"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Brandon Cutler. During the match, Prince Nana tries to spray Cutler with with his own cold spray, but he hits Cage instead, and Cutler hits Prince Nana in the eyes with the spray. Nevertheless, Brian Cage is able to beat Cutler and win the match.
The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, Daniel Garcia) beats Leon Ruffin, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams and Tony Deppen in a Trios match.
Mercedes Martinez beats JC with the Brass City Sleeper.
Wheeler Yuta beats "The Reality" Zack Clayton.
Before the next match, Ari Daivari announces that if Encore helps them win, Encore will be $50,000 richer. He also says it will be easy because Matt Hardy cannot use the Twist of Fate.
Matt Hardy and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat The Trust Busters (Ari Daivari and Sonny Kiss) and Encore in a Trios match when Matt Hardy uses the Twist of Fate anyway.
Alex Reynolds beats Kip Sabian with a surprise schoolkid pin. After the match, Kip Sabian attacks Alex Reynolds.
Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page, who becomes infuriated when told that Matt Hardy used the Twist of Fate. Matt Hardy shows up and pays the $50,000 up front to Ethan Page, saying it was worth every penny. Isiah Kassidy whispers into Ethan Page's ear that it was "orgasmic."
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta) beats The Factory (Aaron Solo, Lee Johnson, Cole Karter) in a Trios match.
Michael Hopkins and Miggy Rose - now known as "24K" - beat Agents of Chaos (Bryce Saturn and Charles "R-Three" Cassus).
Backstage, Jordan Cruz meets with Ju Dizz and says he is a big fan of his, then says that he hopes Ju Dizz gives "Benevolent" Jack Banning what he deserves.
Big Hoss beats El Primohenio Tribeca.
Backstage, Jeremy McPete interviews Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon). Slade says they deserve respect, and McCalleon says they are losing before all the other teams are cheating. He then says that if the other teams want to play dirty, they also know a thing or two about playing dirty.
Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews El Primohenio Tribeca, then Halston Boddy shows up and says Primohenio's win against Lord Crewe is a fluke thanks to Dom Kubrick, and says that he should go for a rematch. Primohenio says he knows how to get over in Championship Wrestling, and says he will have the rematch on one condition: if he wins, Halston Boddy becomes his manager. Halston Boddy accepts and says he can make his dreams come true.
Dom Kubrick beats "Mr. Attitude" James Brady.
Howdy Price and Levi Shapiro meet with their new apprentice, who is impatient and wanting Lord Crewe. Levi Shapiro tells him once again and there are levels to this, and Howdy gives him the option of either heading to the next town or staying with them where the money is.The man says he cannot wait, but Howdy Price and Levi Shapiro have him follow them to the back as they have something for him to do today.
Bateman beats "The New Age Punisher" B-Boy.
The show ends with "Poppin'" EJ Sparks vs. Adriel Noctis vs. Ju Dizz from Primetime Live.
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta) and Rocky Romero beats The Factory (QT Marshall, Aaron Solow, Lee Johnson, Cole Karter, Nick Comoroto) after Danhausen returns with a jar of teeth and a spike as Best Friends' and Rocky Romero's fifth man. After the match, QT Marshall tries to run, but Best Friends and Rocky Romero toss him back in the ring where Danhausen hits him with the spike.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Konosuke Takeshita. He says that he looked forward to last night's fight and coming back to AEW, which he is officially a member of. He is glad to be part of AEW and thanks Tony Khan, the staff and the fans and he plans to make his dream of wrestling in America come true.
"All Ego" Ethan Page guests on commentary for the next match.
"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats "The Machine" Brian Cage after countering the F-5 and hitting a Ro-Sham-Bo to advance to the finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament.
We see a trailer for the AEW Fight Forever video game.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Eddie Kingston. Eddie says that he was eighteen years old when he first saw Jun Akiyama fight and knew he wanted to fight the old King's Road style, then ends up being at a loss for words when he says he is not losing tonight.
Eddie Kingston beats Jun Akiyama. Both Eddie and Akiyama bow in respect to each other after the match. Afterwards, Kingston celebrates with Ortiz. Eddie Kingston then takes the microphone and says it is not about him, and thanks the fans in the arena for coming tonight, thanks Jun Akiyama and thanks the King's Road style before hoping that he made the late Japanese wrestling greats proud. He then tells everyone to order the pay-per-view before saying that he wants to see Jon Moxley beat MJF - leading to him calling MJF "a piece of shit" after he gets booed - as well as the women's matches tonight.
Jungle Boy - now going by "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry again - beats Luchasaurus in a steel cage match after driving Luchasaurus through a table with an elbow drop off the top of the cage as his family watches on in the front row. During the match, Christian Cage unlocks the cage door, but he is hauled off to the back by security soon after.
Before the next match, The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) come out in full with M.T. Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler and Don Callis to "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas.
Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) after PAC places a ring bell hammer in Fenix's hand, which Fenix uses while in a daze to counter the One-Winged Angel with a roll-up to retain the titles.
Before the next match, "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose comes out in a white low rider convertible in a tribute to Eddie Guerrero.
In a match that sees both women steal each others' finishing moves, Jade Cargill - dressed as Cheetara from Thundercats - retains the TBS Championship against "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose and goes 42-0.
"The Ocho" Chris Jericho retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against Claudio Castagnoli, Sammy Guevara and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in a four-way match.
Saraya's brother Zak Zodiac is seen in the front row for the next match.
Saraya beats Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. with two instances of the Ram-Paige to win her first wrestling match in more than five years. Saraya hugs her brother Zak Zodiac after the match.
Samoa Joe beats Powerhouse Hobbs and Wardlow to become TNT Champion after hitting Wardlow with the TNT Championship before putting Hobbs to sleep with the rear naked choke.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Chris Jericho and Jake Hager. He says that Jericho appreciates the competitiveness that Sammy Guevara gave and says he will be a future world champion, but for now, he is a champion. Suddenly, Orange Cassidy and Danhausen show up, and Orange says he knows a former ROH champion who has a title shot: Tomohiro Ishii. Jericho tells Orange he still owes him $7,000 for his jacket and says Tomohiro Ishii reminds him of a "young boy" before accepting Ishii's challenge. Jericho leaves, then Jake Hager says he likes his hat and asks Orange Cassidy what is in his backpack. Orange Cassidy pulls out the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, then challenges him for the title next week before complimenting the hat. Danhausen and Orange Cassidy leave, then Hager says "You're damn right, it is! I like this hat!"
Before the next match, Jeff Jarrett shows up with four men in black hoodies and Sting masks, then a body bag shows up on the middle of the stage. Jay Lethal and the men in the Sting masks start to approach the body bags as Darby Allin's music plays. All of a sudden, the pyro goes off, and Darby shows up and attacks Jay Lethal and the men in the Sting masks. Meanwhile, Sting shows up behind Jeff Jarrett, who is unaware for several seconds before he turns around.
Sting and Darby Allin beat Jay Lethal and "The Last Outlaw" Jeff Jarrett despite the interference by Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt, the former of whom gets hit with a Coffin Drop-Scorpion Deathdrop combination to take him out of the match.
Jamie Hayter beats Toni Storm to become the Interim AEW Women's World Champion following interference from Rebel (who soon gets ejected) as well as Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., who tears off a turnbuckle cover that Hayter sends Toni Storm into to win the title.
The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland). During the match, Swerve Strickland grabs some pliers, and after Billy Gunn is removed to the back when he tries to stop Swerve, Swerve then tries to get Keith Lee to win with the pliers. Keith Lee tosses the pliers away, as he refuses to cheat to win. Swerve slaps Keith Lee, and Keith Lee picks up Bowens before patting him on the back, walking away and leaving Swerve high and dry and allowing The Acclaimed to retain.
It is announced that tonight was the first is a series of seven matches between Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) and The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson), with the second match taking place this Wednesday.
MJF beats Jon Moxley to become the AEW World Champion! During the match, MJF pushes the referee into Moxley's path, and the ref goes down. As MJF pulls out the Dynamite Diamond Ring, William Regal shows up and tells him to put it down before threatening to beat him up. MJF throws the ring down and flips Regal off, then Moxley goes for a sleeper as a second ref gets in the ring only for the second ref to go down when MJF bumps Moxley into him. Moxley then goes for the bulldog choke and MJF taps, but the first referee has not yet fully recovered. After this, William Regal slips his brass knuckles to MJF, who then punches Moxley out and hides the evidence in his trunks before the referee recovers and makes the three-count.
The Nightmare Posse (Mike Anthony, Simon, Mr. Chris) The Hot Shots (Coach Justin Klein, Ethan Ross, Brandon Savage) to advance in the Memphis Trios Tournament. After the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews The Nightmare Posse. Simon says The Posse have found Mike Anthony, and Mike Anthony says he won the first tournament and that he will win the second. He then says that while he is Memphis Heritage Champion, his hunt is for Brett Michaels, and he will take on him and anyone dumb enough to take him on.
We hear from Zay Washington, who chalks up Aaron Roberts turning on him to nothing but jealousy, then says jealousy is an ugly disease and that Roberts will find that out next week.
"The True American" Trace Lee Hunt beats Jason Genesis with the Sharpshooter. after Maddie the American Baddie stops Goddess from grabbing Genesis' hands and putting her in the Sharpshooter as Trace Lee Hunt does the same to Jason Genesis.
Tim Bosby beats Adam Priest. After the match, Tim Bosby refuses to shake Adam Priest's hand.
We hear from The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, "Casasnova" Colton Cage, Van Vicious, Diana Taylor). Jimmy Blaylock says he cannot wait for the trios tournament, because he has the best and they will demolish anyone in their way. We then hear from Team WrestleCenter (Derrick King, Mackenzie Morgan, Ray Ray Sanders). Mackenzie Morgan says she is ready for Diana Taylor, and Ray Ray Sanders says he is tired of what The Hollywood Clique has been doing to him.
Team WrestleCenter (Derrick King, Mackenzie Morgan, Ray Ray Sanders) beat The Hollywood Clique ("Casasnova" Colton Cage, Van Vicious, Diana Taylor) to advance in the Memphis Trios Tournament.
Backstage, Lance Archer and Ricky Starks are seen brawling backstage before their match starts.
"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats Lance Archer to advance in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. During the match, it is announced that next week's show will air at 4 PM Eastern/3 PM Central. After the match, Prince Nana and "The Machine" Brian Cage show up, and Archer attacks Starks from behind. After slamming Starks' head on the ring steps, Archer then choke slams him into them.
In backstage footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. Jericho says that sooner or later, things will break down between Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli because their egos are too big. He says that the Ring of Honor World Championship will stay with him, and that he and Sammy Guevara guarantee it. Jericho leaves, then Sammy says "We'll see about that."
Hook retains the FTW Championship against Lee Moriarty after reversing the Border City Stretch into Redrum.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Preston "10" Vance, John Silver, Jose the Assistant and Rush. Jose says Silver is "the clown of the dark order" while 10 is more serious. When Silver says that he and 10 will beat Jose and Rush, 10 walks away. Rush then tells Silver that he has beaten him once and that he will beat him again next week.
Athena beats Madison Rayne. After the match, Athena attacks Madison Rayne, and when referee Aubrey Edwards tries to break it up, Athena decks her. Suddenly, Mercedes Martinez shows up and not only confronts Athena, but chases her out of the ring.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Best Friends and The Factory. Orange Cassidy challenges The Factory to a five-on-five match at Full Gear. Rocky Romero shows up, then Orange Cassidy produces a videotape before Rocky and Best Friends leave. In the videotape, we see footage of Danhausen at a film reel and a jar of teeth. The Factory, thinking that Danhausen is the other man in the match, walk away thinking they will win at Full Gear.
We see a video package of The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart) re-uniting and taking out other wrestlers in a dark room.
Mark Henry interviews Jun Akiyama, Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston. Ortiz says he and Eddie have been ready for this match for years and that Takeshita and Akiyama will have to fight for their lives and prove they are the best. Takeshita tells Eddie and Ortiz that this may be a dream match for them, but it will soon become a nightmare.
Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama beat Eddie Kingston and Ortiz.
Backstage, Cedric Alexander is met by JD McDonagh. Alexander says he is aware of McDonagh's "creepy" reputation, but McDonagh asks what is creepy about making one's mind impervious to empathy or one's body impervious to pain, and asks what it is like wrestling with a heart rate of 40 before saying his mind and body are at complete zen thinking about what he will do to Cedric. He then says he would rather be creepy than physically vulnerable.
Rich Swann beats Jason Hotch, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Bhupinder Gujjar, Yuya Uemura and Kenny King in a six-way match on the countdown after Kenny King costs Mike Bailey the victory and allows Swann to get the with with a backspring cutter on Jason Hotch.
The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat Bullet Club ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) to become the #1 contenders for the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championships on the countdown.
Bully Ray beats Moose in a Tables Match.
Gia Miller interviews Traci Brooks. Traci says that Frankie Kazarian is focused on tonight's main event, and that Traci is watching from home in Cananda and that no matter what, his family will be proud of him. She then says she has a feeling that Kazarian will be coming home with the Impact Wrestling World Championship.
The Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka) retain the Impact World Tag Team Championships against Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans.
Backstage, "Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey admit to The Motor City Machine that they gave them a run for their money and also mentioned their upcoming tag team run in Japan. Shelley says they will come back better and they will get another shot at the New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Tag Team Championships while comparing both teams' experience. The Major Players (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers) then show up and tell both teams to become the new Impact World Tag Team Champions.
Mickie James beats Taylor Wilde. After the match, "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo shows up and calls Mickie "a selfish bitch," then says she has everyone fooled into thinking she is here to better women's wrestling and the Knockouts division before saying "that's bullshit" and taht sheis only here for herself. She says she has seen through Mickie since day once and ended her Knockouts Championship wrestling, then says she was not content with that and ruined her friendship with Chelsea Green as well as her career. She then says that Mickie is the one woman she has left to beat in Impact, and she is not only intent on ruining her career, but ending it.
Heath and Rhino retain the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championships against The Major Players (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers). During the match, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up to watch the match from ringside, and whn Matt Cardona takes one of their metal folding chairs to use as a weapon, Sabin takes it away, allowing Heath and Rhino to win and retain.
Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Bully Ray. Bully Ray says he should be in his hotel room with a bag of ice due to Moose bringing the fight tonight, but he will be backstage watching the main event tonight to see what happens between "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and Frankie Kazarian for the Impact Wrestling World Championship. He says that he has told Josh Alexander when he would call his shot, but Frankie might become champion. Bully Ray also says that he does not know why Kazarian does not trust him, as they have been friends for years, but he is adamant about doing this the right way. He wishes good luck to both Alexander and Kazarian, as one of them will become champion, but one of them will be facing him.
Before the next match, Crazzy Steve says that the results of the next match may be observed in the obituaries due to the hands and hooves of "the overwhelming onslaught of Over Drive" known as Black Taurus.
Trey Miguel beats Black Taurus to win the X Division Championship Tournament and his second Impact Wrestling X-Division Championship after shooting spray paint into Black Taurus' eyes before hitting the Lightning Spiral to win.
Jordynne Grace retains the Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Championship against Masha Slamovich in a Last Woman Standing Match after a Muscle Buster through a wooden door.
"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander retains the Impact Wrestling World Championship against Frankie Kazarian. Both men raise each others' hands in a sign of respect, then Bully Ray shows up. Bully Ray says he has witnessed an incredible professional wrestling match for the last 40 minutes and that this is what professional wrestling is all about. He calls Alexander the most incredible world champion on the planet right now, and out of every company, he would pick Alexander every time. He then says the last match deserves a standing ovation, then mentions his promises that he would look Alexander in the eye and shake his hand, then announces that he is challenging Alexander for the Impact Wrestling World Championship at Hard To Kill. He then says that if Alexander shakes his hand, he accepts. Alexander shakes his hand and accepts. As Alexander leaves, Bully Ray attacks him and hits him with a chair before tying him to the bottom rope with a ziptie and asking Alexander why he would ever trust him. He teases hitting Alexander with the chair again, he grabs Alexander's wife and tells him to hand him the World Championship or else his wife is meeting the concrete. Alexander hands the World Championship, and Bully Ray raises the world title before letting Alexander's wife go. He then grabs the metal chair again before threatening to hit his wife if he moves. Bully Ray then walks away with the World title to end the show.
