AJ Styles shows up to start the show. He is wearing a cast on his left foot as a result of hurting his ankle on Sunday night. Styles says that he is not medically cleared to faces James Ellsworth for the WWE World Championship tonight. Nevertheless, James Ellsworth shows up. Styles says Ellsworth is moving in slow motion, but Ellsworth says Styles is wearing a boot cast, and says that SmackDown Live General Manager is protecting Styles as he has his number and beat him three times. Styles tells Ellsworth that he would have won on Sunday with or without his help, and that he has burned bridges with both Dean Ambrose and himself. He tells Styles that he will experience what Ambrose will do to him first-hand, as he knows when to stop beating Ellsworth when Ambrose does not. Ambrose shows up, hits Ellsworth with the Dirty Deeds, and leaves.
The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton) retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against Heath Slater and Rhyno.
Dasha Fuentes interviews Kalisto, who says that despite being a bit beat up, is up for a rematch against Baron Corbin. He has one advantage against Corbin: speed.
Before the next match, Carmella says she may have lost against Nikki Bella, but it was not her who took her out of Survivor Series. Instead, it was Natalya, as Carmella claims Natalya brags about taking her out for stealing her spotlight. Natalya shows up for the match and chases Carmella to the back, and runs into Nikki Bella. Natalya tells Nikki that Carmella is lying, but Nikki just walks away.
WWE Week is next week. Besides Raw and SmackDown Live, Tribute To The Troops airs Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central on USA Network.
Dasha Fuentes intervieews Baron Corbin. He says Kalisto may be fast, but he's the big man who's ready to squash him like a mosquito.
The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).
It's time for Miz TV with special guest Dean Ambrose. Ambrose says he's not angry with James Ellsworth, but was shocked at his actions on Sunday just the same. Miz says that Ellsworth vs. AJ Styles is a match that everyone wants to see, while saying that Ellsworth gave Ambrose what he deserved. Ambrose says that The Miz is just trying to piss him off, and The Miz awards Ambrose with a "Miz Participation Award. Ambrose, however, wants to shove the award down his throat. SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up, and makes Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship official for tonight's main event.
Baron Corbin beats Kalisto.
Nikki Bella meets Sophia Grace backstage.
Earlier today, Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) tried to give Chad Gable a fashion police ticket for his hair. Chad Gable had none of it.

Alexa Bliss shows up for her SmackDown Women's Championship celebration. Bliss says she proved on Sunday that happy endings don't exist, and says she runs the Women's Division on SmackDown now. Becky Lynch shows up, and admits that she didn't get the job done, but cannot picture her as the leader of the Women's Division. Alexa doesn't care what people think of her, as she is the champion. Becky wants her championship rematch right now, and Alexa teases wrestling her only to roll out of the ring.
The Miz retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose after James Ellsworth distracts the referee.
Talking Smack begins with The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Randy Orton) saying that they run the yard now, as the SmackDown tag titles have made them immortal. With Randy Orton in their group, they are stronger than ever. Bray Wyatt says it is easier to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven. Orton says he is more dangerous than ever now that he is a part of the Family. Luke Harper says that they would take what they wanted, and they did. Now they dare WWE to send anyone after them...just don't send anyone they want back.
Carmella appears on Talking Smack. She says that Natalya is acting innocent, and she won't have it. She says that Nikki Bella forgot her hat at catering at Survivor Series, and that Natalya took advantage of the situation. She thought of attacking Nikki before the match, but wanted to put her differences with Nikki Bella aside. Carmella says that Natalya attacked Nikki Bella because she is jealous. She leaves saying that the truth will eventually come out.
Heath Slater and Rhyno appear on Talking Smack. They tried to defend the SmackDown tag titles against The Wyatt Family (Randy Orton and Heath Slater), but came up short. Slater looks forward to getting back to the top of the tag team mountain, but cracks start to form in the friendship when Rhyno says he didn't expect to be the only one in the ring tonight and starts questioning Heath Slater's reliability.
