Generation NXT - NXT recap for December 14, 2016

"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura retains the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage Match in Melbourne, Australia.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce say they didn't lose last week; Daria Berenato did. They've gotten rid of Daria, saying they don't associate with losers. Daria shows up, saying she doesn't want to be part of their future plans. Instead, she wants to hurt one of them last week, and tells them to figure out which one steps up to the plate.

Once again, Sawyer Fulton is not with SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Nikki Cross) as they make their way to the ring.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger beats Eric Young by disqualification to continue on to next week's #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way Match after Nikki Cross pounces on him. Dillinger fights off Young, Cross and Alexander Wulfe, but is then annihilated by a returning Big Damo.

Andrade "Cien" Almas beats No Way Jose to continue on to next week's #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way Match.

Roderick Strong beats "The Drifter" Elias Samson to continue on to next week's #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way Match.

Daria Berenato takes on Billie Kay next week!

Bobby Roode beats Oney Lorcan to continue on to next week's #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way Match.
