Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 5, 2016

The pre-show starts with Titus O'Neil congratulating Charly Caruso on being the new pre-show host. Titus wants to be the first interview on the new pre-show, but since Charly doesn't call the shots around here, Titus plans to talk to the producers himself.

We see footage from earlier today where Bayley is handing out Bayley Bears when Bayley runs into Cedric Alexander. Suddenly, Alicia Fox shows up as Bayley hands him a Bayley Bear, and says Bayley can't handle her or "her man." Bayley sees this as a challenge and challenges Alicia Fox to a match on Raw. Alicia says she's on, and takes the Bayley Bear away. Cedric is surprised as what is going on.

Titus O'Neil promotes "The Tussle In Texas," where he takes on "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry tonight. He hands Charly Caruso and Booker T flyers for the match, and says he will dominate like Goldberg, and be in the next WWE game which will be called "WWE 2KTitus." Booker cannot belive that Titus compared himself to Goldberg, and Titus says that Goldberg is nothing compared to him. Booker T makes Titus go away by playing the footage of Mark Henry shoving Titus to the ground last week, and Titus takes the flyers back and walks away.

Seth Rollins shows up to start tonight's show. Immediately, he wants Triple H in the ring right now. He talks about how he changed history as part of The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Rollins, Roman Reigns), as well as what he did afterwards. Rollins accuses Triple H of betting against him and making Kevin Owens his new golden boy, and makes it clear he sent a message by Pedigreeing Owens on the top of a car last week. Rollins has a means of getting to Triple H: beating Owens and taking the Universal title. However, he has to remove Chris Jericho from the equation, as without Jericho, the Kevin Owens show isn't ready for prime time. Kevin Owens shows up, and Rollins asks how he and Jericho are doing. Owens says that best friends fight, but Rollins wouldn't understand because he stabbed Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the back. He also says best friends make up, and that is what they have done. He also says that Jericho is busy recuperating from Rollins' attack on him last week, and mentions the Christmas gifts that he got for Jericho. Rollins goes on to say that Jericho gave Owens the Universal title, but Owens he was given nothing and that he is a fighting champion, and that he only lost against Roman Reigns last week because Rollins interfered. Rollins tells Owens that if he really was a fighting champion, he would defend the WWE Universal Championship right here, right now. Owens says that he defended the title against him two weeks ago, and that it won't happen tonight because Raw General Manager Mick Foley put him in a match against Sami Zayn tonight. Owens also announces that he is defending the Universal title against Roman Reigns at Roadblock: End Of The Line. He then mentions the three gifts that he got Jericho. The first is a match between Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns for the United States Championship tonight. The second is a match against Seth Rollins at Roadblock: End Of The Line. The third is Seth Rollins having a match against a returning Big Show, who hasn't been seen in a WWE ring in months and has slimmed down to 395 lbs. since his last televised appearance.

Seth Rollins beats Big Show by count-out when Big Show choke slams Kevin Owens from the apron to the inside of the ring and leaves after Owens continues to bark orders at him. After the match, Rollins hits Owens with a Pedigree.

We get a look at Jack Gallagher from 205 Live.

Jack Gallagher beats Ariya Daivari. Gallagher offers a handshake after a match, but Daivari attacks Gallagher's knee after the match.

Titus O'Neil keeps promoting "The Tussle In Texas" backstage.

Backstage, Kevin Owens meets with Raw General Manager Mick Foley. He tells Foley he should not have a match tonight, but Foley says the match is going on regardless. Foley leaves, then Owens runs into Chis Jericho. Owens tells Jericho about what has happened so far tonight as well as the matches that he has set up for him. Jericho is not impressed with Owens' attempts to rekindle their friendship, and walks away.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass see Rusev talking angrily to Lana backstage. Enzo, viewing this as a way that a man should treat a lady, shows up and tells Rusev to calm down. Rusev gets mad, but Lana says that Enzo is only trying to help as she calms Rusev down. Rusev calls Lana "pathetic" for standing up for Enzo, and Lana responds by throwing her wedding ring down. Rusev walks away. Enzo and Cass watch in shock for a few seconds, then Enzo hands Lana her ring back before holding a conversation with her.

Lana tells Enzo Amore that Rusev doesn't really appreciate her and takes her for granted, and that Rusev should be taught a lesson in the form of another man appreciating her and not taking her for granted. She asks Enzo to come to her hotel room later.

Kevin Owens beats Sami Zayn.

Chris Jericho is about to leave when Roman Reigns shows up. Roman tells Jericho to get focused, as they both have a big match tonight. Jericho tells Roman that he has everything handed to him and that his luck will run out tonight. Roman says that may be true, or that he may be the lucky one after all and that Jericho may be doing Kevin Owens' dirty work...again.

The Rock graces the current cover of Sports Illustrated.

Charly Caruso interviews Sasha Banks. She says that her victory against Charlotte was on another level and took everything out of her, and says Charlotte should not be living in the legacy of her father "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, whom she says deserves better, and says she can't wait to face Charlotte again even though she dislikes Charlotte as a person. When Charly tells her that Charlotte wants her rematch for the Raw Women's title, Sasha gives Charlotte her rematch...and challenges her to an Iron Man Match at Roadblock: End of the Line.

We look back at Rich Swann's Cruiserweight title victory.

Rich Swann beats TJ Perkins.

Bayley beats Alicia Fox.

Enzo Amore talks with Big Cass. Big Cass warns Enzo that his visit with Lana could be trouble when Enzo gets a picture of Lana nude from the shoulders up. Enzo leaves, and Rusev shows up asking Cass where Lana is. Big Cass tells Rusev that's not his problem, and Rusev responds by putting his hand on Big Cass' arm when he turns around. This leads to a match between Big Cass and Rusev later tonight.

Emmalina comes to Raw next week...

"The Tussle In Texas" ends in seconds when "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry beats Titus O'Neil with a single World's Strongest Slam.

Enzo Amore is waiting on his Uber ride when a limousine pulls up and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair climbs out. Ric Flair hooks Enzo up with the limo to get to the hotel where Lana is.

Kevin Owens meets Chris Jericho backstage. Jericho tells Owens that he doesn't need his help and to stay away from him.

Roman Reigns retains the WWE United States Championship against Chris Jericho despite the interference from Kevin Owens. Jericho slaps Owens and tells him to get out, which Owens does, but this gives Roman enough time to recover and hit the Spear for the win.

Rusev fails to show up for his match against Big Cass. Big Cass gets a hold of a cellphone and calls Enzo Amore. Enzo doesn't answer, because the smartphone is from someone else. Enzo meets Lana, but as soon as they both go into the hotel room, Enzo feels uncomfortable. Lana teases Enzo and persuades him to stay, and gets him to take off his pants. After he undresses, he finds out that it was a set-up all along as Rusev is in the room. Rusev decimates Enzo before he can leave, and drags him into the hotel hallway and leaves him there, knocked out from a vase busted on the back of his head.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) watch the next match from ringside.

Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) ends in a no-contest when Big E interferes after the match makes its way to ringside.

Next week, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) faces both the team of Sheamus and Cesaro and the team of Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships next week.

Charlotte shows up. It is announced that Charlotte has accepted Sasha Banks' challenge for the WWE Raw Womens' Championship in a 30-minute Iron Man Match at Roadblock: End Of The Line. Last week on Raw, Charlotte realized she made the biggest mistake of her life for kicking her father, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, to the curb back in May. Charlotte says that the WWE means everything to her, and says that seeing her father celebrate with Sasha Banks last week hurt more than losing the Raw Women's title. Charlotte also feels that nobody knows what it's like to be her, and she feels heartbroken after last week. Charlotte then asks her dad to come to the ring, and he does. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair makes his way to the ring, and Charlote smiles as he approaches. Charlotte tells her dad that she is sorry, and she hugs him. When Flair tries to return the favor, however, Charlotte slaps him, saying that Sasha had no business dedicating her victory to him. Sasha shows up as Charlotte accuses her father of turning her back on her, and Charlotte attacks Sasha when she gets into the ring, mocking Sasha before dragging her to Flair and telling him "that's your trophy."

Here's the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
