Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for November 15, 2018

Tessa Blanchard beats Ray Lyn. After the match, Blanchard calls out Taya Valkyrie, saying she has called her every name in the book and used every excuse in the world to explain why she is not Knockouts Champion. She then says she is the champion because she is a better champion than Taya can ever be, and she has been dying to know how it feels to be nothing more than Johnny Impact's wife. Taya shows up and chases Tessa Blanchard out of the ring, and tells her she is more than Johnny's wife and that she has spoken to management, and that Tessa Blachard will defending the Knockouts title against her at Homecoming on January 6th.

Backstage at the casino, KM tells Fallah Bahh that he has gotten them a match against The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) tonight, and if they can win, they can get a tag team title match where they can eventually win the titles as well as "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bourdeaux.

We see Dezmond Xavier talking to two other guys in what looks like a scene that takes place in Eric Foreman's basement from That 70s Show, complete with laugh track. We then find out that this new trio - known as The Rascals - has their debut match in two weeks.

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Heather Monroe, who will be debuting tonight against Su Yung. Heather says he is the goddess of girl power, and while Su Yung lurks around in tattered clothes, she could use a makeover. Kiera Hogan shows up and tells Heather she has no idea what she is getting herself into, and warns her that Su is ruthless, demented and has tormented the women's locker room. She tells her to be careful for her own sake.

"The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux is hounded by a fan who tries to protect her from someone taking a photo of her. This gives Bordeaux an idea.

Backstage, The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) are confident that they don't have to deal with The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez). Santana proposes that they defend the tag team titles against The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix), but Konnan tells them that now is not the time.

The GWN Flashback Moment of the Week is The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) vs. oVe (Jake and Dave Crist) at Bound For Glory 2017.

Backstage, "Reborn" Matt Sydal tells Ethan Page that destiny and the universe are in their favor, and by paying attention to signs and seeing things from a higher perspective, they will be able to separate themselves from the pack. Ethan Page plans to sit under the learning tree as Sydal takes on Johnny Impact, and says that the world will also be watching. Sydal says he see through Johnny Impact, and that Johnny has built up a front of muscles and spray tan that will not protect him from the fears he sees reflected through him.

The Desi Hit Squad (Gama Singh, Rohit Raju, Raj Singh) are in India after Dawali. Rohit Raju is looking forward to American Thanksgiving, but Gama reminds him that there is nothing to be thankful for in America and that next week, The Desi Hit Squad will go out there and ruin Thanksgiving.

Eli Drake shows up. He says that he is the last of a dying breed, and last week, he put the career of Abyss to rest and dropped the lawsuit, as it was never the point. He admit he lured out Joseph Park to end something that should have ended a long time ago, then reiterates that he is the last of a dying breed while everyone else just dresses up and plays wrestler. He also says that while the people watch these wrestlers in the ring, they are waiting for someone to take them to another level and he is that person. Eli Drake that all hardcore wrestling gives you a black high and a high doctor bill, while he does not have to do any of that and his words can do more damage than any weapon. He then says that last week was the beginning of his mission to get rid of the stunts and the garbage, as he is professional wrestling and he will lay all that to rest. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer shows up, and Eli Drake announced that Dreamer is the prime example of everything he is talking about. hHe points at Dreamer as he says that Dreamer is the problem, just like Abyss, and Dreamer threatens to bite his finger off if he points his finger at him again. He takes offense to what Eli Drake has said, as it is "skinny jeans wearing millennials" just like Eli Drake who forget the history of the wrestling business and that hardcore is not just weapons, but a work ethic that men and women did before Eli was around because they loved the business. He almost mentions Konnan and Eddie Guerrero in ECW, which led to a lucha revolution in in the 1990s, and says that people weren't chanting for tables until Sabu re-invented the business, and says the fans are the most hardcore of them all, as they made him, want to make Eli Drake, and spent their hard-earned money to make professional wrestling, and that Eli Drkae is not only insulting the fans, but also insulting him. Eli Drake responds with a sarcastic slow clap, and tells Dreamer that his speech was rousing and struck a nerve, and says that Dreamer can't touch anything that he does on his worst day even on his best day. Dreamer says he is sick of talking and never liked it, and proposes they have a fight right here and now. Eli Drake teases having a fight, then rolls out of the ring.

Backstage, Alisha Edwards reluctantly meets with Moose and tells him Eddie Edwards is coming and that Moose and his lady friend needs to leave, as Eddie has lost his mind. Moose says he is not worried about Eddie, but Alisha says she cares about what happens tonight when Eddie shows up, but Moose says he will hurt Eddie and maybe call the cops on him. He then tells Alisha to handle her husband before he does it.

The referees meet backstage regarding Tessa Blanchard when all of a sudden, "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux shows up with the fan from earlier in a blonde wig as a security guard. Bordeaux says she finds power, authority and the ability to flex said authority sexy as she flirts with the referees.

Johnny Impact beats "Reborn" Matt Sydal. After the match, Killer Kross shows up and asks Johnny if he hears the voice of Las Vegas, Nevada before telling him that he is not here to rip his head off his neck, but to tell him something. He said that when he came into the business, he was sure he was the catalyst for change until he lost to Johnny Impact at Final Hour fair and square. He then says he has to entertain the notion that perhaps he is not the catalyst for change, and that Johnny may be the catalyst, for if change will not happen by his hand, he will make sure it happens by Johnny's. He says that Johnny is more of a role model than he is, as Johnny has fighting spirit that he can respect and is not protected in the back. He tells Johnny he has no friends backstage and that everybody wants a piece of him except himself, as Johnny made a believer out of him at Final Battle. He tells Johnny to call on him if he needs assistance, and extends his hand. Johnny takes the microphone instead, and says the fans don't know Kross like he does. He says a lot of what Kross says might be true, but he does not want him near him, his wife or his dog, and tells him the answer is no.

Backstage, Jordynne Grace is met by Katarina, who congratulates her on her win against her. She tries to set up an alliance between the two of them, but when she says she could have beaten her on a different night, Jordynne Grace tells her she will see her in the ring in two weeks.
