Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for May 15, 2000

Sting beats Vampiro in a House Of Pain Match. After shackling Vampiro, Sting attacks Vampiro a few more times before leaving the cage. The lights go out around the ring, and when they come back on, Vampiro has disappeared.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas attacks Bryan Clark near a production truck outside of the arena. The Goldberg monster truck is seen in the distance.

Backstage, Captain Rection talks with the rest of Misfits In Action (Van Hammer, Lash Leroux, Chavo Guerrero Jr.), saying that Eric Bischoff tried to degrade and fire them, and if Bischoff wants a war face, he will get one. After a showing of war faces, Van Hammer, Leroux and Chavo are renamed Major Stash, Corporal Cajun and Lieutenant Loco respectively, then introduced to Major Gunns before going to war.

Kronik (Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark) show up, and Adams calls out "The Franchise" Shane Douglas for attacking Bryan Clark, saying it did not work and that it made Clark angry. He tells Douglas to either face the music like a man or they will tear the backstage area apart to find him. Douglas shows up and says that if they think he will try to take the tag team titles back without backup, they are stupid, and while they can suspend Buff Bagwell for 30 days for disciplinary action, that will not stop him. He then says that if they look around, they can see hints as to who his new partner - who is part of The New Blood - is, then reveals his new tag team partner: The Wall.

Kronik (Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against "The Franchise" Shane Douglas and The Wall after Shane Douglas runs away very early in the match, making the match a 2-on-1 handicap match where Kronik overpowers The Wall. After the match, The Wall has to be taken out on a stretcher, but when the paramedics try to help him, The Wall gets to his feet and attacks them, putting one of them through a table in the process.

Backstage, Disco Inferno talks to Eric Bischoff, who just tells him to do whatever he wants if he does not want to be with The Mamalukes (Big Vito and Johnny The Bull) and join The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guerrera). Afterwards, Ernest "The Cat" Miller brings Terry Funk to Bischoff, who tells Funk that he will let him off for last week as he asks him to hand over the WCW Hardcore Championship. Funk says he will not do that as both of them hate each others' guts, and "The Cat" attacks Funk from behind before pummeling him in the corner of the room.

Outside of the arena, "Screamin'" Norman Smiley tells Ralphus he is tired, hungry and in need of a shower. With only some chicken and $1.23 between them, they have no choice but to get jobs. As they head towards the arena, the Goldberg monster truck is seen again.

Before the next match, Konnan tells Terry Funk that he is past his time and tells Rey Mysterio Jr. to find an expiration date on Funk, and says that The Filthy Animals (Rey Mysterio Jr. and Juventud Guerrera) will put him out of his misery as they take the WCW Hardcore Championship from him. When Terry Funk shows, Ernest "The Cat" Miller chokes him with a red sash before bringing him to The Filthy Animals.

Terry Funk retains the WCW Hardcore Championship against The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guerrera). During the match, The Misfits In Action (Captain Rection, Major Stash, Corporal Cajun, Lieutenant Loco) attack The Filthy Animals, then Disco Inferno joins in to even the odds for The Filthy Animals. Booker T then shows up and single-handedly takes down The Filthy Animals before placing Funk on top of Juventud to help him retain the title. After the match, Major Gunns shows up to celebrate, then takes off her shirt and gives Terry Funk mouth-to-mouth.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is seen quickly exiting a white limousine. The Goldberg monster truck is seen yet again.

Backstage, Ralphus and "Screamin'" Norman Smiley talk to a popcorn vendor about working for him. He quickly gives them a shirt and only one chance to do the job right.

Backstage, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair confronts Eric Bischoff, who tells him to take his business up with Vince Russo. After Flair leaves, he tells "The Cat" Ernest Miller to give Vince Russo a heads-up concerning Flair.

Next week's Nitro will air one hour earlier from 7 PM to 9 PM Eastern time due to the NBA playoffs.

Before the next match, Chris Candido says he and Tammy Lynn Sytch are "the first couple of wrestling," and says he is in such a good mood that he will put the WCW Cruiserweight Championship on the line against any other wrestling couple. The challenge is answered by Daffney and Crowbar.

Daffney and Crowbar beat Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch to become the WCW Cruiserweight Champions! During the match, Miss Hancock is seen taking notes on and scouting the match on the ramp, and later in the match, Miss Hancock decides to give Crowbar a show by dancing for him. Despite the distraction, Daffney gets a schoolkid pin on Sunny to win the Cruiserweight Championship. After the match, Daffney and Crowbar argue over who should win the title, then "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair stomps his way to the ring and attacks Crowbar, causing Daffney to retreat. Flair then takes a microphone and calls Vince Russo out. In the production truck, Russo tells a producer to play the video tape when he says so.

After the commercial break, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair continues to call out Vince Russo. The show then cuts to outside of the arena, where Sting is seen in the parking lot noticing that his car is on fire, before returning to the ring, where Flair continues to call out Russo. We then see footage of Vince Russo coming out of a white Corvette with David Flair and Daffney in tow as they approach the Flair estate as part of an "exposé." They enter the house where Vince Russo demonizes David's stepmother, his step-sister Ashley (the future multiple-time WWE women's champion Charlotte Flair) and his younger brother Reid - who is called "Champ" - and it is mentioned that David could never live up to Reid's expectation. The tape then cuts to Ric Flair's bedroom, where Russo and Daffney mess up the bed before Russo and David show off the private swimming pool. David then mentions that there is a creek that can barely be seen off to the side, which he says has been the only place he has been allowed for years. The tape cuts again, this time to Ric Flair's closet, where the threesome rummage through Flair's wardrobe before heading to Reid's bedroom and look through all of the trophies Reid has. They then go to Reid's bedroom, which is an unfinished basement with a blanket and a pillow on the floor. After Russo tells the viewers to hug their children and tell them they love them, they try to leave only to come into contact with the rest of Ric Flair's family, where David reveals what he, Russo and Daffney are doing here before being told to get out before the police are called. David Flair then shows up with Daffney, who now has the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship with her, and David tells Ric that "his father" Russo is busy backstage and that he can say whatever he wants to say to Russo to his face. Ric tells David to come to the ring so he can tell him, and tells him they are the biggest steps he will ever take in his life and to make them good, because tonight, he will grow up. Ric says he won an opportunity to face Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and he is claiming that opportunity tonight so that David can walk out of the building, go back to the hotel room and look in the mirror to see what an asshole he has made himself into. Ric tells David that people would try to manipulate them when he entered this business, and tells David Flair to wrestle Ric Flair the wrestler, not his father, at The Great American Bash. David tells Ric to be ready to wrestle his son that he abandoned for so many years at The Great American Bash. Ric says he loves getting ready, and while he did not want this moment to happen, David kept pushing for it to happen. David says he is ready to kick Ric's ass at The Great American Bash, and Ric tells him to get up and do it if he says he is ready, for nothing he will ever do in life will get him higher than wrestling Ric Flair. Ric tells David he has embarrassed him and his family, and if he were to lose to David, he will retire from the business for the rest of his life. All of a sudden, Jeff Jarrett shows up and hits Ric Flair in the head with a guitar, then David punches Ric in the face as Jarrett puts Ric in the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Backstage, Vince Russo tells "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to enjoy the guitar shot to the head, then tells someone to fix the House of Pain cage through the headset before forcing Miss Elizabeth out of the room.

Vince Russo shows up with Miss Elizabeth. Russo tells Miss Elizabeth that he is from New York, and that there is always a plan. He tells Elizabeth that she has been embarrassing him, but tonight, she will learn all about "tough love" when she competes in the House Of Pain. He then mentions Miss Elizabeth hitting Madusa with a steel chair when she wasn't looking, and states that Madusa will be Miss Elizabeth's opponent tonight. After Madusa shows up, Russo states that R&B Security is stationed all around the ring, and that "The Main Event" Chuck Palumbo is guarding the door. The bell rings, then Madusa and Russo corner Elizabeth and degrade, daring Elizabeth to slap Russo in the mouth as Russo sates that The Total Package won't be able to save him now. Suddenly, the ring technician drops down into the ring and reveals he is The Total Package. Madus is quickly put in the Torture Rack, but Russo hits The Total Package with a low blow, forcing him to drop Madusa. The low blow has no effect, as The Total Package reveals he is wearing a cup. Elizabeth kicks Russo in the groin, then puts The Total Package's cup on Russo's mouth. R&B security finally get the door open, and The Total Package levels them one by one until he is maced. This allows R&B Security and Chuck Palumbo to attack The Total Package, with Palumbo attacking The Total Package with a chest flexer. Miss Elizabath can only stand back and watch as Palumbo chokes The Total Package with the chest flexer, then Kevin Nash shows up and overpowers R&B Security while Miss Elizabeth, Vince Russo and Chuck Palumbo escape, with R&B Security running away from Nash soon afterwards. Nash then grabs Madusa, but Mike Awesome shows up and attacks Nash from behind, allowing Madusa to escape. Nash then takes a microphone and tells Mike Awesome that he has messed with him for the last time, and if he wants to enter the ring under his own free will, then he will be leaving on a stretcher in an ambulance. Nash challenges Awesome to an Ambulance Match tonight, and Awesome says he will put him in the ambulance and end his career.

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund is waiting for Scott Steiner when Steiner shows up and tells Vince Russo that he is not wrestling tonight and he will be waiting for his brother Rick Steiner and Tank Abbott in the parking lot, for there are too many rules in wrestling.

"Screamin'" Norman Smiley and Norman are seen selling popcorn to the crowd. Meanwhile, it is announced that the newest issue of WCW Magazine, which documents Goldberg's arm injury from months ago, is now available.

Backstage, Rick Steiner and Tank Abbott have a street fight with Scott Steiner. Two of Scott's women attack Rick from behind with a 2x4, and while Scott has the upper hand against Tank initially, Tank and Rick eventually outnumber Scott. Suddenly, the Goldberg monster truck is seen driving around in the parking lot while crushing cars. Meanwhile, Kevin Nash is seen backing an ambulance up.

Kevin Nash is seen backing an ambulance up next to the stage before the next match.

Kevin Nash beats Mike Awesome in an Ambulance Match by referee stoppage after Diamond Dallas Page shows up, hits Awesome with a Diamond Cutter on the stage and helps Nash put Awesome through a table. Backstage, Eric Bischoff - who has been watching the match on a backstage monitor - says that if you want something done right, you have got to do it yourself.

Hulk Hogan is seen heading to the arena.

Backstage, Ralphus and "Screamin'" Norman Smiley are fired as popcorn vendors after Ralphus puts his own hand down his pants before putting more popcorn in bags.

Eric Bischoff, Kimberly and Ernest "The Cat" Miller show up. Bischoff says there is a time that every man realizes that if you want something done right, you have got to do it yourself. After telling Diamond Dallas Page that he does not get what DDP does not get, he says that he is bored with DDP and calls him out, saying that he wants to kick his teeth in all by himself. He also tells DDP to bring some back-up, because he is going to need it. DDP shows up and says that while some circles consider The Cat "a mean sumbitch," he thinks he is a pussy, and tells him to back up before he'll have to "call his mama." As for Bischoff, he tells him he does not need to call anybody, then punches him before also fending The Cat off. Kimberly grabs a steel chair and decks DDP with it, allowing The Cat to kick DDP in the face. Suddenly, Sid Vicious shows up for the first time since going down with a shoulder injury and makes himself DDP's tag team partner. DDP tags him in, but Sid choke slams him in the center of the ring before shaking hands with Bischoff, cementing Sid as a member of The New Blood. Hulk Hogan then shows up and fights off Sid and The Cat, forcing them to retreat before helping DDP up, and Bischoff tells Hogan that if he wants to play in his house, then he will play it his way if he gets rid of Diamond Dallas Page.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff tells Horace Hogan not to drop the ball tonight and to trust him despite what his uncle Hulk Hogan has been telling him. They and Kidman show up on the stage, and Bischoff tell Hulk Hogan that Horace will kick his ass "all over the stinkin' stage" because he is a member of The New Blood. Eric Bischoff then guests on commentary for the next match.

Horace Hogan beats Hulk Hogan and Kidman in a three-way match. During the match, Horace Hogan refuses to help Hulk Hogan out until Kidman hits Hogan with a low blow in the ring, and when Eric Bischoff gets on the ring apron, Horace knocks him off. The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guerrera, Disco Inferno) run to the ring, but Hogan fends them all off with help from Horace, who whacks all of them with steel chairs along with Hulk Hogan. Suddenly, Torrie Wilson shows up, and after Horace nods at Torrie, he whacks Hulk Hogan in the back with a steel chair and pins him to get the win. Afterwards, Bischoff places a New Blood jacket around Horace, cementing him as a member of the group.

Backstage, Kidman confronts Horace Hogan for leaving with Torrie Wilson in a white limousine, and Eric Bischoff holds Kidman back, telling him it is no big deal.

Vince Russo - wearing one of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's robes - shows up along with David Flair and Daffney for the next match. Russo and David Flair then guest on commentary

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats Jeff Jarrett with an inside cradle to become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! After the match, Jeff Jarrett smashes a guitar into the head of referee Charles Robinson, then David Flair smashes a Statue of Liberty statuette into Ric Flair's head, then Vince Russo walks up the stage with the World Heavyweight Championship. Suddenly, Kevin Nash shows up and grabs Russo by the neck, grabs the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and hits Jarrett in the face with it before nearly putting Jarrett through the ring with a Jackknife Powerbomb. Nash then hands the World title to Ric Flair and raises his hand.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff is on the phone, saying he and Vince Russo will be on a jet first thing in the morning. he then turns to "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, tells him that Kevin Nash is a problem that they can fix and that he will be running Thunder while he and Russo have to be on a plane at noon.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for April 17, 2000

WCW security is seen securing the arena to keep The Millionaire's Club out.

Pamphlets are seen falling from the sky. Police in riot gear head towards the ring before Vince Russo approaches the ring with Buff Bagwell, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, "Hard Knox" Chris Candido, Tammy Lynn Sytch and Scott Steiner approach the ring. Red confetti and balloons then fall from the ceiling of the arena, and Vince Russo raises a baseball bat. Russo says the fans can boo all they want, as it does not change the fact that he is better than they are. He says that this is what you can call "a New York party," as The New Blood came into their own just like he said they would. Russo then brags about all of the new championship winners in The New Blood, then mentions that there was one title that got away from them, and that will all change tonight, as Terry Funk is neither part of The New Blood or The Millionaire's Club; instead, he is "too damn old." He then says that in the WWF, they was a crotchety old man who used to wear a cowboy hat (a reference to Jim Ross) who did everything he could to keep his next guest down. He tells Jim Ross to kiss his ass, then brings out the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett shows up, then tells the fans to never, ever doubt him again as he said it, he did it and the fans are all eating it. Jarrett says that aside from the day his child was born, this is the greatest day of his life, and Jim Ross can kiss his ass. That brings him to Diamond Dallas Page, who he has a proposition for: since The New Blood is about opportunity, he will give him one. Since he was not asked to be in Ready To Rumble, he wants to use the three-tier cage from the movie at Slamboree so he can slap his nuts from the bottom to the top, where the World title will be hanging. All Diamond Dallas Page has to do in their match for the World title is to climb up to the top of the three-tier cage and grab it. Russo then introduces another guest, whom he says may have grabbed the biggest title of all last night: Eric Bischoff. Bischoff shows up with Kimberly, DDP's wife, and says he had so much fun last night seeing Jarrett defeat DDP, as it was beyond all his expectation. He says he told DDP he made him and that he can break him, and he did it in a way that will last for a long time as torturing DDP is nothing but fun for him and that Kimberly is the whip cream on his cake. Kimberly tells DDP that words cannot describe how sorry she is for hitting him with a guitar, as it is a really heavy thing to blow off an 11-year relationship. From day one, however, that relationship has been subjugated to the needs, schedule and opportunities of "D-D-Me." She says she has stood behind DDP and in his shadow all those years, and he made sure that it happened because deep down, DDP really knew that she was the real star. She says she has had opportunity after opportunity in WCW, and she had to say no every single time because DDP said so. She says no more to this, and from last night on, she is going to pay attention to her own needs, schedule and opportunities, and right now, her opportunity is standing right next to her in the form of Eric Bischoff. Bischoff thanks Russo for throwing the party and for supplying security. Outside of the arena, Diamond Dallas Page is stopped by security, but DDP fights them off, gets in the arena and makes his way to the ring. The riot squad allows DDP to get in the ring, but then they attack The New Day blood when they get in. The riot squad is none other than The Total Package, "The Nature Boy" Rick Flair and Sting, who fight The New Blood along with DDP. The New Blood is forced to retreat.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff asks some members of The New Blood where they were when he, Vince Russo and the champions in The New Blood were being attacked. Booker T asks Bischoff what he needs them for, but Bischoff tells him he is getting tired of him, his attitude and his ego. He tells Booker T he has a very short period of time to get on his good side before dismissing everybody and telling them to get it right. Bischoff then tells Russo to get Mike Awesome to beat Diamond Dallas Page up right now. After Russo leaves, four members of security show up and confront Bischoff for telling them that tonight's gig would be easy and not telling them they would be beat up by a bunch of wrestlers. They then tell Bischoff to keep the money, saying they do not need it, and leave. Bischoff then picks up the phone and gets a call from Hulk Hogan, who is now out of jail, telling him he is coming to kick his ass in five minutes.

"The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak - who comes out to a sound-alike of Curt Hennig's WWF theme - beats Curt Hennig. At the beginning of the match, Miss Hancock shows up to get a closer look at the match. Later in the match, Hennig inadvertently hits both Stasiak and referee Charles Robinson with a forearm, and Robinson is out and unable to count the pinfall attempt after the Hennigplex. Stasiak then finishes Hennig off with The Perfect Plant for the win. After the match, Stasiak beings to attack Hennig. Outside of the arena, a police motorcade is seen heading to the arena, and they stop Hulk Hogan from entering the arena. Hogan says he will getin one day or another, but they soon relent after a staredown and they let him in. Hogan makes his way to the ring as Stasiak continues to attack Hennig, and Hogan tosses Stasiak out of the ring before helping Hennig up.

After the commercial break, Hulk Hogan is in the ring alone. He says that over the lat year, he has listened to what the fans and the critics have to say about him. While he and the rest of the guys are getting older, he has only lost half a step, and he still has something to give to the wrestling business as he is here to lead by example. As far as his role as "lead dog" in the business goes, if there is anybody who wants to come out and take his spot, he is ready to kick their ass. He says that you can mess with the gimmick and make him slip on a banana peel for a three count, and you can make a fool out of him, but when Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo pulled what they did at Nitro last week and at Spring Stampede, they are messing with Terry Bollea, and when they decided to take money out of his pocket and food out of his kids' mouths, they went beyond the line, as he has more heart than anybody in the back. As far as he is concerned, if anyone wants his spot, they had better have it in their blood and they had better be a different kind of wrestler, because he is here until somebody kicks his ass and runs him off. Hogan then talks about Kidman, who he has heard whine and cry to Bischoff and Russo and the other promoters about how he wanted the big push and how he would not leave the hotel room until he knew what they would do with him. He says that Kidman makes him sick, and if Kidman wants his spot, all he has to do is come to the ring and try to take it. He says Kidman called him out last week, and this week, he is calling Kidman out. He also hopes that Bischoff and Russo is watching, then tells Kidman he will kick his out again. We then see Kidman on the TitanTron, saying he is ready for him and that he will not come running when he says "run." When the TitanTron is shown on-screen, Kidman is seen wearing a Hulk Hogan T-shirt with the sleeves cut out, a circle with an X in red spray paint over the "Hulkster" logo and "NB" spray painted underneath. He says that if Hogan wants him, he will have to look for him in the back. Hogan says he is on his way and makes his way to the back as Kidman says this will be a fight, not a wrestling match, and that he will kick his ass all over the place. As Kidman tries to egg Hogan on with Torrie Wilson by his side, Eric Bischoff is seen waiting behind them while leaning on a white Hummer.

Hulk Hogan is seen outside of the arena looking for Kidman.

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jeff Jarrett, who demands that he be called "World Champion Jeff Jarrett" as he tells Okerlund to save his questions for somebody who cares. Jarrett says he is seeing The ENw Blood guys crying about opportunity, and says he is all about that. Tonight, he will be hanging up an open contract, and the first person to grab who is not a member of The Millionaire's Club will get a World title shot against him.

Terry Funk retains the WCW Hardcore Championship against The Wall after an unknown peron pushes two tables on top of both of them and Fuk stomps through a table to hit The Wall.

Backstage, Vince Russo is met by Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark, who want a tag team title match. Vince Russo says there is too much gong on tonight for a tag team title match, but Adams tells Russo that he doesn't give a crap about the show or Russo's problems and that they had a deal. They delivered, and demand Russo did the same. Russo admits to promising them a tag tam title shot, but that he did not say it would be tonight and that it will happen when he says so.

The open contract is seen on the dressing room door of Jeff Jarrett. Soemone is seen signing it with a red pen.

After the commercial break, Jeff Jarrett sees the open contract and rips it up, saying Vince Russo is the biggest idiot as he walks into his dressing room.

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. DDP says he wasn't allowed to be in the building, but he has gotten in and now he has a match with Mike Awesome. After last night, he is just a little pissed off about what happened, and although Eric Bischoff may have gotten to Kimberly, it is not over yet, and he tells BIschoff that if he wants to screw with his personal life, he will leave Awesome leaving and tearing him a new ass. He only hopes that Hulk Hogan does not put Bischoff in the hospital before he does, because that is going to be his job.

Bruce McArthur - whose family has owned the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team for decades - and hockey player "Bad" Bob Probert are seen in the front row.

Backstage, Bryan Adams and Bryan Clarke are seen attacking The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris) backstage before the next match, which they insert themselves into. Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark - known by the team name of "Kronik" - then proceed to decimate The Mamalukes (Big Vito and Johnny The Bull) in the ring. Adams tells Vine Russo that this is just a message to him, as they both worked for him before and that he knows he does not want them working against him. He then says all the "WCW badasses" in the locker room have been shaking like a bunch of "sissies at a weenie roast" since Kronik showed up, and if anyone has the horrible luck of having to face them in the ring, they will feel chronic pain, take a chronic beating and live a chronic nightmare. He then says that if Russo continues to drag his feet, he will see what he is talking about.

Vampiro shows up. He has come to send a message to his "brother in paint." He says that Sting knows nothing about pain, and even after what happened last night between them, in which only Sting knows what truly happened when he dragged him underneath the ring, he still knows nothing about pain. Vampiro says that he heard Sting's screams and drew and tasted his blood, and he smelled all of his fear, but that was last night. Tonight is just the beginning, and he has allowed himself just a little taste so he can save the rest. At Slamboree, he will devour Sting and show him what it is like to walk around with his humanity stripped from him just like he does. Suddenly, the lights go out as Vampiro threatens to drag him to Hell and welcome him to his nightmare. Suddenly, Sting rappels down from the top of the arena and attacks a stunned Vampiro with his baseball bat. He pins him to the corner, then says Vampiro looked like somebody just walked over his grave, and says that right now, he feels like "rompin', stompin' graveyard destruction." He then hits Vampiro with the baseball bat multiple times before telling him he learned about pain from the best and that Vampiro is going to grow up quickly. Sting then hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Vampiro, then says WCW runs through his veins and that it is his turf.

Backstage, Hulk Hogan is still looking for Kidman. Meanwhile, Jeff Jarrett is irritated with Vince Russo for proposing the idea of the open contract, and Russo tells Jarrett that he will take care of his opponent.

Mike Awesome beats Diamond Dallas Page by disqualification after Chris Kanyon runs into the ring and brawls with Awesome. After the match, Mike Awesome pulls a table out from underneath the ring after coming out on top in the initial brawl, and almost puts Kanyon through the table before Kevin Nash's entrance hits. Instead of coming out through the back, he comes out through the crowd and over the guardrail, and he puts Mike Awesome through the table with a Jackknife Power Bomb.

Backstage, Vince Russo talks to Jeff Jarrett's open contract opponent.

Tank Abbott is backstage, much to the chagrin of Mark Madden.

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Buff Bagwell and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. Buff says that he is tired of seeing The Millionaire's Club show them up, as they are The New Blood, it is a new day and they are world tag team champions. He tells The Total Package to watch out, because at Slamboree, he's going down in a singles match, too. Douglas says that for seven years, he has dreamed of getting his hands on "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and Flair has accepted his challenge for a match at Slamboree and he cannot wait. He says he should be the happiest man on the face of the planet right now, but he is not as he cannot get over what happened to him at Thunder last week involving The Total Package. He says that Flair is sticking his nose in the match and costing him, and he wants The Total Package tonight. Suddenly, The Total Package shows up with Miss Elizabeth and tells Douglas that if he wants him tonight, he's got him under the condition that if Vince Russo gets involved before the end of the match, the WCW World Tag Team Championships will be forfeited over to Team Package (The Total Package and Ric Flair).

Tank Abbott shows up. He tells Goldberg that this is not his first barbecue, and that he has fought his whole life and has seen this song and dance before. He shows up, someone wants a piece of him, and they get hurt. He then repeats that until Goldberg shows up and takes him on, he will continue to beat up "innocent idiots" who think Goldberg is a hero He then tells Goldberg he will get someone tonight, and it will be on him. After Abbott leaves the ring, he looks around ringside for someone to beat up in the front row. Suddenly, he stops infront of Bruce MacArthur, owner of the Chicago Blackhawks, and gets him in the ring. Bob Probert gets in the ring and saves MacArthur, and after security shows up, Abbott is escorted from the ring as MacArthur is checked on.

Backstage, Hulk Hogan is still looking for Kidman when Terry Taylor tells him he has seen Kidman outside.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is met by Vince Russo, who says that Jarrett's opponent still wants the match. Russo asks Jarrett to give him some time so he can get back to him on how he can get Jarrett out of the match.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas beats The Total Package by disqualification. During the match, Buff Bagwell shows up and grabs The Total Package by the legs, allowing Shane Douglas to hit a low blow. Buff Bagwell then goes Miss Elizabeth while a man in a Sting mask and black wig sitting in the front row hits The Total Package with a baseball bat before doing the same to Shane Douglas. The man then climbs over the guardrail and into the ring before unmasking and revealing himself to be "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. After the match, Vince Russo shows up and gets Shane Douglas out of the ring. Buff Bagwell is then angry at Russo for not showing up sooner, even though that would have cost him and Shane Douglas the WCW World Tag Team Championships.

In the parking garage, Hulk Hogan finds the white Hummer.

Hulk Hogan finally gets his hands on Kidman. Torrie Wilson hits Hulk Hogan with a 2x4, and Kidman tries to take advantage of the distraction only to get laid out by Hulk Hogan again. Meanwhile, Eric Bischoff is seen watching from a distance before Hogan throws Kidman into a dumpster. Hogan then sees Bischoff, who then flees into the white Hummer, which refuses to start. Bischoff then runs up the ramp, and Hogan manages to get the white Hummer started. Hogan then runs the white Hummer into the dumpster a few times in an attempt to crush Kidman before driving up the ramp.

Backstage, Kidman - already placed on a board - is pulled out of the parking lot dumpster by EMTs.

It is revealed that the person who signed the open contract on Jeff Jarrett's locker room door and is taking Jarrett on for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner, who is accompanied to the ring by three women.

Jeff Jarrett retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Scott Steiner by disqualification after Booker T hits Scott Steiner with the Ax Kick as Steiner has Jarrett in the Steiner Recliner. After the match, Booker T grabs Jarrett by the head and says "You're welcome, punk!" before leaving.

Backstage, Hulk Hogan is seen wielding a pipe as he is seen looking for Eric Bischoff.

Hulk Hogan finally find Eric Bischoff in the backstage production office and chases him to the ring. The show end with Hogan kicking Bischoff in the groin. Vince Russo shows up with a baseball bat, but Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up with a steel chair. Bret swings the chair, but the intended target is not made clear as the show fades to black.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for March 27, 2000

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kimberly, who has not been seen in some time, to start tonight's show. DDP admits he has a lot on his plate, and that he may have been ruptured his L4 and L5 discs in his back, but he will be back and he will be jacked. After mentioning that Ready To Rumble will play worldwide April 7th, he threatens to crash DDP's party at Mann's Chinese Theater at the world premiere. DDP tells Jarrett that if he wants to crash the world premiere, he will be seeing stars when he imprints his face on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He asked himself why he should have to enter the main event without a tag team partner, then says he does not have to as anybody in the locker room would be glad to team up with him in the ring. He asks for a tag team partner who will look Sid Vicious eye-to-eye and soften him up, because as Uncensored, he will become WCW World Heavyweight Championship. As for tonight, his partner may not be one of The Harris Boys, but it will be the man that he brings out: The Wall. Hulk then says that the main priority in the Yapapi Indian Strap Match is having flexibility in the wrist that you are strapped to your opponent with, as when one is in the four corners of the battlefield, one must get the other person in the proper position to be whipped with the strap. When he gets Flair where he wants him, he will call to "the strapmaster" Jimmy Hart and ask for Yapapi punishment strap number one. As he straps Flair's body and Flair screams to the heavens for mercy as his flesh bubbles off his body, Flair will drop to his knees and apologize for crossing the line. As he hears Flair begs for mercy, he will call to Jimmy Hart for strap number two, and the heavier straps will come in and Flair's flesh will peel from his hide. Last week, he nearly broke his back, but Funk kept going. He says that this is because Funk is "an idiotic old fart" who cares about what the fans think. He calls the fans ungrateful, and says that the know-it-alls in the crowd make him sick. Since he says it is so hard to satisfy the crowd these days, he has given Terry Funk a chance to satisfy them, and he has brought some barbed wire so he can wrap it around his head and make him bleed. He then says that will not happen because the fans suck. Suddenly, Terry Funk shows up with a bag in his hand, and says he sees a chicken in the ring in the form of Dustin Rhodes. He says that Dustin is "an overbearing, fat, obnoxious egg sucking dog" like his father "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, then tells him he has something for him in the bag: his illegitimate baby brother and "Dusty's bastard child." He then pulls out a raw chicken wearing a diaper and throws it at him, then says that if Dustin wants a barbed wire match tonight, then they can have it if they both strap the barbed wire on. Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for February 21, 2000

"Mean" Gene Okerlund is about to do an interview with Hulk Hogan in the ring when The Total Package and Miss Elizabeth show up. The Total Package tells Hogan his return was not triumphant, as he is still the most perfect specimen in sports entertainment today, and tells anyone who cares about professional wrestling to take a look at him, as Hogan cannot touch his level of physical fitness on his best day. He is also upset that Jimmy Hart and Sting got involved after his and Hogan's match and stopped him from breaking Hogan's other arm, which would have led to someone spoon-feeding Hogan his oatmeal this morning. He says he kicked "the dog crap" out of Hulk Hogan for fifteen minutes, and if Hogan thinks he is done with him, he is mistaken as this is only the beginning and he will not come out of it so lucky the next time they square off in the ring. Hulk Hogan shows up and say it sounds like The Total Package is in a lot of trouble. He says The Total Package runs his mouth about beating him up all over the building as well as about next time, and challenges him to a match tonight. He tells The Total Package to get pumped up tonight, as he will see him in the steel cage.

Jeff Jarrett shows up with The Harris Brothers (Ron and Don Harris) and Scott Steiner's women. Jarrett says he was screwed for the last time at SuperBrawl 2000 last night, and that there is no reason why he should not have walked out with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship; nevertheless, WCW has screwed him again. He then says there is a reason why he is called "The Chosen One," because he has a signed document which states that if for any reason he does not walk out of SuperBrawl without the WCW World title, he will get a one-on-one rematch against Sid Vicious. All Sid has to do is name the time and place, as his days as WCW World Heavyweight Champion are numbered. Jarrett then states that his document has been signed by WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash, and while Nash's penmanship is a bit messy, it is to be expected after being hit in the head with a guitar and it is the real deal. He also announces that he will unleash The Harris Brothers on anyone who gets in his way, and everybody in the back is fair game. Jarrett then says that if WCW wants a war, they've got one, and they can choke on it.

Before the next match, Disco Inferno gets on the microphone and shows his irritation with him having to wrestle Booker instead of Big Vito. Funk may be old enough to be Dustin's dad, but Dustin is ten times tougher than his father ever was, and they will serve notice to The Harris Brothers (Ron and Don Harris) tonight. Dustin says if he was a betting man, he would bet on himself and Terry Funk, as The Harris Brothers' reign of terror is coming to an end.

Sid Vicious is seen laughing in the locker room.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray, Big T, J. Biggs, the new guy). Stevie Ray says that what happened at SuperBrawl 2000 is what happens when you are on your own and you have nobody to watch your back. J. Biggs says he has a proclamation, and thanks Big T for taking down Booker in front of all the people, and as a result of last night's match's stipulations, all the rights, privileges, residuals and royalties that Harlem Heat get all go back to them. Stevie Ray then reveals that the big man who is here after making a surprise appearance last night goes by the name of Cassius, and announces that Harlem Heat is moving on from Booker.

Oklahoma guests on commentary for the next match.

The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against La Parka. When La Parka show up, La Parka is noticeably skinnier. It does not take long for Oklahoma and the commentary team to figure out that something is up. Oklahoma gets in the ring and rips La Parka's mask off to reveal that it is Madusa. Madusa smacks Oklahoma, then the real La Parka shows up and hits Oklahoma with a steel chair only for The Artist to hit La Parka in the head with a steel chair shot of his own to retain the Cruiserweight Championship.

Sid says Jeff Jarrett keeps coming to the ring and spouting from the mouth that he wants a one-on-one rematch with him, and Jarrett keeps coming back for more despite what happened to him at SuperBrawl 2000. He says this is a big mistake on Jarrett's part. He gives Jarrett the one-on-one rematch, but he feels it is appropriate that it be done at Uncensored. He admits that Jarrett is witty, smart and keeps him on his toes, but says Jarrett cannot be the master of the master and ruler of the world. Sid tells Jarrett he will see him in Hell, and that Hell will be at Uncensored.

Backstage, security has to break up a brawl between The Harris Brothers (Ron and Don Harris) and the team of Kidman and Booker.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who says that Dustin Rhodes decided he wanted to be aplayer tonight and he did the right thing by turning on Terry Funk. Flair then tells Hulk Hogan that The Total Package will tear him up tonight, as he knows friends in high places. As he tells Okerlund that he has been "kissing Hogan's ass," he says that Hulkamania will never run wild again.

Buff Bagwell beats The Maestro. During the match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up and distracts The Maestro, saying the bet is a bet. This allows Buff Bagwell to hit the Buff Blockbuster for the win. After the match, The Cat tells The Maestro to stay in the ring or else he will stomp a mudhole in his ass. The Cat then tells The Maestro that he will be coming out to music of his choice, and when it plays, The Maestro becomes furious and puts referee Billy Silverman in a crossface chicken wing until the music stops, causing The Maestro to start composing again.

Sid Vicious is seen suddenly putting his bags in the back of his limousine and getting in the back of the limo.

The Wall beats Bam Bam Bigelow.

Hulk Hogan is seen beating on a chain-link fence while repeating the word "Luger" backstage.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair tells "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and David Flair to do what he tells them to do and to get their act together so Hulkamania does not run wild again.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hulk Hogan backstage. Hogan says he cannot think of a more fitting environment for the main event, as all the fans saw the transformation and saw him eat The Total Package alive, and when he plastered him with the cast, the cast felt good. He thanks Sting for making the save during the post-match attack, and says that this time, there will be no interference. Two men will walk in and one man walk out, and he cannot wait to beat him with the leather strap.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and The Total Package attack Jimmy Hart backstage and take him to the ring, where they continue to attack Jimmy Hart on the way to the ring and during the commercial break. When Hulk Hogan shows up, he goes after both Flair and The Total Package, and hits them both with a steel chair. Jimmy Hart is helped to the back, while Flair is ejected from ringside by WCW security.

The Total Package vs. Hulk Hogan in a Last Man Standing Steel Cage Match ends in a no-contest. During the match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair gets in the cage after kicking away referee Mickey Jay, but Hogan overpowers him. Miss Elizabeth slides a steel cage into the ring though the cage door. Hogan is about to whip Flair with his weight belt when The Total Package takes the steel chair and smacks it into Hogan's back, and Flair smacks Hogan with the weight belt. Head of WCW security Doug Dellinger tries to stop everything, but The Total Package takes him down, puts his right hand through the steel chair and stomps on the chair. Flair holds security back, and when they manage to get into the steel cage, they fare no better.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for January 17, 2000

A Cadillac limousine with "Nash N L" on the front license plate shows up, and The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner) climb out of it. WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash tells Jarrett and Scott Steiner "Boys, let's go make some history!"

Kidman beats Psychosis.

In footage from earlier today, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson says last night was a mixture of highs and lows in WCW with the beating Terry Funk took from Kevin Nash as well as "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit's World title win, which Anderson calls an honor to referee. He says what he means and he means what he says, regardless of what trouble it gets him into or what highs it got him to, and promised to call the match down the middle as he owed it to everybody from the competitors to the fans. He admits he was in awe from what he saw in the match and had to remind himself that he was the special guest referee, and went head-to-head on every count to make sure he was not out of position. However, watching the match again, he realizes that Sid Vicious' foot was underneath the bottom rope when Benoit made him tap out to the Crippler Crossface, and that the match should not have been decided at that time. Anderson says he blew it and admits he made a mistake, and that he respects what the referees do more than ever. He did his best, but it was not good enough. As a result, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship has been vacated again.

The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner) head to the WCW Commissioner's office. In a near-reprisal of their roles of Creative Control (Patrick and Gerald), The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris) are seen wearing sunglasses and three piece suits as they stand guard near the door.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Booker T and Midnight. Booker says he has not forgotten where he comes from and keeps it in his heart everyday. He says he does not wear it on his sleeve and talk about it all the time, as he is always down for his crown. He also says he thought Big T was still locked up and that both he and Stevie Ray agreed he was no good, but now Stevie Ray has learned from his mistakes. Booker T says it will be up to him to teach Stevie Ray how it is supposed to be done.

Stevie Ray and Big T show up. Stevie Ray tells everyone to take a look at "the new and improved Harlem Heat." He is willing to give his brother Booker T another chance, as they have fought before, but not in front of the fans. If Booker T comes out right now, he is willing to give him another chance. Stevie calls Booker out, and Booker shows up. Booker and Midnight show up, but Stevie tells Booker this is between them and them alone, and tells Booker T to leave Midnight in the back so they can work it out. Stevie says he and Booker have always had their difference and have worked things out in the past, but as Stevie Ray keeps talking, so does Big T. Booker punches Big T in the face, and Stevie Ray blindsides Booker T as Booker goes to work on Big T. Stevie Ray tells referee Nick Patrick to start the next match immediately as Big T puts Booker T in a Tiger Bomb.

Big T beats Booker T. During the match, Stevie Ray distracts Booker T, allowing Big T to pull a slapjack out of his fanny pack and smak Booker T in the head with it as referee Nick Patrick is preoccupied with Stevie Ray. After the match, Stevie Ray tells Booker T that if he had a little more street smarts, he would not have been beaten tonight. As Stevie Ray and Big T leave, Midnight shows up and has a staredown with Stevie Ray and Big T.

Backstage, Big Vito and Johnny The Bull tell Disco Inferno he will make the family proud tonight.

Vampiro beats Disco Inferno.

Scott Steiner brings some women into WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash's office.

Be the first to collect all five collectible WCW Surge cans: Booker T, Sting, Kevin Nash, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Goldberg!

3 Count (Evan Karagias, Shane Helms, Shannon Moore) are in the ring. Karagias says they appreciate all the fan mail from all the ladies out there, and that tonight is the fans' night as they will see a perfomance as they will never forget. Before that performance can begin, David Flair, Crowbar and Daffney show up.

David Flair and Crowbar retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore). During the match, Standards and Practices (Lenny Lane, Lodi, Miss Hancock) show upand take note of what is going on. Later on in the match, David Flair smacks Evan Karagias in the back with his crowbar. Standards and Practices then leave.

Backstage, The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner) are still with the women that Scott Steiner brought when all the women leave. Kevin Nash then focuses on nWo business, saying they need to get rid of The Old Age Outlaws (Terry Funk, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff).

Tank Abbott beats The Mestro in a Shoot Fight Rules Match with one punch. After the match, "Screamin'" Norman Smiley shows up and eggs Tank Abbott on. As he does, he backs into Meng, but Meng is more interested in Abbott than Smiley. Smiley has to drag Meng away from Abbott.

Backstage, the WCW locker room is seen heading towards the arena.

The WCW locker room enters the ring. Afterwards, WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash shows up with The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris). Nash says that as he looks at the locker room in the ring, he realizes why he became WCW Commissioner. He has goals for everybodyi n the ring as well as the commentary, saying he wants to give a personality to Mike Tenay, a brain to Brian Knobbs, a heart to Tank Abbott, and courage to "Screamin'" Norman Smiley. He then says "Wait a minute, I sound like Oz out here!" The crowd then chants for Goldberg, and Nash tells them that if they keep the chants up, he will fire "that son of a bitch." He says that last night, an injustice was done, and asks Jeff Jarrett to come up on stage. He then says that in a drunken haze, Terry Funk stripped Jarrett of the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, and says those injustices will not happen on his watch. He give the belt back to Jarrett, then says "Brothers don't shake; brothers hug" before they hug each other. Jarrett then takes the microphone and says he has two words for everybody: "Holy slapnuts." Nash then says there will be afew rule changes in WCW that everyone will abide by on a daily business. The first rule is health, and from here on out, mandatory examinations will be held before each and every match, including rectal exams. As he asks everyone to go to the back and see "Dr. Jellyfinger" after this meeting, Sid Vicious is seen in the locker room watching what is going on on a television monitor as he carries a can of Surge in his hands. This leads to the crowd chanting for Sid. Rule number two is locker room equality, and everyone will be in the same locker rooms. Also, whenever anyone sees him, they will look to the ground and refer to him as "Lord Master." Rule number three is that nobody is allowed to ask what is going on with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at any time, as his official statement on the matter is "I'll let you know." Rule number four is that there will be no illegal substances in the locker room, and that dogs are going through the locker room and each and every vial of Viagra will be confiscated. He then says "Lex...I'm sorry." He then mentions last night's match between Buff Bagwell and Diamond Dallas Page, and asks Buff "Are you doin' Kim or what?" Since nothing was settled, as Commissioner, his first main event will be Bagwell vs. DDP with Kimberly as the special guest referee. He then tells Kimberly that he has got a referee's outfit for her tonight, as well. As for the fans, he tells them to realize that The New World Order (Nash, Jarrett, Scott Steiner) is now running the show, and they may see heroes on the ring, but on this stage tonight, they are witnessing gods.

Backstage, Kimberly meets with The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner). WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash hands Kimberly the referee's shirt, and Kimberly is none too thrilled when she finds out she has to referee a match between Diamond Dallas Page and Buff Bagwell again. Nash then asks who was better between Bagwell and DDP, and Kimberly storms off.

Before the next match, Mike Rotunda says the only reason Ohio State did not get beaten in a bowl game is because they were not good enough to get into one.

Masahiro Chono and Super J beat The Varsity Club (Mike Rotunda and Scott Steiner). Before the match begins, it is mentioned that Super J is the former nWo Sting. During the match, Rotunda has Chono in a small package, but the ref is too busy with Rick Steiner. Super J gets in the ring and rolls Chono on top of Rotunda to give himself and Chono the win. The Varsity Club go on the attack after the match.

Sid Vicious is on the cover and feature article of the newest edition of WCW Magazine, available now.

Sid Vicious beats The Wall. During the match, Disco Inferno, Johnny The Bull and Big Vito are backstage with The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Ron Harris, Don Harris). Big Vito tells the nWo that they represent the Marinara crime family and to let them know if they need anything. WCW Commissioner Kevin Nash asks them if they remember Vinnie Vegas (who was also Kevin Nash), then asks them to take out Sid Vicious right now. After the match, Johnny The Bull gets in the ring to attack Sid, but ends up eating a choke slam. Big Vito gets in the ring in an attempt to do the same, but he gets powerbombed. Disco gets in the ring, but immediately gets back out when Sid sees him.

Scott Steiner is with two women as he heads to the ring.

The new WCW Mastercard is now available in ten original designs including the new logo, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Konnan and Sting.

Scott Steiner shows up with two women, and he immediately attacks someone dressed as the mascot for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Scott Steiner says he had to bring his own women from Michigan, as finding a woman in Ohio is like finding a needle in a haystack. He says there are some sorority freaks who want to find out if the legend that there is nothing finer that Scott Steiner is true, and if they are in the mood to shake their moneymaker all until they call him "The Big Bad Booty Daddy," all they need to do is meet him in the back and take a number. He then says that when he was in Michigan University, he and the boys loved to come to Ohio State, as beating them was about as easy as their women, and all they need is a real fight song. He then mentions the Michigan University fight son, then he pulls a man over the guardrail, punches him a few times and bloodies his nose. WCW Security escorts the man to safety as Scott Steiner dares the crowd to jump the guardrail and get their ass kicked.

The Total Package and Miss Elizabeth are featured in the newest edition of WCW Magazine, available now.

The Total Package beats Bam Bam Bigelow. During the match, Miss Elizabeth distracts referee Charles Robinson, and Chris "Champagne" Kanyon gets involved as Bam Bam Bigelow gets ready to hit Greetings From Asbury Park only to get booted in teh chest. J. Biggs hands Kanyon's champagne bottle to The Total Package, who smashes it into the back of Bam Bam's head for the win.

The special encore presentation of Souled Out is tomorrow night a 8 PM Eastern.

Diamond Dallas Page beats Buff Bagwell in a match with Kimberly as the special guest referee. During the match, Kimberly tries to shove Buff Bagwell - who has hit DDP with the Buff Blockbuster - from behind, but she gets knocked down. Buff Bagwell checks on Kimberly, and DDP then hits Buff with the Diamond Cutter for the win.

The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) are seen in the building.

It is announced that Goldberg shredded tendons in his arm while punching out the limousine last week, and that he needed 40 stitches to close the wounds. He will be able to heal back to 100%. It is also announced that Scott Hall has not been seen, even by Kevin Nash, since he was attacked on Thunder, and the status of their tag team title defense is in question tonight. It is also announced that earlier today, executive vice president Bill Busch has had enough of the direction of the powers that be, Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara, and has sent out a press release to the directors of WCW, part of which states that if Kevin Nash does not show up by 7 o'clock Eastern time, then he and Hall would be stripped of the WCW World Tag Team Championships. As a result, the powers that be have booked a Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament that starts tonight and continue next week. It is also announced that Scott Steiner will be announcing his retirement, as it is appeared that Scott's back is not healing as quickly as it should, and that a second surgery will be needed that will potentially end his career.

Chris "Champagne" Kanyon and his entourage guest on commentary for the next match.

Brian Knobbs beats Bam Bam Bigelow in a hardcore match in front of a merchandise stand in the crowd. Chris "Champagne" Kanyon has to get into the crowd to see what is going on for the commentary table.

"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit and Sid Vicious are seen entering the building. Meanwhile, an nWo monster truck is seen

The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) are seen bossing WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon around as he asks for the WCW World Tag Team titles, then Bret knees Dillon in the gut.

The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) look at their nWo monster truck at the back of the building. Suddenly, they see the white car that Sid Vicious and "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit came out of. The lights are still on, and they recognize it as Sid Vicious' car.

Sid Vicious shows up calling out The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett), and tells them that payback will be a bitch. He says he, Goldberg and "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit have figured out that if they don't watch each other's backs, the nWo will devour them like the vultures that they are, and they must kick their ass. He then says it is unfortunate what happened to Goldberg on Thunder, but it will be Bret's worst nightmare as he will be his time to step up to the plate and take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and powerbomb Bret straight to hell. Benoit show up, and says that brings them to Jeff Jarrett, and says it is a shame when you see young talented tainted by ego and greed. Jarrett has lost Benoit's respect as well as his own self-respect, and come Souled Out, Benoit has "one hell of an ass kicking" in line for him in the form of a "Triple Threat Theater." It will start out with a Dungeon Rules Only Match - no rules, no way out, wins are by pinfall and submission only, and if you leave, you lose. After that, there will be a Bunkhouse Brawl, followed by a Caged Heat Match, where two men walk in and only one man walks out. This will be a two-out-of-three falls match, with whoever having won two of three matches in the Triple Threat Theater being the winner, and he will prove that Jeff Jarrett is the chosen one...to be led to the sacrificial lamb led to slaughter who will find out what "silent but violent" is all about.

The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) is seen spray painting graffiti and "The Band Is Back" on Sid Vicious' car. Nash also kicks a few dents into the

Ricky Medlock of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top are seen in the front row.

Sid Vicious and "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit see the damage done to their car.

Buzzkill shows up to an entrance very similar to "Road Dogg" Jesse James' (which is even less surprising considering that both men are related in real life).

Buzzkill and Mike Rotunda beat Konnan and Dean Malenko to continue to the next round of the Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament after the inevitable breakdown between The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) and The Revolution (Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, Asya) happens both in and out of the ring. Asya gets in the ring and distracts the referee as Malenko has Buzzkill in the Texas Cloverleaf, then "Hacksaw" Jimmy Duggan shows up and hits Malenko in the back with his 2x4. Leia Meow then gets on top of Asya, then Buzzkill pins Malenko for the win.

Jeff Jarrett and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart try to pull the plug on the show at the production truck.

Despite the snowy footage, a white limousine shows up. Rick Steiner helps his brother Scott Steiner out of the back and into his wheelchair as the television signal is restored. Scott is also seen carrying a cane.

Jeff Jarrett and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart trash the catering area, and Jarrett spray paints "nWo" on a wall.

Tank Abbott quickly beats Shane by knockout, then WCW security force Abbott out of the ring.

We see the WCW Mayhem New Year's Evil sweepstakes winners in the crowd.

We see a video package concerning Scott Steiner's career and retirement.

Rick Steiner wheels Scott Steiner to the ring, then both brothers hug. Scott says he had a speech all set up, but the last tripd down the aisle was harder than he thought it would be. He says he went back to the doctor earlier this week, and found out that he had a degenerated disk and that a fusion would be required, and was told if he wanted to stay healthy afterwards, he would have to retire from professional wrestling. Scott is then seen crying, and says it is hard to take being told that his career is over and not being able to leave on his own terms, and says the worst part is never being able to wrestle with Rick. He asks that the crowd say a prayer for him for the next couple of weeks, then thanks them. Suddenly, The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) show up, and Bret tells him to get out of the ring as nobody has time for "a washed up nobody" like him. Scott leaves the ring, and Bret says Scott was never very good, anyway. Nash and Jarrett toss Scott's wheelchair out of the ring. Bret says he understands emotions, but he says there are more important things than "a washed up wrestler" like Scott Steiner and everyone can appreciate that he still has the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Jarrett tries to speak, but he cannot bring himself to do it. Nash tries to speak, but when a production assistant tells them to wrap it up, the production assistant gets whacked with a guitar by Jarrett while Nash says the show has to cut for a commercial break.

The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) are still in the ring after the commercial break. Nash says that whoever took their baseball bats in the back made a bad move. He then gives a shot-out to WCW executive vice president Bill Busch, and tell him to sit up in his office in Atlanta, Georgia so that they can take care of the wrestling business. He then says that the powers that be and the nWo have been completely in control, and while they can take the tag team titles away from them, nobody will be able to beat them and they will get them back. He also says that Scott Hall will be here live in Houston, Texas. Jarrett then asks anybody if they want to hear a survey tonight, then tells the crowd he's got their survey "right here." Nash then says he thought they would tear the Astrodome down, and asks how many "Houston cowboy pussies" you can put in one building. As for Goldberg, he may have had the last laugh on him, they will be turning up the heat as the game is now deadly. Bret says he sees it as "Bret 4, Goldberg 0," and says Goldberg reminds him of Dr. Kevorkian, saying Goldberg can consider himself stopped. As for Sid Vicious, the nWo will destroy him just like they did his car, with the only difference being that Sid will bleed and he will kick his ass at Souled Out whether he likes it or not. Jarrett says the Astrodome the "Assholedome," because ever since he got off the plane, all he's seen is "a bunch of assholes." He also says that if "The Canadian Crippler" Chis Benoit wants to play Triple Threat Theater with him, he has no problem with it, but Benoit should not be surprised if the end credits state "Jeff Jarrett just kicked another slapnuts' ass." Suddenly, Sid's car drives down the aisle. Sid comes out of the driver's seat with a baseball bat, with Benoit coming out of the passenger side with a bat of his own. Nash and Jarrett get nailed with baseball bats, and the nWo runs out of the ring. Suddenly, Curt Hennig shows up and attacks Sid and Benoit from behind, but the bats make fr an easy equalizer and Hennig goes down before being tossed onto the hodd of Sid's car.

The Revolution (Shane Douglas, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, Asya) are in front of the White House in Washington, DC. Suddenly, Saturn and Malenko catch a guy in a Bill Clinton match as Douglas talks about Bill Clinton.

Shane Douglas guests on commentary for the next match, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's wife Debra and his two young daughters Celia and Rebecca are seen in the crowd.

"Screamin'" Norman Smiley and Asya beat Perry Saturn and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan to continue to the next round of the Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament after Asya wants a piece of Saturn and eventually superplexes him. She then tags in Smiley, who makes the pin after "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, who is never tagged into the match, hits Saturn with a knee drop while Shane Douglas argues with Asya. After the match, Duggan chases everyone out of the ring with his 2x4 and hits Saturn in the back with it. Duggan then celebrates in the ring with his wife Debra and his two daughters Celia and Rebecca.

Souled Out is live on pay-per-view on January 16th!

Jeff Jarrett retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Kidman. During the match, Kevin Nash and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart show up with baseball bats in their hands, and Nash rolls Kidman into the ring. Later on in the match, the rest of The Filty Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr. Eddie Guerrero) show up and fight Bret and Nash, but when Kidman goes for the top rope Shooting Star Press, Nash knocks him off with the baseball and Jarrett hits The Stroke to retain. After the match, Nash continues to injure Rey Mysterio Jr.'s hurt knee with the baseball bat as the nWo continues to attack The Filthy Animals, then Bret spray paints "nWo" on them all.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Total Package and Miss Elizabeth, who come out to Sting's music as The Total Package is still dressed like Sting. The Total Package says he annihilated Sting and kicked his ass as he pretends to be sting, and says he is the greatest physical specimen in professional wrestling today. He then says that when Miss Elizabth hits Sting with tbe baseball bat, it was a combination of Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa, then says he and Miss Elizabeth are the greatest combination in sports today. Suddenly, the lights go out, and thunder can be heard. When they come back on, Okerlund has disappeared, and black roses lay in the center of the ring. The Total Package looks around as he and Miss Elizabeth leave the ring.

Kevin Nash is seen talking to Scott Hall on a cellphone, telling him they have a match tonight.

Fit Finley and Meng fight each other before the next match begins, even though they are tag team partners.

The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris) beat Fit Finley and Meng by count-out to continue to the next round of the Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament when Finley and Meng fight each other again in the aisle. It is announced during the match that The Harris Boys were formerly known as Creative Control (Patrick and Gerald), and they have cut all ties with the powers that be. He throws out Shane Helms and Shannon moore, then leaves Evan Karagias in the ring, When David Flair's tag team partner The Maestro shows up, the guy from the filling station on Thunder shows up and attacks The Maestro from behind with a lead pipe. Unsurprisingly, the man's name is Crowbar.

David Flair and Crowbar beat Evan Karagias and Vampiro to continue to the next round of the Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament. During the match, Vampiro fights off all three members of 3 Count (Karagias, Shannon Moore, Shane Helms) following an argument between Vampiro and Karagias. They identify themselves as "Standards and Practices," (formerly Lenny, Lodi and Stacy Keibler in a response to Lenny and Lodi being removed from TV due to the uproar from GLAAD) and they are glad to be here. They say such behavior wil not be tolerated, and if it continues, David Flair and Crowbar will be removed from their show. Not surprisingly, they are attack from behind by David Flair and Crowbar.

Backstage, The New World Order (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett) argue over whether or not Scott Hall will be here. Kevin Nash says Scott Hall will be here, but Jarrett and Bret feel otherwise.

Chris "Champagne" Kanyon and Buff Bagwell beat Disco Inferno and Big Vito to continue to the next round of the Lethal Lottery New Year's Evil tag team tournament. It is announced that Diamond Dallas Page will face Buff Bagwell at Souled Out in a Last Man Standing Match. During the match, Kanyon has to take his entourage back to the back after Tony Marinara and Johnny The Bull are seen talking to them. This distracts Disco Inferno and Big Vito, which gives Bagwell some brief momentum. Later in the match, Johnny The Bull distracts the referee on the apron, allowing Tony Marinara to hand Disco Infreno a chain to wrap around his hand. He accidnetally hits Big Vito when Bagwell ducks, and Bagwell hits the Buff Bagwell for the win despite Kanyon not returning. After the match, Disco punches Buff Bagwell in the back, then he, Big Vito and Johnny The Bull take the boots to him.

Before the next match, Kevin Nash announces that Scott Hall has not arrived yet, and asks for a couple of minutes to allow Hall a chance to make it to the ring. He is interrupted by the entrance of his opponents, The Wall and Sid Vicious. and the match becomes a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Kevin Nash beats The Wall and Sid Vicious. After the match, "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit runs in and fights the nWo (Bret, Nash, Jarrett), then Scott Steiner shows up with a baseball bat in his hands. He gets in the ring, and when Sid goes for the powerbomb on Jeff Jarrett, Scott hits Nash in the back with a baseball bat and removes his back brace. He then rips his shirt off to reveal a black-and-silver New World Order shirt, revealing himself as a member of The New World Order. nWo flyers then drop down from the top of the arena , and an nWo banner is unfurled as Scott Steiner, Nash and Nash continue to attack Sid. Jarrett then drives to the ring in Sid's car, and they toss Sid into the car. Jarrett takes the driver's seat and drives off with Scott Steiner in the back seat and Kevin Nash laying on the hood. He takes the car outside, then they break the back windshield of the car with baseball bat before hitting Sid with the baseball bats to keep him in the car. Bret runs into the nearby nWo monster truck, and runs over Sid's car with Sid still inside. (In reality, Bret did not really drive the monster truck.)
