Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for May 4, 2019

"The Darewolf" PJ Black beats Eli Isom.

Before the next match, Ray Lyn tells Kelly Klein that she does not like or respect her, and that she will not shake her hand.

Kelly Klein beats Ray Lyn. After the match, Klein tells Ray Lyn she will respect her, and both women shake hands. She also says that she would be a fighting champion and represent what the Women of Honor World Championship stands for when she gets in the ring. She calls her recent title win the greatest moment of her career, then somebody wanted to take it from her to get attention, saying that somebody cares about social media and looks while she cares about wrestling, which is what Women of Honor is all about. Suddenly, Velvet Sky and "The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon show up on the stage, and Angelina Love sneaks up on Kenny Klein to lay her out with a running kick. Jenny Rose runs in, but she is easily overpowered, and Velvet Sky takes a marker to Jenny's forehead.

Dalton Castle shows up. He says that he owes a lot of people an explanation, and two people more than anything. He asks for The Boys to come to the ring, and The Boys show up. Castle asks them to enter the ring as he just wants to make things right, and that what happened at G1 Supercard. When he moves towards The Boys, The Boys move away, and Castle tells them that he was frustrated following his loss to Rush and that he should never have taken his frustration out on them. He tells them that he does not want to throw their friendship away over a mistake, and asks that they move past this and shoot forward like they always have. The Boys accept Castle's apology, and Castle tells the fans that what they are looking at is stronger than ever and that the fans will not see him put his hands on The Boys again, for they are no boys of his. He then attacks The Boys again before taking their masks.

LifeBlood (Mark Haskins and "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) beat The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia and TK O'Ryan) with the Sharpshooter to TK O'Ryan. After the match, Williams declares that Bully Ray has been nothing but a cancer in ROH and that cutting him out completely is the only way to get rid of him. Williams calls out Bully Ray, and Bully Ray eventually shows up and tells them to go to Hell.

Backstage, Ty Matthews says that Ray Rosas and Jordan Clearwater are undoing everything Hyperoptimism has worked for, and he and Dicky Meyer are not willing to go back to the drawing board. His hand is now forced, and everything that is going to happen will by Rosas and Clearwater's fault.

Ty Matthews beats Ray Rosas after Dicky Mayer attacks Jordan Clearwater on the outside. Rosas fights Mayer, but Mayer hits Rosas with a boot as Rosas goes for a plancha while the referee checks on Matthews. When Mayer sends Rosas back in the ring, Matthews hits Rosas with a Spear for the win.

The Soul Burners (Ryan Taylor and Thomaste) beat Adriel Noctis and Sketch. After the match, Ryan Taylor says that a wolf in sheep's clothing is a wolf, and that he and Tomaste can see the forest for the trees. Tomaste say that they are coming for The Rocknes Monsters (Yuma and BHK) and the UWN tag team titles.

"Uptown" Andy Brown retains the CWFH Heritage Championship against Brandon Cutler.

The show ends with Maria Starr having drank her entire margarita from the Kooky De Mayo announcement earlier in the show long before Dustin Starr can.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 3, 2019

Michael Elgin shows up to start tonight's show. He says it has a time-honored tradition for a new champion to come out and celebrate, then says that "The Machine" Brian Cage is nowhere to be found after what he did to him at Rebellion. Elgin proclaims that he wanted to put Cage in the hospital, and calls it an embarrassment that people cheered Cage over him and that "we Canadians should stick together." He then tells Cage that he left Japan to become Impact World Champion, and that after Rebellion, he is the only person worth a chance at the title. Suddenly, Johnny Impact shows up. Johnny calls the whole situation "deja vu," as dealing with Elgin is not much different from dealing with Cage, and after both men take potshots at each other, Johnny says he sent Cage to the hospital, not Elgin. Elgin tells Johnny that Cage was still standing and it took an Elgin bomb to send him to the hospital, then Johnny states that he is entitled to his World title rematch. Suddenly, Konnan shows up and says that now that The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) and The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) are family again, he can state that Pentagon Jr. is not only deserving of a World title shot, but at the front of the line. Johnny says that he has won rounds of Mario Kart that are shorter than Pentagon Jr.'s title reign, and Elgin puts his hands on Konnan to send a message to Pentagon Jr., and Pentagon Jr. runs in and fights Elgin until security steps in. Johnny gets a cheap shot on Elgin before almost leaving, Elgin makes a point by overpowering seven members of security when Johnny tries to fight Elgin again.

It is announced that "The Machine" Brian Cage has suffered a back injury during Rebellion.

Ace Austin beats "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams.

Backstage, Rosemary says that with The Undead Maid of Honor taken, it is time to take Kiera Hogan out.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that his feud with Rich Swann has run its course and that having oVe banned from ringside at Rebellion took him out of his element, and says that if Swann does not want to re-join the family, then the two of them can have a 4-on-4 oVe Rules match next week.

Rosemary beats Kiera Hogan by disqualification after Su Yung and her undead bridesmaids attack Rosemary. After the match, Su Yung and the undead bridesmaids attack Rosemary, and Kiera Hogan teases gettting in the ring before deciding not to make the save for Rosemary, whom Su Yung lays out with the Panic Switch. The Undead Maid of Honor leaves with Su Yung and the undead bridesmaids.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Taya Valkyrie, who says that she has beaten every single woman Impact has put in front of her. Madison Rayne shows up and tells Taya she has beaten her twice and that she should have a title shot. Taya tells Madison Rayne that she will get a match against her, but it will not be the match that she wants.

The Impact Plus Flashback of the week is Rob Van Dam vs. Rhino in a First Blood Match at Final Resolution 2010.

Backstage, Taya Valkyrie comes out of a meeting with management and says she does not have to defend the Knockouts title for 30 days, and if Madison Rayne wants a match with her, she can have it next week, but it will not be for the title.

Konnan meets with Santana and Ortiz and tells them that there will be more gold in the family, and that the tag team gold will be defended at Code Red before they take on The North (Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). After Ortiz mentions that they have more pressing matters with The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz), but Konnan tells them to focus on Sunday.

Fenix beats Eddie Edwards after Killer Kross - who has been watching the match from the ramp - grabs Kenny the Kendo stick to hand Kenny to Eddie only to not let go, allowing Fenix to get the win. After the match, Killer Kross leaves with Kenny.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer meets with Rich Swann and tells him he has his back. Swann says they need just one person as Willie Mack will have their back, then "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux shows up. Swann is concerned about Scarlett being part of the team, but Scarlett proposes that Fallah Bahh be part of the team. Swann and Dreamer love the idea.

Rob Van Dam shows up. He says he is here because of who he is, even though the talent in the back is amazing and that there potential classic matches, because his influence is felt by a lot of wrestlers in Impact. He says that the guys in the back are in a competitive state of mind, and he is ready to show them the difference between imitating what they've seen him do and what he himself can do. Suddenly, Ethan Page shows up. Page has two steel chairs in his hands, and says he has a way of using steel chairs that RVD has never thought of before. He then sits in one, then says he is here to welcome him as a friend before asking RVD to sit with him in the other. Page tells RVD he is no hero to him and that he has not looked up to him even once, and says he would never have done of his signature moves. RVD picks his chair up, and says that if he wants a match, they can do it right now. Page tells RVD to "take [his] medicine and calm down" so they can do it next week. RVD throws his chair to Ethan, then kicks the chair into Page's face.

Backstage, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander chews out Ethan Page for picking a fight with Rob Van Dam when they have a tag team title match on the same night. Moose shows up and says that he will help out with both Rob Van Dam and The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) before he flies the two of them to the real Los Angeles.

We hear from Gail Kim, who is both relieved and saddened that her career came full circle at Rebellion. She says that Tessa Blanchard is the future and that she is glad that Tessa had her moment with her. Gail says she is satisfied with her career and how it ended.

In backstage footage from Rebellion, Tully Blanchard congratulates Tessa Blanchard and says that this is the first of many winning moments for her. Tully then tells an interview that watching one's offspring blossom and get a win on a veteran like Gail Kim, he cannot help but get flashbacks from his own careers and the respect that he earned. He also says that Gail and Tessa have respect for each other much like he did with the men he wrestled with back in the day.

In footage from earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center, Bianca Belair tells Mia Yim to keep her name out of her mouth, and after a brief argument, Bianca walks away. Bianca Belair and Mia Yim are set to square off next week.

Dominik Dijakovic beats Mansoor. After the match, Velveteen Dream shows up on a coach pushed onto the stage by two women. With the snap of his fingers, Velveteen Dream stops his entrance theme and mocks Dijakovic as well as his most recently defeated opponents to the tune of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Kyle O'Reilly says Johnny Gargano is the luckiest man on Earth, but the rest of The Undisputed Era says that Gargano is on borrowed time and that next week is about Matt Riddle. Adam Cole says that they are focused on the future and stronger than ever, but when Cole says that Roderick Strong dropped the ball last week, Strong takes offense and leaves. Bobby Fish says Cole's timing was off and that he will talk to Strong.

KUSHIDA beats Kassius Ohno with the Hoverboard Lock in his NXT debut.

We hear from Nina Samuels, who announces that "The Nina Samuels Show" is ready for a revival at NXT UK following a string of victories, and that she looks to becoming NXT UK Women's Champion. She admits that Toni Storm is a good champion, but she is not a leading lady, and "The Nina Samuels Show" is about to begin.

Piper Niven beats Reina Gonzalez.

In footage from earlier today, "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams says that he and Amir Jordan had doubters and even doubted themselves at time, and that Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) are their biggest doubters of all, even as they fail to know anything about them when they have traveled the same roads that they have. Amir Jordan says that Grizzled Young Veterans showed what they think of them, but two weeks ago, they were carted out of the ring and saw what they were capable of. Williams says it is time to get a tag team title match.

We hear from Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang), who say that they have traveled all over the world and know they are back home when they see the River Clyde. It may be ugly, but they like ugly, and now it is time for the opposition to fight them on their turf. Next week, everyone will find out that Glasgow, Scotland is their city and their kingdom.

As per General Manager Johnny Saint, Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) will be defending the NXT UK Tag Team Championships against "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan.

Walter beats Jordan Devlin. After the match, Pete Dunne shows up and demands that Walter give him his rematch. Walter nods his head and tells him he's got it.
