The team of Road Warrior Animal and Booker T and the team of Road Warrior Hawk and Lex Luger wrestle to a double count-out in the first round of Lethal Lottery '96 after everybody beats each other up outside of the ring. Animal and Hawk, who never squared off against each other, give each other a double high-five after the match.
Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock" beat Chris Benoit and The Taskmaster to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96 after Public Enemy double-team Benoit through a table and Taskmaster tweaks his knee, causing him to hobble to the back with help from Jimmy Hart.
Rick Steiner and The Booty Man beat Scott Steiner and Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96. Unlike The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk), Rick and Scott Steiner briefly square off against each other.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and V.K. Wallstreet beat The Blue Bloods ("Lord" Steven Regal and "Squire" David Taylor) to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96.
"Dirty" Dick Slater and "Earl" Robert Eaton beat "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright and Disco Inferno to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96 after Slater takes off one of his boots and hits Disco Inferno in the back with it behind the referee's back while Disco Inferno is dancing.
Diamond Dallas Page and The Barbarian beat Hugh Morrus and Meng to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96, even though Meng has DDP pinned at the same time The Barbarian has Hugh Morrus pinned. The referee awards the match to DDP and Barbarian, not having seen Meng's pinfall attempt.
Fire and Ice (Scott "Flash" Norton and Ice Train) beat Big Bubba and Stevie Ray to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair fails to show up before the next match. After "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up, Flair shows up without Miss Elizabeth and Woman, and attacks Savage while Eddie Guerrero argues with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Woman and Miss Elizabeth show up not long after.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage beat "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and Eddie Guerrero to continue to the second round of Lethal Lottery '96 after Anderson and Flair attack Savage throughout the match and Anderson puts Guerrero out with a DDT as Savage attacks Flair. After the match, Anderson and Flair have Miss Elizabeth slap Savage in the face.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund announces that the team of Fire and Ice (Scott "Flash" Norton and Ice Train) will receive a bye in the second round and proceed directly to Battlebowl. Also, "Dirty" Dick Slater and "Earl" Robert Eaton will take on "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and V.K. Wallstreet in the first match of the second round.
Dean Malenko retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Brad Armstrong.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund announces Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock") will take on "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the second round of Lethal Lottery '96. Also in the second round, Diamond Dallas Page and The Barbarian will take on The Booty Man and Rick Steiner.
"Dirty" Dick Slater and "arl" Robert aton beat "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and V.K. Wallstreet to continue to Battlebowl after Wallstreet punches Hacksaw in the face twice on purpose, causing Hacksaw to punch Wallstreet back and allow Eaton to pin Wallstreet with a schoolboy pin.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage goes after "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair before the next match as Miss Elizabeth tosses Savage's money into the front row of the audience. Security, officials, police officers and other wrestlers from the back all quickly get into position to keep Savage away from Flair. As a result, Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco ock) continue to Battlebowl by default.
Diamond Dallas Page and The Barbarian beat Rick Steiner and The Booty Man to continue to Battlebowl.
Mike Tenay replaces Eric Biscoff on commentary for the next match.
Konnan retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Jushin "Thunder" Liger.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who is accompanied by Woman, Miss Elizabeth and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Flair says "the nut" "Macho Man" Randy Savage is in jail right now and is being medically evaluated tomorrow. The four of them will be at the top of the Raddison Hotel tonight with double security, but he has one other order of business: Steve "Mongo" McMichael, whose wife Flair says he can't get out of his back pocket. Mongo shows up and confronts Flair, telling him he can cash a few checks on him just like Flair has done to him. Flair tells Mongo he's made a mistake tangling with him, and says that he has "The Enforcer" with him now, unlike last week. Flair challenges him to bring anybody he wants to a match against himself and Anderson. Mongo has that base covered: Kevin Greene, now of the Carolina Panthers, who wants to go right now, forcing Flair and company to flee as security keep the two sides apart. Mongo says that Kevin Greene is just part of his plan, and Greene tells Flair that he and Mongo are ready to go anytime, and tells Flair to bring his mouthpiece as it will be an all-day affair.
Diamond Dallas Page beats "Flyboy" Rocco Rock, "Earl" Robert Eaton, "Dirty" Dick Slater, Scott "Flash" Norton", Johnny Grunge, Ice Train and The Barbarian to win Battlebowl, become Lord of the Ring and earn a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Even though he was the first eliminated, the ref did not see the elimination and therefore it did not count. When Eaton is eliminated, he attacks Col. Robert Parker, and Slater fights Eaton after he is eliminated soon after.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Giant and Jimmy Hart. Jimmy Hart is isn't too late for him and Lex Luger to not be handcuffed together. The Giant says Sting has been on top of the mountain, but he's not on top right now. He says Sting can try to take the title from him, but it's just not going to happen and he's going to eliminate both Sting and Luger. He then tells Diamond Dallas Page to think about what happened tonight and what's going to happen to him.
The Giant retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting after Sting inadvertently knocks out the ref with a back elbow from the apron and Jimmy Hart manages to hit Sting ibetween the eyes with his megaphone despite being handcuffed to Lex Luger.
