205:Alive - 205 Live recap for March 7, 2017

AJ Styles and Randy Orton make their way to the back at the beginning of the show.

Austin Aries shows up to start the show. He interviews himself, saying he punched Neville in the face because he could. He was injured for three months and sitting on commentary, and to get respect, he punched the toughest man in the room. It was obvious it was Neville...until he showed up. As for what's next for Austin Aries, the "expert journalist" is no more, and the "in-ring expert" is here. Neville shows up, saying that Aries has gone off the deep end. He says Aries acted like a fool behind the commentary table, and that he's not on his level.Aries says he's right, as Neville is A-level and he's A-Double level. Neville says he's "Neville level" and that Aries isn't even near it, and then tells him to go back to the commentary table. Aries says he doesn't have to be at commentary to make jokes, and threatens to make one about chin-checking the champ for a second week. Neville says he doesn't have to raise a finger to get rid of him, and says Aries has made enemies backstage. He won't have to fight him, but if Aries wants a fight, he has a locker room who is more than happy to oblige. Aries says that he's written checks all his life and he's been able to cash all of them. He then issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to fight him.

Rich Swann and "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher meet Noam Dar in the locker room. Noam Dar asks about the flowers from last week. They haven't seen them. He asks them to watch his match to see how to get a woman like Alicia Fox.

"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and Rich Swann beat Ariya Daivari and Noam Dar. After the match, a delivery guy shows up again, this time with chocolates. Noam Dar tells the delivery guy he's late, takes the candies and gives Alicia Fox the chocolates before saying she's sweeter than all the chocolate in the world.

It is announced that Austin Aries will take on Tony Nese in his 205 Live debut.

Tom Phillips interviews The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick says Akira Tozawa is "not learning," and if he wants a fight, he's got it.

Before the next match, The Brian Kendrick says he is a man of his word, and gives him a fight: but against A Bryan Kendrick, not The Brian Kendrick. He then teaches him Lesson Six: "Always read the fine print."

Akira Tozawa beats A Bryan Kendrick.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Neville. He says Austin Aries will regret his career decision. He says the fans have suffered Aries' jokes on commentary, and now Aries will suffer the consequences. He then says that whoever becomes #1 contender for his title next week will have their work cut out for them at WrestleMania.
