Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 8, 2016

Moose shows up to start tonight's show. He says that the Impact Grand Championship is the first major title he's won, and that he couldn't have done it without the fans. He then promises that he will be a fighting champion. Suddenly, Drew Galloway shows up, back from injury and offers to re-introduce himself to Moose, but Moose knows exactly who he is. Galloway says he's back, and that the Impact Grand Championship was made for him, as he made it to the finals only to get injured. He says that he is itching for a fight, and wants it with Moose. Moose asks the fans if they want to see it. They do, then Aron Rex shows up. He says that he was robbed of the Impact Grand Championship by Moose, and invokes his rematch clause imediately.

Moose retains the TNA Impact Grand Championship against Aron Rex with 2:30 left in the third round by pinfall.

Eddie Edwards says he always believed he was a World Champion. Ethan Carter III has stood where he stands now, and Eddie knows that anything is possible.

Drew Galloway says that he will have gold around his waist very soon.

Mandrews beats Aiden O'Shea.

Mahabali Shera and Al Snow beat The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Judge Baron Dax) in a Double Strap Match.

"Broken" Matt Hardy sees premonitions of his face in various places, where his mouth is a door.

Ethan Carter III says that he does not believe in luck, but he does believe in fate. As he speaks, Eli Drake shows up, but once again he can't say anything.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) and Reby Hardy show up. In seven days, Matt will present the most extraordinary event mankind or the wrestling industry has ever seen: Total Nonstop Deletion. All of our favorites, such as Vanguard-1, King Maxel and Senor Benjamin will be there, and the tag team titles will be on the line. Gregory Shane Helms shows up, and says he accepts his invitation to the event, saying The Helms Dynasty (Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett, Marshe Rockett) will be there. Suddenly Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve) show up, saying they're not done with The Broken Hardys yet. After Rosemary destroyed Gail Kim and Jade to take the Knockouts Championship, they are back for the tag team titles. Crazzy Steve calls Decay "a never-ending nightmare," and when they come back to Cameron, North Carolina, they'll take more than King Maxel. They'll take everything. Matt Hardy welcomes them with open arms, and next week, they will delete. Matt then hits Gregory Shane Helms, who has run into the ring upon Decay's entrance, with a Twist of Fate.

The DCC (James Storm, Eddie Kingston, Bram) say they will be at Total Nonstop Deletion next week.

Before the next match, Maria mocks Allie for not being able to wrestle. Allie says she's been training and that she can. When asked who could possibly want to train her, Allie says "Braxton Sutter." Sutter shows up in Allie's corner.

Despite "The Miracle" Mike Bennett showing up to fight Braxton Sutter outside of the ring and take their brawl to the back, Allie beats Laurel Van Ness. Maria tries to attack Allie from behind after the match, but Allie notices her and almost hits her. Maria retreats.

We hear from Eddie Edwards and Ethan Carter III before their match.

Outside of the arena, Allie celebrates her win with Braxton Sutter. She kisses Sutter awkwardly, then backs away, full of excitement.

Ethan Carter III and Eddie Edwards wrestle to a no contest after Ethan Carter III has his shoulders on the mat for the three count while Eddie Edwards tapped to his sleeper hold. Eddie Edwards retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
