Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 6, 2017

Chris Jericho shows up to start tonight's show. Jericho acknowledges Chicago, Illinois as not only the birthplace of Y2J, but also the site of the resurrection. He says that Kevin Owens had it coming at Fastlane after he betrayed him at the Festival of Friendship, and wants to know why he did what he did. He calls Owens out, and Owens shows up. Owens says he won't give him the answer he wants after what he did at Fastlane, but Jericho tells him to shut up and almost cusses him out. Owens finally gives him his answer: Jericho was never his friend the entire time, and says Sami Zayn was his friend and he still stabbed him in the back. He says he used Jericho to keep the Universal Championship on his waist, and that he had the perfect combination of gullibility and experience to make him the perfect candidate. When Jericho accepted the Fastlane match on his behalf, he outlived his usefulness. He says the Fastlane match - and loss - would not have happened if it weren't for him, and admits Jericho outsmarted him. He says that he spared Jericho at the Festival of Friendship and that even this was a mistake. Owens says Jericho made the biggest mistake of his career, but Jericho says his biggest mistake was trusting him. He says he could have backstabbed him too, but he didn't. He says he has the Friends of Jericho in the arena tonight, and says costing Owens the Universal title is beginning of a long and winding road that leads to a match between them at WrestleMania. Owens says he'll get the Universal Championship when the time is right, as he has his rematch clause, but eve since Jericho took the title from him, all he could think of is taking the United States title from him. He is up for the match if the United States title is on the line. Jericho accepts that challenge, then asks why they can wait for WrestleMania when they can just do it now. Owens says there's no reason, and Owens rushes into the ring to brawl with Jericho. Samoa Joe jumps in, then Sami Zayn rushes in with a steel chair. Jericho gets a hold of the chair and uses it against both Joe and Owens to clear the ring.

It is announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have an impromptu match right now as per General Manager Mick Foley, and that both Samoa Joe and Chris Jericho are not only barred from ringside during the match, but are in a match against each other later on tonight.

Kevin Owens beats Sami Zayn.

Neville retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Rich Swann with the Rings of Saturn. Austin Aries interviews Neville after the match, and Neville says he has done what he said he would do after the crowd chants for Aries. Neville says he has taken down pretender after pretender until there is nobody on 205 Live who can hold a candle to him, and that nobody is competition for him. Aries says the WWE Universe disagrees, and Neville says Aries is crazy if he thinks he is on his level. He tells Neville to go back to commentary before he re-injures his orbital socket. Aries says he's just doing his job, and Neville asks him what he's going to do about it. Aries then says he has one more question, but it's more of a statement. He punches Neville out, then hits him with a discus forearm. Neville retreats.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass meet Sheamus and Cesaro backstage. Sheamus says Enzo and Cass choked last night, but Cass says nobody choked and tells them to watch their match tonight. Enzo says the only thing they will be choking on is champagne when they win.

Goldberg shows up. He says that the WWE Universal Championship belongs to the fans as much as it belongs to him, because he could not done it without them. Goldberg is about to divulge information he thought he would never make public when Paul Heyman shows up. He says he is not here alone, and brings out Brock Lesnar. Lesnar gets in the ring and has a close-up staredown with Goldberg, and Heyman says Lesnar is here to shake his hand for becoming the new Universal Champion. Heyman says that Goldberg has become every bit the beast that Lesnar has proven to be, but only one man will walk out of WrestleMania as WWE Universal Champion...and that man will be Lesnar, while Goldberg will be "Brock's bitch." Lesnar then hits Goldberg with an F-5 before he and Heyman leave the ring.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) by disqualification when Enzo Amore accidentally bumps into Sheamus and Cesaro after a tope suicida on Gallows. After the bell rings, Sheamus and Cesaro take out Gallows & Anderson, and Enzo gets Brogue Kicked when he latches onto the back of Cesaro. Gallows & Anderson retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude is the next inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass argue with Sheamus and Cesaro backstage. General Manager Mick Foley puts both teams in a match against each other next week, with the winners going on to face Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania. He then says he will try to have a nice day. It is then noted that Commissioner Stephanie McMahon is next to him, and she tells Mick that if he wants to have a nice day, then he should follow her to her office. Needless to say, Stephanie is not happy.

Akira Tozawa beats Ariya Daivari. After the match, he tells The Brian Kendrick to fight him face-to-face, right here, right now. Kendrick shows up and accepts his challenge for 205 Live. He hopes to teach him Lesson #5: be careful what you wish for.

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up with the New Day Popcycle again, asking the fans to make New Day Ice Cream a reality before Big E says they can now host a variety of events, including their foot going up the buns of The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico).

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) quickly beat The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico).

General Manager Mick Foley brings out Bayley, and congratulates her on her win and title retention at Fastlane. Bayley brings up telling Charlotte to leave Dana Brooke in the locker room so the match could stay one-on-one, but also mentions Sasha Banks' interference. She mentions seeing last year's WrestleMania and promising to be on this year's show. Mick Foley asks who Bayley's opponent will be at WrestleMania, then Sasha Banks shows up. She says that she knew Dana Brooke wouldn't stay in the locker room, then focus on WrestleMania and how she and Bayley want to tear the house down, before saying that she wants to make it happen. Foley asks the crowd if they want to see this, and they do. Suddenly, Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke show up, saying that it's all so crystal clear and that Sasha Banks thinks Bayley wasn't good enough to be champion, going so far as to use Bayley to get the title. Charlotte says she's the victim in this conspiracy. Mick Foley tells Charlotte she has a contractually obligated rematch. Commissioner Stephanie McMahon shows up, reminding everybody she is the boss, not Mick Foley or Sasha Banks. She calls the Chicago, Illinois crowd losers for their CM Punk chants, then sides with Charlotte Flair, saying Bayley wouldn't be champ if it weren't for Sasha. Mick Foley doesn't want Sasha out in the cold after the year she's had, and demands she also gets a title shot. Stephanie McMahon reluctantly makes a match between Sasha and Bayley, and if Sasha wins, the Raw Women's Title match at WrestleMania will be a Triple Threat Match...and Sasha Banks vs. Bayley happens right now.

Charlotte Flair guests on commentary for the next match.

Sasha Banks beats Bayley with the Banks Statement after Dana Brooke distracts the referee and Charlotte tries to get involved only to fail miserably. Sasha pushes Bayley away from the bottom rope, and Bayley taps. Charlotte then attacks Sasha and Bayley after the match.

Roman Reigns is backstage when he is interviewed by Charly Caruso. He says that he'll be in the middle of the ring at the end of the night if Braun Strowman is looking for him.

We see footage of Seth Rollins' rehab. Michael Cole then interviews Triple H live via satellite. He brags about WWE sparing no expense concerning the care of its talents. He then says that Seth Rollins lies to himself all the time, saying he didn't have to call himself the man because it was obvious while Rollins has to do it because he's the furthest from it and believes he can turn a lie into the truth. He then says that if Rollins shows up at WrestleMania to call him out, it will be the last thing he ever does in a WWE ring.

Emma is coming soon...

Samoa Joe beats Chris Jericho by count-out after putting Jericho out with the Coaquina Clutch outside of the ring and getting back in the ring before the ten count. Joe leaves the ring attack Jericho some more, but Jericho fires back with a Codebreaker. During the match, it is announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are banned from ringside.

Tomorrow night on 205 Live: Austin Aries has a message for Neville!

Braun Stromwan shows up, and tells Roman Reigns he got lucky last night and that his luck runs out tonight. He doesn't want a match; instead, he wants to rip Roman limb from limb. He calls Roman out after saying the Chicago, Illinois crowd doesn't like him, and neither does he. Roman's music hits at first, but then the ever-familiar gong of The Undertaker's theme plays. The Undertaker then shows up and stares down with Strowman before Strowman backs out of the ring and leaves through the crowd. Roman Reigns shows up as The Undertaker is about to leave, and he stares down with 'Taker. Roman tells him that Strowman called for him, and respectfully tells him this is his yard now. Roman and The Undertaker then stare at the WrestleMania sign, then The Undertaker hits Roman with a choke slam to close out the show.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
