Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 18, 2019

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up to start tonight's show. Heyman mentions that Seth Rollins necessitated their being here, and calls a Rollins a "revisionist" and a "Burn It Down arsonist," and that Lesnar has a problem with competitors of Rollins' size. He then says Rollins has proved himself a fool, as Lesnar beat them all regardless and Drew McIntyre got up on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose like he will do to Seth Rollins tonight. As he asks Drew McIntyre - who he calls "a career killer" - what he is thinking, McIntyre shows up and says he is earning the respect he has been looking for in WWE. McIntyre mentions how he brutalized Reigns and Ambrose last week, and tells Heyman to find Lesnar a new opponent because Seth Rollins will not make it to WrestleMania after tonight. Suddenly, McIntyre is attacked from behind with a steel chair. McIntyre's assailant happens to be Seth Rollins, and referees tell Seth to head to the back. Rollins responds with multiple steel chair shots to McIntyre's back. Rollins gets in the ring with the steel chair, and Heyman and Lesnar retreat.

Before the next match, Finn Balor wishes the fans a belated St. Patrick's day, and admits that the luck of the Irish was not on his side last week. However, he does not plan on being a former champion for long. Suddenly, Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley show up. Lio Rush says "the little leprachaun is upset because [Lashley] has [Finn's] pot of gold around his waist." He then asks Lashley to hit his new favorite pose and show the fans what they haven't seen in a long time: a championship. Finn tells Lashley to enjoy the Intercontinental Championship while he can, as he will take it back real soon. He then says his mystery partner will get his hands on both him and Lashley, and that mystery partner is Braun Strowman.

Finn Balor and Braun Strowman beat Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley after Lashley wants no part of the match following the beating Strowman gives to Lio Rush.

It is announced that "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey has been fined an undisclosed amount of money for her actions last week.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and her husband Travis Browne are confronted by referee John Cone and security. Cone says that security has been increased to prevent another incident like the one from last week.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Tonight's special guest is Elias. After Michael Cole runs down the card so far for WrestleMania 35, Alexa says he is the only person worthy of hosting the show. She says she feels like a really good talk show host after inspiring people such as Lilly Singh to host her own, then introduces Elias. Elias shows up, and Alexa says that this is a safe place and that nobody will interrupt his big announcement. Elias announces that he will be the headlining musical act at WrestleMania, in "the greatest city of them all" New York City. Elias says that what happened last year is the motivation for this year, and he not lives in the moment in pressure, he thrives in it. He says that if his performance was a game-winning field goal, he would make it every single time, as his performance will the best by virtually anyone. Before he can say what will happen to anyone who dares to interrupt him, No Way Jose's conga line - led by Otis and Tucker of Heavy Machinery - starts dancing around the stage. Alexa apologizes to Elias, saying the conga line should have shown up at the end of the show, but Elias threatens to teach Otis a lesson. Before that can happen, a conga line member attacks Elias from behind, and it happens to be No Way Jose in a mask. No Way Jose dares Elias to get in the ring with him.

Elias beats No Way Jose.

Kurt Angle shows up. Angle says his farewell tour continues with a match in Chicago, Illinois, and with WrestleMania and his final wrestling match only 20 days away, he thanks the McMahon family for letting him pick his farewell match opponent. He says there are so many opponents he wants to face, but one he wants to face ever since he gave him hell after becoming General Manager, and that man is Baron Corbin, who we wants to make tap out so he can retire the happiest man in the world.

Kurt Angle beats Chad Gable with the ankle lock. After the match, Baron Corbin shows up and gloats about taking his General Manager job and humiliating him, but says it will not feel as good as beating and humbling Angle in his very last match. He says that Angle's accomplishments won't matter, as the fans will only remember Angle's last match.

Backstage, Baron Corbin is talking to The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) when Apollo Crews shows up and challenges Corbin to a match. As Corbin tries to dance around the challenge, Apollo asks for a simple yes or no answer and eventually gets a yes. Apollo says nobody likes Corbin because he is difficult, and when Corbin asks The Revival if anyone likes him, they say "Hell no."

In the ring, Charly Caruso interviews Sasha Banks and Bayley. Bayley says they do not duck anybody, and that they will make a special appearance on SmackDown Live, and it will be "IIconic." As Sasha Banks talks about their WrestleMania match, Natalya shows up with Beth Phoenix. Beth says she respects Sasha and Bayley after seeing everything they did to make the tag team titles come to fruition and give the titles respect first-hand, and says she and Natalya would have loved the opportunity when she competed full-time. She admits she was content to watch the Women's Revolution from the commentary table until Nia Jax and Tamina tried to set it all back with their jealousy and pettiness. However, Nia and Tamina also "awoke the dragon." This got her thinking that maybe her and Natalya's dream could still become a reality, and while she loved her WWE career, there has been one thing missing: tag team gold. Beth announces that since Bayley and Sasha want to be fighting champions, she wants to step out of retirement, stand with Natalya and challenge Sasha and Bayley for the women's tag team titles at WrestleMania. Bayley says that this would be an honor, but asks if Beth Phoenix needs more time to prepare as competition has evolved since she left. Natalya says Beth is not afraid to fight someone like Bayley, and Sasha asks Natalya who she is talking to, as they bleed for the business. After Sasha accuses Natalya of riding on Beth's coattails for a WrestleMania match, Natalya slaps Sasha, and this starts a brawl. Beth shoves Bayley, and referees have to separate both sides.

Sasha Banks beats Natalya by disqualification. During the match, Nia Jax shows up and says that she has done more in three years than Beth Phoenix has done in her career and that Beth is jealous of her for all the attention she is getting. Beth and Sasha are then attacked from behind by Tamina.

We hear from Mojo Rawley, who talks to a mirror again as he talks about how much potential he has as well as how he despises the word "potential," as it is no good when he does nothing with it.

Ricochet beats Jinder Mahal.

It is announced that long-time WWE employee Sue Aitchison will be the recipient of this year's Warrior Award for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes interviews Seth Rollins, who says that Drew McIntyre had better be prepared after beating his brothers, as tonight is for Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and even Brock Lesnar, as he will not be pushed around and he will fight fire with fire.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Dana Brooke. She says that the road to WrestleMania is where dreams become reality and underdogs make history. If she can become better than "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey for three seconds, she can win and become a champion.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Dana Brooke with an arm bar in mere seconds to retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship. After the match, Ronda refuses to let go of the arm bar until another referee shows up. The other referee gets punched, and when security shows up, Travis Browne - who is in the front row - punches a security guard after Ronda punches one, then helps Ronda to the back when she is confronted by security.

It is announced that Dana Brooke is undergoing medical treatment backstage.

Apollo Crews gets a surprise win on Baron Corbin by countering the End of Days into an inside cradle.

Michael Cole interviews Batista live via satellite. Batista says he just does not like Triple H, and ever since he came back, he has wanted one last match with him. He says that his hate for Triple H goes back further than his days in Evolution, as Triple H uses people for protection and to make him look good. Batista says Triple H groomed him to be his muscles only to be looked down upon, held down and underestimated, and that he blames Triple H for leaving at the height of his career nine years ago. He says that Triple H did not think he could be enough of a star in WWE, but since he left, he has movie star status and he is the one in control, and he has the match with Triple H that he wants. Batista goes on to call Triple H the most insecure, jealous control freak he has ever seen, and says that one day, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will wake up and fire Triple H. As for Triple H's in-ring career, he plans to end it.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Braun Strowman. He says that Michael Che and Colin Jost had the audacity to get in his face and disrespecting him and the WWE. After declaring he will be in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal due to the incident from two weeks ago making him so angry, Alexa Bliss shows up wanting to broker peace between Braun Strowman and Colin Jost. Strowman gives Alexa one week, but if they disrespect him, he will teach them what discipline really is.

Charlotte Flair and Girl Up recognize Irena Sendler and Serena Williams for their accomplishments as part of Women's History Month.

Before the next match, Drew McIntyre says actions speak much louder than words before showing the replay of the beating he gave Roman Reigns last week. He says that when Roman made his return, everyone rejoiced, but at Fastlane, he could tell Roman was not the same man; he was weak and vulnerable and reliant on his teammates, and now The Shield is no more after what he did last week. He says that Seth Rollins is a coward for hitting him with the steel chair in response for pulling back the curtain and revealing Roman to be mortal, and says Roman is now sitting at home because of him. McIntyre says that if Roman wants to be a hero so badly, then he challenges him to a fight at WrestleMania. He tells Roman to say no to this fight and to choose his family over his fans, as his fans don't care about him and all bets will be off when he destroys him. He says that Roman may have beaten leukemia, but he will never beat him. Suddenly, Seth Rollins is on the TitanTron, and tells McIntyre that is why he received a beating with a steel chair at the top of the show. He says the steel chair assault is for his brothers, and that the beating he will give him in the ring is for him. McIntyre meets Rollins on the ramp, and both men brawl before their match begins. Referees and officials try to separate both men.

Drew McIntyre beats Seth Rollins. During the match, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up. McIntyre hits the Claymore on a distracted Rollins for the win.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
