Before the next match, "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher apologizes to missing a few weeks of action due to injury, then thanks him for giving him time to find an adequate tag team partner: KUSHIDA.
"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and KUSHIDA beat The Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa with the Sakuraba Lock to The Brian Kendrick.
We hear from The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh), who say that their careers are in trouble. They say that their fans expect more from them, but they have let them down when they deserve more. They say that they deserve more, and when they come back to Madison Square Garden, they will be the stars of the show.
Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Mike Kanellis, who says that what goes on in "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese's head is none of his concern, and says that Nese is preparing for the main event while he is doing nothing. Despite some major wins, he is still doing nothing and is sick of it. He says he needs a catalyst for himself to become Cruiserweight Champion. Suddenly, Maria Kanellis shows up and calls his victories meaningless. She then says that maybe she should not be here if Mike cannot figure out how meaningless all those victories are.
Humberto Carrillo and Lince Dorado vs. Drew Gulak and "The Premier" Athlete Tony Nese ends with Gulak and Nese attacking Carrillo and Dorado from behind, with Ariya Daivari joining in shortly afterwards. Gran Metalik runs in to even the odds, then Carrillo challenges Gulak, Nese and Daivari to a six-man tag match. Gulak accepts.
Humberto Carrillo and The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik) beat Drew Gulak, Ariya Daivari and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese. (During the match, the fans are heard chanting for a baby in the crowd. Gulak makes fun of this by saying there is already a baby in the ring and performing "Gentleman" Jervis Cottonbelly's Rock-A-Bye Slam into a powerslam for a near-fall.)
