Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for April 28, 2018

"The Kentucky Gentleman" Chuckie T beats Josh "The Goods" Woods by rolling Woods up during an arm bar.

We hear from "The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes. Brandi Rhodes says Cody is her favorite wrestler, but Cody says his favorite is Dalton Castle, saying he needs the fans and that he refuses to write him off. They've beaten the same opponents, and now all that is left is a ROH World title match between the two of them.

Jenny Rose guests on commentary for the next match.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan) congratulate SoCal Uncensored ("Almighty" Christopher Daniels, "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky) for stealing the show at Supercard of Honor XII, then say they left with absolutely nothing. Taven says they have been the first, last and only six-man tag champions for over 500, because they are The Kingdom.

Sumie Sakai beats Stella Grey. After the match, Jenny Rose congratulates Sumie on winning the ROH Women of Honor Championship, and apologizes for not being there to congratulate her at Supercard of Honor XII. After showing some footage from Manhattan Mayhem that proves that they are not always on the same page, Jenny Rose challenges Sumie Sakai for the ROH Women of Honor Championship. Sumie Sakai says she loves Jenny and does not want to fight her, but she will defend the title against her and is happy that Jenny wants to face her for the title. Sumie extends her hand, but Jenny Rose refuses to shake hands with her.

We hear from SoCal Uncensored ("Almighty" Christopher Daniels, "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky). Daniels says The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan) are nothing more than children who stole the six-man tag titles from them like children, and tells The Kingdom that SoCal Uncensored are coming to hurt them and that consequences are coming to Matt Taven.

We hear from "The Villain" Marty Scurll, who says Dalton Castle calling himself a World champion makes him physically sick. He tells Dalton he wants a shot at the title and that his days as champion are numbered.

Bully Ray shows up. He says that a certain portion of the fanbase is upset with him and his actions at Supercard of Honor XII, which leads to a "Cheeseburger" chant from the crowd. He asks what gives Cheeseburger a reason to put him on the spot, and says Cheeseburger represents what he despises in a lot of the young guys in the wrestling business, and goes on to admit that fans do what he despises. He says the young guys are spoiled and entitled, and do not deserve to be in the wrestling business, and says the crowd is also spoiled and entitled and believe they can get away with anything. He tells the crowd not to test him, as they know what he will do. After threatening to punch somebody in the face for throwing things in the ring, people throw more streamers in hte ring, and an unfurled streamer hits Bully in the head, leading to a "Yes!" chant from the crowd. Bully says Joe Koff is also a prt of what is wron with Ring of Honor, as he provides "the spoiled, entitled young boys" a platform when they have no respect and do not deserve it because he wants to be "the nice day." Bully Ray says he is still the enforcer around here, and reminds everybody that he is a WWE Hall of Famer as Joe Koff is seen walking away. Bully then says his Hall of Fame ring makes him better than every other person in the building before leaving.

We hear from Dalton Castle, who says it has been over 100 days since he become ROH World Champion. He runs down a list of people he has defended the ROH World Championship against successfully, then says he is indeed championship material.

Shane Taylor guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young retains the ROH World Television Championship against Flip Gordon.

Next week: The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) for the ROH World Tag Team Championships! Dalton Castle and The Boys vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan)!
