Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for July 26, 1999

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hollywood Hogan. Hogan says that when he hit the airport today, all the fans in Memphis, Tennessee were out to greet him. Hogan says he came here for Kevin Nash, as he has heard say what he had to say about him on Thunder and how he wants to drive a stake through his heart, and calls bullcrap. He says that he does not have a tag team partner, but what he has is the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and his fans. He will be waiting in the center of the ring, and if Nash wants a piece of him, he will be here all night. Kevin Nash shows up with Sid Vicious and Rick Steiner, and Hogan says this is between the two of them. Nash says he could not help but notice that Hogan is out here by himself, but Hogan says he doesn't need a tag team partner to beat him. Nash says he begs to differ, and Hogan says if he wants some, all he has to do is put the microphone down and come get some. Hogan and Nash brawl, and Sid and Rick Steiner get involved. It quickly becomes a three-on-one beatdown until Sting shows up with a baseball bat and clears the ring. Nash then says "As I stated earlier...I beg to differ, Mr. Hollywood." Nash says he has his partner, and tells Hogan to make sure he has his. Sting then leaves the ring, and Hogan asks Sting "Is that it?"

The West Texas Rednecks (Bobby Duncum Jr. and Kendall Windham) beat Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera after referee Randy Anderson is distracted by Duncum, keeping him from seeing Psychosis tag in Juventud Guerrera.

We see the former Miss Madness in the dressing room curling her hair, saying she used to be somebody and that she is now just Mona. Madusa shows up and says the two of them are scheduled for Road Wild, and that she will kick her butt. She says that Gorgeous George is behind this due to Gorgeous George's huge global view of wanting to be a big star. She says that George is the one for their break-up. Mona says that George is jealous of them, and Madusa says the word "jealous" is an understatement, as "Macho Man" Randy Savage was the one who wanted them as a team. She says that George got in Randy's ear and that she wanted to be kidnapped by Kevin Nash. Madusa proposes that they finish their business with Gorgeous George tonight, and Madusa says she is kicking everybody's butt.

Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Vampiro by disqualification after Rey is atacked by Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope). After the match, Eddie Guerrero runs in with a steel chair, clearing the ring in the process. Violent J tells Rey found out what Konnan found out last week: Vampiro has friends in wicked places. He says they did not come here to wave hands and rock and roll; they came to kick somebody's ass.

Before the next match, Vincent says Stevie Ray is a chump with no backbone, and that he will show him what backbone is. He tells Stevie Ray that he doesn't leave the nWo, they leave him, and they will leave him down on his back and out.

Stevie Ray beats Vincent after Vincent accidentally hits Horace Hogan as he holds Stevie Ray down from the apron. As referee Mickey Jay checks on Horace, Stevie Ray hits Vincent with a slapjack behind the referee's back followed by the Slap Jack. Brian Adams tries to get involved in the match, but Booker T heads him off at the pass with a steel chair in his hands before Brian Adams can even go down the ramp. During the match, it is announced that Chad Brock will be live in concert on Nitro in two weeks.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund is in front of Hollywood Hogan's dressing room, trying to find out who his tag team partner is. Sting enters the room with an aluminum baseball bat in his hands.

Sting shows up. He introduces himself as the President of WCW, and as President, he knew that he could expect to have big decisions, and on his first Nitro as President, he has a big decision. He has somebody who wants him to be his tag team partner and wants to know if it's showtime. He ponders if he should or should not be Hollywood Hogan's tag team partner tonight, and asks the fans if it is showtime. Hollywood Hogan shows up, and says he came here with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and Kevin Nash in his sights. He says there has been a lot of changes taking place, and says that he is not the same Hollywood Hogan as before and that Sting can trust him iif he chooses to be his partner. He admits there is a lot of history between them, but he asks Sting to give him a chance to prove to him that he will not stab him in the back tonight. Sting decides for old times' sake to agree with him and become his tag team partner, but warns Hogan that if he screw him, he'll get him. Hogan is okay with his.

Jason Hervey, former star of The Wonder Years, guests on commentary. He says he is back in WCW after hearing about Arliss on Nitro last week and says that since every celebrity wants to jump onto the hottest wrestling show in wrestling today, he has been here since the beginning. He says the best part of Arliss on HBO last night was that Eric Bischoff was on the show.

Prince Iaukea vs. Lash LeRoux ends when "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up with Gorgeous George and attacks both men. Savage then gets on the microphone and tells Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash and Dennis Rodman that he has not only taken over the wrestling world, but he is running for President of the United States. He says it is not over yet; instead, it is just beginning, and that none of them want any of him. All of a sudden, Mona and Madusa show up and announce they have something to say to him. They wanted to be team players and wanted to be on their side, and she belives that "that little, no-good joke" Gorgeous George is behind firing them. Savage says he's the man, while she's the woman and she's also the target. Gorgeous George runs away, while Savage says he is the boss and he decides who is with him as WCW Security keep Savage away from Madusa and Mona. As Madusa slowly chases George to the back, George runs into Dennis Rodman, who grabs George by the hand and blows a kiss to Savage, who then runs after Rodman.

WCW Security and local law enforcement have to get "Macho Man" Randy Savage under control as he hunts for Dennis Rodman backstage.

Goldberg suddenly shows up as "Mean" Gene Okerlund talks about what is to come on tonight's show. Goldberg calls out Curt Hennig, and says it was pretty convenient for him that he was 2,000 miles away when he was running his mouth last week. Tonight, he is here to tell Hennig two things: he's here and Hennig is next.

Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller tells Evan Karagias that somebody must be playing a joke on him, as he is in the ring with a killer. He then gives Karagias the opportunity to walk away, and asks to shake his hand before he leaves. They shake hands, and The Cat raises his arm before hitting him with a short arm clothesline.

Evan Karagias beats Ernest "The Cat" Miller. During the match, Sonny Onoo distracts referee Billy Silverman on the apron as The Cat opens his briefcase only to find fuzzy bunny slippers inside. Buff Bagwell shows up on the stage with The Cat's dancing shoes, and asks The Cat if he is looking for them. Evan Karagias takes advantage of the situation and rolls The Cat up to get an upset win. The Cat responds to this by hitting Kargias with a side kick before tossing Silverman out of the ring and running after Buff Bagwell.

"Lord" Steven Regal beats Mikey Whipwreck with the Regal Stretch after David Taylor whacks Whipwreck in the back with the Union Jack. During the match, The First Family (Jimmy Hart, Brian Knobbs, Jerry Flynn, Meng, Hugh Morrus) shows up with the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational Trophy. Hart says Regal and David Taylor are tough, then says "One down, two to go." He tells them that if they want the trophy back, all they have to do is come to Road Wild and take it from The First Family. As Regal screams at them, Mikey Whipwreck nearly wins the match.

Goldberg is seen getting ready for his match with Curt Hennig in the locker room.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews David Flair, who is accompanied by Torrie Wilson. Flair says "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair told him that to be the man, you have to beat the man, and he tells "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit that he is the man. He says his father is the greatest wrestler to ever the walk the face of the earth, and that he will soon be the second greatest. Despite the fact that Ric will not be at ringside, he says that beating Benoit will be easy as 1-2-3.

Backstage, "Macho Man" Randy Savage finds Gorgeous George, who tells Savage that Dennis Rodman is in his trailer. WCW security gives chase as Savage looks for Rodman. He finds Rodman, but WCW security keep Savage from putting his hands on him.

We hear from Shane Douglas, who says that he has been outside of WCW for long enough to watch some of his former locker room acquaintances in the company and stand side by side in their fight, as they are great wrestlers and friends who will not stab him in the back. He says there are not many people in the business that one can trust like them, and he plans to cut the cancer that is "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair out of wrestling in what he calls an exciting time in his career. He says the insiders of this business know the genuine hatred that he and Flair have for each other, and says that Flair surrounded himself for protection, thinking he would never show up in the company and play in his backyard.

Goldberg is seen leaving the locker room for his match.

Goldberg beats Curt Hennig by disqualification after the attempted interference by the rest of The West Texas Rednecks (Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, Bobby Duncum Jr.) backfires. Hennig gets back into the ring with Goldberg after the match only to be tossed over the top rope by Goldberg.

We see a video package of the history between Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash.

Madusa beats Patty Stonegrinder (originally Leilani Kai) in the first women's match on Nitro since 1996.

Shane Douglas beats Scott Putski in his WCW debut.

David Flair retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit. During the match, Benoit puts Flair in the Boston Crab, but referee Charles Robinson refuses to end the match. After Benoit hits the top rope headbutt and put Flair in the Crippler Crossface, Benoit is attacked by Diamond Dallas Page (who can barely be seen on the stage before the top rope headbutt) with one of the WCW World Tag Team Championship belts before placing Flair on top of Benoit as Robinson pretends to be blinded. After the match, Dean Malenko dumps DDP back into the ring and the two men brawl until Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow ambush Malenko. Perry Saturn gets in the ring, and it becomes a three-on-three brawl where The Revolution (Benoit, Malenko, Saturn) clean house against The Jersey Triad (DDP, Kanyon, Bigelow) before Shane Douglas runs in.

Before the next match, Rick Steiner says he is the D.F.G. and the bully on the block. If anyone thinks they can take him out, they can bring it on. If anyone wants some, they can come get some. If they don't like him, they can bite him.

Rick Steiner retains the WCW World Television Championship against Chase Tatum.

Kevin Nash's partner is revealed to be none other than Sid Vicious.

Kevin Nash and Sid Vicious beat Hollywood Hogan and Sting. During the match, Sid uses referee Nick Patrick as a human shield to save himself from a Stinger Splash. After this, Rick Steiner shows up and hits Sting in the back with a steel chair before tripping Hogan as he goes for the signature leg drop. He then hands a steel chair to Kevin Nash, which he smashes into Hogan's head. Rick Steiner gets the chair out of the ring, Nash get the win, and then Goldberg runs into the ring only to be cut down to size quickly by Rick Steiner with a steel chair. Rick Steiner, Sid and Nash then head to the back, and the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 26, 1999

RAW

The Undertaker is seen assaulting X-Pac backstage before the show starts. (This backstage brawl is also the first promotional appearance of Hansen's Energy Drink, which would later be name-changed to Monster Energy in 2012.) "Road Dogg' Jesse James tries to come to X-Pac's aid, but The Undertaker puts him through a table before taking his brawl with X-Pac to the stage and into the ring. The Undertaker punches X-Pac a few times and is trying to choke the life out of him when Kane runs in and fights The Undertaker. Big Show runs to the ring and grabs Kane from behind. Big Show and The Undertaker end up fighting Kane together, and Kane is eventually pinned to the corner by The Undertaker as Big Show puts the boots to Kane. Once they are done, 'Taker extends his hand, and Big Show shakes it, making their alliance official.

A black limousine is seen pulling up to the arena. WWF co-owner Vince McMahon walks out of the back of the limousine, walking very slowly without the aid of crutches.

We see footage from during the break where Kane helps X-Pac to the back. Before he picks him up, however, Kane lets out a cry of anguish.

X-Pac is seen being placed in the back of an ambulance as Kane watches.

Hardcore Holly is the special guest ring announcer for the next match. He shoves Tony Chimel out of the ring, then says he is doing this because he can. Hardcore Holly then mocks both teams in the next match, one of which is Edge and Christian, who come out through the crowd together for the first time.

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) beat Edge and Christian. Shortly after the match starts, it is announced on commentary that "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock has been struck by an automobile somewhere behind the arena, and that an ambulance is en route to the scene. Also during the match, Gangrel shows up and takes Christian to the back. After the match, special guest ring announcer Hardcore Holly declares himself the winner, then gets in the ring to fight The Acolytes only to get torn apart. Kane shows up, gets in the ring and choke slams all three men and Edge. He then asks for a microphone, then places his autolarynx to his neck and says "You hurt Sean [Waltman], you hurt me. Undertaker...Big Show...tonight, I'm gonna hurt you."

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is seen going off on EMTs as he refuses medical help. We see the ambulance that left with X-Pac earlier, which passes by Shamrock. As this happens, he is struck by an automobile by "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman.

WWF co-owner Vince McMahon is seen heading to the ring, while "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen entering the arena.

WWF co-owner Vince McMahon shows up. Ben Stiller of the upcoming movie Mystery Men is seen in the front row, giving Vince the thumbs down. Vince says he has come here tonight not to break a promise or breach a contract, but to honor them, as he has never lied to anyone and has always kept his promises and fulfilled his obligations, and only once has he not made good on his guarantees. Last night, for the first time in his life, he has failed when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin defeated The Undertaker. He says that for those who watched Fully Loaded in its final moments, he was on his knees among the sweat, the beer, the blood and the grim, agonizing in pain after suffering not one but two devastating Stone Cold Stunners. He feels that final moment is not how he wants to be remembered, and he has taken the liberty to come before the fans and make a more formal farewell. He wants the fans to remember him for who he is: a handsome, affluent entrepreneur who left his indelible mark on each and every fan As Vince is about to leave the ring, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up. Vince says he is glad Austin is here, as he has something to get off his chest. He says they both know that on the surface, it would appear as though they are worlds apart, but down deep, they are just alike. The only difference between himself and Austin is that Vince will always consider himself "the better man." To prove it, he extends his hand and says "Put 'er there." After some hesitation, Austin takes the microphone out of Vince's other hand and says he has a problem with shaking his hand after two years, then asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they want to see him break his arm and shove it up his ass. He says that he can dump Vince on his neck in an instant. Austin then tells Vince that if he thinks he is the better man because he money and power, then he can take those things along with his arm and shove them all straight up his own ass. He says that as much as Vince tried to make his life a living hell, he says the harder he made it, the more he had, and that he is living proof that a sorry son-of-a-bitch like Vince will never beat a son-of-a-bitch like him. He then asks Jim Ross to come to the ring before Vince leaves, and Jim Ross gets in the ring. He says that Vince fired Jim Ross, and asks him to sing "Na Na Hey Hey (The Goodbye Song)" by Steam because he refuses to sing it. "Oh hey hey" is replaced by "Oh hell yeah." Vince angrily leaves the ring, then turns around only for Austin to flip him off - with both hands - one last time. Vince then turns around and flips Austin off right back with both hands before heading to the back. Austin then celebrates int he ring with a couple of cold ones, as does Jim Ross.

WWF co-owner Vince McMahon is seen heading to the limo when ring announcer Howard Finkel catches up with him. He says that after 24 years, he never thought he would say goodbye, thank him for everyone, and that he loves him. Vince angrily tells Finkel to get the hell away from him, then gets in the limo and leaves.

Before the next match, Val Venis says later on tonight will be the time for lovin', but right now, he wants Droz to bring Prince Albert to the ring and bring their stinking carcasses to the ring so that he and The Godfather can light their punk asses up. Ben Stiller is seen on camera again as The Godfather shows up with his hos. It is also announced that WWF will be on the Home Shopping Network immediately after Raw.

Val Venis and The Godfather beat Droz and Prince Albert in a Tag Team Street Fight. During the match, a portly man in all white - including white dreadlocks in a ponytail - shows up and takes the boots to The Godfather briefly before being hauled off by WWF security.

Michael Cole interviews The Rock, who calls Cole an idiot before placing his brand new merchandise on Cole and telling him not to move before he takes the microphone. He says Triple H beat him, but not on his own, and says he is a one-trick pony and a cheap trick circus. His one trick is Chyna and his circus is his ability. As for "Bad Ass" BIlly Gunn, he will take the lips off of his trunk, peel them off, turn them sideways and stick them straight up his candy ass. He then says he sees the way Chyna licks and puckers his lips when she sees him, and says she has a thing for him and is suffering from "Rock fever." He says that the next time they go one-on-one, he wants her to get on his knees and pucker her lips only for him to kick her teeth so far down her throat she will have to stick a toothbrush straight up her ass to brush them. He wants them to know that he has millions of fans who chant his name, then messes with Michael Cole by asking him what is on his hand only to shove said hand up his face when he raises it up.

Ben Stiller is seen in the front row again, and this time his presence is announced by ring announcer Tony Chimel as "the man who loves Debra's puppies."

WAR ZONE

Triple H and Chyna show up. It is announced that Minnesota state governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be the special guest referee for Triple H vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the WWF Championship at SummerSlam. Triple H calls out Austin for getting Jim Ross to sing WWF co-owner Vince McMahon out of the building, and says he does not give a crap because as of last night, it is no longer about Austin or Vince; it is about him. He says that he can beat Austin man-to-man as Austin watches from the locker room. Triple H says he has watched Austin like a hawk for the last six months and has seen every move. He says he has not taken a breathe or batted an eye without him seeing it, and says he knows him like the back of his hand, knowing his strengths and every one of his weaknesses. At SummerSlam, no matter what the hype says, it will not be an out-of-body experience. He then says to Hell with Jesse "The Body" Ventura, because he will not be a factor, and neither will Chyna. He says it will all come down to him and Austin, one-on-one, face-to-face, man-to-man. He says just like him, Austin eats, breathes and sleeps this business. While Austin may be a student of the game, at SummerSlam, he will show him and the whole world that he is the game. Chyna then takes the microphone, and says The Rock talks really tough from the back. She says he has something to say to her, but that it is just too bad he does not have the balls to say it to her face. Triple H and Chyna are about to leave the ring when The Rock shows up. He is about to approach the ring when he is attacked from behind by "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn with the same club that Gunn used at Fully Loaded. Gunn and Chyna take the boots to The Rock, Gunn and Triple H hold The Rock up so Chyna can hit The Rock with a low blow. Gunn then says to The Rock "Rock...now you know your role...bitch!" Triple H, Gunn and Chyna then leave. The Rock then gets back up and tells Billy Gunn that if he has a set of balls - before saying that he knows Chyna has some, too - then their candy asses meet him tonight in a handicap match so he can take both of his boots, turn them sideways, and stick them straight up their candy asses.

The Undertaker continues to attack Kane after the match, and "Road Dogg" Jesse James rushes in to fight both The Undertaker and Big Show off only to fall victim to a choke slam by Big Show. Only 335 hours and 39 minutes until the new millennium!

Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up. He says there will be no puppies in anybody's future tonight, as tonight is about the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. He then calls out Ben Stiller, saying he knows he is here, and tells him to get in the ring as his personal guest. He knows that he is a big fan of Debra's puppies, but makes it clear he can't touch the merchandise. When asked why he is here, he says he is here to see some world classic wrestling while on the road promoting Mystery Men opening next week on August 6th. Jarrett asks why he wasn't cast in the movie, and Stiller mentions the characters in the movie before saying there wasn't a guy powerful enough for Jarrett to portray. He then asks Stiller who his favorite WWF Superstar is. Stiller says it's the puppies. He then gets attacked from behind by Jarrett. Stiller tries to crawl out of the ring, but Jeff Jarrett puts him in the Figure Four Leg Lock as Debra yells at Jarrett to stop. As Stiller is tapping out, D'Lo Brown gets in the ring, and Jarrett lets go to fend off D'Lo only to fall victim to the Sky High followed by the Lo Down. D'Lo then checks on Ben Stiller while Debra leaves with Jarrett.

It is revealed after the break that while D'Lo Brown had Jeff Jarrett in the Sky Hugh, Ben Stiller had his nose in Debra's puppies.

Triple H is seen entering "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's locker room.

Before the next match, Ivory says Nicole Bass is a pain in her and isn't good enough to stand by her. (In reality, she is no longer in the company after leaving and filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against Steve Lombardi aka The Brooklyn Brawler after he allegedly sexually assaulted her backstage. The case will ultimately be dismissed.) She then issues another open challenge for the WWF Women's Championship to anybody in the crowd, and a woman in the crowd with red hair and a skirt is picked out. Ivory then hits her with the Women's title before going to town on her. Suddenly, Tori shows up and gets the better of Ivory as the woman picked out of the crowd is helped out of ringside by WWF security. Referees and officials then show up to separate both women.

He tells Shamrock to go ahead and nurse his wounds in the back if he wants to, but it only makes him "a puss." Shamrock shows up after his music plays a second time, this time with his ribs and left elbow taped up.

We then see Test attacking Pete Gas backstage before Rodney and Joey Abs can get his hands on him.

Triple H guests on commentary for the next match.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn and Chyna vs. The Rock ends in a no-contest. During the match, Triple H attacks The Rock from behind at ringside behind referee Earl Hebner's back as he becomes hostile to Jim Ross on commentary. Triple H eventually punches Jim Ross out, and "Stone Cold" Steve AUstin - who has been seen watching the match from backstage and hearing what Triple H has to say about him - rushes out and brwal brawls with Triple H at ringside as The Rock lays Chyna and Billy Gunn out.

After the show goes off the air, Triple H continues to brawl with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at ringside as The Rock chases "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn to the back. Austin and Triple H's brawl is taken over the barricade and into the front row, then heads back to ringside. The two of them eventually fight each other in the ring until Austin hits Triple H with a Stone Cold Stunner. Austin the celebrates with a couple of cold beers to send the fans home happy, but Chyna yanks Austin off the second rope and Triple H stomps Austin again before drinking a beer, smacking the beer can into his face and holding Austin up so that Chyna can slap him. Austin fights back, however, and hits both Triple H and Chyna with Stone Cold Stunners. He then celebrates with more beer.

He will take matters into his own hands if he has to, and if either Big Show or Kane, he will beat the hell out of them and that they both know he can do it. He also tells Kevin Kelly not to roll his eyes at him or else he'll beat the hell out of him, too.

Austin kicks Shane out of the ring, and 'Taker kicks Austin as he approaches with a chair. Austin hits 'Taker with a Stunner, then Vince gets off the commentary table to swing one of his crutches at Austin only to get punched in the face. Austin grabs another steel chair fro the outside, but 'Taker grabs the one that Austin left in the ring and uses it against him. 'Taker pushes Hebner to the corner when Hebner confronts him, then X-Pac gets in the ring as he prepares to hit Austin with a chair again. Austin grabs a TV camera and smashes it into 'Taker's forehead. Shane gets back in the ring, but Austin takes him down again. It is then revealed that The Undertaker is bleeding, but Hebner is still down. 'Taker gets Austin ready for the Tombstone, but Hebner notices that 'Taker is bleeding and ends the match. 'Taker hits Hebner, then Austin hits 'Taker with a Stunner. An angry Vince gets in the ring with a crutch in his hands, but he falls victim to a Stone Cold Stunner. Triple H then gets in the ring and assaults Austin until The Rock rushes in and fends off Triple H at ringside, taking their brawl to the back. Austin rolls out of the ring, then 'Taker gets out and grabs yet another steel chair as he tears up the timekeeper's area. Austin punches The Undertaker, then both men brawl at ringside. Shane gets in The Undertaker's way only to get punched out, then Austin and 'Taker brawl again. Referees and officials have to break the brawl up, and Austin goes at it with The Undertaker as he tries to make his way back to the back. Austin is eventually separated from The Undertaker, and a tearful Vince McMahon is seen in the ring as the crowd cheers. Austin gets in the ring and offers to shake Vince's hand, and Vince shakes his hand only to receive a Stone Cold Stunner on the way out.

Nitro-Glyercin - Monday Nitro recap for July 19, 1999

Scott Hudson temporarily replaces Tony Schiavone on commentary (this goes on from this week until August 2).

Sid Vicious shows up. He says he can tell by the cheers (or in this case, boos) of the fans that they feel the same anticipation that is running through his blood, because Hollywood Hogan has something that belongs to him. When Hogan enters the ring against him tonight, he had better realize that he has open arms for him just like the "miserable pukes" in the crowd does. He says the fans can scream "Hogan" at the top of their lungs, but it will do them no good for when it is over, Hogan will be standing in the middle of the ring, looking at him and telling him he is the master and the ruler of the world.

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

Before the next match, Jimmy Hart shows up on the video screen with the Junkyard Harcore Invitational trophy. He tells Finley that if he wants the trophy, all he has to do is come to Road Wild. He then tells him that Jerry Flynn is coming down the aisle.

Jerry Flynn vs. Fit Finley ends in a no-contest after Finley runs to the outside of the arena when he figures out where Jimmy Hart is at. During the match, Jimmy Hart is on the video screen, cheering Flynn on and taunting Finley. Finley has the match won when Finley realizes that Jimmy Hart is outside of the arena. He runs out after him, but he is attacked by The First Family (Flynn, Meng, Hugh Morrus, Brian Knobbs).

WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon is seen talking to Lodi and Lenny Lane, who asks them to sign their contracts - which are about to be renewed in the proper way, as he says that he knows their brothers. Lodi and Lenny Lane's secret that they are gay is safe...for now. Whether or not they are able to get a raise is another matter.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hollywood Hogan. Last week, when he beat "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, his life turned around. When he was laid out for 90 days and soul searching, he did not know how he would handle the professional wrestling world, but when he beat Savage, he knew it was time to turn his life around. He says that this is not the first time around the block for him, and he knew that the big dogs would all come after him when he won the World title. He welcomes Sid Vicious' challenge, but says Sid has one part of the equation wrong. He says that Sid will be at his feet, saying he is the man and the champion, and that he rules the world of wrestling. Hogan says he has his focus, his mind, body, spirit and soul ready for Road Wild. He says Kevin Nash has a chip on his shoulder, and after he beats Sid Vicious tonight, he will be aiming his guns at Nash, because he is the man and the champion and this is strictly business.

The WCW Hotline is plugged, with results from tonight's Nitro available on Option 3.

Norman Smiley beats Lodi in his first match in months with a La Magistral Cradle. After the match, Lenny Lane and Lodi do the Big Wiggle together, completely unperturbed by Lodi's loss.

Eric Bischoff guests on commentary for the next match.

Sting hits referee Charles Robinson with the Scorpion Death Drop before the next match can begin. Robinson is replaced by Mickey Jay as he is tossed out - both figuratively and literally - by Sting.

Sting beats "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to take control of World Championship Wrestling. During the match, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson drags referee Mickey Jay out of the ring. Sting attacks Anderson at ringside, bu he is soon assaulted from behind by Sid Vicious, who then places Sting back in the ring. After Sid leaves, Flair readies Sting for the Figure Four Leg Lock and locks it in. Sting's shoulders are on the mat in the hold, but he raises the shoulder up and quickly reverses it. Later on, Sting inadvertently takes out Mickey Jay with a Stinger Splash. He knocks Anderson off the apron, then hits Asya with a Stinger Splash when she tries to get involved in the match. Sting then puts Flair in the Scorpion Death Lock, but Mickey Jay is still down. Eric Bischoff leaves the commentary table and replaces Mickey Jay as the referee, and Flair gives up. After the match, Sid Vicious comes back and attacks both Sting and Bischoff from behind before putting Bischoff in a power bomb. Hollywood Hogan then shows up, and Sid Vicious gets out of the ring.

Rick Steiner retains the WCW World Television Championship. During the match, Horace hits Rick Steiner with a steel chair behind the referee's back, then tosses both the chair and Rick Steiner back into the ring. As referee Randy Anderson confronts Rick about the chair, Horace is attacked from behind by Kevin Nash. Rick Steiner then hits the top rope bulldog for the win. After the match, Kevin Nash and Rick Steiner fist bump each other, Hollywood Hogan shows up to check on Horace and wants to know why Kevin Nash is making this personal when he said that their match for the World title is strictly business. Nash says he lied, saying that it is still business, but this time, it is really personal.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Eddie Guerrero beats Psychosis. After the match, Villano V gets in the ring, followed by La Parka. They both attack Eddie for embarassing them last week by making them take their masks off, then Rey Mysterio Jr. shows up and hits Psychosis with a missle drop kick off the top rope as he clears the ring. Rey and Eddie suddenly run into each other, and Eddie then puts his hand out. Both men shake hands and make amends.

Stevie Ray wants to know what is going on as he talks with Vincent and Brian Adams. He is tired of The Jersey Triad (Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kanyon) after what they did to Booker T, and asks Vincent and Brian Adams to watch his back. Brian Adam asks if Stevie Ray is still nWo black-and-white or if Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) is back together. Stevie asks them to team up for now, and then he will answer their questions later.

The Jersey Triad (Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kanyon) show up. Before the next match, Kanyon says nobody is better than him, especially Booker T. DDP says that if Stevie Ray wants to get in their business, then now is the time for him to get his big, fat Cheez Whiz sucking butt out to the ring. Kanyon then says Stevie Ray's mom is so fat that the other day she tried to wear a shirt with a big X on it and a helicopter tried to land on her, and that every time she turns around, it was her birthday. When Stevie Ray shows up, he says that it will only take one of them to beat him.

Stevie Ray beats Kanyon after Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow's interference fails miserably. After the match, DDP and Bigelow take the boots to Stevie Ray before Kanyon hits Stevie with the Flatliner. DDP is about to duct tape Stevie Ray's wrists to the bottom rope when Booker T rushes into the ring and makes the save for Stevie Ray. The Jersey Traid retreat as Booker T dares them to get in the ring.

We see a video package for Team Madness ("Macho Man" Randy Savage, Sid Vicious, Madusa, Gorgeous, Miss Madness).

Robert Wuhl, the star of HBO original series Arliss, announces that WCW Superstars will be guest starring on Arliss this Sunday night at 9:30 PM Eastern, 8:30 PM Central on HBO. He then guests on commentary for the next match. Before the next match, he stays in character as John Arliss and announces that he will be representing NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman, who has been announced earlier in the night to return to World Championship Wrestling tonight.

Team Madness ("Macho Man" Randy Savage, Sid Vicious, Madusa, Miss Madness, Gorgeous George) shows up. Savage says that last week, Kevin Nash stole his WCW World Heavyweight Championship and that Nash is a dead man. He then says he has only one thing to say to Hollywood Hogan. He says he is a candidate for the President of the United States in the year 2000, and if that is not enough, he wants Kidman to walk the aisle, as he is not ready for the madness.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats Kidman. At one point in the match, Savage uses Gorgeous George as a human shield at ringside, and Miss Madness hits a hesitant Kidman in the back with a drop kick. Miss Madness almost does it again - this time in the ring and off the top rope as Gorgeous George distracts referee Johnny Boone from the apron - but Kidman ducks it and Miss Madness hits Savage instead. Nevertheless, Savage is able to hit Kidman with a piledriver before hitting the top rope elbow for the win...almost. Savage pulls Kidman up and goes for another elbow from the top rope, but Johnny Boone confronts him for it and gets knocked out as a result. Savage his the second top rope elbow, then goes for a third. Before that can happen, Dennis Rodamn shows up and hits Savage in the back with a purse. John Arliss leaves the commentary table and talks with Rodman, and says there is so much money in Dennis Rodman in WCW as "Mean" Gene Okerlund shows up to find out what is going on and Arliss tells Rodman not to blow it. Arliss says he will be under contract, and Savage goes after Rodman only to be held back by WCW security. Arliss wants a match between Savage and Rodman at the next pay-per-view, Road Wild. Tony Schiavone and Mike Tenay are also seen approaching the ring, and Savage says he wants Rodman right now. He tells Rodman to pick up his training bra and he will make him a man right now. Rodman says he is up to the challenge. Rodman then shakes his butt towards Madusa, Miss Madness and Gorgeous George, saying he is so mad he is going to make Rodman his bitch. Madusa and Miss Madness then start brawling again, and WCW security have to keep both women apart.

Before the next match, Konnan says there are a lot of wrestlers jockeying for position to get that money and says he is doing the same thing, and says that there are "punk mark busters" like Vampiro trying to show and prove. He dares Vampiro to get in the ring and prove himself one more time. Vampiro shows up, and when he gets in the ring, Konnan says "Show and prove now" before slapping him in the face. Vampiro then kicks Konnan in the side of the ribs. This starts a match.

Konnan beats Vampiro by disqualification when he is suddenly attacked by Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope). They and Vampiro then triple-team Konnan. Raven - who has not been seen in some time - then appears on the apron and watches things go down, and Rey Mysterio Jr. also gets in the ring to fight the ICP off only to fall victim to the numbers game.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up...almost. Instead, Buff Bagwell shows up dressed like The Cat, while another person shows up wearing a Sonny Onoo mask while accompanied by a beautiful woman. Bagwell mocks The Cat's dancing as he makes his way to the ring. He also makes fun of The Cat's speech as well, from saying he won't leave until he whups somebody to mocking the crowd to issuing an open challenge to anyone in the locker room. He says he has his "main man" Sonny Onoo with him, as well as his "main lady,: "Sonny Oh-Yeah." He says he will whup anybody in The Jacksons, then says he may want to click his red shoes three times and say "There's no place like my crib." He does that, but he is still in Rockford, Illinois. The real Ernest Miller and the real Sonny Onoo show up and fight their impostors. Buff Bagwell gets his hands on Sonny Onoo, and when Buff Bagwell punches Onoo's briefcase into The Cat's face when he tries to attack him with it, The Cat opens the briefcase up and attacks Buff with one of his red dancing shoes. The Cat says Buff may look and sound like him, but he can't dance like him as he puts his red dancing shoes on. The Cat does a little dance, then hits Buff with an elbow before Onoo counts to three.

The Revolution ("The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn) beat The West Texas Rednecks (Curt Hennig and Barry Windham) by disqualification when Bobby Duncum Jr. and Kendall Windham get involved in the match. Dean Malenko runs into the ring and fends off The West Texas Rednecks, but the numbers game catches up to him. All of a sudden, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas of Extreme Championship Wrestling fame - and former tag team partner of Dean Malenko - shows up and fights off the Rednecks. He tells Saturn, Malenko and Benoit that all the fans now what tough S.O.B.'s they are. Starting tonight, things are about to change in World Championship Wrestling. Where he is from, if someone hold you down, you step in front of them, bash their brains out with a stop sign and take your spot back. He says there is a cancer in WCW, and tonight, they take out the trash and the cancer and take WCW back where it rightfully belongs.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Hollywood Hogan retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by disqualification against Sid Vicious when he is attacked by Kevin Nash. Sting gets in the ring and fights Nash before hitting Nash and Sid with Stinger Splashes, then Rick Steiner shows up and attacks Sting. Nash, Sid and Rick Steiner continue to attack Hogan and Sting, then Goldberg comes out to "Crush" by Megadeth and fights them all off. Goldberg, Hogan and Sting all stand tall in the ring to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 19, 1999

RAW

The Corporate Ministry shows up to start tonight's show. Kevin Kelly is temporarily filling in for Jerry "The King" Lawler, who is late to the show tonight. WWF co-owner Vince McMahon says he hopes that the fans have brought their cameras tonight, because if they did, they just might record history on film. Should "Stone Cold" Steve Austin show up tonight, they should get ready to take his picture, as they will have captured history because it will be the last time Austin will be seen as WWF Champion. He talks about Austin's WWF title match against The Undertaker in a First Blood End of an Era match this Sunday, and says he is so confident that Austin will lose the WWF Championship that he guarantees he will lose the title to The Undertaker. He says that the stakes are the highest they have ever been, and it is the first time he has placed his own career on the line in a match. He then makes one thing clear: it is not just him placing his career on the line in the match, but it is also him placing The Undertaker's career on the line. The Undertaker grabs the microphone and tells Vince to back up, and tells him that nobody threatens him. The Undertaker reminds Vince that he was the one who made the deal, and while he has a problem with Austin, it is personal and he says "to Hell with business." He says he will open Austin up and become WWF Champion this Sunday, but he will do it for himself, not for Vince. Vince tells The Undertaker that he is standing in front of "The Corporation," and that he is the one who signed the checks and made him who he is today. The Undertaker gets in Vince's face and tells him that nobody made him, nobody owns him and nobody tells him what to do. Triple H shoves The Undertaker away from Vince and tells him to back off, but The Undertaker tells Triple H that he will split his melon like he will Austin's if he puts his hands on him again. Triple H tells Vince that his life hangs in the business, and yet he can't even trust The Undertaker, who holds all the cards. He says that he proved he was a team player at King of the Ring, and knows that Vince is the one who made him. He says that he knows his place and is nothing without him - unlike The Undertaker - and asks Vince to pay him back by giving him the title shot that was supposed to be his so he can kick Austin's ass for him. The Undertaker tells Triple H that the road to Fully Loaded and Austin goes through him. Vince says that Triple H may have something here, as this is all about control, The Corporation and its owner. Vince says The Undertaker's mind is so screwed up and that he has Austin on the brain to the point that his trust in The Undertaker is questionable. He makes a match between 'Taker and Triple H later tonight, where the winner will face Austin at Fully Loaded while the loser faces The Rock in a strap match. The Undertaker tells Triple H's blood will be on his hands tonight so he can bathe in Austin's on Sunday. Suddenly, Austin drives into the arena in a blood bank mobile, then gets on top of it and drinks a few beers while flipping Vince off. He then tells The Undertaker that if he wants blood, then he's brought him a whole truckload. Before the night is over, he will lock him in the bloodmobile and take a donation from Vince McMahon's skull.

Backstage, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon tells WWF co-owner Vince McMahon that everything is fine and that Triple H has everything under control. Triple H says that The Corporate Ministry is watching the perimeter and that he will be by his side. He says that if Vince takes care of him, he will take care of Vince.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James says "They say all dogs should be collared, and bitch, you know where mine's at." He also says that Chyna and Triple H were probably getting kinky with something similar last night, and tells her to put the collar on. Chyna almost puts the collar on, but goes for a cheap shot. Road Dogg ducks, but "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn gets in the ring. He tosses Road Dogg over the top rope and tries to hang him with the chain as Chyna gets a few cheap shots in, but X-Pac runs into the ring and chases Chyna and Gunn off.

Backstage, WWF owners Vince and Shane McMahon and Triple H almost get the scare of their life when someone knocks on their dressing room door, but instead of The Undertaker as anticipated, it is just The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs). Shane accompanies them to the ring.

The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon show up. Shane says he is here to publicly apologizes to his sister, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, and asks Stephanie to come to the ring so he can do the right thing and apologize to her. Stephanie heads to the ring, but Test does not trust Shane and asks her to stay backstage. Stephanie tells Test it will be okay, and she shows up and heads to the ring. Shane apologizes to Stephanie for what happened last week, and says he loves her more than any brother would ever love a sister, and says that he would never intentionally strike her. He blames everything on Test, and says that he has been screwing up everything to the point where everything is out of control, and big brother is here to save the day. He has things under control, and says that Joey Abs is willing to put differences aside, forgive Stephanie and take her back "just like it was supposed to be." Stephanie says she went out with Joey one time because Shane wanted her to, and it was more of a nightmare than a date. She says that she does not want any part of her or Joey. Joey asks Stephanie if she remembered how good it used to be. He touches her hair as she says she blew her first opportunity with him, and that he has a big heart and is willing to take her back. Stephanie immediately slaps Joey, then tells Rodney, Pete Gas and Shane to stay the hell out of her life before she leaves. Shane says he gave her a chance, but now they will do things his way and that he will stop at nothing for her happiness.

The Rock is seen making his way to the arena and signing an autograph.

We see footage from last Wednesday's SummerSlam press conference, stating that he will be bringing back law and order at the event, because Minnesota is where he rules.

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against the team of Prince Albert and Droz, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Droz) and Val Venis and The Godfather in a four-way elimination tag team match. The Acolytes are eliminated after The Godfather whacks Bradshaw in the back of his head with his cane. After some post-elimination interferene by The Acolytes, however, The Hardys retain the tag team gold.

We see GTV footage of Ben Stiller talking to Paul Reubens, Jeanine Garofalo and Kel Mitchell about how WWF co-owner Vince McMahon signed the contract for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker in a First Blood End of an Era Match at Fully Loaded with Austin's own blood. The four of them then talk about their new movie, Mystery Men, which opens July 30th (although it pushed back a week to August 6th), and Stiller says he would rather be checking out Debra's puppies and stick his face in them. Suddenly, Stiller notices the GTV camera and pulls it off the wall.

Jerry "The King" Lawler is now on commentary, replacing Kevin Kelly for the rest of the show.

Before the next match, Jeff Jarrett tells everyone to get off the gravy train as there are no puppies in everybody's future tonight. He says that everyone is talking about Debra, but Debra is only talking about him. He tells Austin to stay away from his Intercontinental title, or else he will skin him and make a pair of boots out of him for he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.

Jeff Jarrett beats Christian after the referee stops Christian from using Jarrett's guitar as a weapon. After the match, the lights go out. When they come back on, Jeff Jarrett is the victim of a bloodbath. Edge shows up, and he and Jarrett brawl before referees and backstage officials try to restore order. After Jarrett is taken to the back, Edge and Christian are both confused about the bloodbath on Jarrett.

As The Rock is seen heading to the ring backstage, Triple H tells Chyna to head to the ring with "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn as he takes care of some business with WWF co-owner Vince McMahon.

We see some footage from during the commercial break, where a blood-soaked Jeff Jarrett tells Terry Taylor that if Edge wants to bathe him in blood, then he has no problem getting Gothic on his ass at Fully Loaded.

Before the next match, The Rock says that it has come to his attention that "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn is not feeling well today, and tells him to come out to the ring so he can take his temperature with a thermometer that he will stick straight up his candy ass.

WAR ZONE

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beats The Rock. During the match, Chyna gets on the apron to distract the referee, but The Rock whips Billy Gunn into the ropes shortly afterwards, knocking Chyna off the apron. As The Rock hits the Rock Bottom and readies The People's Elbow, Chyna gets a steel chair, and hits The Rock in the back with it as he comes her way. Billy Gunn then hits the Fameasser and grabs the tights during the pinfall to get the win.

WWF co-owner Vince McMahon and Triple H laugh about signing the contract for the First Blood End of an Era match in "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's own blood.

Al Snow is seen grabbing his head and wanting the screaming to stop before the next match - the effects of the railroad spike being driven into the top of Head's head by Prince Albert last week. After The Big Boss Man shows up, he starts throwing steel chairs into the ring. Snow then tells The Big Boss Man to make it quick, as he cannot take it anymore, and tells Big Boss Man to hit him. Boss Man hits Al Snow in the head with his nightstick, then handcuffs Snow to the top rope before hitting him with the nightstick again. Al Snow is then seen smiling and salivating as referees try to restore order.

Edge and D'Lo Brown beat Mideon and Gangrel. During the match, it is announced that there is a camera stationed near "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, so that when Austin decides to bust WWF co-owner Vince McMahon's head open, Vince will find out and be able to make a break for it.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen leaving the locker room.

We see footage from during the break where "Stone Cold" Steve Austin says he is just leaving to get a drink of water, and that when he is ready to bust WWF co-owner Vince McMahon open, he will let the cameraman know.

Test beats "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman after Shane McMahon and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) attack Test. Shane slaps Test and tells him to stay away from WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, then "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock clears the ring with a baseball bat in his hand. Steve Blackman is seen carrying kamas in his hands.

The Undertaker is seen leaving his dressing room.

Only 503 hours and 23 minutes until the millennium!

We see footage from during the break where "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman is seen leaving the arena.

X-Pac tells Kane to leave due to aligning himself with The Undertaker before the next match.

Big Show and Hardcore Holly vs. X-Pac and Kane ends in a no-contest. During the match, The Undertaker shows up and choke slams X-Pac, then hits Big Show and Hardcore Holly with some steel steps at ringside. The Undertaker and Kane then leave together, but Kane suddenly heads back to the ring and The Undertaker follows. Kane checks on X-Pac, then Then Undertaker tells him "it's over." They leave again, but Kane sees the replay of The Undertaker choke slamming X-Pac on the TitanTron along with The Undertaker. When The Undertaker turns around, Kane choke slams The Undertaker, then he carries X-Pac to the ramp, where X-Pac hugs Kane after realizing that Kane has made his decision on who to align himself with.

Triple H and Chyna wheel WWF co-owner Vince McMahon to ringside before the next match.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker ends in a no-contest. During the match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen telling the cameraman trained on him that it's time to get a blood donation from WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, who is seen with a mortified expression on his face. Austin then shows up and attacks The Undertaker, and The Rock runs into the ring and fights Triple H. The Rock and Triple H take their brawl into the crowd, as down Austin and 'Taker. Austin ends up taking The Undertaker to the bloodmobile, and Austin ends up shoving The Undertaker into the back of the bloodmobile. Austin reclaims his custom-made "smoking skull" WWF Championship, then drinks a beer, wheels Vince out, punches him in the face and smacks Vince in the forehead with the "smoking skull" belt. Vince is busted open, and Austin signs the contract for his match at Fully Loaded before hitting Vince with the belt again and drinking some more beers. Paul Bearer shows up and gets The Undertaker out of the bloodmobile, and The Undertaker heads back into the ring to hit Austin in the head with a beer can, busting him open and ripping at the face of Austin with a torn-up beer can. The Undertaken then celebrates on the ring apron to end the show.

Heatwave 1999 - The Results

Taz tells Yoshihiro Tajiri that tonight is the night he gets torn apart by the Human Suplex Machine, because he is the World Heavyweight Champion and he is Taz.

Danny Doring says there is a lot of stargazing going on, and that everyone in TV Land wants to know who the hottest stars in Heatwave are going to be. He says it will be him and Roadkill, as they have been busting their backsides for too long. They're long, strong and bound to get their wrestle on. Tonight, they are here to stay.

Nova says that he will be the hottest star at Heatwave, because ECW is giving him the chance and nobody or nothing will cost him that shot. He also takes offense to Chris Chetti wanting the camera to get a good shot at his face.

Jason says he will be the hottest star at Heatwave, since he is the sexiest man alive.

The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) say they won't be the hottest stars at Heatwave. Instead, it will be Balls Mahoney, because when they get done tossing him into the air and powerbombing him through a flaming table, he will be going up in a blaze of glory.

Steve Corino says the hottest star at Heatwave is him, because when Yoshihiro Tajiri beats Taz, he will hand the ECW World Heavyweight Championship over to him, making him the hottest star in ECW on both TV and pay-per-view.

Lance Storm says it does not matter who the hottest star at Heatwave is, and what matters is who has the most impact: him and Justin Credible, The Impact Players. He says they have so much impact that Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn have to team together tonight to try to stop them, but he says nobody will stop them because their momentum started nine years ago in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Credible says that's not just the best, that's not just the greatest...that's Justin Credible.

Jerry Lynn says he does not like Rob Van Dam and never will, but he respects the hell out of him and is tagging with him tonight as a result, since he knows first hand what kind of punishment he can deliver in the ring. The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) are the two people in ECW he despise the most, and tonight, they're both getting smoked. He then opens a door, and inside are Rob Van Dam and Bill Alfonso. RVD says he will be teaming with Jerry Lynn, with or withourt ALfonso's permission. Sabu shows up and takes offense to this, and RVD tells Sabu he's about to show him that he's "the whole fucking team."

Joey Styles welcomes everyone to tonight's show.

Before the next match, Danny Doring and Roadkill show up with a woman. Danny Doring says he would normally come out to the ring and put the crowd down, but he is not going to do that because he was laying in his suite last night and had a revelation where he realized that the Danaconda needs to stop with the sexual tyranny and settle down. What he found was a honest, pure and chaste woman - to which the crowd responds that she is a ho and that she has herpes - that he loves, and asks her to marry him. The woman says she would love to. She then asks for the crowd, and the crowd chants that she is a crack whore. Roadkill cannot find a ring; instead, he finds a condom. As he is about to place the condom-turned-makeshift ring on her finger, Nova and Chris Chetti show up. Chetti shows up in a cape and a top hat, and the match starts as Chetti is still preening at the aisle, not having had made it halfway to the ring.

Nova and Chris Chetti beat Danny Doring and Roadkill. During the match, Chetti grabs the microphone and showboats after hitting a moonsault on Roadkill, saying that move was as pretty as he is, and that he has the ladies' heatwave in his pants. He then dances to music in the middle of the match, which causes the woman who accompanied Danny Doring and Roadkill to the ring to grind on him. Nova is disgusted with Chetti, and the music stops. The woman tries to slap Nova, but slaps Chettin instead. This causes Chetti to hit him with a Michinoku Driver before Danny Doring clotheslines both men from behind. Danny Doring and Roadkill are about to double-team Nova, but Nova hits the Kryptonite Krunch after Chetti kicks Roadkill in the head off the top rope. After a double bulldog off the top rope on Roadkill, they get the pinfall.

Jazz beats Jason with a Jazz Stinger into a steel chair.

Cyrus shows up at the commentary booth and says Paul Heyman sent him to commentary, much to the chagrin of Joey Styles.

Super Crazy beats Little Guido. During the match, Super Crazy hits a moonsault on both Little Guido and Big Sal E. Graziano in the crowd off the rail of a balcony. Later still, Big Sal E. Graziano hits Super Crazy with a 600-lb. Rocker Dropper as referee Jim Molineaux is dealing with Little Guido.

Cyrus says he is having a good time on commentary. Joey Styles announces that ECW is finally debuting on national television on The Nashville Network on Friday nigths at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central beginning August 27th. The first taping will be Saturday, August 15th in Toledo, Ohio at the Seagate Center, with more information available at ECWWrestling.com.

As The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) make their way to the ring, D-Von says that tonight or any other night is always time to testify. Buh Buh Ray says the ECW World Tag Team Championships are the only tag team titles that mean a thing in the business, and taht they are six times greatness and the best tag team in the world today. He dares anyone to knock them off the pedestals that they have climbed so high, as they are the greatest. He tells the wrestling world to take notice, and they are going down in history as the greatest tag team that ever lived.

Before the next match, D-Von Dudley says The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) are in the house, and that they have turned the heat up a little higher than normal. He says that if he were the crowd, he would sit down and shut the fuck up. Buh Buh Ray takes the microphone, and says that just being in "this miserable, piece of shit city" makes him him want to [inaudible]. He says the crowd is nothing but lower-class, white trash pieces of garbage. Tonight, Dayton, Ohio and the rest of the entire wrestling world are going to find out why he and D-Von are "the best goddamn tag team in the world," and if they had the time, they would come out there and kick the entire crowd's asses. He continues to mock the crowd, saying that there is "some faggot in a Hawaiian shirt out there," "a mom in the front row who taught her daughter how to suck dick" and "a ugly skankosaurus who's going to take nine inches of Black dick so far up her ass she won't know what hit her." Buh Buh Ray says the best part about mocking the crowd is that nobody has the balls to do anything about it. He then dares "a fat, bald motherfucker" to jump the guardrail and get in the ring with him, then says the guy is a little confused, and since he won't come to them, they'll come to the crowd. Security is in place as Buh Buh Ray mouths off to him, and Buh Buh Ray tosses beer in his face as a woman yells at Buh Buh Ray and spits at him. Buh Buh Ray calls the woman "a $5-an-hour fuckin' whore." "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner - who has bandages all over his face - then does his usual ring introduction for The Dudley Boyz. When Balls Mahoney shows up with Little Spike Dudley, he says that he and Spike will take the ECW tag team titles from them, and that this match is a Dayton Street Fight where falls count anywhere in the building.

Balls Mahoney and Little Spike Dudley beat The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) with a schoolboy and inside cradle to become the ECW World Tag Team Champions in a falls-count-anywhere Dayton Street Fight. After the match, the Dudley attack the new champs and hit both of them with a Dudley Death Drop. Sign Guy Dudley then pulls out two tables and some lighter fluid. The tables are set up, the lighter fluid is poured on them, and the tables are lit on fire. Both Spike Dudley and Balls Mahoney are driven through flaming tables, and Balls Mahoney is dropped on his neck. Suddenly, New Jack makes a shocking return with a shopping cart full of weapons, and fights off The Dudley Boyz himself before helping Spike Dudley and Balls Mahoney to their feet.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and Francine show up. Dreamer tells the the crowd that they are nuts if they think there will be a Heatwave without them, and after the show is over, he proposes that everyone goes back to the hotel, get drunk, get naked and have one hell of an afterparty. He says there are a lot of representatives for national television, pay-per-view and cable, and then talks about how he watched WWF King of the Ring three weeks ago and WCW Bash at the Beach, the latter of which nearly put him to sleep. He says none of this is on the wrestlers, as they deserve all the credit and respect that they give them, but Heatwave still has a few matches to go and asks the crowd "Is this the pay-per-view standard to set or what?" He then has two announcements to make. The first is that ECW can be seen on Friday Nights at 8 PM Eastern on The Nashville Network, meaning that 86 million viewers in the United States and 17 million in Canada will be able to watch them weekly. He says that the ECW locker room would not be here without the fans' love and support. Tommy talks about how he was on a card with 50 fans, and how they told their friends and the audience doubled until they sold out arenas. They had full houses and one TV station, then they achieved pay-per-view, and now they have achieved national television. He asks the fans to go even further and make ECW the #1 wrestling company in the world today. Tommy then breaks down, saying this all makes the second part of his announcement even harder. Before he can mention it, however, Jack Victory, Rhyno and Steve Corino show up. Corino says he is sorry to break up his sad announcement, and says Dreamer is afraid to admit he is "a 28-year-old has been." Corino calls Dreamer a casualty of hardcore wrestling, and for six years, Dreamer has slaved for ECW, falling from 18 tables and being bashed with more chairs for anybody. He says that Dreamer has spilled more blood than anybody else who has entered ECW, and that is has led to Dreamer's physical therapy not working and his two herniated discs in his spine not working to the point that Dreamer will have to get surgery and that Dreamer's career is over. Back in 1993, Dreamer used to wear suspenders, be in great shape, and and smile and slap hands. He says that this was the Dreamer he respected because he was a wrestler, but over time, the fans got to him and Dreamer became "the cancer of Extreme Championship Wrestling." Corino says that the "W" in ECW still stands for wrestling, and when he asks the fans if they come to see Francine, the crowd cheers. Corino says that after all the chairs, the tables and the pints of blood, he asks Dreamer if it was really worth it for all these people. Dreamer says yes. Corino yells at him, asking if he is nuts because his career is dead and he needs surgery for his back. He says he is 24 years old and in the greatest shape of his life. He has no scars on his body because he wrestles and gives the people what they want: an old-school match like what they used to see in Memphis, Tennessee, but Dreamer had to prove something and be "The Innovator of Violence." Corino says he now has a role for him. Since Dreamer will never wrestle on TNN and he will, he asks Dreamer to do the traditional thing of laying down in the middle of the ring so he can pin him - even hooking the leg, because he respects him - so he can elevate his career while Dreamer goes off to pasture and get a job doing something else, because he is the star of Heatwave. Dreamer says he doesn't care if he has to be wheeled out in a wheelchair, because he will not do the job because he's been here for six years while Corino has been here for four months. Dreamer says it was him and people like him who broke their backs for the people in the crowd, and he tells Corino to shove it up his ass. As Dreamer leaves, Corino attacks Dreamer, saying "Six years ain't nothin'" and that "I don't think we have a pension plan!" He asks Dreamer where his pride is, and says Dreamer is nothing. All of the chops and punches have no effect on Dreamer, who ends up punching Corino right in the face before Francine hits a Bronco Buster off the back of referee John Molineaux. After another punch to Corino's face and a Swinging DDT to Corino, Yoshihiro Tajiri shows up and attacks both Dreamer and Francine from behind with swift martial arts kicks. Jack Vicgory gets out of his wheelchair and punches Molineaux. Tajiri puts Dreamer in the Tarantula, then Taz shows up and stomps Tajiri out of the hold. This starts Tajiri vs. Tazz for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.

Taz retains the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Yoshihiro Tajiri. During the match, Taz pushes Jack Victory off the wheelchair on the ramp and into the ring ropes, and throws the wheelchair into Jack Victory's face. Later in the match, Taz grabs some sort of wire (the type of which is never explained, as Joey Styles instructs the production team to stay in a wide shot as Joey claims that Taz is going to take them off pay-per-view for this) and strangles Tajiri with it as he puts him in the Katahajime, to which Tajiri taps out. Referees, officials and even wrestlers from the back have to stop Taz, and when Judge Jeff Jones asks Tazz what he is doing, Taz tosses him off the side of the ramp before Taz declares that he is ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn beat The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm). Near the end of the match, Rob Van Dam is about to put Justin Credible through a table with the Five Star Frog Splash, but Sabu rushes in and dives off the top rope onto Justin Credible, putting him through. Rob Van Dam then aims for the middle of the ring to break a pinfall attempt by Lance Storm, but Storm moves out of the way and RVD lands on Lynn instead. Despite this, Lynn is able to hit Storm with the Cradle Piledriver for the win. After the match, Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn have a word with each other, then Sabu pushes RVD into Lynn, starting a brawl between all three men. Referees and officials have to stop the brawl.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for July 12, 1999

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Savage says he told everybody - and some can accept it and others cannot - that he is the baddest man on the planet for he is WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He thanks the fans for honoring him tonight, even though he is being showered by boos. As for why the rest of Team Madness is not with him right now, he says that this interview is something he had to do himself, because he is "the boss." Last night, Sid Vicious was very vicious, and all he had to do was look across the ring into the eyes of Kevin Nash. Nash was hypnotized, and he could not handle the madness. He will continue to do what he said he could do, and he came through. When the chips are down, he is the man who can close the deal. Savage then challenges anybody but Kevin Nash, because Nash does not deserve a shot at the World title, because he is a "zero" in life and he got his number: zero. Suddenly, the original, black-and-white nWo theme plays, and Hollywood Hogan makes a surprise appearance. Savage is furious at the return of Hogan, who wants to make sure he was not hearing things when Savage said "anybody." Savage tells Hogan that he made a mistake, because Hogan belongs in the same category of Kevin Nash and that Hogan and Nash belong to each other. Savage tells Hogan to get out of Dodge with Kevin Nash because he owns it. Hogan says he saw what went down last night, and says Nash should be champion right now. He tells Savage not to ask because you just might receive, and that it is now official and he is coming for the World title. Savage then says he overreacted and gave Hogan a way out, but Hogan did not bite. He is glad he did not, because today is a brand new day and he is the man with the stroke, and he would love to give Hogan a challenge tonight. Savage plans to beat Hogan and get him out, because he never liked Hogan and Hogan is through. Hogan says there is only one thing left to do, and that is do the thing.

We see a short video package for "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

We see another music video for "Rap Is Crap" by The West Texas Rednecks (Curt Hennig, Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, Bobby Duncum Jr.).

Konnan beats Vampiro - who attacks Konnan from behind as Konnan is on the microphone - by disqualification after Vampiro after throwing a steel chair at Konnan's face outside of the ring.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Dean Malenko is announced for later tonight.

Option 3 of the WCW Hotline provides the results from Bash at the Beach.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up with Sonny Onoo, and puts on the red dancing shoes to show everyone how to dance. After he does his dance, he says everyone knows how great he is, that he has a beautiful face and that he is a bad man. He goes on about how he hates rednecks and Jacksonville, Florida, and says he might close the town down early tonight by whupping all the rednecks in it, then says he can whup anybody. He then expresses his disgust with the boxing match between "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Buff Bagwell at Bash at the Beach, and says Bagwell not only look bad with the boxing gloves, but his mom Judy Bagwell had to help him. He says he will whup both of the Bagwells, then says Judy is out of his weight class, as she is a super-heavyweight and that she would have to drop weight to fgith him. Suddenly, Buff Bagwell shows up, and tells The Cat to shut his mouth. He then gets the crowd to cheer for him before saying he is buff and that The Cat is not the stuff. He also goes on to say he loves Jacksonville. The Cat then says Buff and Jacksonville can kiss his ass. Buff says that with The Cat being a three-time karate champion, he says that Jacksonville may not want to see Buff kick his ass, and then says "Don't sing it, bring it." Miller then attacks Buff from behind, starting a brawl. Buff gets the upper hand and eventually slams Onoo onto the mat when Onoo tries to get involved, but The Cat gets one of his dancing shoes off and hits Buff with a superkick. Sonny Onoo makes the "count" for the "pinfall," then he and The Cat leave.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Eric Bischoff guests on commentary for the rest of the show.

Before the next match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair uses his power as WCW President to call WCW Security to escort Perry Saturn and "The Crippler" Chris Benoit out of the building.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats Dean Malenko thanks to the constant efforts of. During the match, Flair backs into referee Charles Robinson as he has Dean Malenko in a sleeper, and Johnny Boone quickly replaces Robinson as ref before Flair gets Malenko in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Malenko manages to turn the hold around, but Asya gets in the ring and kicks Boone in the ribs. Robinson comes to and calls for the bell, then gives Flair the win. Malenko is about to violently confront Robinson for this when "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson attacks Malenko from behind. As Anderson and Flair take the boots to Malenko, Sting rushes in and clears the ring. Sting says Ric Flair being President of WCW means nothing to him, and that Flair's diamonds have lost their luster and that "Space Mountain" is on Viagra. As Flair tells Sting he is a dead man, Sting says that when he fought Flair for the first time ten years ago, he had his thumb down on guys like him and The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), and ten years later, Flair is still here. Flair says he is still here because he is the man and the boss, but Sting says Flair is still here and that his presidency means nothing to him. He is here to say that he is back in black and that he is embarrassed to let Dean Malenko do the talking all these weeks, because he is WCW and he wants control. Flair says his wife would like control, but she does what he tells her to do. Sting tells Flair that he will wrestle him for control of WCW. Flair laughs and says Sting is cheering for nothing, because he is the only one who can make the match. He then says it is time another Flair tore him up, and says that if Sting can beat David Flair, Sting will get a match with him. Sting says he is not above hurting David Flair to get to Ric, and if that is a deal with Ric, that is a deal with him, and says he will go through Ric to get control of WCW. Ric says he has to get through David first, because he is the boss all night long.

Kidman beats "Lord" Steven Regal. During the match, Regal launches Kidman into referee Randy Anderson. David Taylor and Fit Finley get involved afterwards, but when Finley tries to hit Kidman with a chair, Kidman ducks and Finley hits Regal instead. Kidman then botches a Shooting Star Press, hitting his legs on the top rope next to him instead of on Regal. Eric Bischoff checks on Kidman, then confronts Regal for continuing to put his hands on Kidman. Kidman gets an inside cradle on Regal, and Bischoff makes the three-count. Bischoff is confronted by Regal, Finley and Taylor after the match.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Sid Vicious beats Kenny Kaos. After the match, Sid asks Kenny Kaos if he felt the power, then tells Sting that he is conditioned and feels no regret or remorse for the things that he does. He says the stars in the sky tell him his destiny, and to reach it, Sting must be his next victim. He then gives Sting and the fans everything to think about: Therefore he does not know when the master is in his house, he can only wish that he come suddenly and take him while he is asleep.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair gives Sting one last chance to run before the next match and says that nobody will think any less of him, but Sting stands his ground.

Sting vs. David Flair ends in a chaotic no-contest. When refereee Charles Robinson refuses to call for the bell after the Scorpion Death Lock, Sting hits Robinson with the Scorpion Death Lock. WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson get in the ring, but Sting makes quick work of them. FLair even goes so far as to use Asya as a shield when Sting goes for another Stinger Splash, and all of Ric Flair's camp runs away.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund awards the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational trophy to the winner of the invitational, Fit Finley. Fit Finley says he stands in the ring representing Northern Ireland, and says the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational was the hardest match of his career. He says he, David Taylor and "Lord" Steven Regal had a plan, and it worked, and they sent everyone to the hospital. He says everyone in the tournament found what it is like to be a tough man, and that Americans know nothing of the sort or about respect with air conditioners, heaters and Waffle Houses. He says he has the heart of a lion, is tougher than titanium and lower than the lowest rattlesnake, and nobody can stand with him. Finley is suddenly assaulted from behind by The First Family (Brian Knobbs, Hugh Morrus, Jerry Flynn). Other participants from the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational (including Public Enemy - Johnny Grune and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) show up in the ring, and everyone brawls as Jimmy Hart and The First Family steal the trophy. Fit Finley runs after the Family as everyone else from the invitational brawls in the ring. Regal and Taylor head towards the back to help Finley.

Booker T beats Diamond Dallas Page by disqualification. During the match, it is announced by Eric Bischoff that as per people who are over "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's head and position as WCW President, Flair will be facing Sting with control of WCW on the line next week on Nitro. Also during the match, Booker T inadvertently shoves DDP into referee Nick Patrick as DDP goes for the Diamond Cutter. He hits the Ax Kick, but Kanyon gets in the ring and hits Booker with the Flatliner before placing DDP on top of Booker and reviving Nick Patrick. Booker T kicks out in the nick of time. After this, Kanyon tries to get a handful of powder, but Nick Patrick is slightly blinded and Booker knocks the powder back into Kanyon's face. Bam Bam Bigelow hits Booker T as he goes for a cover, and the bell is called for. DDP hits Nick Patrick with a Diamond Cutter before hitting an assisted Diamond Cutter with Bam Bam on Booker. The Jersey Triad (DDP, Bam Bam, Kanyon) tie Booker to the ropes in the corner with duct tape and continue to attack. We then see a camera trained on the black-and-white nWo, and as they all mock Booker T while watching the match from the locker room, Stevie Ray leaves the room and rushes into the ring with a steel chair, clearing the ring out. The crowd chants "Harlem Heat" as Stevie Ray frees Booker T from the duct tape.

Hollywood Hogan beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for the sixth time. During the match, Madusa and Miss Madness try to get involved in the match, but Hogan rams them into each other. This leads to an argument between Madusa and Miss Madness at ringside, and WCW Security have to quickly move in to separate both women and escort them to the back. Later still, Sid Vicious shoes up and attacks Hogan from behind, and hands Savage a chain, which Savage wraps around his fist. Sting gets in the ring and brawls with Sid, and as referee Mickey James is preoccupied with what is happening outside the ring, Savage punches Hogan with the chain. Mickey James makes the count, but he is dragged out of the ring by Kevin Nash, who hits Savage with the Jackknife Power Bomb before leaving the ring. Hogan puts his arm over Savage, and Mickey Jay makes the count to give Hogan the win and the title. After the match, Kevin Nash welcomes Hogan back to WCW, and says that is two times he has handed him the World title. Nash says thought it was safe to get back in the water, but the shark has come back to the tank, and challenges Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, no joke and no lay-down. This time, the outcome will be his way, as he is tired of being screwed around and he wants to finish this once and for all. Hogan tells Nash he has his World title match.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 12, 1999

RAW

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start tonight's show. He knows that WWF co-owner Vince McMahon can hear him from backstage, and says he has had his attorneys draw up the contract and make sure that it is iron-clad that when he wins, Vince will be gone. As far as The Undertaker busting him wide open goes, that does not even need to be brought up. He then tells Vince to come down to the ring so they can sign the contract. Vince shows up in a wheelchair, and wheels down to the ring. Austin asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they think Vince looks completely pathetic, then leaves the ring and places it on a table in front of the ring. He tells Vince to sign the contract. Before Vince signs, he lets everyone know for the record that he was recently involved in a motorcycle accident and sustained multiple injuries, but nothing would keep him from coming here and signing the contract. Vince pulls out his own pen and reading glasses, but says he will not sign it unless Austin signs it first, as he does not trust him. Austin says he will sign it, but only if Vince gives him his property first: his custom-made "smoking skull" WWF Championship. He says they can do this the hard way, which is handing the property over, or they can do it the hard way, which involves shoving the contract so far up Vince's ass he'll have to open his mouth to sign it. After Austin tells Vince to get one of his flunkies to send him the title, Kane suddenly shows up, and Vince asks Austin to wheel him up the ramp. All of a sudden, The Undertaker shows up from behind and attacks Austin from behind with the "smoking skull" belt. The Undertaker attacks Austin until Austin's head is busted open, and Vince is heard telling The Undertaker to "bust him open." Vince then hands 'Taker a fountain pen, and The Undertaker collects some of Austin's blood with it. He hands the pen to Vince, who then signs the contract in Austin's own blood and leaves with The Undertaker.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin has to receive stitches backstage, and Austin yells at the EMTs to get the doctor as he has some business to take care of.

Edge vs. Gangrel ends on the stage, where Gangrel pushes Edge into the recess where his entrance elevator is at, which is surrounded by fire.

A doctor checks on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's head wound backstage. Austin finds out he has a complex laceration that will require ten to twelve stitches to close. Austin does not care.

This Wednesday at 11 AM Eastern, 10 AM central, a SummerSlam press conference will be held in the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is announced that Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be returning to the ring at SummerSlam.

X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James tar and feather ring announcer Howard Finkel backstage for ratting out where they were to the police last week before heading to the ring. X-Pac then calls out Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, saying that if their "corporate kiss-asses" want to take the D-Generation X, they will have to take their last breaths to get it, for at Fully Loaded, their asses are grass, and he's going to smoke them. Road Dogg says that they bleed neon green, and that's it what's in their hearts, not what's in their wallets, and they will continue represent D-Generation X. Kane suddenly shows up and gets in the ring, and X-Pac wants to know what's going on with him. X-Pac tells Kane he knows Kane is confused, but he cannot let The Undertaker manipulate him like he has in the past. If he wants anything to do with The Undertaker, he wants nothing to do with Kane, and tells Kane he has to make a choice. Suddenly, Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn show up and attack all of them, then The Undertaker shows up and cleans house until he and Kane stare down in the middle of the ring. The Undertaker tells Kane that he is his brother, and he will not make him choice and that he would never ask him to. As The Undertaker leaves, Kane leaves the ring, but stops short of walk ing up the ramp.

Michael Cole reports that he will interview Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn after the next match.

Before the next match, Val Venis says "The Big Valbowski" is a lot like Mick Foley, as he is hard to beat and he never, ever seems to want to stay down.

Val Venis and The Godfather beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) by disqualification after Michael Hayes hits Val Venis in the back with a tag team title belt to break up a pinfall. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. After the match, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) attack The Hardys from behind, and this starts a brief brawl between all three teams that referees quickly break up.

Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn says they are the real D-Generation X and are getting ripped off, as they own everything. Triple H says that if X-Pac and "Road Dogg" want to lay claim to everything DX, they'll have to take it at Fully Loaded. Tonight, they're going to kick their asses just for the fun of it, and Triple H tells X-Pac and Road Dogg to bring "the big red retard" Kane with them if they can get Kane's nose out of The Undertaker's ass.

Jeff Jarrett and Debra are seen backstage, while "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen leaving the medical room with his head stitched up and bandaged.

We see a vignette for Tori.

Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up. Jarrett says he has a load of news for everyone, and until everyone starts showing him the proper respect, then Debra's puppies are going to stay in his doghouse and only he will dictate when they come out to play. Suddenly, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - the bandage still on his head - runs in and hits Jarrett with a Stone Cold Stunner after Debra gets out of the ring. Austin says that if The Undertaker wants his blood, then he wants a piece of The Undertaker's ass tonight in this ring, with no rules, no referee and anything goes. As Austin leaves the ring, Big Show comes out. He tells Austin to think about this, and tells him that it's going to be him, The Undertaker and Kane as 'Taker has recruited Kane and it will more or less be a handicap match. Austin may not want his help, but he wants to kick The Undertaker and Kane's asses just as much as Austin does, and he proposes teaming together to send them to Hell. Austin tells Big Show that if he can get his ass in the ring, then somebody's going to get their ass whipped, and that's the bottom line because he said so. Jarrett gets back in the ring, and as soon as he tells the guys in the back to cut Austin's music, Austin runs abck into the ring and hits Jarrett with another Stunner.

WAR ZONE

Before the next match, Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn come out to D-Generation X (X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James)'s theme despite not being part of DX, and Kane fails to show up for the match. Triple H says that if the big goof isn't going to make it, he cuts them a little deal where if X-Pac and Road Dogg give him, Chyna and Gunn the rights to D-Generation X, they won't kick their asses. X-Pac tells them to suck it. Suddenly, The Rock shows up and runs into the ring, replacing Kane as he tries to get a piece of Triple H.

D-Generation X (X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James) and The Rock beat Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn.

Terry Taylor interviews Droz and Prince Albert backstage. Droz says life is about experiment, growing and doing something a little different as he wears a dress. He plans to have an Evening Gown Match where the first man stripped to his bra and panties is the loser. He then heads to the locker room to wax his bikini line.

The Undertaker is seen talking to Kane backstage.

Droz heads to the ring and asks who is man enough to accept his challenge for an Evening Gown match. Suddenly, Al Snow shows - in a dress - with Head. He says they have heard a challenge, and since they need a challenge and faced some little people last night, they can't look any more ridiculous now and will take the match if it is hardcore rules. Droz accepts.

Al Snow beats Droz in a hardcore rules Evening Gown Match after clamping onto Droz's privates with a pair of salad tongs. After the match, Snow clamps Droz in the privates with a salad tongs. After the match, Snow hits Droz with a steel chair before elbow dropping him through a table, and Prince Albert hammers a railroad spike into the top of Head's head.

We see footage from earlier tonight where "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry is back only to find out his blood pressure is 190/120. Henry cannot compete tonight.

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) show up. Faarooq says "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown left the arena because they knew he and Bradshaw would kick their asses. Faarooq then demands an opponent, saying that they came here tonight to kick somebody's ass. Bradshaw says they came here for a fight, and if nobody wants to approach the ring, then somebody had better get ready as they are coming to the back. As they head backstage, Hardcore Holly shows up and fights both of them on his own. Not surprisingly, The Acolytes wallop him until Big Show shows up and carries Holly to the stage. Holly is dazed, saying that he had the match under control.

Joey Abs is seen talking to WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon on GTV, saying he was a jerk before but is a changed man now, asking her for one more chance. Stephanie slaps Joey Ryan, saying she only went out with him only for his brother, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon. She tells Joey to stay away from her.

The Gauntlet Match between Test and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) ends after WWF co-owner Shane McMahon runs into the ring and attacks before "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman gets a piece of Test. Suddenly, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock - now back following suffering internal injuries - fights Blackman and takes their brawl to the back before Shane and the Posse attempt to break Test's ankle with a steel chair clamped onto the foot, with Shane elbowing a few referees who try to get to him from behind. WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon rushes in and grabs Shane from behind, but Shane elbows her from behind and turns around only to find out it is Stephanie. Shane and the Posse immediately help Stephanie to the back.

We see some footage from during the commercial break where "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock brawl backstage.

Michael Cole interviews The Undertaker and Kane. The Undertaker says he and Kane are together as one once again. He says blood is thicker than water, and at Fully Loaded, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's blood will flow, as he will make him suffer. He plans to bust Austin's head open, and he also might drink some blood from the cut. He says that tonight, Austin will get a sample of what is to come at Fully Loaded, and he will not only see it...but he will feel it.

Only 671 hours and ten minutes to the millennium...which is in less than a month. Huh?

Kane shows up with a turnbuckle bolt - the same weapon Big Show struck him with last night on Sunday Night Heat - in his hand as heads to the ring before the next match. When Big Show shows up, The Undertaker and Kane go after him, and Kane tries to make use of that turnbuckle bolt only to fail to do so.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Big Show beat The Undertaker and Kane. During the match, Kane knocks Big Show out with a blow to the back of the head with a turnbuckle bolt. Austin tries to fight Kane and The Undertaker off, but he ends up getting choke slammed by Kane, knocking off the bandage around his head. Big Show gets back up and fights back against Kane as The Undertaker chokes Austin with his own shirt before trying to bust Austin open again with a steel chair. Austin dodges the chair shots and fights back, then gets back in the ring and fights Kane. Kane gets the upper hand, and The Undertaker busts Austin open again. This does not stop Austin, who hits Kane with a Stone Cold Stunner for the pinfall as The Undertaker and Big Show brawl outside of the ring.

After the show goes the air, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Big Show give each other a high five, then celebrate with some cold beer. After this, Big Show heads to the back, but Austin runs back into the ring with him for one more round and to clean some of the blood off his head and face with aforementioned beer. He then lays on the ramp on the way to the back and tries to drink three beers at one time.
