Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for June 5, 2021

Alan Steel and Johnny Dotson head to the announce table. Steel says that Dustin Starr gifted Brett Michaels a championship match last week, saying he has done nothing to do it. Brett Michaels soon shows up. Michaels says he pinned Alan Steel last week, and this week, it will happen again and he will become Memphis Heritage Champion. Steel tells Michaels he got lucky as it was a tag team match, but he does mano-a-mano and "champ vs. chump" better than anyone else.

Austin Lane says it is time to prove who is the best of the best in his open challenge from last week. The open challenge is answered by "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx.

Austin Lane beats "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx by submission.

The Skimahorns (Brad and Briar Skimahorn) head to the announce table and bring out Uncle Mikey. Brad says that it is three-on-two today, The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) soon show up. Simon brings out their own back-up in the form of Danny B. Good, who says that "The Hotstepper is back."

The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) and Danny B. Good beat The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey) in a six-man tag match. After the match, The Yung GOATs (Zay Washington and Aaron Roberts) head to the announce table. They agree that it is time to introduce some tag team titles, then Brad Skimahorn says that if anyone will be champions, it will be The Skimahorns. The Posse also jump into the argument as the show goes to break.

We hear from Diana Taylor, who says that everyone is calling her "Dangerous Diana" she did not mean to hurt Paris Kelly and that Paris knows this. She says that Paris has changed since teaming with Eric McMahon to sue her. Diana feels that Eric McMahon is using Paris Kelly and her injury to make himself rich, and tells Paris Kelly she did not mean to hurt her.

Van Viciouss heads to the announce table and says he wants to talk to Maria Starr and show her what a real man is like while insulting the fans and calling Dustin Starr "microphone boy." Maria wants no part of Van Viciouss, and Dustin tells him to get in the ring.

Van Viciouss beats Maxx Stone.

Norman Meklakov heads to the announce table. After Meklakov speaks some Russian, "Big Swole" Justin Cole attacks Meklakov from behind and has to be held back by two referees.

Alan Steel retains the Memphis Heritage Championship against "The GunShow' Brett Michaels after "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, The Revenant of Walker Hayes and The Crowleys (Jacksyn and Otis Crowley) show up and surround the ring, distracting Brett Michaels. This allows Alan Steel to hit Brett Michaels with Twisted Steel to retain.
