Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 1, 2017

Patrick Clark beats Sean Maluta.

Eric Young asks what kind of man knows is walking to his end, and invites his friends. He says he knows Tye Dillinger is that kind of man and is making some bad choices. He asks Dillinger to be the one to end it for him...alone.

Asuka retains the NXT Women's Championship against Peyton Royce. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce attack Asuka after the match, and continue to work on Asuka's injured shoulder. Ember Moon shows up to make the save and beat up Billie and Peyton, then she stares down with Asuka.

We see footage from NXT TakeOver: San Antonio where "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura is helped to the back after his match. We then see Kassius Ohno talking to Nakamura, then we see footage of Ohno's return from last week.

General Manager William Regal announces that Bobby Roode will defend the NXT Championship against Kassius Ohno in two weeks.

Paul Ellering gives The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) a pep talk before the next match.

We get a look at Wolfgang from the United Kingdom Championship Tournament.

Next week: "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura is in action!

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) by disqualification after The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) attack #DIY. The Revival hit Shatter Machine on Ciampa, then Akam rushes in and go after The Revival only to fall victim to a Shatter Machine as well as Dawson and Wilder lay them out. As The Revival leave, Paul Ellering tells them that the pain is just beginning.
