Fyter Fest - Collision recap for August 26, 2023

Jack Perry makes his way to the ring to start tonight's show, and before he heads to the ring, he has a few backstage workers carry the FTW Championship out ceremoniously before he places it on a table in the ring. Perry says that as the greatest FTW Champion who ever lived, he felt he had the responsibility to say a few nice words about the title, saying it was a good title with its ups and downs that was misunderstood at times, and yet it has grown near and dear to his heart, for when people look up the FTW Championship in 100 years, they will find his face next to it. He says that instead of being sad that it is over, everyone should remember the good times, then plays a slideshow of himself with the FTW Championship and nothing else. As he pretends to cry with an orange handkerchief, Perry says the FTW Championship will leave a beautiful legacy behind thanks to him and that it is finally time to send the title to a better place. Jack Perry then pulls out a sledgehammer from underneath the table, and as he is about to swing, the lights go out and we see a video of Hook doing pull-ups on city crossing lights. Hook says Perry cannot destroy the championship because he is the championship and the championship is his bloodline. He then says that he will come back for what is his. The lights come back on, and Hook is behind Perry. Hook throws Perry around the ring before suplexing him into the table. He then lays the FTW title on top of Perry before simply stating "Wembley, Sunday."

Orange Cassidy, Penta el Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston beat The Butcher, The Blade and Kip Sabian in a trios match. After the match, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) show up. Taylor calls out The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley) and Proud and Powerful (Santana and Ortiz), and Trent mentions The Blackpool Combat Club destroying his mother Sue's minivan and disrespecting Sue before stating that they are not coming to Stadium Stampede to hurt them and do it for Sue, not to hug or have fun. Eddie is about to take the microphone, but Orange Cassidy takes it away from him and is about to speak when The Blackpool Combat Club and Proud and Powerful. Moxley tells Eddie to think through his anger for a second and tells him that he made the challenge and allowed them to pick any partners that they want, and that he should not be surprised that they picked Proud and Powerful. Santana says the last year has been full of pain, struggle and torture and realizing who is real and who is not and it will all culminate at All In as Eddie Kingston heads to the back before Claudio Castagnoli says that none of them are Eddie's friends anymore and that Eddie blames everyone but himself for it and fails to take responsibility. Ortiz says one reaps what one sows (as if to quote Eddie saying "All I do is reap"), then Eddie Kingston is seen backstage only to be unable to find them, even after he grabs a member of the film crew and demanding to know where they are. Eddie says he is not surprised that Proud and Powerful turned of him and that he will still gut them up and watch them die in the Stadium Stampede match, then tells Jon Moxley to get out of his way because he knows he has a family and he does not want to hurt him. He then says he will bury Wheeler Yuta before leaving Claudio for last and making sure he is scarred forever.

The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) beats Darius Martin and Action Andretti.

In backstage footage from Dynamite, Lexy Nair interviews Darby Allin and Nick Wayne. AR Fox shows up and apologizes to Nick Wayne, saying it took him 16 years to get here and that he thought everyone lost faith in him when he lost to Orange Cassidy and he panicked. He says he cannot give him his father back, but he can give him his word. Nick walks away, but Darby Allin forgives Fox.

We see a new music video from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn).

We see a video package for the women's four-way match for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In.

Big Bill beats Vary Morales. After the match, "Absolute" Ricky Starks congratulates Vary Morales on his effort, saying he reminds him of a young Ricky Steamboat, then whips him to show what he did to Steamboat. He then says that next week, he will have a bigger strap, then starts whipping Morales again until referees rush in to tell him to stop.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Ruby Soho, who challenges Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship at All Out, and says she will beat her once and for all, because she may be more than a woman, she is less than an Outcast.

Willow Nightingale beats Robyn Renegade.

We see a video package of AEW's media appearance in the UK for All In.

We see a video package chronicling the events between Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander, who says she is sick of The Outcasts taking advantage of people and playing games like a bunch of children, and says that if Ruby Soho wants to act like a child, then "momma's gonna treat [her] like one." She says that she is tired of people thinking they can walk all over each other, and if anyone wants to call her out, she will take them out.

"Limitless" Keith Lee beats "Outlandish" Zicky Dice.

We see footage of Dralistico and Preston Vance being beaten up by masked men clad in all black before they eventually fight back against their attackers. Someone then shows up clapping.

Samoa Joe heads to the ring. He says he is amazed how little the powers that be think of him, as he has been told that if he interferes in tonight's main event, he would jeopardize his newly won opportunity at All In. He then says he is proactive and will be on commentary so that everyone can keep his eyes on him, and says he will remain a professional, for he is a man who is professional and he got the match that he wanted from CM Punk, and at All In, he will hand CM Punk the ass whipping he definitely needs. Samoa Joe then guests on commentary for the next match.

Hook, Darby Allin, Sting and CM Punk beat "Switchblade" Jay White, Luchasaurus and The Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland and "The Machine" Brian Cage) in an All In All-Star 8-Man Tag Match following a rear naked choke from CM Punk to Brian Cage. After the match, Samoa Joe attacks CM Punk, and Jack Perry runs in to attack Hook, leading to a brawl all around the ring in which Samoa Joe smacks CM Punk in the face with the Real World Championship and Jack Perry trying to suplex Hook in the stands.
