Generation NXT - NXT recap for February 26, 2020

Charlotte Flair is greeted by General Manager William Regal when she arrive at the arena.

Cameron Grimes beats Dominik Dijakovic. During the match, Damian Priest shows up and strikes Dijakovic in the back of his right knee with a pipe, then flees through the crowd. Dijakovic miraculously slides back into the ring in time, but Grimes hits him with a double foot stomp to the chest. After the match, referees and medical staff check on Dijakovic.

Backstage, General Manager William Regal announces that next week, there will be qualifying matches where the winners will face each other in a Ladder Match to determine who will become #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship.

We see footage from during the commercial break where Dominik Dijakovic is helped to the back.

Finn Balor shows up. Finn says he is not a "moves," "Internet" "sneaky stooge to the boss" guy, but when he gets into the ring, he is "the guy." He says that he has built brands all over the world and won the big titles, and while everyone is peaking for WrestleMania, he has peaked for 20 years. Finn then asks who will be next to "get that Finn rub," then he is met by Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. Barthel tells Finn Balor that the NXT brand belongs to Walter, who would like to send him his regards. Balor immediately fights Aichner and Barthel, but the numbers game eventually takes over.

We see a vignette with a ticking clock, talk of chaos and several TV screens.

In footage from earlier today, Bianca Belair says that if Charlotte Flair wants the best version of her, she is going to get it.

Xia Li beats Mia Yim with a schoolkid pin after Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzales distract Mia Yim with talk of getting revenge for "taking [Dakota's] spot at WarGames." After the match, Gonzales lays Mia Yim out, and when Xia Li tries to stop her, she is also laid out.

Velveteen Dream addresses Roderick Strong injuring his back and his recent victory against him, then says that is not enough. Next week, he wants Roderick Strong to experience the steel cage.

Tommaso Ciampa beats Austin Theory. After the match, Johnny Gargano rushes into the ring and attacks Ciampa. Ciampa fights back, but after he strikes Austin Theory, who still tries to get a piece of him, Gargano gets the upper hand and superkicks him in the head.

We hear from The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). Roderick Strong wants a steel cage match with Velveteen Dream, as there is nowhere to run or hide when he breaks him for good. Bobby Fish says that Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne got lucky once, but they will not get lucky again. Kyle O'Reilly says that they are still the sharks in the water, and Adam Cole says that all the gold will return to The Undisputed Era.

Killian Dain beats Bronson Reed.

Before the next match, Zack Gibson calls The Forgotten Sons (Jaxson Ryker, Steve Cutler, Wesley Blake) "typical Yanks sticking their noses where they don't belong" as they stick up for the fans and the USA. He says that The Forgotten Sons represent the worst of USA, while Grizzled Young Veterans have taken over all of Europe and will not stop.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) beats The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake).

Backstage, Tegan Nox says she thought she had everything scouted, but she was not ready for Raquel Gonzalez. Next week, Gonzalez will not be a factor when she takes out her frustrations on Dakota Kai in a cage and ends their rivalry where it began: in a cage.

We see another vignette with a ticking clock, talk of chaos and several TV screens.

Next week: Tegan Nox vs. Dakota Kai in a steel cage! Velveteen Dream vs. Roderick Strong in a steel cage!

In footage from moments ago, Damian Priest says that Dominik Dijakovic is in the way of something he wants, and that Keith Lee knows exactly what he wants.

Charlotte Flair beats Bianca Belair. After the match, Charlotte Flair puts Belair's leg through a chair, stomps it and then goes for the Figure Eight, but Rhea Ripley shows up and chases Flair out of the ring to end the show.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
