wrong running at twenty-three miles per hour and that Corbin would not have made it over the top rope if he didn't give him a boost. The both of them call out The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo), then Nathan Frazer and Axiom show up for the next match. Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker guest on commentary for the next match.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom beat Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. After the match, Bron Brakker and Baron Corbin attack Frazer and Axiom and throw them out of the ring. Suddenly, The D'Angelo Family show up, and Corbin challenges them for the tag titles next week. Stacks says they have their tag team title match.
Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Ilja Dragunov, who says that he wants answers from Carmelo Hayes.
Ilja Dragunov heads to the ring. Dragunov says that he and Trick Williams went to war on Sunday and that he not only respects him, he likes him, but regardless of that, he could not allow Trick to slay him. He says that Trick gave him everything he had, and if there is anyone who were to beat him, Trick would be a worthy champion. He then says it is his duty to call out one person: Carmelo Hayes. He says that Carmelo has been attacking him with false accusations for months and that there was no mental manipulation between himself and Trick, and that everyone can now see his true color. Dragunov says that Carmelo could not see Trick reaching new heights in NXT, and calls Carmelo Hayes "a traitorous son-of-a-bitch" as he promises to break him. When Carmelo fails to show, Dragunov tells Carmelo to show up before he fights him himself. Dijak shows up instead, and wants to know why Dragunov is obsessed with Carmelo and Trick. Dijak says the two of them are a couple of winners after Vengeance Day, but Dragunov says tonight is not the night and that he is not the man he should mess him tonight. Dijak says that Dragunov likes to call himself "unbesiegbar" but is looking "regular besiegbar" with a broken nose, and Dragunov tells Dijak to get out of his way and that Dijak will suffer like he has never suffered before when they cross paths again. Dijak punches in the nose, but Dragunov gets him with a takedown. Referees and security have to hold both men back.

We hear from Kelani Jordan, who says that the business is not fair and that he is stomping on business, not just standing on it. She says that she has found her place in NXT, and that while NXT has the best women's division, she is not afraid, as fear has never crowned a champion. She says she refuses to settle anything for less, because she wants will be hers.
In the women's locker room, Kiana James and Izzi Dame are not impressed with Kelani and the rest of the women's division, saying everyone is happy to be here. Suddenly, Brinley Reece shows up with a drink, and Kiana and Izzi take it and dump it in the trash.
Carmelo Hayes is in the ring sitting in a metal folding chair. This time, the arena is dark and there is a spotlight on him as the crowd chants "You're not Him!" Carmelo says the villain is always the villain when the hero is telling the story. He then asks why nobody wants to hear his side before telling Trick Williams he is not jealous of his success and that he allowed him to succeed, and that he wanted him to achieve the highest of highs and make his parents proud. He then says he had to take it from him when he got close enough to remind him of his place and remind him of what happens when he bites the hand that feeds him, as Trick crossed him first. Carmelo says they had an agreement where he would get the NXT Championship while Trick will get the North American Championship, but Trick let the people get in his head and believed they were on the same level. He says that Trick went behind his back and tried to take what belonged to him, and when he did, he knew what he had to do. Carmelo then admits that he attacked Trick Williams all that time ago and that he would do it again if he crossed him. Suddenly, Trick Williams' music hits, but Trick does not show and it is revealed to be a trick orchestrated by Carmelo. Carmelo says that Trick is not coming back and that Trick is laid up in the hospital next to Booker T, then says he and Trick are not the same and that the fans are so caught up in the headlines that they pushed him to the sidelines. After stating that nothing gets by him in NXT, he says that Trick tried to be like him, but he was "still a trick." He says that Trick was only his hype man and that this is all it is and all Trick will ever be.
We see the "Man has three faces" vignette from Vengeance Day again.
We see a vignette for Oba Femi, who says that he is "the giant of NXT" and that he stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Roxanne Perez beats Lola Vice following the distraction by Tatum Paxley, who shows up with the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament contract only to get kicked in the head by Lola Vice only for Roxanne to hit Lola with the Pop Rox for the win.

Backstage, Jaida Parker speaks with General Manager Ava, wanting a match with Adrianna Rizzo next week. Ava says that nobody else can be at ringside for the match, and Jaida agrees to the match. Jaida leaves, and Ridge Holland wants a match with Gallus. Ava says that she cannot give him a 3-on-1 match and that he will have to settle with one member at a time, and if he loses at any point, it is over between him and Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang). Ridge accepts the terms.
Ilja Dragunov beats Dijak after Joe Gacy hits Dijak from underneath the ring with what looks like a boxing glove on a stick, allowing Dragunov to hit the H-Bomb for the win. After the match, Dragunov is hit from behind with a chop block by Carmelo Hayes, who then grabs the NXT Championship and nails Dragunov in the face with it.
