The show starts with a performance by The Nitro Girls.
It is announced by Tony Schiavone that some systems went down prematurely during Halloween Havoc last night, and that 10 to 20% of households watching Halloween Havoc were not able to see the end of Hollywood Hogan vs. The Warrior as well as the entirety of Diamond Dallas Page vs. Goldberg for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Because of this, World Championship Wrestling has decided to air DDP vs. Goldberg for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Halloween Havoc in its entirety for free on the second hour of the show. Schiavone says that this was not a ploy by WCW to go off the air early.
Stevie Ray beats Kenny Kaos after Buff Bagwell shows up, distracts the referee and Kenny Kaos, and tosses Stevie Ray a slapjack, which he whacks Kenny Kaos with as soon as he turns around. Bagwell and Stevie Ray attack Kenny Kaos after the match, but Rick Steiner rushes in and makes the save. Rick then checks on Kenny Kaos, and asks him to be his partner to take on the nWo tonight, as nobody gave him a chance when he first started. Kaos says his tag team partner is on the shelf with a bad shoulder, but he has idolized Rick for a decade, and would be honored to defend the WCW World Tag Team Championships with him tonight.
Kanyon beats Prince Iaukea. Before the next match, it is announced that Hollywood Hogan vs. The Warrior will not be shown in its entirety tonight, as the end of the match is considered too graphic to show on cable TV on not suitable for the Turner networks, and because of that, that match can only be shown on pay-per-view. Also, when Kanyon asks who's better than him, the crowd still chants "Everybody!"
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls, this time at the commentary table.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko). Flair says Steve "Mongo" McMichael is missing in action, but he will be here before the night is over. Flair says that Eric Bischoff has come under some hard times while trying to keep Horsemen out of the building and off of television, and tells him the Horsemen are here and here to stay. Suddenly, Bischoff shows up, and says he has underestimated Flair and did not realize how much that he meant to the fans, and that there is no doubt in his mind that everyone wants to see him wrestle again. To show Flair the goodwill in his heart and bridge the gap between himself and Flair, he will give Flair the opportunity to wrestle tonight, as he wants to give the fans what they want. After Bischoff leaves, Flair admits he does not trust Bischoff, but he will be in the ring dressed to kill.

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Goldberg for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Halloween Havoc is replayed in its entirety. (Due to this replay, this would be the last episode where Nitro would beat Raw in the ratings; after this, Raw would continue to dominate for the rest of the Monday Night Wars.)
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kevin Nash in his dressing room. All of a sudden, Scott Hall shows up. Nash tells him it was not about winning or losing, and it was about getting Hall back as a friend. Hall admits he hit a wall last night, and that it is time to change his life. Nash says his walking away from Hall during their match was not about proving a point, and that all he needed to do was to beat some sense into Hall. Hall says that if if maybe he can change his life, maybe he can help Nash out if he wants him. This proves to be a set-up as The Giant shows up and boots Nash in the face, and Hall joins in on the attack, which ends Nash is both figuratively and literally thrown through a wall.
We see a video package of The Nitro Girls, followed by a performance by The Nitro Girls.
nWo Hollywood shows up. Eric Bischoff introduces Horace Hogan as the newest member of nWo Hollywood, and Hollywood Hogan says it is quite obvious to everyone in the wrestling world that he is the god of wrestling and that the nWo is the sole residing power, and if you're blac-and-white, you would die for those colors. This is why Stevie Ray, Scott Hall, Vincent, Scott Steiner, Buff Bagwell and The Giant are watching his back, for anyone who messes with nWo Hollywood is digging their own grave. To join nWo Hollywood, one must spill their blood and stab themselves in the heart to prove their loyalty, and for that, he is proud to introduce Horace Hogan as the newest member of nWo Hollywood and bestows the colors of the black-and-white on him for life, and hopes that he will chop all obstacles with the edge of his hand and prove by the end of the night that he is true to the black-and-white.
Saturn beats Eddie Guerrero by disqualification after he is attacked by Damian and Hector Garza. Eddie tries to attack Saturn after the match, but Saturn ducks and sends Eddie over the top rope before more Latino World Members show up, including a man wearing a red bandanna and a black vest hits him with a brainbuster-like maneuver.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Judy Bagwell. She says that Buff Bagwell has let his family down big time after all that she did for him.She wants to protect him, but he let Scott Steiner talk to her like a dog, and says Buff has degraded the family name and that the family will not tolerate it any longer. Tonight, she is a mother on a mission and tired of being nice, and tells Buff Bagwell that she loves Marcus Bagwell with all her heart, but she has had enough of Buff.
Scott Steiner and Kenny Kaos retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Stevie Ray and The Giant.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Eric Bischoff replaces Mike Tenay on commentary for the next match, and says he will stay true to his word by letting the world see "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair wrestle...by showing footage of Flair taking on Hollywood (then Hulk) Hogan at Bash At The Beach 1994.
Kidman retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Juventud Guerrera.
We see the first two videos in the WCW/nWo Superstar Series: Sting Unmasked! and "Macho Man" Randy Savage: Behind The Madness!", courtesy of Trident Entertainment. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan tries to steal one of the videos, but gets caught.
Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell show up. He says the only reason why everyone is in the arena right now is to see nWo Hollywood, and where nWo Holywood goes, there is a party. For the last two weeks, he's been going strong and putting girls down, having them tell him who their daddy is. What he wants to know is if the ladies love him for his mind or his body, and says he is their hook-up and to "holla if you hear me." He then tells Buff Bagwell that he is the best set-up man in wrestling today, and not only are they nWo for life, they are friends for life. Buff then has a message for all the mothers in the crowd, and knows that his mother Judy Bagwell was here earlier saying he ruined the Bagwell family name, and tells all the mothers that their place is in the kitchen before telling his father to set Judy straight. Scott then says that he knows two people are in the building: Rick Steiner and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. He calls out Dillon, wanting a rematch against his brother Rick Steiner tonight. Dillon shows up, and Scott Steiner says he lied to Dillon, claiming that when he turned his back on WCW, he knew that Dillon liked his brother more than he liked him. Dillon admits he liked Rick, but has nothing against him. He also accuses Dillon of thinking his brother was better than him, but Dillon tells him his track record speaks for itself and both Steiners are pretty good athletes. Scott then accuses Dillon of wanting Rick to beat him last night at Halloween Havoc, and asks him two questions: Why did the referee at the start of the match not finish the match. Dillon tells him to watch the replay tomorrow night, but Scott demands an answer from him, saying Dillon had something to do with that. Dillon says he did not touch the initial referee, and Scott and Buff accuse him of lying. Dillon says that if he were at ringside during the match, he would have sent another referee because it is the right thing to do. Scott Steiner then kicks Dillon in the gut and tells him the right thing to do is to "kick his WCW butt." Security shows up and tries to stop Steiner as he puts Dillon in the Steiner Recliner.
The Warrior shows up. Last night, Hollywood Hogan had the opportunity to face him like a man, and he failed. Last night, he had the opportunity to set a fire with but one match that will now haunt him forever. He tells Hogan there is a difference between beating someone up and genuinely beating a man, and the Warriors know he beat the hell out of him last night, and Hogan's pinfall does not change it. The Warrior tells Hogan he has opened the door to The Warrior's hell, and he is its gatekeeper. He says the time is near, then Hollywood Hogan shows up, but Horace Hogan gets on the apron and gets in the ring for Hollywood's sake only for The Warrior to take him down and out of the ring. The Giant goes in, but he fares no better. Hollywood attacks The Warrior from behind, but The Warrior takes him down and knocks Eric Bischoff off the apron.
Scott Steiner and Scott Hall vs. Lex Luger and Konnan de-evolves into an all-out brawl.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Bret "The Hit Man" Part to win the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Bret kicks both DDP and referee Mickey Jay in the groin at the same time, then pulls out a foreign object and wraps it around his hand. He revives referee Mickey Jay, abut DDP ducks the punch and hits the Diamond Cutter to win the United States title for a second time. Bret attacks Page after the match and punches out referee Mickey Jay, then grabs a steel chair and rams it into DDP's kneecap before putting him in the Sharpshooter. He then lets go and continues to attack DDP with the steel chair, then Goldberg runs in as the show ends.

Thunderstruck - Thunder recap for May 14, 1998
We hear from Mando Guerrero, Eddie Guerrero's brother and Chavo Guerrero Jr.'s uncle, who says that Eddie and Chavo grew up together and that Eddie is currently leading the third generation of Guerreros. He feels Eddie is going to town on Chavo, and that this bet is dividing the Guerrero family. He cannot understand why Eddie is keeping Chavo under his shadow, especially since the family loves the sport, and says that Eddie is going about this the wrong way. Mando says he is trying to accept what is happening, but he cannot.
Before the next match, Eddie Guerrero says that the Guerrero family is distraught and want him to be more lenient to Chavo Guerrero Jr. He says that he has done just that and hand-picked a suitable opponent for Chavo who is about the same height and weight: Reese, who is clearly taller and heavier than Chavo. Eddie begs Chavo not to embarrass the Guerrero family, and to do his best and show what he can do. He also tells him that what happened Monday night will not happen again.
Reese quickly beats Chavo Guerrero Jr. After the match, Eddie Guerrero smacks Chavo with his towel and chews him out as Ultimo Dragon heads to the ring, and Chavo inadvertently shoves Eddie into Ultimo Dragon, who puts Eddie in the Dragon Sleeper. Chavo walks away, and referees show up to try to get Ultimo Dragon to break the hold.
This Saturday night on WCW Saturday Night: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan! Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Fit Finley! Yuji Nagata vs. Goldberg!
Raven shows up with four riot control officers. Raven says he is sick and tired of hearing about Diamond Dallas Page, and informs DDP that he is not Wyatt Earp, this is not Dodge City and he is not some outlaw he can "backjump and string up like Josie Wales." He tells DDP that if he wants to bring his noose and fight, then he has left Raven's Flock in the back so they can go one-on-one. He continues to call out DDP, and DDP shows up from out of the crows with a bullrope around his neck. The riot control officers move into place, but DDP leaps over them and onto Raven. The riot squad then attack DDP and hold him so that Raven can hit DDP with an Evenflow DDT. Raven then ties the bullrope around DDP's neck and sends him over the top rope in an attempt to hang him.
It is announced that Goldberg is in a Gauntlet Match against Raven's Flock at Slamboree, and if he cannot win the Gauntlet Match, the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship will be awarded back to Raven.
Despite interference by Ronnie Rage, Fit Finley retains the WCW World Television Championship against Kenny Kaos.
Goldberg beats Sick Boy. After the match, Riggs tries to attack Goldberg from behind, but Goldberg makes quick work of him and the rest of Raven's Flock thinks twice before going after Goldberg.
Before the next match, Kidman gives "Gentleman" Chris Adams a choice between losing to the Rings of Saturn or the Death Valley Driver. Suddenly, Van Hammer tries to get in the ring only to be stopped by WCW security and pushed back to the back, and Kidman and Saturn decide that Adams will lose to the Death Valley Driver.
Saturn beats "Gentleman" Chris Adams.
"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Ronnie Rage with the Crippler Crossface.
Eric Bischoff shows up. Bischoff talks about his challenge to WWF owner Vince McMahon from last Monday night, as well as McMahon whining about being invited to where Bischoff is. Bischoff then says he just got a letter from McMahon's attorney Jerry McDivett of Kirpatrick & Lockhart, which he reads. The letter states that McMahon will not be appearing at Slamboree and that Bischoff has no authority to suggest that he will do so. It also states that McMahon is one of Titan Sports' leading television personalities and is responsible for some of its highest ratings ever. Nevertheless, Bischoff says the invitation is still open and that security will be looking for Vince McMahon outside of the venue, ready to take him to his dressing room should he show up, even though Bischoff says Vince doesn't "have the guts" and that Vince's attorney has stated that he will not be here.
Before the next match, Kevin Nash does not show up with Scott Hall. Nash says Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan will not allow Hall to be on live television, but they cannot stop Hall from being at Slamboree on Sunday. He then asks if he is looking incredibly sexy tonight, and says he is like Brad Pitt except with a lot more meat on his bones before bringing out "a confidant of The Wolfpac:" "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Dusty says that Bischoff and Hogan are attempting to crack the Wolfpac and that Hall will be at Slamboree. As for tonight, he will stand in counsel with Kevin Nash.
Kevin Nash beats Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) after "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes makes himself part of the match, beating up Johnny Grunge outside of the ring after dragging him out of the ring while Nash hits Rocco Rock with a Jackknife Power Bomb, then hitting Rocco Rock with an elbow drop.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Sting ends with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart getting into the ring with a steel chair. Savage takes out Bret Hart, but when he goes for a top rope elbow drop, The Giant runs in and catches Savage. Kevin Nash makes his way into the ring and hits The Giant with a steel chair, but Sting takes a steel chair and smacks it into Nash's back. The Giant then grabs a microphone and says that Sting probably wants to know what he is doing, and says he has made a decision to walk in as partners at Slamboree. He then says that if they win the tag team titles, then Sting will have to make a decision. The Giant then pulls out a black-and-white nWo shirt and hands it to Sting, and Sting looks at the shirt before looking at The Giant, who leaves the ring as Lex Luger gets on the apron to talk to Sting in an attempt to reason with him.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for March 2, 1998
Two limousines show up outside of the arena, and the nWo comes out of both of them. Once again, "Macho Man" Randy Savage is not with the rest of the group.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Scotty Riggs with the Crippler Crossface. (Lodi is seen with the words "Soy Bomb" written on his chest, a reference to Michael Portnoy, the dancing man from Bob Dylan's performance of Love Sick from the recent Grammy Awards.)
"Macho Man" Randy Savage headed to Harvard University to accept his Harvard Lampoon award of 1998 Real Man of the Year.
Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up. Bischoff says "Macho Man" Randy Savage wishes - just like the fans - that he could be Hogan. Hogan calls Savage "a piece of crap," and says Savage isn't even a real man as he couldn't keep his marriage together and couldn't hit the big late night shows like he can. He then says Savage crossed the line for standing in his shadow and questioning the nWo pecking order, and says Savage took enough rope to hang himself. He then says that, unlike Savage, he can beat Sting for the three-count. Hogan then tells Savage he has a steel cage match with him while Hall beats Sting for the World title, and that Savage isn't even good enough to carry his bags. Hogan then promises that the only thing that will be left of him is his carcass that he can rub, maim and tear on the steel cage.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair cannot wait for tonight's main event between the team of Sting and "Macho Man" Randy Savage and the team of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund and The Nitro Girls are at nearby Saint Joseph's University. After a interview with some students, we see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

Prince Iaukea beats Psychosis after stopping a victory roll off the top rope from Psychosis dead in its tracks.
Despite having a steel chair he brought into the ring used against him, Raven beats Disco Inferno.
We see some footage from St. Joseph's University from earlier today, where Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) spent some time with the student body and signed autographs. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Officer Charles Medley, who says it's been a long time since he was on spring break but is going wherever Okerlund goes. He also interviews Mike Carroll from Cleveland, Ohio, who recently won a contest for a Spring Break vacation.

Both Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) and the team of The Barbarian and Hugh Morrus bring tables to the ring before the next match. Shortly after the match, it is announced that the match has been officially made a Philadelphia Street Fight.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth show up. Savage says "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan is pathetic, and that the only dark cloud hovering over him is the fact that he's been carrying him all these years. He also says that Hogan should be happy when the nWo says "for life," as if it weren't for the nWo, Hogan wouldn't have a life. When he and Hogan square off, they'll find out "who's dyin' and who's lyin'." He then quotes Hogan, saying "it's only business," as for one night only, he and Sting are going to do business as it's the only way to get Hogan and Scott Hall in the ring. He then says Sting will do business his way. As if on cue, Sting shows up and pulls out a microphone, and tells Scott Hall he "brought it" last week, and that the survey says Scott Hall is dead. He then tells Savage that he saw Savage's face along with Hogan's for the last 16 months, and that he doesn't forgive or forget. He then tells Savage that he only does business his way.
Bill Goldberg beats Sick Boy. Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Scotty Riggs, Lodi, Hammer) are seen in the front row before the match.
We see the world premiere of rap-metal band Stuck Mojo's music video for Rising, which not only features Diamond Dallas Page, but also Raven, Kidman, Scotty Riggs, Sick Boy, Lodi, and Hammer of Raven's Flock.
Mike Tenay interviews Diamond Dallas Page. He talks about the video shoot, and says no explanation is needed as to what Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Sick Boy, Scotty Riggs, Lodi, Hammer) is and that there is a reason why he and Raven are at different points in their careers. He calls Raven "a crybaby who hides behind his flock and doesn't like to be responsible for his actions." This week on Thunder, Raven will feel the bang. He then leaves through the crowd.
Before the next match, Hammer calls out Diamond Dallas Page, saying that if he hasn't left the building to shoot another Stuck Mojo music video, he has a message for him. It doesn't take long for Page to show back up, this time back through the crowd.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Hammer by disqualification after Page is attacked by Raven. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit sneaks up from behind Raven and hits him with two German Suplexes before holding Raven up so Page can hit him. Page accidentally hits Benoit, and Benoit and Page punch each other a couple of times before suddenly punching Raven.
We see more footage from St. Joseph's University from earlier today, and "Mean" Gene Okerlund and The Nitro Girls advertise Spring Break-Out '98 at Panama City Beach, Florida in two weeks' time.

Hart says that he and Curt Hennig have fought each other so many times and looks forward to fighting him again, as the nWo are a bunch of liars, cheaters and bullies. He came to WCW with one thing in mind: tearing the nWo down brick by brick, and to make a difference, not money. He tells Hennig that he will prove that he's not at his level and that he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. He also says that Hennig's dad never beat his dad and never will. As for Bryan Adams, he will pay just like anybody else who wants to cross his path and that tonight is the perfect night.
The British Bulldog vs. Scott Norton ends in a no-contest after Norton pushes referee Mickey Jay back as he attacks Bulldog outside of the ring. The fight goes to the back after the match, and referees have to try to restore order.
Before the next match, Konnan verbally confronts Juventud Guerrera, saying that he helped him get Guerrera a job in WCW only to repay him by losing his mask. He calls Guerrera a "punk mark buster" and says that he is "no longer raza."
Konnan beats Super Calo with the Tequila Sunrise. He is about to unmask Super Calo when Juventud Guerrera confronts Konnan, challenging him to a match. Konnan accepts for next week, and tells Guerrera that if he's lucky, he'll get him an audition with The Nitro Girls.
Mike Tenay interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He says he wants to see tonight's event of Sting and "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall first-hand. He said he thought he would never see the day that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart would do something right and win. Suddenly, Curt Hennig and Rick Rude show up, and Hennig says that if Flair is a 13-time World champion, then he's a 14-time loser, and that if he thinks Bret will help him when he kicks his teeth down his throat, he's dumber than he looks. Flair then tells Rick Rude to step off the apron so he can take it to him, and the two of them start brawling. Flair quickly gets the upper hand, and is about to put Hennig in the Figure Four Leg Lock when Rick Rude attacks Flair from behind so that Hennig can put Flair in the Hennigplex and Rick Rude can count the "pinfall." Rude and Hennig continue to attack Flair afterwards, and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart rushes to the ring, forcing Hennig and Rude to retreat.
Rick Steiner tells Sting he'll be waiting in the back if he needs him, as he doesn't think "Macho Man" Randy Savage can be trusted.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
We head back to nearby St. Joseph's University, where we see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Scott Steiner beats "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan with a new submission maneuver called the Steiner Recliner.
Before the next match, Chris Jericho introduces his first "guest" on "Monday Night Jericho:" Eddie Guerrero. He then says that after this match, the crowd will never, ever want to see anyone else again.
Booker T and Dean Malenko beat Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero after Booker T stops Eddie Guerrero from breaking up a Texas Cloverleaf from Dean Malenko on Chris Jericho.
Scott Steiner, Konnan, Kevin Nash, Buff Bagwell and Dusty Rhodes show up. Scott Steiner says tonight is the crowd's lucky night, as they not only get to see him wrestle, but to see his brother Rick Steiner get inducted into the nWo. He says his brother realized that when he joined the nWo, it was the best decision for both of them, and that the nWo will get stronger tonight. They call out Rick Steiner, and have an "nWo 4 Lyfe" shirt waiting for him. Rick shows up with Ted DiBiase, and does the "Twoo Sweet" hand signal with everyone. Nash says the "nWo 4 Life" shirt can be bought at the merchandise table, but when you get it straight from the nWo, you're part of the family. Nash then calls it an honor to induct Rick Steiner in the nWo. Rick takes the shirt, then tosses it into Nash's shirt and fights everyone else in the ring. When he confronts his brother Scott, however, his concentration is gone and he immediately gets ganged up on. Nash prepares Rick for a Jackknife Power Bomb, but Rick counters it into a back body drop. The nWo retreat when The Giant get in the ring, but Kevin Nash stands his ground and immediately gets headbutted before The Giant puts Nash in a Jackknife of his own. Dusty Rhodes almost considers fighting The Giant, but retreats. The Giant puts a hand to his neck, having placed strain on it during the powerbomb.
During the break, head of WCW security tries to handcuff The Giant and arrest him, but the handcuffs don't fit and The Giant walks away from security.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Brian Adams by disqualification when Curt Hennig shows up as Hart has Adams in the Sharpshooter. Hart lets the Sharpshooter go and goes after Hennig, and dodges a steel chair shot meant for hie head before the two of them try to take their brawl to the back. Adams grabs Bret from behind and tosses him.
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall vs. Sting and "Macho Man" Randy Savage ends in a no-contest when the nWo goes on the attack. The mysterious bearded nWo member from last week helps Hogan out of the ring. Diamond Dallas also shows up to help out Sting, but Sting is still able to fight everyone off. The Giant shows up again to make sure the nWo doesn't get back in the ring.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Scotty Riggs with the Crippler Crossface. (Lodi is seen with the words "Soy Bomb" written on his chest, a reference to Michael Portnoy, the dancing man from Bob Dylan's performance of Love Sick from the recent Grammy Awards.)
"Macho Man" Randy Savage headed to Harvard University to accept his Harvard Lampoon award of 1998 Real Man of the Year.
Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up. Bischoff says "Macho Man" Randy Savage wishes - just like the fans - that he could be Hogan. Hogan calls Savage "a piece of crap," and says Savage isn't even a real man as he couldn't keep his marriage together and couldn't hit the big late night shows like he can. He then says Savage crossed the line for standing in his shadow and questioning the nWo pecking order, and says Savage took enough rope to hang himself. He then says that, unlike Savage, he can beat Sting for the three-count. Hogan then tells Savage he has a steel cage match with him while Hall beats Sting for the World title, and that Savage isn't even good enough to carry his bags. Hogan then promises that the only thing that will be left of him is his carcass that he can rub, maim and tear on the steel cage.

We see some footage from St. Joseph's University from earlier today, where Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) spent some time with the student body and signed autographs. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Officer Charles Medley, who says it's been a long time since he was on spring break but is going wherever Okerlund goes. He also interviews Mike Carroll from Cleveland, Ohio, who recently won a contest for a Spring Break vacation.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Savage says "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan is pathetic, and that the only dark cloud hovering over him is the fact that he's been carrying him all these years. He also says that Hogan should be happy when the nWo says "for life," as if it weren't for the nWo, Hogan wouldn't have a life. When he and Hogan square off, they'll find out "who's dyin' and who's lyin'." He then quotes Hogan, saying "it's only business," as for one night only, he and Sting are going to do business as it's the only way to get Hogan and Scott Hall in the ring. He then says Sting will do business his way. As if on cue, Sting shows up and pulls out a microphone, and tells Scott Hall he "brought it" last week, and that the survey says Scott Hall is dead. He then tells Savage that he saw Savage's face along with Hogan's for the last 16 months, and that he doesn't forgive or forget. He then tells Savage that he only does business his way.
Bill Goldberg beats Sick Boy. Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Scotty Riggs, Lodi, Hammer) are seen in the front row before the match.
We see the world premiere of rap-metal band Stuck Mojo's music video for Rising, which not only features Diamond Dallas Page, but also Raven, Kidman, Scotty Riggs, Sick Boy, Lodi, and Hammer of Raven's Flock.
Mike Tenay interviews Diamond Dallas Page. He talks about the video shoot, and says no explanation is needed as to what Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Sick Boy, Scotty Riggs, Lodi, Hammer) is and that there is a reason why he and Raven are at different points in their careers. He calls Raven "a crybaby who hides behind his flock and doesn't like to be responsible for his actions." This week on Thunder, Raven will feel the bang. He then leaves through the crowd.
Before the next match, Hammer calls out Diamond Dallas Page, saying that if he hasn't left the building to shoot another Stuck Mojo music video, he has a message for him. It doesn't take long for Page to show back up, this time back through the crowd.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Hammer by disqualification after Page is attacked by Raven. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit sneaks up from behind Raven and hits him with two German Suplexes before holding Raven up so Page can hit him. Page accidentally hits Benoit, and Benoit and Page punch each other a couple of times before suddenly punching Raven.

Thunderstruck - Thunder recap for January 29, 1998
After only three episodes, the fourth episode debuts a new look with a lot of metallic-looking elements. Ventilation shafts can be seen in the background as part of the stage, and various rooftop elements can be seen at the side of the stage during the show. The detailed apron that is painted to look like a wall made of stones is gone; replaced by a simple gray apron and mat with the Thunder logo on the sides.
Diamond Dallas Page retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Sick Boy after lifting Sick Boy up into the air before hitting the Diamond Cutter. Kidman and Lodi of Raven's Flock are seen in the front row during the match (it is revealed later in the show that Scotty Riggs and Van Hammer are there with them). After the match, Kidman and Lodi consider jumping the guardrail, but Scotty Riggs hits Lodi to make him reconsider, allowing Diamond Dallas Page to leave through the crowd in celebration.
Mike Tenay interviews WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. Dillon says it would be an understatement to say he was shocked and appalled by the blatant disregard for rules and authority displayed by Kevin Nash on Nitro. He says the Jackknife Power Bomb was banned for good reason and that the Executive Committee means business, and announces that WCW has levied a fine of $50,000 against Nash. He hopes that this is the first and last time anyone is fined for performing the move, and also hopes it will wipe the smirk off Nash's face. Dillon also admits he has suspicions as to who will be paying the fine, and says that people who run in Hollywood circle know that there are budgets to everything. He says that if enough fines are levied, then the Executive Committee will get the people's attention and prove that they mean business.
Meng beats "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by pinfall with the Tongan Death Grip. At one point in the match, Duggan yanks the coat off of Jimmy Hart and drapes it over Meng's face before punching him a few times. Later on in the match, Jimmy Hart grabs Duggan's 2x4 and holds on to the referee to try to toss it to Meng. Duggan grabs the 2x4 instead and breaks it over Meng's back, but it only brings Meng to his knees and does not knock him out. After Duggan punches Jimmy Hart off the apron, Meng locks Duggan in the Tongan Death Grip as soon as he turns around. Meng pins Duggan to the mat with the hold to get the win.
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan! Eddie Guerrero! Steve "Mongo" McMichael! Bill Goldberg vs. Meng!
Raven is in the ring. He says people fear most what they do not understand or cannot comprehend. He then announces that the next match will be anything goes.
Raven beats Marty Jannetty in a match under Raven's Rules.
Rock 'n roll music legend Jerry Lee Lewis is seen in the crowd sitting behind Kidman, Raven and Scotty Riggs of Raven's Flock.
Bill Goldberg beats Yuji Nagata. After the match, Sonny Onoo tries to attack Goldberg from behind, but Goldberg turns around and scares him off.
Scott Hall shows up. After taking a survey to see who came for WCW and for The New World Order, he reminds everyone that he won World War 3 in the midst of the drama between "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Sting, and verbally blasts "Rowdy" Roddy Piper for "coming down in a dress" and telling him his dream of winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship won't come true. He then says where he comes from, it is not how many times one goes down but how many times one gets back up, and that he his coming for Piper and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. He then introduces "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, who makes his way to the ring. Dusty tells the crowd to pay attention, and says that in 1981, corporate America tried to tear down what he helped build: the tradition of professional wrestling. He says that he talked to the corporate powers that be, and he told them to take their suits and shove them. Afterwards, he was moved down to color commentary, and after carrying Tony Schiavone for so many years, he got sick and tired of it. It was then that Eric Bischoff, whom he calls "a man of vision," eased in, and The New World Order became the soundboard for professional wrestling as we know it. He says that the nWo is why people watch television, go to the arenas, and help everybody make a living in WCW. Scott Hall then says that when you are nWo, you are nWo for life, and Dusty tells "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko and "the marks on the Internet" that there will be no comeback, and tells WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon not to tell the nWo what to do, as they will do what they want when they want to, how they want to and to whomever they want to do it. He also says that if someone much smaller than Kevin Nash cannot defend themselves against Nash, then they should not get in the ring with Nash. He also tells Syxx, who is still currently out with an injury, that he is just "too sweet."
It is announced that WCW Nitro is now available on Sony PlayStation wherever video games are sold.
Scott Hall beats Disco Inferno. During the match, Scott Hall mocks The Giant and his neck injury. Disco Inferno takes advantage of the situation by wriggling out of the Outsider's Edge and hitting the Chart Buster, but "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes pulls one of Hall's legs to the underside of the bottom rope to break up the pinfall attempt. Disco never regains any momentum, and Scott Hall hits the Outsider's Edge to get the win.
Mike Tenay interviews suspended WCW referee Nick Patrick. He says it has been a month since he has been suspended without pay following the outcome of Sting vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade, and asks the crowd if they have ever seen two officials officiate in exactly the same way, and says that all of the WCW referees have their own unique cadence. He then says the World title match at Starrcade match was more of a brawl than a wrestling match, and says there was only one pinfall attempt in the match which he counted with his own cadence before Bret "The Hit Man" Hart took it upon himself to knock him out and reverse the decision himself despite not being a licensed official. He then says it is an outrage to him and the fans that WCW agreed with Bret's reverse decision and fired him afterwards, as it desecrates the World title. He then says that according to his lawyers, the fans will be seeing him again on WCW programming, and that he stands by his reputation, his decision and his count until his dying day. As for the rematch, he wants to be the man who referees it so he can prove he is "for real," not "4 lyfe."
Booker T retains the WCW World Television Championship against Saturn. During the match, members of Raven's Flock go after Booker T one by one, but Booker T fights them off. Rick Martel suddenly shows up and fights one of them off. When Saturn goes after Martel, Booker T goes for a roll-up from behind and gets the win. After the match, Saturn pushes Booker T into Martel, and Martel gets in the ring thinking Booker T hit him on purpose. This leads to an short argument between Booker T and Martel.
"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko beat Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero with a Crippler Crossface to Jericho. After the match, Mike Tenay interviews Benoit in the ring. He says his chapter with Raven has come to an end after their battle at Souled Out, and that he needs no belt of gold around his waist to prove how good he is, and all he needs is an opponent and the fans to tune in for the match. Due to his political incorrectness and his affiliations, however, he does not get all the opportunities, but he will continue inflicting pain and punishment and crippling opponents until someone takes notice. Suddenly, Diamond Dallas Page shows up and says he is taking notice. He says Benoit has never gotten a shot at the title or been in the main event is because "the so-called promoters" never saw Benoit as a main eventer. He says the promoters saw him the same way, but they were wrong about him and they are wrong about Benoit, because he can tell how badly he wants it by the look in his eyes, which reminds DDP of himself. He then says the only difference between himself and Benoit is that what Benoit wants, he has, and since the promoters won't make the match, he wants to see how the people react. He asks the crowd if there is anybody who wants to see them get it on, and he is met with positive fan reaction. DDP then says the people have spoken, and Benoit tells DDP to name the time and place, and if DDP wants to give him a shot, he will take it. DDP says it will be in Beaumont, Texas next week on Thunder. Benoit accepts.
The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Kevin Nash and Konnan by disqualification. During the match, Bugg Bagwell shows up and jerks Scott Steiner off the apron, distracting him with a pose-off in the aisle. As referee Charles Robinson is arguing with Ted DiBiase on the apron, Kevin Nash tries to hit Rick Steiner in the back with one of the tag team titles, but he is caught by Charles Robinson, who calls for the bell. After the match, Nash and Robinson argue, and when Robinson turns his back, Nash hits him with a Jackknife Power Bomb. Members of the local police show up, and Nash allows himself to be handcuffed and arrested when he gets out of the ring. Nash then says to the camera "Make sure Jack Ruby ain't sittin' in the back, alright?!" Konnan and Buff Bagwell asks if Nash will be bailed out, and Nash tells them to call "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan as Nash is led out to the back to end the show.

Duggan grabs the 2x4 instead and breaks it over Meng's back, but it only brings Meng to his knees and does not knock him out. After Duggan punches Jimmy Hart off the apron, Meng locks Duggan in the Tongan Death Grip as soon as he turns around. Meng pins Duggan to the mat with the hold to get the win.

Raven is in the ring. He says people fear most what they do not understand or cannot comprehend. He then announces that the next match will be anything goes.

Rock 'n roll music legend Jerry Lee Lewis is seen in the crowd sitting behind Kidman, Raven and Scotty Riggs of Raven's Flock.
Bill Goldberg beats Yuji Nagata. After the match, Sonny Onoo tries to attack Goldberg from behind, but Goldberg turns around and scares him off.
Scott Hall shows up. After taking a survey to see who came for WCW and for The New World Order, he reminds everyone that he won World War 3 in the midst of the drama between "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Sting, and verbally blasts "Rowdy" Roddy Piper for "coming down in a dress" and telling him his dream of winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship won't come true. He then says where he comes from, it is not how many times one goes down but how many times one gets back up, and that he his coming for Piper and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. He then introduces "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, who makes his way to the ring. Dusty tells the crowd to pay attention, and says that in 1981, corporate America tried to tear down what he helped build: the tradition of professional wrestling. He says that he talked to the corporate powers that be, and he told them to take their suits and shove them. Afterwards, he was moved down to color commentary, and after carrying Tony Schiavone for so many years, he got sick and tired of it. It was then that Eric Bischoff, whom he calls "a man of vision," eased in, and The New World Order became the soundboard for professional wrestling as we know it. He says that the nWo is why people watch television, go to the arenas, and help everybody make a living in WCW. Scott Hall then says that when you are nWo, you are nWo for life, and Dusty tells "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko and "the marks on the Internet" that there will be no comeback, and tells WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon not to tell the nWo what to do, as they will do what they want when they want to, how they want to and to whomever they want to do it. He also says that if someone much smaller than Kevin Nash cannot defend themselves against Nash, then they should not get in the ring with Nash. He also tells Syxx, who is still currently out with an injury, that he is just "too sweet."
It is announced that WCW Nitro is now available on Sony PlayStation wherever video games are sold.
Scott Hall beats Disco Inferno. During the match, Scott Hall mocks The Giant and his neck injury. Disco Inferno takes advantage of the situation by wriggling out of the Outsider's Edge and hitting the Chart Buster, but "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes pulls one of Hall's legs to the underside of the bottom rope to break up the pinfall attempt. Disco never regains any momentum, and Scott Hall hits the Outsider's Edge to get the win.
Mike Tenay interviews suspended WCW referee Nick Patrick. He says it has been a month since he has been suspended without pay following the outcome of Sting vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade, and asks the crowd if they have ever seen two officials officiate in exactly the same way, and says that all of the WCW referees have their own unique cadence. He then says the World title match at Starrcade match was more of a brawl than a wrestling match, and says there was only one pinfall attempt in the match which he counted with his own cadence before Bret "The Hit Man" Hart took it upon himself to knock him out and reverse the decision himself despite not being a licensed official. He then says it is an outrage to him and the fans that WCW agreed with Bret's reverse decision and fired him afterwards, as it desecrates the World title. He then says that according to his lawyers, the fans will be seeing him again on WCW programming, and that he stands by his reputation, his decision and his count until his dying day. As for the rematch, he wants to be the man who referees it so he can prove he is "for real," not "4 lyfe."
Booker T retains the WCW World Television Championship against Saturn. During the match, members of Raven's Flock go after Booker T one by one, but Booker T fights them off. Rick Martel suddenly shows up and fights one of them off. When Saturn goes after Martel, Booker T goes for a roll-up from behind and gets the win. After the match, Saturn pushes Booker T into Martel, and Martel gets in the ring thinking Booker T hit him on purpose. This leads to an short argument between Booker T and Martel.
"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko beat Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero with a Crippler Crossface to Jericho. After the match, Mike Tenay interviews Benoit in the ring. He says his chapter with Raven has come to an end after their battle at Souled Out, and that he needs no belt of gold around his waist to prove how good he is, and all he needs is an opponent and the fans to tune in for the match. Due to his political incorrectness and his affiliations, however, he does not get all the opportunities, but he will continue inflicting pain and punishment and crippling opponents until someone takes notice. Suddenly, Diamond Dallas Page shows up and says he is taking notice. He says Benoit has never gotten a shot at the title or been in the main event is because "the so-called promoters" never saw Benoit as a main eventer. He says the promoters saw him the same way, but they were wrong about him and they are wrong about Benoit, because he can tell how badly he wants it by the look in his eyes, which reminds DDP of himself. He then says the only difference between himself and Benoit is that what Benoit wants, he has, and since the promoters won't make the match, he wants to see how the people react. He asks the crowd if there is anybody who wants to see them get it on, and he is met with positive fan reaction. DDP then says the people have spoken, and Benoit tells DDP to name the time and place, and if DDP wants to give him a shot, he will take it. DDP says it will be in Beaumont, Texas next week on Thunder. Benoit accepts.
The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Kevin Nash and Konnan by disqualification. During the match, Bugg Bagwell shows up and jerks Scott Steiner off the apron, distracting him with a pose-off in the aisle. As referee Charles Robinson is arguing with Ted DiBiase on the apron, Kevin Nash tries to hit Rick Steiner in the back with one of the tag team titles, but he is caught by Charles Robinson, who calls for the bell. After the match, Nash and Robinson argue, and when Robinson turns his back, Nash hits him with a Jackknife Power Bomb. Members of the local police show up, and Nash allows himself to be handcuffed and arrested when he gets out of the ring. Nash then says to the camera "Make sure Jack Ruby ain't sittin' in the back, alright?!" Konnan and Buff Bagwell asks if Nash will be bailed out, and Nash tells them to call "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan as Nash is led out to the back to end the show.
