We see footage from earlier this week where Cedric Alexander is training in the WWE Performance Center when Lio Rush shows up. Lio Rush makes fun of Cedric Alexander for "training with the rookies," and Cedric tells Lio to stop carrying Bobby Lashley's bags and train. Lio Rush says what Cedric really wants is a high-marquee match with him, and if he is looking for him, he is not hard to find.
Lio Rush beats Josh Morrell. After the match, Lio Rush dedicates his victory tonight to a man who truly inspires him: Cedric Alexander. He says that since Cedric lost the Cruiserweight Championship, he has been in a slump, and has went back to the WWE Performance Center and his roots. He says he isn't even mad; in fact, he respects that. He says that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work, and while he respects that hard work, nobody works harder than he does, and if Cedric thinks he will get back on his high horse at his expense, he's mistaken. Lio says that next week, Cedric Alexander will meet his final hour.
We are re-introduced to Mark Andrews from NXT UK, who is up next.
We hear from Mustafa Ali, who has went from a "maybe" to "the heart and soul of 205 Live." He let championship gold slip through his hands, and since then, he has worked at another chance at becoming a champion. He now has that chance against Buddy Murphy, and this time, he will not let it slip through his grap and he will become a champion. It is then made official that the Cruiserweight Championship match will take place at Survivor Series.
Next week: Akira Tozawa and The Brian Kendrick vs. Drew Gulak and "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher!
Buddy Murphy beats Mark Andrews.
