We hear from Orange Cassidy, who says that he will not stop and will keep defending the AEW Intercontinental Championship, even after having some of the craziest matches he has ever been in, and if he survives Penta el Zero Miedo tonight, he will defend against Jon Moxley. He tells Jon Moxley is not the same person he was four years ago and that he will show him why.

We hear from The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) in backstage footage from All In. Chris Jericho heads to the ring. Jericho says everyone should be a little more festive after All In, and while it is a weekend he will not forget, he wishes he could forget how he treated Sammy Guevara and asks Sammy to head to the ring so he can speak with him. Sammy Guevara shows up, and Jericho says he is not happy with how he treated him after losing to Will Ospreay, saying that he was frustrated even after everything Sammy did to help him win and thinking he did not do all he could and pushing him like he did. Sammy and Jericho shake hands, and Sammy says this will not break them up. Jericho then thinks about what he could have done to make it better, and mentions that Sammy could have hit Ospreay harder with the bat. Sammy says that if Jericho hit him harder with the Judas Effect, he could have gotten the job done. Sammy says that if Jericho hit him harder with the Judas Effect, he could have gotten the job done. Jericho says the match did not quite go how it envisioned, but Sammy says that if he was not so worried about having his back, maybe he could have wrestled at All In. Jericho says that if Sammy listened to his advice, maybe he will do it next year. This leads to Jericho and Sammy arguing over following each other's advice, saying that Sammy could have won the AEW World Championship. Sammy mentions Jericho winning the title and losing it in a steak house. Sammy mentions Jericho winning the title and losing it in a steak house. Jericho tells Sammy that they should slow it down and not say something they will regret, as they have been on Dynamite since the first episode, and that they should be together again. Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Sammy Guevara. Don Callis suddenly shows up and asks Sammy if he finds it challenging to deal with "a psychopath" like Jericho before congratulating him on the new baby. Sammy tells him to stop talking and get lost.

Adam Cole heads to the ring. Adam Cole thanks the fans for making All In the most special night of his entire life, and while he lost in the main event for the AEW Championship and it hurt, he knows he will get another shot at the title. As for MJF, he admits MJF is not in great shape and that his neck is banged up, but MJF will soon be ready to go. Suddenly, Roderick Strong shows up with The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Roderick confronts Cole for caring more about MJF's neck than his, but Cole says this is getting ridiculously absurd. Mike Bennett reminds Adam Cole about how they got each other jobs in Ring of Honor and felt like they were friends for life and picked each other up during their worst moments and celebrated each other during their best. He then accuses Cole of listening to the fans too much and not giving him and Taven enough attention, and Taven says that Cole needed them to take over Ring of Honor and then jumped ship to Bullet Club for merchandise money as soon as he took over. Taven also says Adam Cole went to NXT with "their friends" to hold on the NXT Championship for as long as he did before going to AEW and latching on to MJF to reach superstardom before accusing Cole of only caring about himself. Cole says they know for a fact is not true, and if he made them feel that way, he is sorry. He says that people people need to understand each other and that MJF is not only his friend, but his best friends. Roderick promises to enter the Grand Slam Eliminator Championship Tournament, win it and beat MJF for the AEW World Championship with The Kingdom by his side. Billy Gunn declares that he is back and talks about how The Acclaimed became World Trios Champions, and Max Caster says that it was fitting that they came back to the Chicago crowd that lifted them up a year ago and brought them to the next level. He promises that The Acclaimed will lift the Trios titles with pride, then gives the fans a ribbon cutting ceremony. Daddy Ass produces a pair of big scissors, then cuts the ribbon. Bowens states that there is a new era in the Trios Division with Billy Gunn at the helm as he welcomes everyone to "The House of Ass," then reveals new World Trios Championship belts with pink leather straps with scissors at the ends, which will be defended this week on Collision.

After the match, Orange Cassidy says he is tired and his body hurts, and every time he defends his title, his backpack gets a little bit heaver, yet he is here and he is wrestling and defending the title because it means everything to him. He says this is what AEW is, as it is taking a person who was told they would never make it and making them champion, and that he will continue to defend his championship for as long as he wants and there is nothing anyone can do to take it. He tells Jon Moxley to bring more than just a fork, for he will always be International Champion, as he is Orange Cassidy and he does not have a catchphrase. Jon Moxley then shows up and has a staredown with Orange Cassidy that soon gets physical.
