In the locker room, Alexa Bliss speaks with the Raw women's team, telling them they are beating SmackDown Live's team at their own game. Winning is not enough; she wants complete humiliation. After Nia Jax brags about what she did to Becky Lynch, Ruby Riott asks Natalya if she's glued her father's sunglasses back together. This leads to a fight between both women, and Alexa threatens to throw both of them off the team if they can't get along. Needless to say, the bickering continues, and they are out.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Charlotte Flair, who says that social media is fickle and is not about what tonight is about; it is about Raw vs. SmackDown Live. Even though she is a "stand-in," she is still reliable and can still prove who she is. She also says that anyone can throw up four fingers, but she has the birthright to back it up. Tonight, she proves that she is still the queen and that even "the baddest woman on the planet" will still bow down.
Naomi speaks with the rest of SmackDown Live's women's team. She is confident that she can fill Charlotte's shoes as team captain, and says that no matter what, they must stay united. She is about to announce their new member when R-Truth shows up. Obviously, it is not him; it is really Mandy Rose. Mandy Rose then shows up and says she might have been a bit truthful, but she is not in the mood to fight with everyone else. This almost causes a row between the team members, but Naomi says that now is not the time and that they must put everything aside.
Lars Sullivan is coming soon to the main roster!
Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) says that tonight is all about competition between Raw and SmackDown Live, and what better way than to do that with tag teams vs. tag teams. They then introduce their partners on Team SmackDown Live. When The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) are introduced, they welcome Team Raw to "The SmackDown Penitentiary." When Team Raw shows up, Chad Gable says that they are here and that they will kick Survivor Series off with a win, then Bobby Roode says it will be absolutely glorious.
Team SmackDown Live (The Usos [Jimmy and Jey Uso], The New Day [Big E and Xavier Woods], Gallows & Anderson [Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson], The Colons [Primo and Epico], SAnitY [Eric Young and Killian Dain]) beat Team Raw (the team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, The Revival [Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder], The Lucha House Party [Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik], The Ascension [Konnor and Viktor], The B-Team [Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel]) in a Traditional 10-on-10 Survivor Series Tag Team Match, with The Usos as sole survivors. (During the match, Kalisto tweaks his knee and is injured, and Gran Metalik is allowed by the referee to take his place.)
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Raw women's team captain Alexa Bliss, who announces that Team Raw now has two vacancies thanks to Natalya and Ruby Riott's argument. Bayley and Sasha Banks are chosen by Alexa as replacements. Sasha Banks reminds the team that she and Bayley don't owe them anything after what they did to them last Monday night, and after this match, she and Bayley are going after all of them. Bayley also mentions that SmackDown Live crossed the line afterwards, and this is about proving Raw is the better brand.
Team Raw (Mickie James, Tamina, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Bayley) beats Team SmackDown Live (Naomi, Carmella, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Asuka) in the women's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match with Nia Jax - who is universally booed by the crowed during the match - as sole survivor after she betrays Sasha Banks by pushing her towards Asuka and into an Asuka Lock that eliminates her from the match. Raw has a 1-0 lead over SmackDown Live (the kick-off match is not counted).
Backstage, Raw Acting General Manager Baron Corbin tells tonight will be a big night for Raw, but Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon tells him that last week as a black mark of his career and tells him that Raw had better sweep tonight if he wants to make it permanent. SmackDown Live General Manager Paige and Commissioner Shane McMahon show up and tell them that they may be a little blue tonight, but Baron Corbin says SmackDown Live can't win it when it counts and make fun of the loss of AJ Styles and Becky Lynch. Shane says that tonight will not only be the night where they turn it around, but the night that her sister will fire Corbin.
Seth Rollins beats Shinsuke Nakamura. Raw is now ahead 2-0.
Backstage, the Raw men's team talks among themselves when Braun Strowman shows up and says he doesn't like everyone except for Finn Balor, whom he says is all right, and says that if nobody pulls their weight, they're getting hands. Drew McIntyre tells Strowman that everyone should be listening to him after what he's done as of late, then Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin shows up and says this is what SmackDown Live wants. Strowman and Corbin almost come to blows, and Corbin reminds Strowman of his agreement with Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Strowman responds by tossing Lio Rush into Corbin and leaving. R-Truth then shows up out of nowhere, saying "We're better than this!" even though he is not even on Raw, much less on the Raw men's team, and Corbin tells him to get out.
AOP (Akam and Rezar) beat The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) after Big Show grabs a running Drake Maverick by the throat after Cesaro chases Drake Maverick around the ring for putting Rezar's foot on the rope during a pinfall, which causes Drake Maverick to pee his pants and distract The Bar to the point that AOP wins with a double-team vertical suplex into a powerbomb. Raw now leads 3-0. (During the show, Enzo Amore is seen in the second row opposite the hard camera in a white hoodie. During the match, Enzo draws attention to himself, making a scene, and is promptly booted out by security.)
TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs is Sunday, December 16th!
The Miz talks with the rest of SmackDown Live's men's team in the locker room. He has an inspirational speech, and says Shane is the best to say it. Shane says SmackDown Live has always been underestimated and looked over, but they are SmackDown and they have what it takes. Suddenly, R-Truth shows up, wanting to join the SmackDown Live roster even though he is already on it. Miz then says that if the team wins, everyone gets a copy of The Marine 6: Close Quarters on Blu-Ray. R-Truth says he would love an autograph from Becky Lynch.
Buddy Murphy retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Mustafa Ali.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Daniel Bryan. When asked if he is ready for Brock Lesnar despite very little preparation, Daniel simply smiles and walks away.
Team Raw (Bobby Lashley, Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman) beats Team SmackDown Live (The Miz, Shane McMahon, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio) in the men's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match with Lashley, McIntyre and Strowman as the survivors. After the match, Acting Raw General Manager blindsides Strowman before celebrating on the stage with Lashley and McIntyre. Raw now leads 4-0.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins. Rollins says he has been more focused on Dean Ambrose for the past few weeks, and is amazed that he has beaten Shinsuke Nakamura. He then learns he is defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose in four weeks at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Rollins says Ambrose has done nothing but hide, and at TLC, he won't have much left to hide behind.
"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Charlotte Flair by disqualification after Charlotte hits her with a Kendo stick. Raw now leads 5-0. After the match, Charlotte continues to wail on Ronda Rousey with not one, but two Kendo sticks before grabbing a steel chair from the timekeeper's area. The referee stops Charlotte from using the steel chair, then Charlotte stalks the ring before hitting Ronda with a Natural Selection on the steel chair that is now on the mat. Referees have to run into the ring to stop Charlotte from attacking with the steel chair, but Charlotte attacks all of the referees, wraps the steel chair around Ronda's head to trap her neck in the chair, shoves the original referee out of the ring and stomps the chair. More officials have to run into the ring to keep Charlotte Flair out of the ring as the crowd chants "Thank you, Charlotte!" and medical staff check on Ronda.
Brock Lesnar beats Daniel Bryan in a match that nearly proves Brock Lesnar mortal, with Daniel Bryan nearly making Brock Lesnar tap out to the Yes! Lock before Lesnar wins the match with an F5. With this win and not counting the kick-off match, Raw completely sweeps the main card 6-0.
