Tommy Dreamer shows up and says everyone involved on their team is united in a dream of professional wrestling, with white standing with black, man standing with woman and youth standing with age. He also says that tonight, Eddie will get his redemption.

Sami Callihan and oVe (Jake and Dave Crist) beat Eddie Edwards, Moose and Tommy Dreamer in a House of Hardcore Rules Match after Sami Callihan hits Tommy Dreamer with a low blow. After the match, Eddie Edwards viciously attacks Sami Callihan and busts his head open with Dreamer's barbed wire baseball bat before tying him to the ropes with duct tape. When Sami spits in his eye, Eddie kicks him in the groin before smashing Sami with a Singapore cane. When the referee tries to stop, Eddie shoves him out of the way before hitting him with the Singapore cane. Dreamer gets in the ring to talk sense to him, but he gets pushed out of the way before both Sami and oVe get smashed with the Singapore cane. Alisha Edwards runs in and tries to stop her husband Eddie, but Eddie immediately turns around and inadvertently hits her with the Singapore cane without even knowing it is her. Referees and doctors have to come to the ring to check on Alisha, who is soon fitted with a neck brace.
